IWA 12 Days of Christmas Tour Day 3

Mauro Ranallo: "The weather outside is frightful..... but things are just beginning to heat up here in Omaha, Nebraska as we are live for night three of the 12 Days of Christmas! We have a rowdy crowd ready to see the very best from the IWA! So who am I to keep them waiting? Let's get up to...... Well wait just a minute! It looks like we have a guest as our IWA World champion,  Ted DiBiase is making his way to the ring! Champ, welcome to Omaha!"          





  Ted DiBiase: "Don't be a fool Mauro! Do you forget I'm from Omaha? And besides how can you have a world title qualifying match between CM Punk and The Undertaker tonight without the world champion being here?"          

Mauro Ranallo: "Fair enough! Since you brought it up, do you have a preference on who you would like to win that match?"            

 Ted DiBiase: "I hope they both kill each other!"            

 Mauro Ranallo: "Fans..... lets get up to the ring!"            






 Match One: Rey Fenix vs Brian Pillman              

Fenix and Pillman shake hands then trade shoulder blocks to start off and then Fenix lays Pillman out with a dropkick. Fenix hits the ropes but east a Front Kick from Pillman. Pillman goes to the apron and then backflips to the floor as Fenix tries to dropkick him again. Fenix goes for a dive but Pillman moves out of the way. Pillman and Fenix exchange roundhouse kick attempts on the floor after both going for arm drags as well. They both duck and then roll into the ring and go for dropkicks at the same time and both miss.

Fenix hits a Back Handspring Headbutt followed by a Springboard Flying Headbutt and then hits the Triple Jump Springboard Lucha Armdrag sending Pillman flying to the floor. Fenix sets up for a dive but Pillman quickly rolls in and hits an Enziguri. Fenix rolls to the floor and Pillman goes for a Double Spring Somersault Plancha but Fenix moves and Pillman lands on the floor. Fenix catches Pillman with a Rolling Cutter on the floor! Back in the ring, Fenix goes to the top and hits a Senton Atomico for a nearfall!

Fenix goes for a Brainbuster but Pillman knees him and then hits a Leaping Forearm. Fenix comes back with a knee of his own and then attempts the Rope Walk Punt Kick, but Pillman moves and then hits a Flying Knee. Pillman follows up with a Running Bulldog and then a Shining Wizard for a nearfall of his own. Pillman goes for a Superkick but Fenix blocks it only for Pillman to come back with a chop. Both men go for Springboard Armdrags and they end up on opposite sides of the ropes at the corner and Pillman hits an insane Springboard Hurricanrana for a nearfall as the fans chant "THIS IS AWESOME!"

Pillman goes for a Sharpshooter but Fenix kicks him off and then attempts a Shining Wizard but Pillman moves. They kick each other again and then Pillman goes for a Superkick, but Fenix blocks it and hits one of his own! Fenix hits the ropes but eats a Roundhouse Kick and then a dropkick from Pillman! Fenix comes right back with a Superkick of his own and both men are down!

Fenix and Pillman exchange chops and other strikes until Fenix backdrops Pillman to the apron. Pillman hits a crossbody to the floor!

Fenix rolls Pillman back in the ring and goes for a Springboard Moonsault but Pillman moves and Fenix lands on his feet. Pillman hits a series of kicks and then bounces off the ropes right into a Rolling Cutter for another nearfall from Fenix! Fenix attempts a DVD but Pillman blocks it and lands on the apron. Pillman drags Fenix out to the apron where they exchange strikes again. Pillman hits a Roundhouse Kick followed by a German Suplex onto the apron! Pillman rolls Fenix back into the ring and hits Air-Pillman! 1....... 2........NO Fenix kicks out but Pillman rolls right over into a Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring! Fenix fights the hold off for several seconds before dragging himself to the ropes to break the hold. Pillman goes for a Tombstone but Fenix counters into a rollup for a nearfall and then leaps to his feet and kills Pillman with a Superkick! Fenix hits a Springboard Spin Kick and then hits a Black Fire Driver (Muscle Buster into a Michinoku Driver) for the pin!





