Mean Gene Okerlund: "Hello everybody and welcome to the second edition of World Class Wrestling! We are coming to you live from The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and what a night we have for you. As 8 of the very best in professional wrestling will meet in a single elimination tournament to crown our first ever World Class Champion! So what do ya say Houston? Let's get this tournament started!" Match One: Brian Cage vs Rick Rude w/Bobby Heenan Rude attacks Cage from behind. Rude is laying in the forearms but when he goes to throw him head first into the turnbuckle Cage blocks it and rams Rude into the turnbuckle 7-8 times. Cage then whips Rude into the corner and then picks him up and throws him back into the corner. Cage lays in the boots as the fans count to 10 for him.
Cage drops Rude with an atomic drop and then a clothesline up and out to the outside. Cage then goes over and rams Rude head first into Bobby Heenan. Cage gets Rude back into the ring and ends up dropping him with a clothesline. Cage then goes to the top rope and comes off with a double ax handle to Rude. Cage goes for a big splash but Rude rolls out of the way and Cage misses. Cage rolls to the outside and Rude goes out after him and grabs the WCW title and nails Cage with it on the side of the head.
Rude throws Cage back into the ring and covers, 1.....2......NO!! Rude goes to the top rope but Cage ends up hitting him in the gut and then an atomic drop. Rude regains control with a knee to the face and then a clothesline to Cage. Rude goes for a body slam but Cage blocks it and hits Rude with a body slam of his own. Cage goes for another one but Rude goes up and over and gets Cage in a sleeper hold right in the middle of the ring. Cage gets back to his feet and drops down with a jaw breaker on Rude to break the hold.
Rude keeps control and nails Cage with some right hands but Cage is fighting through it here. Rude goes for the Rude Awakening on Cage but Cage grabs the hands of Rude and breaks free before he can deliver the move. Cage goes for a clothesline but Rude blocks it and kicks Cage in the gut and then drops him with the Rude Awakening anyways. Rude goes for the cover , 1.....2.....NO!! Heenan and Rude cant believe Cage kicked out!! Rude starts pounding away at Cage who is now no selling for Rude.
Cage hits multiple clotheslines on Rude as the crowd goes crazy for him. Cage hits a flying shoulder block and then a splash for a 2 count before Heenan interferes and pulls Cage off of Rude. Cage goes out after Heenan but Rude attacks him from behind. They are brawling on the outside until Cage picks up Rude and gets him in a gorilla press and is about to throw him back into the ring but Heenan knees the Cage in the back and Cage ends up dropping Rude. Cage gets in the ring with Heenan and rams him into the turnbuckles and then throws Heenan out of the ring to the outside. Rude rolls inside and sneaks up behind Cage and rolls him into a schoolboy, 1......2.......3!! Rick Rude advances in the tournament!
The cameras pan backstage where we see Renee Young in the locker room with The Fabulous Freebirds, who are sitting at a table doing shots of Jack Daniels.
Renee Young: "Guys, pardon me saying so, but both of you guys have matches coming up tonight.....should you be drinking whiskey right before a big match?" 
Michael Hayes: "Are you KIDDING me woman? On Badstreet, we drink whiskey for breakfast....lunch....and dinner! And what's these big matches your talking about? I have David Von Erich and my Brothet Terry here has that fat slob Dusty Rhodes! It's a night off for the Freebirds. Now if you will excuse us, we have more drinking to do toots." ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Match Two: David Von Erich vs Michael Hayes David starts with two heavy armdrags and Hayes bails. They trade armbars until David takes Hayes to the canvas. Hayes counters with a headscissors and they both break as Hayes Moonwalks across the ring. David whips Hayes for a backdrop and a drop-kick to send him out of the ring. Hayes returns with a single-leg takedown and works a toehold. David goes for the hair and Hayes bails again. He returns to work on David's leg again, but is kicked into the turnbuckle. David threatens the CLAW, but chops away and whips Hayes in for a charging knee that scores a 2 count. Hayes tries running the ropes, but runs right into a sleeperhold. David cranks away as Hayes frantically tries to escape. Buddy Robert's jumps up on the apron and the ref orders him down. Hayes, still in the sleeper, charges for the ropes and he and Von Erich knock the ref out if the ring to the floor. Robert's grabs a chair and slides in the ring where he nails Von Erich in the head with the chair. Buddy places Hayes on Von Erich, then rolls to the floor, throwing the ref back inside. The ref sees the count, 1........2.......3!! Michael Hayes advances in the tourny.
