Michael Cole: "Happy Holidays everyone! And welcome to WWF country as we come into your homes for night two of the 12 Days of Christmas tour! And what a historic night it will be as we three titles on the line. And we are going to kick things off with the X Division Gauntlet!" X Division Gauntlet Match: Eddie Guerrero vs Davey Richards They lock up, stalemate in the corner. This crowd is enthusiastic as Cole talks about the winner of this match will go on go night three of the tour to face Rob Van Dam. Guerrero bails to the floor after he can’t get the advantage. He comes back, kick to the gut, chops followed by punches to the back. Guerrero with a back elbow, then they exchanged killer jobs as Guerrero goes to the eye rake, then the boot stomp on the face. Guerrero with a stiff chinlock as the crowd chants “Let’s Go Davey” then “Let’s Go Eddie” immediately after. Richards fights back with a nice back suplex as Guerrero has a cut on his nose. Eddie with chops in the corner, then a Snapmare gets two as he goes for another hold on the mat using his hands under Richards nose. Guerrero brings him up, Richards charges, Eddie bails and Richards goes flying through the ropes to the floor. Eddie with a chair to the back. Six minutes in now.
Now on the ring apron, Eddie goes up with him and hits a really stiff superplex off the top. To the top, Guerrero misses the Frog Splash as Richards rolls out of the way. Richards chops the hell out of him. Eddie fights back with chops of his own and Richards clotheslines him down, then hits a bridging Northern Lights suplex for two. Richards to the top with Eddie and he hits his own superplex as Cole says “payback is a bitch.” That gets two. One German suplex for Richards, then another and a third one that he releases his hands on. Signal for the headbutt, to the top and the flying headbutt hits nothing but mat for Richards! Eddie now climbs up...... Frogsplash from the top! 1......2.......3!!! Eddie Guerrero moves on to Omaha tomorrow night to face Rob Van Dam!
Brad & Bob Armstrong vs The Soul Patrol Early stuff is Brad outwrestling Atlas with his speed then Bullet Bob tags in and roughhouses a little bit. Bob controls Atlas arm and keeps baiting Ro ky Johnson, who finally enters the ring illegally only to be quickly cut off by referree Hebner. With Earl’s back turned, the Armstrongs pulled some classic heel shit (here, they don’t tag, but Brad claps his hands together like they did). It amuses the shit out of the fans and pisses the Soul Patrol off awful as Cole states on commentary that Atlas and Johnson are letting the Armstrongs get in their head.
The first 10 minutes are all the Armstrongs controlling Atlas arm, and when he almost finally busts loose, he doesn’t, and it’s right back to it. Meanwhile the Armstrongs (especially Bob) also constantly baiting hothead Rocky Johnson which turns Hebner’s attention away and keeps making it easy for Bob and Brad to switch off without actually having to position for a tag.
Johnson finally gets the tag, and then Brad tags in on the other side and he’s ready to throw down. Brad may be game but he cannot match power with Johnson. Which of course he tries to. Brad does at least learn quickly and turns to his quickness to get the better of Johnson and send hom out to Atlas to regroup.
After coming back and getting more trouble from Brad’s speed, Johnson consults with Atlas. He’s staying patient, or trying to, anyway. Atlas tags back in, and posts his own shoulder in the corner by accident, the bad arm from earlier, and them Brad shoots up to the top for a missile dropkick.
The Patrol finally get an advantage. Atlas again distracts Hebner, but this time Johnson whips Brad into the ropes, and Johnson low bridges him, which sends Brad tumbling to the floor, and Johnson takes advantage there.
Brad hits an atomic drop on Johnson, who bumps Atlas off the apron, but Atlas gets back and tags in before Brad can tag — then Brad DOES get the hot tag to his dad, and boy does Bullet Bob take it to Atlas!
But Johnson trips Bob, and then all four men are throwing hands in the ring. Brad and Atlas fight on the floor, with paying attention to them. Atlas suplexes Brad on the cenent floor, allowing him to team with Johnson on a double clothesline on Bob. Hebner returns to make the count as The Soul Patrol pick up the win.
Michael Cole: "The Soul Patrol was uncharacteristically nasty tonight but their game plan pays off as they get the win over the #3 ranked Armstrongs! Wait just a minute fans....... I'm being told we have something breaking backstage!" The cameras pan backstage where we see Stokely Hathaway and Lance Archer walking out of the dressing room of the IWA World tv champion, Manny Fernandez! Stokely has a briefcase in his hand.
