Gordon Solie : And that leads us to tonight . The final night of Supershow . Tonight the action gets bigger . We kick things off with a Mexican Death Match between Rey Mysterio and Mil Mascaras.
This thing is a disaster from the get go . Both men fall from the ring , through a table , ringside physician waves them off . It’s ruled a no contest .
Gordon : Well nothing settled there . Right now our second match . For the American Television Title. Kerry Von Erich since winning the belt has been unstoppable. However , his former Evolution teammate HHH has been a thorn in his side . These two know each other quite well , let’s go to the ring .
American Television Title Kerry Von Erich (C) vs HHH : Hunter only sees one thing , and that’s his betrayer right in front of him . He’s in full on attack . He gets Kerry in the corner and knees him in the gut . From there hey gets off a hip toss . Kerry gets to his feet only to be knocked out of the ring by a big , nasty clothesline. Hunter pulls his man up , Kerry with a low blow and then a DDT on the floor ! He rolls Hunter back in and puts the boots to him .
Kerry rolls back out and then grabs a chair . As HHH is getting to his feet , Kerry hits him right in the head with the chair . The ref calls for the bell , disqualifying the champion. Kerry now stands over his man , pounding on him . HHH is bleeding very badly . Kerry puts on the claw . The ref tries to pull him off , but to no avail . The blood increases . Finally Kerry let’s off . HHH’s blood is all over him . Kerry wears it like a sick twisted barbarian . EMT s rush to ringside to help the fallen HHH .
Gordon : Kerry Von Erich went out tonight and made a statement here . One has to be concerned for HHH . Right now it’s time for a rather unusual X Division match up . When one thinks of the X Division World Title , they think high flying Junior heavyweight daredevils . Well , I can assure you , that free agent Maddog Buzz Sawyer is not that . He is a crazy individual who sacrifices his body and his opponents to win . As said before the X Division is not about weight limits , it’s about No limits . The X Division World Champion MJF, usually stays within the boundaries , but will push to the edge when needed . Don’t look for a high flyers in this one . Let’s go to the ring .
X Division World Championship MJF ( C) vs Maddog Buzz Sawyer: Sawyer charges the champion when the bell rings , but MJF side steps his man and the Maddog goes flying into the turnbuckles. MJF hits a reverse DDT . From there , he hits a standing Senton and applauds himself for his athletic prowess. He now walks around Buzz and then goes for an elbow drop, Buzz moves and now takes over the match .
Buzz hits a variety of Suplexes and then a nasty leaping forearm smash . From there he bounds off the ropes and hits a diving headbutt to the ribs of the champion . Now he puts the boots to the ribs . He pulls his man up , puts him over his shoulder and runs across the ring and stampedes MJF into the turnbuckles. Now Sawyer presses his man above his head and simply press slams the champion down to the floor .
Sawyer looks at his fallen victim and then the turnbuckles . A sick twisted grin comes to his face . He scales to the top , and yes , he leaps off crashing to the floor , because the champion moved at the last minute !!! MJF pulls his man up and rolls him in the ring . He hits The Heat Seeker and covers 1……2…….3 !!!!
Gordon : Well , this was better than advertised . We all knew it would be crazy . As you can see behind me , a cage is being constructed and in just a few minutes the war between Freebird Terry Gordy and Ox Baker will come to an end . While that is going on, I’m told the A Listers the IWA World Tag Team Champions have requested air time .
Freddy Miller is standing down by ringside with The Miz and John Morrison.
Freddy : Thank you Gordon , it’s my pleasure …..
Miz : ( grabs the mic ) Yes you loser , we know it’s your pleasure . It’s everyone’s pleasure when the A Listers the World Tag Team Champions are in town . Right now , we have business to discuss .
Morrison : I’m so sick of these two . All we have heard for over a year , is how great Bockwinkle and Race are ? Are they though ?
Miz : Every time we step in that ring , we beat everybody . Including those two candidates for grandfather of the year . We are generation next . We are the true elite and no team can hold a candle to us . Well tonight there will be no excuses . They have shot their stupid , old mouths off for the last damn time .
Morrison : We have nothing to prove , we beat you already , but tonight we end you two old men once and for all . The A Listers are greatness .
Miz : Tonight we will win again , but no excuses from you two . Tonight , we put these tag titles up and it will be No DQ . No count outs . Tonight will be AWWWEEEEESSOOOOOMMMMEEEE !
Morrison : And after it’s all over it’s ok . Be jealous !
