Bill Apter: "Hello once again wrestling fans, and welcome to a special Global Force presentation. We are coming to you live from Birmingham, Alabama and do we have a main event for you! You going to see Dusty Rhodes defend the GFW Heavyweight title against Jeff Cobb..... in a Texas Bullrope match! And we all know there's no love loss between those men! But right now, it's time to kick it off as the Next- Gen title is on the line!" Match One: Davey Richard's vs Kenny Omega for the GFW Next- Gen title Davey hit the tope con hello into the crowd as Omega made his way to the ring. Omega fought back quickly, but Davey cut him off soon after. Davey worked him over for a while. Omega made his comeback after blocking the handspring enzuigiri. Davey came back by going after the left arm. Kenny came back with a running Asai Moonsault into the crowd. Omega then did his FameAsser on a table that did not break. They started going back and forth in the ring. Things slowed down after that burst of offense. Omega avoided the Angle super German and hit a flurry of offense. Davey then got his flurry of offense. Omega tried for Croyt’s Wrath, but Davey avoided it several times and kept going for the kimura. Kenny finally hit the V-Trigger to get the win! After his win, Omega grabs the housemic......
Kenny Omega: "You people see this title? It means I'm the very best wrestlers on the planet! But there's something that's eating at me.....and that's what went down at Bad Intentions a few weeks ago. Okada went 30 minutes with me! I mean, we all know it was a fluke, as he's not on my level. But I have to make it right with myself. So Okada.....take a good look at this belt. Because I'm going to give you another shot at it, on May 20th at In Too Deep! That is.....if you have the balls to accept!" Match Two: Jungle Kyona and Konami vs. Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter Elbows by Jamie in the corner and she hits a lariat, Jungle fires back with her own lariat but Jamie hits another one too as they go back and forth. Elbows by Jamie and she his a sidewalk slam onto her knee followed by a running knee. Falcon Arrow by Jamie, but Kyona kicks out of the cover. Jamie picks up Kyona and goes for a suplex, but Kyona blocks it and hits a vertical suplex of her own. Big lariat by Kyona. Bea elbows her before she can jump off and joins her, but Kyona comes up from behind and hits Bea. Kyona slams Jamie on the mat, she then grabs Bea and powerbombs her onto Jamie’s head while Konami delivers a missile dropkick. Konami picks up Bea and hits a suplex, Buzzsaw Kick by Konami and she covers Bea for two.
Konami quickly applies an armlock which she switches to an armbar, Jamie tries to break it up but Kyona dropkicks her out of the ring. Konami rolls Bea around the ring while keeping the armbar applied, but Bea gets to the ropes for the break. Konami goes off the ropes but Jamie cuts her off with a lariat, she dumps Kyona out of the ring too before diving out onto both of them with a tope suicida. Jamie brings Konami onto the apron and goes for a side slam, but Konami blocks it. Bea jumps up to the top turnbuckle and hits her from behind, she gets back into the ring quickly with Konami and Jamie, and Hayter and Bea connect with a double strike to Konami. Knee to the back of the head by Bea, she gets Konami on her shoulders and nails the Queen’s Landing for the three count! Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter are your winners!
The cameras pan backstage where we see a limo pulling into the venue and we see......
Match Three: John Morrison vs Scott Hall Morrison offers a handshake before the bell but Hall declines. The bell rings and Hall pokes Morrison’s eye and laughs at him. Hall plays some mind games and then easily overpowers Morrison into an armlock. He lands some shoulder thrusts and grapples into an over-the-shoulder slam. Hall applies an armbar and slaps Morrison ’s head mockingly and calls out" WHERES HOGAN AT NOW?" Hall toys with Morrison switching between various armlocks without any resistance whatsoever. Hall chops Morrison in the corner and lands a fallaway slam. He locks in an abdominal stretch and pulls on both one of Morrisons legs and his hair. Hall locks in a STF and then places Morrison on the top turnbuckle. He follows with a super back suplex and then teases the end. Hall drops Morrison with the Razor’s Edge and gets the pinfall. Hall grabs the housemic......
Scott Hall: "Where, oh where is The Hulkster? The guy who fears no man! Has he not taking his vitamins or said his prayers? Hey Yo.....Hulkster! You may have lost all your friends and got drafted to a new home. Doesn't matter to me! I'm still here.....and I'm still calling you out Chico! Whatcha gonna do Brother?" Match Four: Isla Dawn vs Kay Lee Ray for the GFW Womens title We open with a lock-up, as Kay Lee worked over Isla’s left arm and wrist. It turns into a hammerlock, but Dawn counters out with a wristlock, before an Irish whip was reversed, with Dawn landing a knee to the gut. A kick and a double knee drop squashes Ray for a two-count, but Kay Lee’s right back up with a clothesline and some stomps.