Mauro Ranallo: "MAMA MIA!! You might as well call Rey Fenix butter..... because he's on a roll! It's a good thing the PWI Year End Awards was two days ago, otherwise that match may have been a dark horse to win match of the year!"              











Match Two: Toxic Attraction  vs Angelina Love & Velvet Sky for the GFW Womens tag titles        

Dolin got a head takedown on Angelina, who came back with a rollup. Velvet Sky tagged in with a shoulder tackle on Dolin followed by a double leg takedown for a two count. Dolin went for a headscissors. Jayne tagged in to knock down Sky, but then Sky sent Jayne into the turnbuckle a few times. Sky charged, Jayne moved and Sky hit the rung post while bumping to the floor. Jayne hit a somersault dive off the apron onto Sky on the floor. Angelina went after Jayne, so Dolin was there to send her into the steel steps.


Dolin was in control of Sky as Angelina stomped on the steps to try to get the crowd going for her partner. Jayne tagged in leading to Dolin and Sky getting some corner attacks including a cannonball on Sky. Velvet fought out of the corner with punches and kicks, but Jayne knocked her down with a back elbow.  Angelina got the tag leading to a side Russian legsweep on Jayne, then two suplexes, Jayne with a back elbow and Angelina came back with a German Suplex. Angelina went for the Sharpshooter, Jayne kicked her away and Jayne hit Love in the back after a distraction from Dolin. Jayne with a superkick, Dolin got the tag and she did an STO trip clothesline for a two count as Sky made the save. Dolin, Sky and Jayne were on the floor as Jayne sent Sky into the barricade. Mandy Rose was trash-talking Sky while Jayne kicked Sky to knock her down. Dolin tried a rollup on Love for two. Love came back with the discus clothesline. Jayne made the tag, Love didn’t see it while the referee did and Live gave Dolin the Sharpshooter, so Jayne snuck up behind Love  for the ROLLUP OF DEATH! to retain the titles!






  Mauro Ranallo: "Say what ya want about Toxic Attraction but since aligning together their confidence has shot through the roof and all three members have won championship gold!"            


 Ted DiBiase: "Their winners Mauro! And that's what winners do!"        




The cameras pan backstage where we see Eddie Kingstom arriving to the venue......





 Eddie Kingston: "WHERES MANNY'S DRESSING ROOM? SOMEBODY TELL ME WHERE TO FIND FERNANDEZ! WHERE YOU AT MANNY???"              



 Mauro Ranallo: "It looks like we have a situation brewing on our hands folks! Eddie Kingston is here and he's looking for the IWA World tv champion!"        






 Match Three: Sammy Guevara  vs Jade Dragon w/Hiro Matsuda                

Aubrey Edwards will referee this match. Loud “DRAGON” chants as the match begins. The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. They tussle around the ropes before giving a clean break. A “Sammy sucks” chant picks up. Guevara hooks a side headlock, but Dragon whips him off. Dragon drops down and leapfrogs him, but Guevara flips over him. Guevara takes him down, but Dragon slides out of the ring to recover. Guevara drops down and poses on the mat.





  Ted DiBiase: "Ya know Mauro, I don't think this kids ever gonna get it! He's never gonna make it in this business pandering to these idiot fans! I tried telling him that months ago!"          



Dragon gets in the ring and looks at him and avoids a superkick and sarcastically claps for Guevara. Dragon catches him with a waistlock, but Guevara turns it. Dragon elbows him and hits the ropes, but Guevara dropkicks him. Guevara hits a rolling standing moonsault for a one count. Dragon hooks a side headlock and takes him down. Guevara fights up and whips Dragon off, but Dragon shoulder blocks him down. Guevara pulls himself up and slaps Dragon in the face. Dragon drops down and uppercuts him. Dragon slingshots over him and hits a snap powerslam for a one count. Dragon grabs the legs and applies a Figure Four Leglock. The crowd lets out loud “WOOs”. Dragon rolls him to the center of the ring, but Guevara manages to get to the bottom rope to break the hold. Dragon wrenches the arm and yanks on it. Dragon chops the chest and lifts him up for a delayed suplex. Dragon actually turns it into a front suplex knee to the midsection for a near fall. Guevara comes back with a kick to the face. Dragon quickly comes off the middle rope with a springboard cutter for a near fall. Dragon covers again for another near fall.

