Bill Apter: "Hello Nashville and welcome to..... Bad Intentions! We have a great show lined up for you tonight, headlined by the IWA World title on the line as the champion, Ric Flair defends against Bret Hart! And that one should be a classic! Speaking of classics, let's get you up to the ring for our opening contest!" Match One: Okada vs Kenny Omega for the GFW Nex Gen title They start things off quickly with some hard strikes. Okada whips Omega for the dropkick but Omega hangs onto the ropes. Both a V-Trigger and a Rainmaker get dodged. Snap dragon suplex by Omega. Omega charges for a V-Trigger into the corner but Okada dodges and tries to place Omega on the top rope for the big dropkick. Omega kicks him away and goes for the One-Winged Angel. Okada escapes and dropkicks Omega from the top rope to the floor. Omega gets whipped into the steel ring barricade then gets booted over it. Okada gets a running start and lands a huge running crossbody onto Omega. Okada tosses Omega back into the ring and lands a diving elbow drop. Rainmaker pose. Omega counters by throwing Okada out of the ring. Diving plancha by Omega. Okada gets thrown back into the ring and Omega lands a vicious diving missile dropkick onto the back of Okada’s neck for a two-count. Omega follows this with a rear chinlock, cranking Okada’s neck.
Okada tries to drag himself to the ropes using his feet, but Omega pulls them away. He hits elbows to the collarbone and rips off the tape on Okada’s neck and shoulders. A backbreaker gets Omega a two-count, as does a flurry of hard strikes to the chest and back. Omega with a rear chinlock, then an Irish whip, but Okada reverses into a big boot. Okada goes for a senton but Omega gets his knees up. Omega teases a piledriver but Okada powers out of it. Okada charges with an elbow but misses, Omega charges, but walks into a reverse neckbreaker from Okada. They crisscross, Okada drops Omega with an elbow and lands a DDT. He tries to kip up but doesn’t have the strength to do so. A basement running uppercut gets Okada a two-count as the fans chant for both guys equally. Okada tries for a Tombstone but can’t lift Omega up because of the pain in his left collar. It isn’t helping that Omega keeps hitting massive forearm clubs to that same spot.
Omega tries a Tombstone of his own but Okada escapes. Omega goes for the fireman’s carry slam/moonsault combination, but Okada gets his knees up. Okada charges but walks into a snap Frankensteiner from Omega followed by a sliding dropkick to the back of the neck. Okada counters a charge into a flapjack. Okada tries to follow up with a Tombstone but Omega lands on the apron and slaps Okada. Omega goes for a springboard but Okada dropkicks him in midair, sending him out of the ring. He teases a ringside Tombstone on Omega, but Omega counters into a poisoned frankensteiner. The crowd chants "THIS IS AWESOME!!!"
The referee checks on Okada, who hasn’t moved. Omega tells the ref hes fine as the crowd cheers for Okada. Okada grabs his fingers to see if he still has feeling in them. And as soon as Okada nods that he’s ok, Omega tosses the doctor away and throws Okada onto the apron. Then he teases the full nelson with a slow, dragged-out motion. Dragon Suplex on the apron. Okada landed right on his neck. Omega follows with a fisherman neckbreaker. Okada’s neck gets smashed into Omega’s knee. The referee counts, 1......2......NO!!!! Okada kicks out.
Omega gets Okada to his knees. V-Trigger knee strike. Followed by another. He gets Okada to his feet and Okada tries to fire back with forearms. But Omega answers with hard chops and clubs to the collar. Another V-trigger......NO!!! Okada catches the leg. He fires back with forearms. Omega lands a third knee strike. One-Winged Angel......NO!!! Okada counters into a Tombstone.Both men are down on the mat. Omega gets up first and teases an avalanche fisherman suplex, but Okada fights out with forearms. Shotgun dropkick by Okada from the top rope. Omega goes flying across the ring. Another running dropkick sends Omega flying into a corner. Okada with the Rainmaker, Omega blocks it, Okada fires back with chops and charges….and walks into a V-Trigger knee strike!! He charges for another one, but Okada answers with a standing dropkick. Both men down again. Now the crowd chants "FIGHT FOREVER!!"
Okada goes for a Rainmaker, but Omega answers with another V-Trigger. He goes for a Kotaro Crusher, but Okada counters into a German suplex. Rainmaker.....Omega ducks and lands a massive Uranage. One-Winged Angel! It’s countered. Rainmaker lariat. Both men go down. 1......2......Omega kicks out at 2.9 and the fans thought that was it!