***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Match Three: Hangman Page vs Cactus Jack Page makes his way to the ring to a nice ovation. Then Cactus, being the crazy bastard he is....makes his way out with a trash can full of foreign objects. The bell rings and Hangman prevented Cactus from grabbing the barbed wired bat and instead he used it on him forcing Cactus out of the ring. Hangman of course would follow Cactus outside where he continued to beat with some big rights.
When they got back in the ring, he tried to hip toss Cactus into a pile of thumbtacks, but he just missed it. The biggest mistake Cactus Jack could make in this match is to just have a fist fight with a brawler like Page which he quickly learned. Cactus was enduring just as much punishment in this match as he was dealing out and he was already busted open at one and that was just from the fists of Hangman. After delivering two straight lariats, Foley landed near the thumbtacks and without hesitation, Hangman stomped on his head forcing it in the thumbtacks. Despite all the thumbtacks jammed in his temple, Cactus fought back and he grabbed the barbed wired baseball bat and he used it on Page’s head. Despite the burst of offense from Cactus it was short lived as Hangman piledrived him into a table on the outside of the ring. When they went back into the ring, Hangman powerbombed Cactus into the thumbtacks. After forcing a rope break, Cactus grabbed a bunch of the thumbtacks, threw them at Hangman, and then DDT’d him into the thumbtacks. Cactus then threw Hangman outside the ring and follows out. Cactus body slams Page on the ringside floor. Cactus then climbs up on the apron. Cactus sizes Hangman up..... then charges down the apron, leaping off for a flying elbow drop but Hangman rolls out of the way and Cactus crashes hard to the concrete floor. Page throws Cactus inside the ring then hits The Buckshot Lariat for the victory to advance in the tournament.
***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Match Four: Dusty Rhodes vs Terry Gordy "The American Dream" makes his way out to a thunderous ovation and he plays it up to his fans. Then "Freebird" plays over the pa system and out comes Terry Gordy and the crowd is nearly ready to riot. Dusty doesnt wait for Gordy..... instead he meets him in the isle and the fight is on! Gordy was in control early and working a deliberate pace. Dusty fought back and got the advantage after going after one of Gordy’s legs. The action spills to the outside. Dusty whips Gordy backfirst into the steel post. Dusty charges in but Gordy moves and Dusty crashes arm first into the steel post! Gordy slowed that down by going after the right arm. This went on for a while as Gordys mission is to break Dustys arm. David Von Erich ran out and taped up Dusty’s injured arm. Von Erich yells at Dusty he has to finish this fight.....DO IT FOR TEXAS!! This gave Dusty the inspiration to fight back with more energy apparently. Gordy went after the arm again. They battled back and forth a little. Gordy set up for the Oriental Spike, but Von Erich tripped Gordy so he couldn’t take it. Dusty then hit a crossbody, 1…2…3!!! Dusty advances in the tourny!
Renee Young: "The opening round if the tournament is over and we are down to the Final Four! But fans joining me now are the newest members to the World Class roster...... Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen! Gentlemen what can....." 
Stan Hansen: "YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND GET YOUR BIG BUTT OUTTA HERE! LISTEN UP PEOPLE.....HANSEN AND BRODY ARE HERE! AND WE AINT HERE FOR NO STINKIN REGIONAL TITLE. WE WANT THE BIG MONEY! WE KNOW THE IWA IS CROWNING WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS ON AUGUST 1ST AND WE WANT IN! I GOTTA FAT OLD LADY AT HOME WITH SEVEN KIDS THAT I GOTTA PAY FOR! AND THE ONLY WAY TO DO THAT IS WIN THOSE IWA WORLD TITLES. SO TO ANY OF YOU PANSY TEAMS WHO WANNA TRY TO STOP US..... GET READY FOR THE ASS WHUPPING OF YOUR LIVES. BECAUSE STAN HANSEN AND BRUISER BRODY MEAN BUSINESS! HEEEEEEEEEE!!!! ***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Match Five: Hangman Page vs Rick Rude Rude grabs a headlock and talks some trash "You ain't nuthin. Which Hangman escapes and begins working Rudes arm. Rude powders selling his arm and gets back in and tries to goad him into a test of strength. Heenan puts over Rude hard here on commentary saying even though Rude is the one who is hurt, he is dictating the pace. Hangman ain't buying it and kicks him in the arm. The fans are chanting it "Break It" when Hangman has him in the armbar.