Dragon throws Guevara to the apron. Guevara quickly hits a snap kick to the face before hitting a springboard off the top rope with a cutter on Dragon for a near fall. The crowd is clapping Dragon on. Guevara hits a running shoulder to the midsection and kicks him in the head. Dragon quickly comes back with a big boot to the face that knocks Guevara to the floor.

Guevara quickly drives Dragon into the ring post spine-first. An “asshole” chant picks up. Guevara gets him in the ring and goes for a moonsault. Dragon moves, but Guevara lands on his feet. Guevara goes for a standing moonsault, but lands on his feet when Dragon moves again. Finally Guevara hits a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Dragon drops him on the middle rope, and Guevara to the top rope and hits an inverted superplex for a near fall! He cannot believe it and argues with Aubrey about the count.

Dragon goes to the top rope, but Guevara scales the ropes out of nowhere and hits a super Spanish Fly for a near fall. Guevara quickly goes back to the top rope. Guevara goes for a shooting star press, but Dragon gets the knees up and connects with an inside cradle for the win! The fans pop as Dragon celebrates with Matsuda!



Ted DiBiase: "Who is this Jade Dragon?? Whoever it is, Matsuda has a gem on his hands but if Guevara would've listened to me long ago he wouldn't spend most of his time staring up at the lights!"                





The cameras pan backstage where we see Kayla Braxton......





 Kayla Braxton: "Guy's I'm in the backstage area where Eddie Kingston is destroying the set looking for Manny Fernandez. I'm going to try and get a word if I can! Eddie! Eddie..... if I may? Can you shine some light on us why your looking for Manny Fernandez?"        


 Eddie Kingston: "I've been looking for him for months! But he's always conveniently never around when I'm here! But I think it's pretty freaking obvious what's going on.  You do the math Kayla...... last week on AEW Dynamite I get jumped by someone in the back and get my ass handed to me! Then just two nights ago, we seen Stokely Hathaway and Lance Archer coming out of Mannys dressing room with a briefcase full of money! Pretty freaking obvious who put that bounty on my head! And when I find Fernandez I'm giving back a receipt!"      


Kayla Braxton: "Guy's..... there you have it! Back to you!"              





 IWA X Division Gauntlet Match: Eddie Guerrero vs Rob Van Dam                

They were moving quickly right away with Eddie running the ropes and RVD hitting a spin kick to the face. RVD with a monkey flip across the ring followed by a spinning heel kick to the face. Eddie wrenched the leg for a takedown as he worked over RVD with forearms. RVD grabbed a waistlock, Eddie backed him into the ropes and worked over RVD with kicks. RVD with a jumping side kick along with a standing moonsault for two. RVD tried a suplex, Eddie tried to counter and RVD countered that into a pin attempt for two. RVD went up top, Eddie crotched him up there and Van Dam jumped off the top with a neckbreaker across the top rope. RVD jumped off the top with a jumping side kick. RVD did a cartwheel into a moonsault. Eddie grabbed an inside cradle for two. Eddie countered a suplex into a rollup for two. RVD kicked Eddie out of the ring, then RVD jumped off the apron with a moonsault onto a standing Eddie on the floor. RVD set up Eddie across the barricade, RVD to the apron and RVD hit a spinning kick off the apron onto the barricade.  Back in the ring, RVD went for Rolling Thunder, but Eddie got the knees up to block. Eddie with the tilt-a-whirl backbreaker along with a belly-to-back suplex for two. Eddie applied a surfboard submission while bending RVD back into a sleeper, but RVD punched his way out of it. Eddie stretched RVD across his own back, RVD rolled through and got a two count out of it. Eddie was back up with a clothesline. Eddie hit a running leg lariat followed by a senton splash over the top onto RVD for a two count. Eddie hit an impressive hurricanrana after walking the ropes a bit and that got a two count. Eddie with a brainbuster into a belly-to-back suplex for two. Eddie went up top, RVD stopped that with a kick and Eddie came back with a sunset flip Powerbomb for a two count. Eddie set up for a Powerbomb, RVD slipped out of it and hit a spinning heel kick to the face that knocked Eddie out of the ring. Eddie brought the a chair into the ring, RVD got it for him and RVD hit the referee by accident. Eddie hit a neckbreaker on the chair, which wasn’t seen by the referee. Eddie went up top and hit the Frog Splash for the pinfall win!  