Both men are slow to get up. Okada goes for a Tombstone but Omega counters into a victory roll for two. He tries a backslide but Okada kicks out again. Okada grabs Omega’s arm. A second Rainmaker. Then a third one right after. But he doesn’t go for the pin and fires up instead. He goes for a fourth one, but Omega ducks it. German suplex by Omega. Then a second one. Okada escapes a third one with elbows. And Omega answers with another poisoned Omega signals the end. One Winged Angel attempt once more. Okada lands some elbows. Omega reverses into Croyt’s Wrath. 1......2...... Okada kicks out again. Omega charges, but walks into another dropkick. Omega staggers, ducks a Rainmaker and lands a Rain Trigger knee! Followed by a double-underhook piledriver! He pins. 1.......2.......Okada kicks out yet again. Another V-Trigger knee by Omega. One-Winged Angel connects! In the middle of the ring! Before Omega can cover, the bell rings and the 30 minute time has expired......this match is a draw!!!! Omega and Okada are laying on the mat, exhausted as the fans all rise to their feet chanting "MATCH OF THE YEAR!"
Omega and Okada both get to their feet and have a slight stardom and you can see the respect they both have for each other after that encounter. They shake hands and leave the ring to a huge ovation!
Bill Apter: "You can hear the live crowd chanting "MATCH OF THE YEAR!" and they might be right. But it's matches exactly like that one that we promised for you in the Nex-Gen division! And I promise you right now fans..... I will do my best to sign this rematch! But right now we have a huge announcement to make. We have heard your voices......and seen the tweets! We know you want Womens tag team titles! And while the IWA doesn't see the need for them at thos time...... the GFW does! And starting in June we will hold an 8 team tournament to crown the first ever GFW Womens tag champions! And a team that's highly interested in being in that tournament is entering the ring now!" Match Two: Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox vs Marina Shaffir & Jessamyn Duke Jessamyn Duke immediately kicks Dakota Kai in the face for a near fall. Marina Shafir tags in, and they punch Kai down. Shafir knees Kai in the midsection twice before hitting a judo throw for a two count. Duke tags back in. Shafir and Duke hit a knee to the face/gutbuster combo for a near fall. Duke kicks Kai in the back and tags Shafir back in. Shafir applies an arm bar, but Kai fights up. Kai knocks Duke off the apron, but Shafir keeps her back. Kai kicks Shafir in the face.
Tegan Nox and Duke are tagged in. Nox clotheslines Duke twice and chokeslams both Duke and Shafir. Nox avalanches Duke in the corner and hits a diving cross-body block for a near fall. Kai hits Shafir with a bicycle kick to get her out of the ring. Duke rolls Nox up for a near fall. Nox comes back with the Shiniest Wizard for the win! Dakota Kai & Tegan Nox are your winners!
Match Three: The Steiners vs Raven & Stevie Richard's for the GFW Tag Titles Stevie starts off tentatively with Scott. He tries to use the ref as a shield, but that doesn’t work and he eats a big press slam. Rick comes in and tosses Stevie around for a bit, squashing him in the corners and just generally pounding on him. The Steiners trade off again, with Scott hitting a release powerbomb. He nails Stevie in the corner with a half spinkick/half corner splash. To the outside he clotheslines Stevie. Back in for the slingshot shoulderblock from Rick. The champs call for the superbomb, but Raven runs all the way around the apron to knock Scotty off the ropes. He takes care of both Steiners, getting a two count on Rick off of a double clothesline. Double arm suplex for two. Raven tries a splash on Rick, but it hits knees. In comes Stevie, and then Scotty, but the ref is all concerned about legality and puts Scott out, allowing Raven to choke Rick in the corner. Stevie gets small packaged by Rick, but the count is late because the ref is talking to Raven on the apron. Raven tags in and goes low on the Rick for a two-count. Back in comes Stevie, who scores with a headbutt. He drops down for a backdrop and gets suplexed over for his trouble. Hot tag to Scott! He unloads on both Richard's and Raven with some punches, slams Stevie, then gets a double noggin’ knocker. Steinerline to Raven! Powerslam on Stevie, but the ref is nowhere to be found as Raven and Rick are brawling outside. Scotty yells for the ref as Richard's jumps him from behind. Richard's Irish whips Scotty, who reverses Richard's in....... FRANKENSTEINER BY SCOTTY!!! 1......2.......3!!!
As the Steiners celebrate their win, out comes Dan Lambert followed by American Top Team!