Stokely Hathaway: "Pleasure doing business with you champ! You made made a great business decision. If you need our services again, you know where to find us!" Stokely and Archer walk away and Stokely opens the briefcase and shows Archer that the briefcase is loaded with money!
Michael Cole: "What are we seeing here? And why would Manny Fernandez be paying Stokely and Archer money for anything?" Match Three: The Great Muta vs Tiger Mask for the IWGP Junior title The first part of the match featured both wrestlers testing each other technically with arm drags, hammer locks, etc and for the most part, Muta was in firm control of the match early on not giving up his armbar or hammerlock that he would transition into when Tiger Mask tried to get out of it. In fact for several minutes, he would block attempt after attempt controlling the match from the mat, slowing the pace, and not allowing Tiger Mask to do what he does best. After a couple of minutes, it looked like he was going to make a break for himself, but Muta did not fall of the sunset flip and he went right back into the hammerlock.
A minute later, he would try to break free again and again he would end up back in an armbar of sorts from Muta, who was dominating the match from a technical stand point and he was keeping Tiger Mask off his game. After forcing Muta into a pinning position, he was forced to break the hold and Tiger Mask was able to create some separation with an amazing drop kick that connected and launched Muta across the ring. It looked like Muta was going to regain control after reversing the Irish whip, but a back body drop from Tiger Mask sent him to the outside. Tiger Mask launched himself over the top rope into a crossbody on the outside. Almost immediately, he started beating Muta on the outside with a steel chair relentlessly. Muta was busted right open as the referee forced Tiger Mask back into the ring as he attended to Muta. He continued the assault as soon as Muta entered the ring.
Muta quickly put the knees up when Tiger Mask attempted a splash. A neck breaker that followed allowed Muta some time to regain his composure and as soon as they got tot heir feet, Muta laid out some huge shots that connected with Tiger Masks chin. Tiger Mask tried to apply a headlock to Muta, but was launched into the referee almost immediately knocking the referee to the ground. With the referee down, Muta nailed him with a vertical suplex and then a flying moonsault from the top rope, but there was no referee for the pin attempt. Muta got up to try and figure out what happened and as soon as the referee showed life, Tiger Mask hit Muta with a suplex and followed that with a German Suplex into a bridge pin attempt. The only problem is some guy on the outside interrupted the count by attacking Tiger Mask. It's the GFW Nex-Gen champion, Kenny Omega!!!
Tiger Mask confronted Omega only to be hit by him and Muta instead of taking advantage delivered a chop to Omega who was helping him forcing the referee to call the match. An all out mele ensued on the outside between Omega and Muta, who were also still trying to beat the hell out of each other as well. This was far from over!
Michael Cole: "Now what the Hell is Omegas problem? It's clear he has some kind of jealousy with Muta holding the IWGP Junior title! Somebody needs to put Omegas attitude in check!" Match Four: The Steiners vs Devils Duo vs High Flyers vs Midnight Express in a Fatal 4 Way Match A brawl broke out before the match began. Scott Steiner and Bobby Eaton worked together in the early stages of the match. Each team stood in each corner of the ring, tagging in and out. Buzz Sawyer and Greg Gagne brawled on the outside. Dennis Condrey and Kevin Sullivan were sent out of the ring by Rick Steiner. Brunzell leaped out of the ring to take out the Express. Sawyer dived out of the ring next. Sullivan delivered a superplex to Scott Steinef in the ring. The fast-paced match continued as Sullivan eliminated The Steiners, after hitting Rick with a tree of Woe.
The bout broke down once again as the referee struggled to keep the order. The High Fkyers and Midnights went to war in the middle of the ring. Gagene and Sawyer traded pinfall attempts as they went back and forth. Sullivan tagged himself back into the match. The Devils Duo connected with a Doomsday and followed up moments later by pinning ondret to eliminate The Midnite Express. It came down to the High Flyers and the Devils Duo. The Devils Duo kept Brunzell away from his corner. Brunzell eventually made the tag. A brawl between Gagne and Buzz and Buzz knocked down the referee on the outside. Sullivan hit Gagne with a steel chair, allowing The Devils Duo to take advantage and win.