Ted DiBiase: "Now..... did you see that Mauro? Anything to win!"              

 Mauro Ranallo: "That's two straight wins for Guerrero in the Guantlet! We know that MJF awaits the survivor on Christmas Eve, but who will Guerrero face in Atlanta in two days?"          





  Match Five: The Briscoe Brothers vs Ghe Young Bucks (Winners Face Kings of Wrestling Dec. 21st for AEW Tag titles)            

The Briscoes attack the Bucks after the  bell rings. Jay and Nick fight on the floor. Mark swings Matt into the guardrail. Mark brings Matt back into the ring and bulldogs him out of the corner. He pitches Matt back out just as Jay whips Nick into the guardrail. The Bucks get time to themselves on the floor, but not for long as Mark tope con hilo’s out onto them. The Briscoes throw Matt into the guardrails and Nick back into the ring. They double shoulder tackle Nick. Matt is able to take out Jay on the floor. The Bucks hit a neck breaker/back breaker combo on Mark. Jay comes in but gets superkicked back to the floor. Somehow the Bucks have managed to isolate Mark in their corner. Mark flips out of Matt’s back flip and enzuigiri’s him. Jay and Nick tag in. Jay mows Nick down with a trifecta of a clotheslines and a spinebuster. He even kicks Matt off the apron for good measure. He throws Matt face first into Nick’s crotch. Jay Falcon Arrows Nick for two. Jay looks for a press slam but gets superkicked by Matt. Matt brings Mark to the floor and superkicks him as well. The Bucks hit a clothesline/enzuigiri combo on Jay in the corner. Nick hits a 450 splash while Matt dangles him in the ropes. 1...... 2......  Mark makes the save. Mark catches Nick coming into the ring with an overhead suplex. Mark shotgun dropkicks Nick to the corner. He gives Nick an Iconoclam for two. Matt shoves Mark off the top rope into a superkick from Nick. Mark blind tags in Jay. The bucks don’t see it and try More Bang for Your Buck. Mark evades it and the Briscoes go for the Doomsday Device. They don’t succeed, so Jay gives Matt a Death Valley Driver instead. Mark hits a frog splash elbow, 1.......2......  Nick breaks the pin. The Briscoes shrug off the Bucks’ superkicks and clothesline them. Jay superkicks Nick to the floor. The Briscoes hit Matt with the Doomsday Device for the pin and the win! The Bricoes will face Kings of Wrestling on December 21st for the AEW Tag titles!









 Match Six: Ricky Steamboat vs MJF For the IWA X Division title                

Steamboat gets a nice pop from the crowd but the cheers quickly turn to jeers as MJF makes his way to the ring. To say MJF is not in the Christmas spirit is an understatement.  Then as MJF walks around the ring, he comes eye to eye with the world chsmpion, Dibiase! The fans pop as the two men look each other over, then MJF smirks abd walks past DiBiase like hes not even there!


 Mauro Ranallo: "Champ, was that some shade I seen coming MJF pointed in your direction?"              

  Ted DiBiase: "You reporters and commentators are all the same..... trying to make mountains out of ant hills! The kid has spunk, I will give him that. But beating a bunch of second rate wrestlers don't impress me much. As long as he stays in his lane, he will be fine."        