Dan Lambert: "Well lookie here....The Steiners successfully defended their GFW tag titles! Granted, it was against a team that has never been relevant, but look who your champions are! So is this how it's gonna be guys? Much like the plot to the Rocky movies, where Mickie hand picked Balboas opponents. Funny how real life mirrors the movies isn't it? I mean here we have Bill Apter handpicked guys he knows you guys can beat! There's a reason he didn't have you guys face FTR tonight......he didn't want to have his champions embarrassed by losing their titles in their first defense! But yet here we are...... America's Top Team......challenging you to a title match. And fellas I'm just gonna lay this out there......if we don't get what we want soon....... well......we seen what FTR did to the Briscoes right? Top Team.......Out!" The Steiners invite FTR in the ring for a match right now. FTR accepts!! Hardwood and Wheeler slowly take their time and right about the time their about to enter the ring, Lambert calls them back, saying that American Top Team doesn't do anything for free! Then they take their leave.
Match Four: Jeff Jarrett vs Scott Hall Hall does a lot of stalling by complaining to the ref to start things off. He then bails after getting punched and paces around the ring until he drags Jarrett outside and whips him into the post. Jarrett beats on Hall outside of the ring before taking the action back into the ring. Jarrett stomps away after catching Hall with a punch then connects with a flying fist drop for a two count. Jarrett now puts Hall in a chin lock for a while then after Hall escapes, takes him down with a mat slam. Hall now chokes out Jarrett on the bottom rope then hits a dropkick for a two count. Hall rolls up Jarrett from behind for a two count but Jarrett quickly takes Hall back down. Jarrett connects with a punch from the middle rope then goes back up for another one. Jarrett now climbs to the top rope but this time Hall catches him with a punch in midair. Hall gets kicked after ducking his head again then Jarrett catches him with a sleeper. Jarrett jumps on top of Halls back then is able to bring him down but Hall eventually fights out. Hall blocks a hip toss then chokeslams Jarrett after a reversal sequence as both men are down. The ref counts then Hall is able to drape his arm over Jarrett but that only gets two. Hall fires away and knocks Jarrett down then he catches Jarrett in midair trying a crossbody. Hall instead, hits a backbreaker. Hall grabs Jarrett....... Razors Edge!!!! As the replay is shown, Hall demands the housemic......
Scott Hall: "Where, oh where, is The Hulkster? You telling me that ever since I dropped him on his head he's too busy for me? Maybe he's off playing with Jungle Boy! Or maybe..... maybe he learned his lesson by messing with me! Hey Yo......Hulkster! I will be here next show......will you?" Match Five: Dusty Rhodes vs Jeff Cobb w/Dan Lambert Cobb attacks before the belt and chokes Dusty. The referee and some of the ringside crew break this up after a lot of effort. Cobb attacks Dusty outside of the ring and just lays a beating on him. Dusty grabs a table and smashes it over the back of Cobb. Dusty rams him into the ring post and gets things back in the ring. Dusty hits a Bionic Elbow and then rams Cobb into the ring post. Back out of the ring as Cobb and Dusty brawl into the crowd. The referee calls for the bell and the fight continues. Dusty grabs a chair and just lays Cobb out with it. The brawl continues on as both men put a beating on each other until FTR rush out to help Cobb. The three put a beating on Dusty until the Steiners rush out to help Dusty. It's just a pier six brawl now until security gets them separated.
Bill Apter: "The love loss between these six men is getting out of control. And we want you fans to get your monies worth. You paid to see a winner tonight and unfortunately didn't get that. So next month, I'm making it official now..... Dusty Rhodes and The Steiners will face Jeff Cobb and FTR in a six man match and there must be a winner!" Match Six: Bob & Brad Armstrong vs Black Wallstreet in a Street Fight fir the IWA World tag team titles This is a match that Bill Apter sugned after Black Wallstreet attacked the Armstrongs during the GFW tag title tournament. All four men were slugging it out, with Bad News hightailing it up the aisle until Brad slammed him. Bob tried to whip Bad News with his belt. Instead, Bad News took him down with a belt clothesline to wear Bob out with his own belt. In the ring, Brad took a big suplex from Butch Reed. Grabbing Brad, Reed slammed Brad face first into the steel ring post to split Brads forehead. Brad was stuck on the floor, having his face scarred with Reed’s belt buckle until he belly to back suplexed Reed on the floor!
In the aisle, Bob bashed Bad News in the leg with a chair. Reed was being worked over by both opponents until Bad Newx tried to make the save. Instead, Bad News got whacked in the face by Butch Reed’s weightlifting belt. Reed got crowned with a chair. The fans loved every minute of The Armstrongs beat down on Wallstreet. Just when it seemed Bob had everything in control, Reed busted him open. Wallstreet took control thanks to Reed’s flying knee on Brad. Before Bad News could take advantage of the situation his partner created, Brad caught him on the top rope with the Superplex, 1......2......NO!
