Gordon : Last night RVD as advanced to the semi finals . Jeff Hardy took a beating from Black Hart . Thunder Rosa finally won the elusive Windy City Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship and Tommy Rich took home 1 Million Dollars in the Battle Riot .
Now we are in to Supershow Night 2 . Six big matches . We will kick things off , with our last Bunkhouse Quarter Final. Arn Anderson taking on Chris Adams . Let’s go to the ring.
The two men exchange holds . But Arn takes control with a top wrist lock . After he gets Adams down on the mat , he proceeds to work over the arm . Adams fights through the punishment however, he comes up with a drop kick . Adams now with a series of judo throws . Arn staggers to his feet …. SUPERKICK BY ADAMS !!!! Tully Blanchard slips in the ring , he knees Adams in the back . Gino comes down and he chases off Tully .
Adams and Arn both slowly get to their feet . Arn goes for the Spinebuster, but Adams turns it into a Spanish Fly ! Arn staggers up , Adams fires off a second Superkick , but Arn catches the leg and gets off an Atomic Knee Drop . He then uses a step over toe hold . Adams gets to the ropes for the break and then off the break , he gets off a sunset flip , but he can’t hold Arn down because of the work done in the arm earlier . Arn transitions into a Fujiwara and Adams is trapped . Adams is refusing to submit , Arn is going to break the arm , when Gino takes off his shirt and uses it as a towel to throw in the ring .
After the match Arn keeps the hold on , Gino comes in and knees him in the face . Tully comes back and he attacks Gino . Bob Backlund comes out . He puts Tully in a Crossface Chicken Wing !!! Ric Flair comes down and before he can get involved Magnum TA comes in and gets off a Belly to Belly . Then counts 3 for himself . The Horsemen don’t have the numbers as Owen couldn’t make the trip . They wisely retreat .
Gordon : Wow !!! What a way to begin night 2 , as you seen Magnum TA with that belly to belly and the three count . If he does that to Ric Flair later tonight , we have a new world heavyweight champion.
The semi finals for the Bunkhouse are set . Arn Anderson will take on Rob Van Dam on October 29th at Fright Night and Bruno Sammartino will take on One Man Gang . Right now we have the Women’s World Title up for grabs . Misty Blue Simms taking on the world champion Asuka . Let’s go to the ring .
IWA World Women’s Championship Asuka ( C) vs Misty Blue Simms: Asuka gets quite a surprise . She tries for a kick , but Misty catches it and nails her with a clothesline. Misty now with a go behind takes the champion off her feet and works a hammerlock . Asuka gets to the ropes for the break . Misty breaks clean . Misty now shoots and gets a single leg take down and right away transitions right back into the hammerlock .
Asuka goes for a back elbow , but Misty ducks and comes back up and off a over the head belly to belly !! Asuka staggers to her feet , Misty goes for a clothesline , but this time Asuka catches her with a front kick . Asuka now follows it up with a DDT . Misty staggers to her feet , spinning heel kick by Asuka . Asuka sets for a Dragon Sleeper , but Misty reverses it into a spinning neck breaker . Misty now with a bridging Suplex for a two count .
Asuka scrambles up out of the move and nails a shining wizard !!! Misty staggers up to her feet , Asuka gets off a Hammerlock DDT !! Asuka then waits , Misty is up , Asuka sinks in the Asuka lock . Misty fights for all she’s worth , almost gets her feet to the ropes before her body goes limp . The ref waves an unconscious Misty off . Asuka retains .
Gordon : For over a year now , Asuka has been champion . Can anyone beat this young lady . Up next the WCW Tag Team Titles are on the line . The champions from Windy City Pro Wrestling Evolution defending those titles against Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko
To open Malenko and Benoit start off very aggressive . They get Orton in the corner and chop the hell out of his chest . He’s actually bleeding , it’s so brutal . From there Malenko hits a side salute and tags in Chris . Chris hits a release German Suplex. Then tags off to Malenko who gets off a vertical face buster . The tag to Chris and Orton off that tag hits an RKO .