Steamboat starts hot with chops but he is feeling the effects of the assault early, MJF lands forearms to the ribs to turn the tide. MJF lands forearms and knees to the ribs, Steamboat chops back into the match. MJF is thrown over the top rope onto the ramp, MJF is tossed back into the ring and Steamboat climbs high, diving chop. Steamboat sells the ribs though, throat thrust from Steamboat. MJF goes to the ribs with elbows and shoulders, boots from MJF. Thrust kick from Steamboat, corner choke from Steamboat. Steamboat sends MJF to the buckle and applies a modified hammerlock.

Steamboat works the arm, MJF lands a massive forearm. Steamboat plays possum and tricks MJF into a short-arm scissors. MJF kicks Steamboat in the ribs, more forearms to the injured ribs. Steamboat twists MJF down on his arm, repeated knees to the spine. Hammerlock from Steamboat, MJF reverses an Irish whip. Triple drop-down but Steamboat comes back with a crossbody for two, back to the arm we go with the challenger extending the arm. MJF looks to counter the short-arm scissors but Steamboat rolls through and continues working the arm. MJF finally reaches the ropes and the hold is broken, MJF dumps Steamboat to the floor. Steamboat is back-dropped on those ribs. MJF has regained control. Knee-drop to the ribs.. MJF places his elbow in the ribs of Steamboat. More knee-drops, beautiful senton into a reverse chin-lock.

MJF has the camel clutch like hold but Steamboat is powering up and we have a massive electric chair drop, Steamboat tries a splash but MJF blocks with his knees. Steamboat chops and chops, MJF takes down Steamboat and lands another knee to the ribs. Argentine back-breaker from MJF. Steamboat slips out and lands a massive chop to the head. MJF drop toeholds Steamboat. Romero special from MJF but Steamboat escapes but MJF goes back to the ribs, forearms and elbows to the ribs. Butterfly suplex for two.. MJF is sent into the turnbuckle. Steamboat tries a slam but MJF lands on top for two.. MJF works a modified abdominal stretch. MJF gets caught with the tombstone, 1......2.......NO!

MJF sends Steamboat into the buckle by the ribs, Steamboat flips out of a belly to back suplex. O’Connor roll for two, Steamboat chops down MJF after that for two. Small package for two, MJF reverses an Irish whip but Steamboat lands a massive suplex. Diving Crossbody from Steamboat for two, but could not capitalize like usual because of his ribs. Steamboat attempts to skin the cat but MJF waffles Steamboat with the belt and MJF lands a German suplex for the win!






  Mauro Ranallo: "Yet another impressive win for the PWI 2022 Wrestler of the Year! This guy goes out there match after match and continues to dominate!"            


 Ted DiBiase: "Can we get on with the show and the reason why I'm here in the first place?"            

  Mauro Ranallo: "Fans, even the world champion can't wait to see our final match of the night..... it's time for our Main Event!"              









The Arena goes nuts as The Undertaker makes his way to the ring riding his Harley!




Then the jeers fade away as Paul Heyman leads CM Punk to the ring!








  Main Event: The Undertaker  vs CM Punk w/Paul Heyman  (Winner faces The World Champion on Christmas Eve)          


The bell rings and CM Punk with a quick slap to The Undertaker early on. Punk bails, jumps back in and then goes after Taker with forearms and elbows in the corner. Taker launches Punk back to the corner and Punk with another slap to the face. Punk with big kicks and Taker responds with a huge big boot early on. Taker quickly tosses Punk out of the ring and Taker unloads with big right hands. Taker launches Punk over the ring barricade into the timekeepers area. Taker picks up Punk and drives him spine first into the steel ring post. Taker puts Punk down on the ring apron, gets in a few shots, walks up to the ring apron and drops a leg over the throat of Punk. Taker backs Punk into the corner and hits a few rights and body shots. Taker works over the left arm of Punk, backs to the corner, gets up on the top rope and Punk with a big arm drag sending Taker back into the ring. Punk with a quick kick.