Rude gets a right hand to get out of it. He slams Hangman's head into the mat breaking only to sell his arm and talk trash. Rude begins to hip swivel, Hangman broke the Rude Awakening due to Rude's weaken arm and hit his own. However, he did a little bump 'n' grind before the pin, which Heenan mocks the "Stupid Texican" relentlessly. "You know Okerlund, thats what happened at the Alamo. Crockett was too busy swiveling his hips instead of firing his canon." Rude starts to work the back. Rude hitting his camel clutch and bearhug. But Hangman fights with an electric chair drop, but he ends up sailing over the top rope to the floor when Rude ducks. Rude does the most entertaining ab stretch ever as he gives Hangman a wicked wedgie when the ref is not watching. Rude goes back to the camel clutch and when he jumps to land on Hangman's back instead the Rude jewels crash against Hangman's knees.
Hangman hits some elbows and string together an inverted atomic drop and bulldog, 1.....2.....but Rude's foot finds the bottom rope. Rude grabs a desperation sleeper so Page backs him into the corner. Then Rude jumps over Page so that Hangman can grab a sleeper! Rude pushes off the turnbuckles to land on top to pick up the victory.
***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Match Six: Dusty Rhodes vs Michael Hayes As the introductions are being made, Buddy Robert's gets in Dusty’s face, so Dusty drops him with an elbow. Hayes approaches, Dusty raises the elbow, and Hayes backs off. The cameras pan on Buddy Robert's, who has been busted open by Dustys bionic elbow! Hayes is furious by this.....
Michael Hayes: "Referree..... I demand that this match be stopped right now! That fat slob obviously has something in his elbow pad! I should have known the Freebirds wouldnt get a fair shake being in Texas. So let's do this.....let's make this match a First Blood Match!!" The fans pop and Dusty nods his head in approval as Hayes is helping Roberts outside as the bell sounds to start the match. He gets back in and Dusty has a calm confidence about him, while Hayes is already off his game. Crowd chanting loudly, “Dusty, Dusty, Dusty.” Hayes misses a charge into the corner. Dusty has his hands up as they get close, then throws a leg kick and knocks Hayes down. Hayes scrambles to get separation and back to his feet. Dusty blocks a punch, goes for Hayes head, but Hayes scurries away. Hayes approaches, Dusty raises the elbow. Dusty strutting, prancing, really, shaking his hips and showing the world he’s in control. Dusty lazes in the corner, Hayes makes a move, and Dusty raises the elbow high, stopping Hayes in his tracks.
Hayes lands some shots, but he’s so afraid of really engaging with Rhodes, of taking a shot in return, punch or elbow. Hayes goes to the gut of the Dream, but misses a fistdrop after a takedown. Hayes runs away again, going out to get some surely sage advice from the bloody Buddy Roberts.
Dusty with a headbutt after Hayes comes back him. Dusty lazily takes Hayes down, then stomps the leg. Rhodes approaches Hayes in the corner, goes downstairs to the body to drop the arms, but Hayes gets his hands back up to block a headshot. There’s the elbow, and Dusty wants Hayes checked. No blood.
Dusty drops Hayes again when he gets up, then goes for a toehold. Dusty again showboating to the crowd, then drops the elbow into the knee. Back up and he does it again. Dusty going for him again, Hayes leaves the ring again. Back in and they knuckle lock it with one hand, but Hayes swings and misses a wild southpaw uppercut. Hayes to the breadbasket again, then takes Dusty down and drops an elbow. Hayes claws at Rhodes’ forehead, but Rhodes flips him over and stomps him in the forehead. Big double sledge swing from Dusty puts Hayes back down. No blood.
Rhodes and Hayes in the corner, struggling a bit, and Rhodes hits the referee by accident. Buddy Robert's throws Hayes a cowboy boot, but Dusty gets ahead of him and intercepts the boot.....and nails Hayes with it! Robert's climbs the apron.....Dusty hits him with the Bionic Elbow. Ref up to his feet and sees Hayes bleeding....mand awards Dusty the winner! Dusty Rhodes advances to the finals!