A boot choke traps Dawn in the corner, but Ray misses a knee drop as Dawn tried to force her way back in with kicks. Dawn’s running knee traps Ray by the ropes, before a running Meteora almost got the upset, as did a Saito suplex, before she began to club away on the champion in the corner. Kay Lee returns with a tornado DDT though for a two-count, then rolled into a Koji clutch from the kick-out, but Isla rolls to the rope to force a break. Dawn tries to follow up, but Ray gets back in with a Gory Bomb for the win.
Kay Lee Ray: "A few weeks back after I won this title, I was scrolling the internet and came across some mark on there who said....." he had no idea who Kay Lee Ray was!" And you best bloody believe that chapped me! Then it came to me that the guy is someone who was born in the early 1900's and still thinks Bruno Sammartino is the best thing since sliced bread! So be it! But let me tell that Mark and anyone else who doesn't know..... pull yourself up a seat and just watch me....I will give ya the proper introduction as to who I am. And just why I put the KLR in Killer!" The cameras pan backstage once again where we see Dan Lambert and American Top Tean walk into Ric Flairs dressing room......
Dan Lambert: "There you are Flair! We've been looking for you! I'm going to make this short and sweet, to refresh your memory! We had a deal! And at Survivor Series, this man, Jeff Cobb, held up to his end and made your team victorious. It's your turn to pay up Flair! You owe us! Don't make us come looking for you again!" Top Team take their leave as Flair watches on!
Match Five: The Steiners vs Raven & Stevie Richard's for the GFW Tag Titles (Double Dog Collar Match) This is a rematch from the last show but as they make their way to the ring, Stevie Richards is notably absent from the introductions, and Raven explains that he has a broken arm and will not be participating tonight, so for the sake of fairness the match will now be 2/3 falls. Scott Steiner attacks and hangs Raven with the chain they’re connected with, while Rick heads to the back. Vicious chairshot for Raven as Rick finds Stevie in the backstage area, and indeed he’s already a bloody mess. Raven brings a table in, piledrives Scott THROUGH the table, and gets the pin at 2:07 to win the first fall. Raven & Stevie double-DDT Rick and get a two-count. Steviekick gets two. Raven and Scott bring another table in and it gets set up. Stevie gets superbombed through it for the pin at 4:17 to even things up. Brawl into the crowd as Rick KILLS Stevie with a Steinerline, but gets chaired. Meanwhile, Scott and Raven head back in, where a third table gets involved and the ref gets bumped in the process. Out if nowhere FTR run in to make it 4-on-2, and the heels pair off and superbomb both Steiners at once. The Steiners fight back and double Steinerlines for the heels, and FTR get superbombed. Yet another table is set up for Raven, and the Steiners powerbomb him through the table! That gets two!! They beat on Stevie, while Raven readies an ether-soaked rag to choke Scott out. Raven puts him on two tables, legdrops him through the first one, and elbows him through the second one!! Stevie goes up and gets crotched, and Rick suplexes him through a table, 1......2....... Raven unhooks himself from the chain and makes the save. Rick powerslams Richard's and then the Steiners work Raven over and Scott puts Raven on his shoulders and Rick flies off with the Bulldog on Raven, 1......2.......3!! The Steiners retain the titles!
Main Event: Dusty Rhodes vs Jeff Cobb w/ Dan Lambert for the GFW Heavyweight title in a Texas Bullrope match The challenger. Jeff Cobb is led to the ring by Dan Lambert and he has a face of Stone in determination. The ring announcer makes the introductions and we await Dustys entrance but he doesn't come out. Cobb is pacing back and forth getting frustrated waiting. The ring announcer again introduces Dusty.......and again, he's nowhere to be seen!
Dan Lambert: "What is this crap? Where are you at Rhodes? Stop hiding from this ass whipping and get out here and fight Jeff Cobb like a man!" After a few seconds the cameras pan backstage where we see......
The Four Horsemen giving Dusty a mugging!! It's 4 on 1 and Dusty has no chance. Flair nails Dusty with a chair. Dusty is busted open! The Horsemen set the chair up on the floor and Arn DDT's Dusty on it! The cameras can hear Flair telling Dusty "I told you I was going to take everything you have fatboy!"
Arn and Tully begin dragging Dusty's limp body towards the ring. They get to ringside and drop Dusty on the floor. Arn looks in the ring at Lambert and Cobb and says "Consider this payment in full!"
The Horsemen take their leave and Lambert demands that the ref start this match. The ref is reluctant but knows this match has been signed to happen tonight and calls for the bell. Cobb rolls out and him and Lambert put the bullrope to Dustys wrist. Cobb rolls Dusty in and begins beating him with the bullrope. Dusty is barely conscious! Cobb deadlifts his body up......TOUR OF THE ISLANDS!! 1..... 2......3!! JEFF COBB IS THE NEW GFW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!
Lambert enters the ring and jumps around the ring celebrating as the ref hands Cobb the title and show fades to black!