Orton rolls to the corner and tags in Batista ! Batista with a big clothesline and then tosses Benoit into the corner . He shoulders him the ribs then hits a Spinebuster!!! He covers and gets a two count . He tags in Orton who now works that infamous chin lock . Benoit elbows his way out snap Suplex by Benoit . He tags Malenko back in .
Malenko gets caught however with a standing dropkick by Orton . Orton takes him to the corner and sets for a Superplex, but Malenko headbutts his way out and gets off a makeshift belly to belly . He tags Benoit back in who goes for the diving headbutt , Orton moves !!! Orton with the tag to Batista ….. SPEAR !!!! Batista covers 1……2…….3 !!!
Gordon : Since winning the WCW tag team titles . Evolution has turned back challenge after challenge . Right now a rather interesting match up . Jungle Boy the Kentucky Light Heavyweight Champion has a long history with Windy City Pro Wrestling’s Jushin Thunder Liger. Tonight Jungle Boy tries to defeat his idol for the first time in this historic rivalry. Let’s go to the ring .
Kentucky Light Heavyweight Title Jungle Boy (C) vs Jushin Thunder Liger: They meet in the middle of the ring . They circle each other . It’s seems to be a lot of talking going on . Liger tries to get into the youngsters head , he slaps him across the face . But this is a different man than the one he faced at Wrestlemania two years ago . Jungle Boy laughs , nods his head and then FIRES OFF A SUPERKICK!!!! The move takes Liger right out of the ring . Jungle Boy from there goes up , Plancha !!! He rolls Liger back in .
Liger staggers up to his feet , Jungle Boy is set on the top rope , he comes off with a Crossbody but Liger catches him and get a makeshift Powerslam !!! Liger now works a cross breaker . Gordon talks about how Liger’s experience is in play here . He can slow the match down and punish the youngster . Jungle Boy gets to the ropes , off the breaker however Liger grabs the left arm and gets off chicken wing press slam ! Jack yells out in pain . Liger now uses a standing wrist lock . Jack gets to the ropes for the break , Liger off the break hits a spinning back kick that knocks Jungle Boy out of the ring .
Liger now hits a double axe handle to the back of Jungle Boy’s head . He rolls him in . Jungle Boy staggers up and Liger gets off a rolling koppou kick !! Liger bounds off the ropes and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb ! He covers 1…..2…..Noooo !!! Liger now works the Koji Clutch which he learned years ago from his friend Koji Kanemoto . Jungle Boy somehow crawls in his belly to get to the ropes !!! Off the break , Liger sets for a Liger Bomb , but Jack turns it into Hurnacarana !!!
Liger bounces up to his feet only to be cut down by a Leaping Lariat by Jungle Boy !!! Jungle Boy hits a Death Valley Driver and then from there he goes up top . He comes off with Jungle Fever …..but Liger gets his knees up . Jungle Boy crashes and burns . Liger stands over , the mic him up , “ stupid young warrior . I told you , now I will show mercy and end this . “ Liger goes up top … Shooting Star Press , but noooo !!! Jungle Boy catches him in a Triangle coming down !!! From there he transitions into the Snare Trap !!! Liger is caught in the middle of the ring . He has nowhere to go . Liger taps out !!! Jungle Boy retains the Kentucky Light Heavyweight Title.
Post match . As his hand is raised in victory , tears stream down the youngster’s face . Liger goes over and bows . Jungle Boy in kind bows back . The two men shake hands and then hug . Jungle Boy has beat his boyhood hero and Liger is showing the respect he deserves.
Gordon : What a moment . And to think , we have Ric Flair and Magnum TA for the World Heavyweight Title up next . However before we get to that I’m being joined out here by last night’s Battle Riot winner from Blue Grass Rasslin , “ Wildfire “ Tommy Rich . Sir , you have a heavy interest in this match .
Wildfire : Well yes I do Gordon , the Worl Championship is sumthin I always wanted , but never had an opportunity. Well last night I won that chance . Whoever wins tonight , might be the guy I’m facin . I came out here to scout .
Gordon: Fair enough . Magnum TA is trying to get back to the mountain . Remember , he was the shortest reigning World Heavyweight Champion nine years ago . He wants a new start here in IWA and Ric Flair stands in his way as a 3 time World Heavyweight Champion . Let’s go to the ring.