***COMMERCIAL BREAK*** Main Event: Dusty Rhodes vs Rick Rude To Determine the World Class Heavyweight Champion Rude attacks Dusty from behind to start before the introductions can be made. He stays on the attack until Dusty reverses a whip and sends Rude into the corner. Dusty tosses Rude outside then rams him into the ring apron a few times. Back inside, Rude knees Dusty but his back is too hurt to use a slam as Dusty fires away. Dusty misses an elbow drop then Rude takes control by grabbing a chinlock. Heenan then yells at the fans to keep their mouth shut as Dusty makes his comeback. Dusty comes out to back Heenan away but that allows Rude to attack him from behind. The ref then comes out and orders Heenan to the back. The action returns with Rude shoving Dusty into the post before rolling inside where he taunts the crowd. Rude’s back is still hurting then he works the arm of Dusty. Rude is able to take Dusty back down and work the arm. Both Rude and Dusty collide. Rude gets caught with a punch to the gut as he came off of the top rope then Dusty works the leg. Rude uses an eye rake to regain control but Dusty starts to hulk up. Dusty hits an elbow smash but gets kicked in the face ducking his head for a backdrop. Rude grabs Dusty and signals for the Rude Awakening. Rude pulls Dusty up, grabs the head and spins, but Dusty hooks the arms, drops down into a backslide, 1......2.......3!! DUSTY RHODES IS THE WORLD CLASS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! The fans erupt as David Von Erich, Hangman Page, Jushin Liger and others join Dusty in the ring to celebrate.
Renee Young: "DUSTY! DUSTY RHODES....YOU HAVE DONE IT! YOU ARE THE FIRST EVER WORLD CLASS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! CONGRATULATIONS DREAM!" 
Dusty Rhodes: "HOW SWEET IT IS RENEE YOUNG! RIGHT HERE......IN HOUSTON, TEXAS! THE AMERICAN DREAM IS THE PEOPLES CHAMPION BABY! THIS IS THEIR TITLE! AND THE AMERICAN DREAM WILL BE A FIGHTIN CHAMPION! WE ARE GONNA MAKE THIS TITLE MEAN SOMETHING! SO TO ANYBODY..... ANYWHERE...... ANY PLACE BABY! YOU WANT A TITLE SHOT? YOU GOT IT! I DONT CARE WHO THEY ARE! BECAUSE WE ABOUT TO GET FUNKY..... LIKE A MONKEY HERE IN WORLD CLASS..... IF YA WILL!" Renee Young: "I dont think anybody doubts that you will be a fighting champion. But the line if......." Renee is interrupted by the appearance of......
Paul E. Dangerously!!
Paul E. Dangerously: "First off Mr. Rhodes... allow me to be the first to congratulate you on your title win! You defeated three of the very best that Pro wrestling has to offer. So Bravo Mr. Rhodes..... Bravo! But...... I couldn't help but overhear you say that you will defend that title against..... anyone....at any place?" Dusty Rhodes: "You heard it right baby! The Dream is ready for all future challengers! Paul E. Dangerously: "I thought that's what you said! You see Mr. Rhodes, I was going to wait to unveil my newest client. But when opportunity knocks.....Paul E. Dangerously always looks to open the door. And since you did say......you would defend that World Class title against anyone......anywhere. Well..... I couldn't think of a better time or place than right now for my client to challenge you for that World Class Heavyweight title! Unless of course, your not a man of your word.... and the people should be ashamed of you holding that title?" Dusty Rhodes: "Paul E!! If you got something you wanna say....say it baby! The Dream ain't scared! This title represents all these people. And if you got somebody who wants a shot....m bring their ass out here and let's do this right now! Referee.....ring the damn bell!" Dusty is obviously worn out and tired from his previous matches as he hands the World Class title to the ref as Von Erich and Hangman try to talk him into fighting another day. But Dusty wont have any of it. Paul E. looks at Dusty and laughs then points to the dressing room, waving for someone to come out. After a few seconds, out comes......
LANCE ARCHER!!!!
Archer makes his way to the ring and stops for a last few words from Oaul E. then enters the ring. Dusty knows hes in fir a fight and quickly pounces on Archer as the bell rings. Dusty with a series of left jabs followed by the Bionic Elbow.....THAT DOESNT PHASE ARCHER!! Archer goes for a clothesline but Rhodes ducks and hits more punches. Dusty again hits the Bionic Elbow. This time Archer takes a couple of steps back. Dustys comrades at ringside pound on the mat, encouraging Rhodes on. Dusty goes for a lariat, Archer ducks, and they hit the ropes, Archer rebounds off with a huge boot to Dustys face! Paul E screams for Archer to finish it. Archer picks Dusty up....FINAL DAYS!!!! (Snap inverted DDT, preceded by a scoop lift) Dusty is down on the mat! Archer hoists him up....... and nails him with BLACKOUT!!! (Kneeling Iconoclasm) 1.....2......3!!! LANCE ARCHER IS YOUR NEWWWW WORLD CLASS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!! Paul E. grabs the title and puts it around Archers waist!
Paul E. Dangerously: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.....I INTRODUCE TO YOU.....THE FIRST MEMBER OF THE DANGEROUS ALLIANCE! AND YOUR NEW WORLD CLASS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION...... LANCE ARCHER!!!!!!"
