Tony Schiavone and David Crockett welcome everyone to the show then preview the show….
Today’s show will feature Buddy Landell taking on Booker T to determine the 1st NWA Television Champion.
Jim Cornette comes out and asks why Ron & Don Harris have yet to announce who they will be defending the NWA Tag Team Titles on May 30th?He says the Midnight Express are the only team in the NWA that should be getting a title shot.JJ Dillon comes out and says that decision will be announced next week when the champs will be here to wrestle on tv.JJ leaves and goes to the back.Cornette then does the same.

Billy & Bart Gunn

Winner-Gunns by pinfall,Bart pinned Wright

During the match Sunshine came to ringside to observe the match and she seemed to like what she saw.Billy/Bart saw here and liked what they saw.

Craig Johnson is at the podium with Steve Armstrong.
He says that Scott and Brad are not here this week.He then says even though Brad will be facing MJF at the IWA Annivesary Show he wants MJF to come to the NWA and put his belt on the line against himself at May Mayhem.He says even though he is in a team with his brother Scott he feels it is the right time for him to get a shot at some singles title.

After the match Carson went over to the podium while OMG went to the back.
Carson asked if anyone knows who Abdullah The Butcher will be facing at May Mayhem?He says it doesn’t matter because they will be destroyed.Suddenly Cowboy Bill Watts comes out and goes after Carson but Carson sees this  and  gets away and goes to the back.Watts says Carson is a coward when Abdullah isn’t around.Watts says that Abdullah and Carson are in for a surprise  at May Mayhem.















A promo for the NWA Television Title is shown.During the promo Buddy Landell says that people like Booker T don’t deserve to be in the ring with him.Booker says that winning the TV Title will be a moment that he hopes will be the stepping stone for more things in this business.

A promo for ROCK n’ ROLL EXPRESS is shown.They will make their debut at May Mayhem.Jim Cornette is shown afterwards shaking his head in disgust.

















Craig Johnson interviews Larry Zbyszko at the podium.He doesn’t say much because Jimmy Garvin and Precious come out.Precious says that Zbyszko has no chance against Garvin at May Mayhem.Zbyszko calls Garvin a coward because he has to have a woman do his bidding.Precious slaps Zbyszko then leaves with Garvin and goes to the back.

A lot of back and forth action between both wrestlers.Several near falls occurred between both wrestlers.The fans were really into this match.JJ gets up on the ring apron to distract the referee when Booker had Landell pinned but when the referee turned out and counted he only got a 2 count.Booker tried to tell the refere what happened but he said he didn’t see it in time.Booker then goes over and trys to confront JJ and while this happens Landell rolls him up from behind for the pin

After the match Landell/JJ/Konga leave and head to the back while Booker has a disapointed look as the fans cheer for him as the show comes to and end....