IWA World Heavyweight Title Ric Flair (C ) vs Magnum TA : The two men lock up collar and elbow . Magnum takes the champion over in a side headlock takedown . Flair reverses it into a head scissors. Magnum counters back into the headlock . Flair scoots to the ropes for the break . The ref is out of position off the break , Flair hits a low blow on Magnum and tosses him to the outside . Flair goes out after him . He he pulls Magnum to his feet and whips him into the railing . From there he smashes Magnum’s head into the ring apron and rolls him in the ring . Flair hits a knee drop across the forehead of Magnum . He covers and gets two .
Flair pulls Magnum to his feet and sets for a vertical Suplex, but Magnum counters into one of his own . Magnum now with a big body slam and then knee to the chest . He covers and gets two . Now both men are up . They exchange chops across the chest , which the crowd is marking out for big time. Flair with a kick to the gut and then a hip toss . But when he tries an elbow drop , Magnum moves and then hits a elbow drop of his own to the back of Flairs head . From there he hits a Bulldog and then covers 1……2…….Noooo! Flair kicks out and then rakes the eyes .
Flair now hits a rarely used Piledriver . Gordon tells us that this stalemate is causing the champion to use moves in his arsenal that he normally doesn’t . Flair covers and gets 1…..2……Nooooo ! Magnum has a foot on the ropes . Flair pulls Magnum up and then leans him over the ropes and chops him , the momentum of the move flips Magnum right over the top rope down to the plank they have down to secure the ring from sinking into the Wrigley Field grass . Flair goes out after his man and goes to pull him …..BELLY TO BELLY BY MAGNUM ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING !!!!
Magnum rolls the champion back in knocking he can’t win the title out there . He rolls Flair back in the ring . He gets in , both fist clenched. Flair is begging off , but no avail . He fires a hard right hand into the champion’s forehead . Followed by another and another . Flair is busted open now . Flair falls flat on his face . Magnum rolls him over and covers 1…….2……..Nooooo !!!! Flair kicks out . Magnum with a body slam and then goes for the Figure Four !!! Flair is in obvious pain being caught in his own hold . He’s yelling out , “ no “ , over and over again .
Flair twist and turns and scoots and finally finds the mercy of the ropes . Magnum breaks cleanly . Flair grabs him by the front of the trunks and hurls him into the turnbuckles . Now Flair stomps and kicks away on Magnum . He chokes him in the ropes always breaking just before five . Flair pulls Magnum up and chops the hell out of him . He then hits and Atomic Knee Drop !!! Now Flair sinks in the Figure Four !!! Magnum is fighting for all he’s worth . His shoulders keep touching the mat , barley missing a count of 3 several times .
The crowd gets behind him however , he now fights and starts to push himself up on his hands , then all of a sudden he reveres the Figure Four . Flair , now is the one fighting . He scratches and claws at the mat scooting his stomach until he gets to the ropes . Flair rolls to the outside . He lays on the ground looking up . The ref begins to count . Magnum realizing what’s going on , goes out and breaks the count . He rolls Flair back in . Flair knees Magnum in the face just as he gets up on the ring apron . Flair Suplexes Magnum back in . Now he goes for the Figure Four, but Magnum rolls it into a small package . He gets 1….2….Flair gets out of it !!!
Magnum is up first , Flair gets to his feet . Magnum hits the BELLY TO BELLY !!!! Magnum covers . The ref is counting . Why ? Flair’s feet hit the ref on the way down . Magnum goes to wake the ref up , Flair grabs the ring bell off the time keepers table and clocks Magnum in the back of the head with it . He slides it back out onto the table . Flair puts on the Figure Four and waits . The ref finally comes to and sees an unconscious Magnum figuring he passed out in the painful submission . The ref drops and counts to 3 .
Post match Flair keeps the hold on . The ref asking him to break . He refuses . Gordon remarks that Flair is going to break Magnum’s leg and Tommy Rich tells Gordon , “ No he ain’t !!! “
Rich runs down and drops an elbow on Flair . He pulls Flair off. Flair scoots to a corner and points at Rich . Arn , Tully and Owen come running down . Bob Armstrong, Jungle Boy and Jimmy Snuka come down . Now we have a stand off . Security gets it under control .
