Bill Apter: "Hello wrestling fans and welcome to beautiful Rio De Janeiro as we will crown the GFW Womens champion! Why Rio De Janeiro you ask? We have women competing here tonight from 8 different countries and we wanted to make it a level playing field for all involved in this high stakes tournament. And joining me now is someone who knows the womens division very well...... the IWA Womens World Champion....... Britt Baker! Champ, welcome to Rio!" Britt Baker: "The pleasure is all yours! It's about time you reached deep into your pockets and bring someone such as myself to one of your shows!" Bill Apter: "Well who better than the champ to help me analyze the great talent in this tournament? I must ask..... who is your favorite to win tonight?" Britt Baker: "Does it really matter? Whoever it is, will be just another runner up to the only title that matters! Held by yours truly...... D.....M.....D! But it's your dime, so it's more of a mini vacation for me. Plus any night that Thunder Rosa comes up short.....AGAIN.....is just pure entertainment for me!" Opening Round: Trish Stratus vs Bull Nakano As good as Trish is, she knows she cant win a brawl against Nakano so She runs at Bull, eats a lariat, runs at Bull, gets tossed asside like garbage, runs at Bull, gets slamed down. She tries a new strategy of trying to take it to the mat but that doesn't work so well either as Bull stretches her to hell instead. Trish makes her come back and She's able to hit a lot of fast moving dives and other attacks and escapes a lot of Bull's power stuff either moving out of the way to hit a move of her own or countering into a roll up or cradle for a near fall. But as is often when people try & play the speed game with Bull it ends badly as she hits a monster lariat then goes up top for a flying leg drop, 1.....2.......3!! The live crowd is stunned by Nakanos dominance as she advances to the next round.
Bill Apter: "Wow!! Trish Stratus is no joke inside that ring and Bull Nakano just went through her in short time. Even you must be impressed by that Doc?" Britt Baker: "Wanna bet? It takes more than hitting a few sushi buffets in Japan and winning one match here to impress me. Do you know how many times I've put Trish'es shoulders to the mat? Moving on!" Indi tries for a pin but Rosa kicks out.
Thunder drops her onto the ropes and slams her, trying for another pin but couldn't get the win. Thunder would do a few knee drops on her and then hit her with a running leglock, but still couldn't get the pinfall. Rosa would pick her up, upside down, and ram her back into 2 opposing ring posts before slamming her down. She then does a scissor lock around Hartwells neck while slamming elbows into her face.

Li fights to her feet and lays in strikes. Knee strikes follow and then kicks to the back. The spin kick follows for 2. Ray cuts her off with strikes, and hits the gory bomb for the win.
Bill Apter: "Xia Li is another young prospect who we......" Britt Baker: "Ohhhh come on Apter! She never had a chance! Kay Lee might be the most dangerous lady in this tournament. Madusa has a storied career of being a choke artist. She's never held a major title in her career and just because some wannabe Russian model beats her, makes her a success story?? PLEASE!!!"