Freddy : Gordon , you heard it . The IWA World Tag Team Titles are on the line, no count outs , no disqualification.
Gordon : Thank you Freddy . Well our cage is up , so let’s go to the ring .
Cage Match Ox Baker vs Terry Gordy: As Ox is walking down the aisle Hayes and Gordy jump him from behind . They rub his face in the cage , busting him open . Hayes hits a Bulldog on the plank . Now he and Gordy tie Baker to the cage and pull off their belts and start whipping them . The crowd pops as Bruno Sammartino hops the railing . He has a chair . He waffles Hayes in the back and then Gordy in the ribs and then in the back . He unties Ox and gives him a nod as in to say , the favor is returned . Hayes is getting to his feet , when Ox knocks him out cold with the discarded Bruno chair .
Ox grabs a a belt off the ground , wraps it around Bam Bam’s neck and drags him in the cage and slams the cage door shut . Ox now as Gordy lay on the mat , trying to breath , beats Ox like a government mule across the back of Gordy . The welts start to bleed . Ox whips Gordy face first into the cage and now it’s Gordy’s turn to wear the crimson mask . Ox pulls Gordy to his feet and hits a back breaker . Now he bends Gordy over his knee . Gordon eludes that perhaps a pin here won’t satisfy Ox , he may want Gordy to quit .
The bird however cannot change . ( see what I did there
) . Gordy powers his way back to his feet . He now hits a big body slam . He bounds off the ropes and hits a knee drop right to the bloody head of Baker . Gordy whips Ox into the cage and now grinds his face into the fencing . Gordy picks Ox up on his shoulders and carries him to the top of the cage . Both 300 pounders are unloading punches up there . Trying to counter one another . Gordy with a rake to the eyes and then sets for a Superplex , but Ox holds on and gets space . CHOKESLAM FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE BY OX !!!! From there he hits an elbow drop off the top . Ox pulls Gordy up …… HEARTPUNCH !!!! 1…….2……..3!!!!!!
Gordon : And there you have it . Ox Baker finally gets The Freebird off his back . Our last two matches are coming up . The Windy City Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title is on the line as The American Dream Dusty Rhodes the champion puts his belt up against The Shinobi Rick Steamboat.
And of course you heard it , Miz and Morrison the A Listers are putting their World Tag Team Titles up for grabs against the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race. No count outs and no disqualifications.
I want to remind all of you, that Friday October 29th at the United Center for Fright Night! Two matches already have been signed of course they are the Bunkhouse Semi Finals . One Man Gang taking on Bruno Sammartino and Arn Anderson going up against Rob Van Dam . Also ….. wait a minute .. there is an issue at ringside !! Let’s get down there .
Inside the cage , we see the Windy City Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion , Dusty Rhodes tired up with the discarded belts from earlier . Ultimo Dragon and Shinsuke Nakumura are pounding away on the forehead of Dusty . Gary Hart leads Steamboat down to the ring . Steamboat unloads on Dusty with precision strikes to the body . Dusty is coughing up blood . He’s bleeding from his forehead . John Rose leads team of security down . They reach Dusty and free him . Rose takes the house mic as EMT’s check on Dusty .
Rose : Hey , Hart . You and your bunch are stupid . Did you think this was going to end differently. You talk about titles , but you just blew Steamboat’s chance here . Dusty can’t wrestle tonight . His ribs are busted . He’s lost too much blood .
Jeff Hardy is down too after your little attack on him , Rey Mysterio is down as well , but so is your guy Mil Mascaras. But you know what ? You want to play games Hart ? Ok , let’s play a game . Now , normally under these circumstances the IWA insist that I hold a tourney to crown a new champion , because the belt wasn’t defended in the allotted time .
But , the IWA is just the governing body , they don’t control our belts . Dusty is still our champion . So now back to the games . War Games Hart , October 29th at the United Center for Fright Night . War Games Gambit however. One man at a time . Until the last team standing is the winner . Security , get these guys out of Wrigley and out of my sight .
Gordon : WOW ! Wargames October 29th at Fright Night . Well the cage is finally down . It’s time for the IWA World Tag Team Title Match let’s go to Freddy Miller .
Freddy : Alright !! Fans this is it . The one we have been waiting for . The main event of the evening !!! This match is one fall with no time limit , no count outs and no disqualifications . It is for the IWA World Tag Team Titles !
First , the challengers . From Beverly Hills , California and St. Louis , Mo , respectively they are the Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race!!!!