Gordon : Before we get to our final match tonight , Im being told that in two weeks on HBOMAX only , that there will be an 8 man tag team match on Blue Grass Rasslin. The Four Horsemen will go up against , Tommy Rich , Jimmy Snuka , Bob Armstrong and Jungle Boy. This will take place at 11 am at the Hollywood Casino and Hotel Ball Room in Lawrenceburg , Indiana for something called Brunch and Crunch . Ok it’s time for the lights out Dog Collar match .
When Hulk Hogan won the IWA World Heavyweight Title there was no bigger supporter of him than Brian Cage , but it seems over time jealousy grew within The Machine . When Hogan lost to Ric Flair , Cage’s animosity grew even more . Claiming Hulk Hogan was not the man who he thought he was . Thus began a bloody feud between the two men . Cage has dominated Hulk Hogan in this feud . Which leads us to this dog collar match . One way or another as Hulk Hogan put it , it ends here tonight .
This is a very dangerous match . So much so that neither Windy City Pro Wrestling or it’s governing body the International Wrestling Alliance can sanction it . Therefore this is officially not part of the show tonight . Unofficially these two men , bitter rivals settle it here one last time . As you saw behind me the Wrigley Field lights went out for a minute and are now back on . Windy City Pro Wrestling and The International Wrestling Alliance have just signaled that they are washing their hands of this match . There will be no ring music , no pyro or hoopla and no introductions . The competitors have now entered the ring and are being fastened down .
I will personally stay in the air and call this match , but now I must sign off . So for Freddy Miller, I’m Gordon Solie saying so long from the Windy City of Chicago and we will see you tomorrow night . And now Hulk Hogan vs Brian Cage the Dog Collar Match !
Lights Out Dog Collar Match: Brian Cage vs Hulk Hogan: The collars are around both men’s necks . Normally there is a feeling out process , but not here . These two bulls grab some chain in their hands and slug it out in a phone booth . Cage though tires of that rather quickly and kicks Hogan in the nuts . Cage now rakes the chain over the forehead of Hogan , busting him open . Cage wraps the chain around the neck and begins choking Hogan . But Hogan fights it off . He elbows Cage in the gut and then gets space and gets off a side slam ! Hogan now takes a handful of chain and just starts whipping Cage’s back with it . The crowd is going crazy .
Cage goes to the outside of the ring to get a breather and Hogan goes out after him . Cage finds a chair and tosses it , hitting Hogan right in the nose . Now Cage pulls on the chain making Hogan fly into the ring post . Cage ties Hogan up and beats on his back with the chair . Cage is yelling at Hogan , telling him he’s not a machine , he’s not even a man . He’s something less . Look how pathetic he is . Hogan is weakening more and more . Cage unties Hogan from the ring post . He grabs Hogan by what little hair he has and leads him over to the time keepers table .
He sets Hogan for a Powerbomb , but Hogan hits Cage with an uppercut ! It rocks Cage . Hogan now clotheslines Cag with the chain and then picks him up and Bodyslams him through the time keepers table !!! Hogan grabs up Cage and rolls him in the ring . Hogan now rolls up the chain in his hand and unloads punch after , punch , after punch , after punch , across the forehead of Cage . Cage is busted open now . Hogan goes for the leg drop , but Cage moves !!!!
Cage now chokes Hogan with chain , with kind of a makeshift sleeper added . Hogan is fighting for all he’s worth , but seems to be fading more and more . Hogan’s body goes limp . The ref checks the arm , it falls once , the ref checks again , it falls twice , the ref checks one more time , Hogan gets a finger in the air and waves it back and forth. . Hogan on his feet . Chokeslam on Cage !!! Hogan now waits and rolls the chain around his forearm . Cage gets to his feet ….. ACE BOMBER WITH THE CHAIN !!!!! Hogan covers and gets 1…..2 ……3 !!!!
Gordon ; And that’s all she wrote . The final battle between these two men is over . Good night everybody see you tomorrow night .