Reed sailed off the top, shoulder blocking a rising Bob. Reed got up, taking a Brad DDT. Bob went to crack Bad News with a steel chair, but got clobbered instead. Bad News went for the cover, but Bob somehow kicked out before the three count. Bad News broke free of Brads grip, clotheslining Bob. On the other side, Brad used the small package on Reed. But the ref doesn't see it and Bad News hits the Ghettoblaster on Bob for the win. Black Wallstreet retain the world tag titles.
Main Event: Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs Ric Flair for the IWA World title Flair backs Hart into the corner and lets go but not before letting out a WOOO. Flair takes Hart down to the canvas with a headlock and tries to get a pin, but Hart rolls out of it. Hart controls Flair with a hammerlock after getting to his feet. Flair reaches the ropes and is able to force a break of the hold. Flair gets control after sending Hart hard into the corner back first. That didn’t last long as Hart takes Flair over with a snap suplex. Hart follows up with a backdrop out of the corner. Bret stomps on the midsection of Flair but doesn’t followup on the advantage allowing Flair to roll to the floor to regroup. Flair returns to the ring and briefly gets control with a top wrist lock. Hart counters with one of his own and takes Flair down to the mat. Flair reaches the ropes to get out of an arm lock. Bret arm drags Flair down controls the arm. Flair tries to control Hart on the canvas, but Bret is too quick and counters the hold to continue his work on Flair’s arm. Flair tries to wrench on the arm of Hart, but that gets countered too and Hart delivers a leg drop. Flair stops Hart with a boot in the corner and a chop before sending Hart over the top to the floor. Hart sunset flips into the ring from the apron but Flair stops Hart with a punch.
Hart attempts another sunset flip from the apron and pulls down the tights of the champion for a near fall. Hart backdrops Flair and drops Flair with a few clotheslines causing Flair to retreat to the floor where Flair falls on his face. Flair returns to the ring and falls on his face allowing Bret to get a near fall. Flair struggles to his feet and stops Hart with an eye rake. Flair sends Hart hard chest first into the corner. Flair sends Hart chest first into the corner a second time. Flair drives Hart down with a knee breaker and Hart is clutching his knee on the apron. Flair has Hart in the corner and delivers a few punches and stomps to drop Hart to the canvas. Flair attempts a knee drop but Hart rolls out of the way. Hart tries to lock in the figure four, but Flair kicks Hart away into the corner. Hart is able to recover to deliver a knee breaker and focuses his attack on the right knee of Flair with elbow drops. Hart manages to get the figure four locked in right in the middle of the ring and nearly gets a pin!
Flair finally manages to reach the bottom rope and begs off from Hart. Hart attempts an elbow drop to the leg, but Flair is able to avoid it and Hart hits the mat instead. Hart counters a hip toss attempt with a backslide for a two count. Flair drops Hart with a right hand to regain control of the title match. Hart stops Flair with a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring, but Flair quickly counters with a back suplex. Flair nearly gets a win with an inside cradle, but Hart gets out of it. Flair takes Hart over with a double under hook suplex for another two count. Flair comes off the ropes and delivers a knee drop. Hart is sent into the corner and comes out only to be met with a chop which gets Flair a couple of near falls. Hart almost steals a victory with a rollup. Flair stops Hart with a knee breaker and gets the figure four locked in! Hart refuses to give in to the hold and is able to fight long enough to rollover the hold. That allows both men to reach the ropes and cause a rope break. Flair goes back to focusing on the left knee of Hart and lets loose on a few chops as well. Flair puts Hart on the mat looking for the figure four, but Hart counters with an inside cradle for a near win.
They begin to trade strikes in the corner with Hart getting the better of the exchange. Hart runs into a big boot and Flair regains control of the title match. Flair heads to the top rope but Hart gets up and is able to press slam Flair down to the canvas. Hart backdrops Flair again and drops a forearm for a two count. Hart connects with a side Russian leg sweep and Flair begs off again. Hart drives Flair down with a back breaker and comes off the middle rope with a forearm drop for a near fall. Bret hits a snap suplex and gets a two count again on Flair. Flair backs Hart into the corner and delivers a few chops but Hart isn’t selling it now. Hart hammers away on Flair and puts the champ on the top turnbuckle. Bret hooks Flair and hits a superplex! But Flair hooks Brets leg, and rolls through, 1.......2.......3!! Flair retains the world title as a dejected Hart looks on and show fades to black.