Michael Cole: "Sullivan and Sawyer may be the craziest and most bizarre tag team in the entire IWA! And in my opinion, they could be a sleeper team to win the world tag titles some day!" Match Five: Nikita Lyonns vs Britt Baker for the IWA Womens World title Michael Cole talks about this possibly being bad timing for the #8 contender, Lyonns to challenge Baker for the title as Britt may have more confidence now than ever after winning the Womens Wrestler of the Year award last night. Lockup and Baker was sent to ringside. Lyonns set for a dive between the ropes, but Baker hit her from the floor. Later, Lyonns dropkicked a seated Baker in the corner and covered her for a two count. Lyonns knocked Baker to ringside with an enzuguiri and then hit her with a suicide dive. Back inside the ring, Lyonns hoisted Baker onto her shoulders. Baker elbowed her way free and then hit a hammerlock DDT and scored the clean pin to retain her title!
Match Six: Sting & Undertaker vs The Islanders The Islanders attack pre-match, to work over Taker’s left arm. The Islanders worked the arm for nearly five minutes, then Taker fought back and picked up Haku, only using his injured left arm and powerbombed him. Hot tag by Sting! Sting is a house of fire dropkicking Haku then backdropping Fatu as he tries to help. Stinger Splash to Fatu! Sting tags Taker! Sting puts Haku in the Scorpion Deathlock as Taker chokeslams Fatu for the win!
Michael Cole: "What a decisive win for The Undertaker and the man called Sting. DiBiase and Hernan made this personal at Thanksgiving Throwdown! And now you just have to feel that Dibiase is sweating under the collar from the heat of these two men coming for him!" Main Event: Manny Fernandez vs Ric Flair for the IWA World tv title They to the mat to start and no one can get an advantage. They try it again and Manny takes over with a hammerlock. Back up and Manny wins a power match in a top wristlock. They speed things up and Manny dropkicks him down followed by a gorilla press. Flair chops him in the corner but Fernandez shrugs them off and it’s back to the arm. Flair throws him through the ropes but Fernandez holds on and comes back in all fired up. His dropkick misses though and here comes Flair!
The challenger hits that one armed snapmare. There’s the knee drop but he doesn’t cover. Butterfly suplex gets two. Abdominal stretch has Manny in trouble but Flair gets caught pulling trunks so the hold has to be broken. Flair snapmares him down again but the knee misses. Manny IMMEDIATELY throws on a figure four and Flair is in trouble.
Ric finally makes a rope but his knee is messed up now. Manny tries to put it on again but Flair counters. A low blow takes Fernandez down but Flair can’t capitalize. Suplex gets two for Manny. Backslide for two. Flair pokes him in the eye and throws him to the floor. Fernandez comes back with a sunset flip attempt but Flair punches him in the head to break it up. This time Flair hooks a hammerlock and puts his foot on the rope at the same time.
Flair stays on the arm and puts his foot on the rope but swears he didn’t do it. Crucifix position cradle gets two. Manny fights up and hooks a sleeper. Flair slaps at the ropes but doesn’t grab them so the referee won’t break it up. A splash hits knees though and both guys are down.
Flair hits a kneecrusher out of nowhere and there’s the Figure Four. Manny turns it over so Flair lets it go. He tries to hook it again just like Manny did earlier but Flair’s is countered as well. Fernandez throws him into the corner for the Flair Flip and they go to the floor. Flair is busted so Manny pounds away at the cut.
Manny is all fired up but Flair says bring it on. Fernandez keeps pounding away at the cut and Flair is bleeding nice and strong. Big right hand gets two. Backdrop puts Flair down as he’s holding back on the belly to belly so far until he knows Flair is ready. They do the awesome backslide bridge out and the fans are all fired up now. There’s the belly to belly but Flair’s feet hit the referee. Manny rolls him up but Flair pulls the tights into one of his own for the pin. Another ref charges the ring! 1.......2........3! The new ref raises Flairs arm and gives him the IWA World tv title. But the second ref is back in the ring calling it off. Mannys foot is on the bottom rope. Flair isn't listening and Manny gets up...... Fernandez spins Flair around...... belly to belly suplex on Flair! 1.......2.......3!!! And STILLLLLL IWA WORLD TV CHAMPION........ MANNY FERNANDEZ!
Michael Cole: "We all know that Flair is the dirtiest player in the game, and Manny dodges a bullet there! But as he heads to Wrestle Kingdom to face The Rock, he could very well be the most wanted man in the entire IWA during this 12 day tour!"