Punk works over the arm of Taker, scales up the top rope and comes off with Old School on Taker! Punk laughs as Mauro says Punk is in Takers playbook. Punk goes back to work on Taker working over his arm. Taker fights to his feet, backs Punk to the corner and gets in a few quick body shots. Punk hits the corner with force, but moves when Taker comes charging in knee first. Taker slides out favoring his knee. Punk comes off the top turnbuckle with a sledgehammer shot. Back in the ring, Punk executes a quick neckbreaker and gets a two count during a pinfall attempt. Taker fights back with big rights to Punk. Punk with a swinging neckbreaker and gets another two count. Taker with a knee and suplex combo. Punk is going for a second Old School attempt. This time Taker crotches Punk on the top rope. Taker with a right hand that sends Punk down to the ringside floor. Heyman checks on Punk. Taker hits the ropes.

Heyman jumps up on the ring apron. Taker grabs him by his neck. Punk comes off the top rope with a flying clothesline. Punk with his knee to the jaw in the corner and drops Taker. Punk goes up to the top rope, comes off with his flying elbow and connects. Punk covers and Taker kicks out after two. Punk is calling for the GTS. Punk has Taker up. Taker jumps off and plants Punk with a huge chokeslam. Taker with a cover, 1......2....... Punk barely gets a shoulder up after two. Punk and Taker start exchanging right hands. Taker gets the better of it dropping Punk. Taker with more rights in the corner. Taker with a splash to Punk in the corner. Taker has Punk up and drops him with snake eyes on the corner. Punk immediately responds with a heel kick to the jaw. Punk clotheslines Taker to the outside. Taker grabs Punk looking to hit the Last Ride. Punk jumps off and catches Taker with a big kick to the head. Taker is now laying over the top of the table.

Punk goes up to the top turnbuckle. Punk raises his arms, jumps and connects with a flying elbow to the chest of Taker. Both men are down. Punk is the first to roll in the ring. The referee continues his count. Taker barely rolls in at the count of 9. Punk can’t believe it. Taker is going for the Hell’s Gate submission. Punk is trying to fight out. Punk counters lifting himself up and getting the legs of Taker hooked that results in a close two count. Punk then gets the Anaconda Vice applied. Punk is pulling back when Taker sits down on his shoulders. Taker sits up at two and stares at Punk. Taker on his feet. Punk counters a chokeslam attempt. Punk has Taker up for GTS. Punk connects with the GTS, Taker bounces off the ropes and immediately goes for the Tombstone Piledriver. Taker connects. Taker covers, 1.......2........ and Punk kicks out! Taker can’t believe it. Heyman is shocked at ringside. Punk and Taker exchange right hands and elbows. Punk with chops. Taker with rights. Punk kicks Taker in the face. Taker goes fir a lariat and Punk ducks and Taker hits the ref! Punk scoops Taker up...... GTS......NO! Taker escapes! Punk clotheslines Taker over the top rope and Taker lands on DiBiase at the commentary table, wiping the world champion out!  Punk is laughing at the carnage! Dibiase is up pissed as Undertaker rolls back inside. DiBiase is shown loading up his black glove!  Dibiase jumps on the ring apron and has words with Punk. Taker comes behind Punk and pushes Punk into the ropes...... DiBiase swings at Punk, but Punk ducks and DiBiase nails Taker with the loaded glove! Taker staggers back! Punk grabs Taker....... GO TO SLEEP!!!! Punk covers, 1...... 2.......... 3!  CM Punk wins and will face DiBiase for the world title on Christmas Eve!  







  Mauro Ranallo: "MAMA MIA...... WHAT A TURN OF EVENTS! IM PRETTY SURE THAT DIBIASE INTENDED ON HITTING PUNK, BUT HIS PLAN BACKFIRED! AND IM BEING TOLD NOW THAT UNDERTAKER WILL FACE DIBIASE TOMORROW NIGHT! AND TONIGHTS WINNER, CM PUNK..... WILL FACE THE WINNER ON CHRISTMAS EVE FOR THE WORLD TITLE! WHAT A NIGHT FANS! WE HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT! IM MAURO RANALLO SAYING SO LONG EVERYBODY!"