Their opponents are the IWA World Tag Team Champions from Cleveland, Ohio and Los Angelos , Cal , respectively. Miz and Morrison The A Listers .
Miz and Bockwinkle start things off . They lock up collar and elbow . Bockwinkle pushes Miz into the ropes , but Miz uses an arm stunner off the ropes . Bockwinkle’s head snaps back and Miz drops a knee across the head . He now sits Bockwinkle up and hits a leg lariat. He tags in Morrison ! Morrison does a one arm hand spring into a leg drop across the head of Bockwinkle and now works a chinkock . In the early going Miz and Morrison are using Race and Bockwinkle’s own game plan against them . Miz gets the tag , hits a Hotshot and then works a Head scissors .
Morrison comes back in and hits a spinning neck breaker . Morrison looks at Miz and can be heard saying ,”let’s send these old men home to bed .” After a standing shooting star press , he tags in Miz . Miz pulls Bockwinkle up and calls for the Skull Crushing Finale , but Bockwinkle counters into a Russian Leg Sweep! He gets the tag to Harley . Race comes as Miz is just getting to his feet , Miz goes for a clothesline, but Race backdrops him right out of the ring !!! Morrison charges Harley who drops him with that devastating right hand . Now Harley rolls outside of the ring . He chokes Miz with a camera cord and then Bockwinkle is out on the floor and he’s putting the boots to him at the same time . Morrison is back up . He bounds off the ropes ….. Twisting Corkscrew Plauncha knocking everybody down !!!!
Morrison reaches under the ring and finds a tool box , he opens it up and pulls out a screw driver . He now starts carving up , Harley with it . Morrison can be heard yelling , “ did you think you could beat us ? We can get just as nasty !!!” Harley is bleeding badly . Miz now grabs Bockwinkle . Skull Crushing Finale on the time keepers table . Miz and Morrison rolls Harley back in . Gordon talks how this is probably the beginning of the end for Race and Bockwinkle. They double whip Race into the corner and then Miz hits the awesome line , while Morrison hits Moonlight Drive after Race is down . Morrison with the cover ….. 1……..2……. Nooooo !!!!! Harley has a foot on the bottom rope ! Gordon credits Race with the presence of mind to know where he is at and get that foot to just touch the bottom rope .
Miz now comes in off the tag and now he works a sleeper . Race is losing blood in this hold . Little by little . The fans are trying to rally Harley , but really no avail here . Miz shakes his head and yells to the crowd , he’s finished . The ref is looking for some kind of response . Bockwinkle finally comes too . He rolls in the ring and knees Miz in the back of the head . Morrison comes in and Bockwinkle rakes the eyes and then clotheslines him over the top rope . Morrison hits his head in the time keepers discarded chair . That buys him just enough time that he needs . Bockwinkle, who always carries a towel with him , tears it in half . He then wraps it around Harley’s head to apply pressure , he ties it tightly and rolls Race is the edge of the ring . Gordon credits Bockwinkle for this .
Miz is up to his feet , Bockwinkle knees him in the gut and then hits a side salute Suplex back breaker !!!! Bockwinkle now with a surfboard !!! From there Bockwinkle transitions into a body scissors! Miz is now having a hard time breathing . It appears this might finally be the opening Race and Bockwinkle have been looking for . I speaking of Race , it looks like the bleeding has clotted under the towel . Race gets the tag and now drops a knee right across the ribs of Miz . Race now pulls his man up . Vertical Suplex by Race , followed by a side belly to belly !! Race now works a Bearhug !!! Miz begins to cough up blood . Gordon tells us it appears the ribs of Miz that has taken punishment the last 15 minutes or so had sustained some type of damage . Morrison comes in and waffles Harley in that back with a chair ! Then Bockwinkle comes in and Morrison hits him in the gut with the chair and then a shot in the back as well . Miz rolls to the outside .
Morrison now hits a knee drop across the head of Race . He removes the towel from his head and chokes Harley with it . Race is beginning to fade once again , but Bockwinkle has the discarded chair in his hands and he waffles Morrison in the back of the head !!! Race rolls to the outside . Now he and Miz are hurt , but they are fighting with one another . Bockwinkle now , puts the chair down in the ring . He grabs up Morrison …. PILEDRIVER ON THE CHAIR BY BOCKWINKLE!!!! Race has Miz in a Bearhug on the outside!!! Bockwinkle covers 1………2………3 !!!!!!
