MICHAEL COLE runs down the show saying that there will be TWO WWF debuts tonight as well as the FINAL FOUR to determine who will face each other next week to crown the first WWF TV Champion!
MATCH # 1-RIKISHI vs ROB CONWAY
RIKISHI has the crowd in awe as the big man is making his debut here !
CONWAY is no small guy but he is no match for the big samoan!
After some early back and forth action,RIKISHI ets the upper hand and after a devastating body slam,he climbs to the second rope and hits a big leg drop on CONWAY !
The three count is a mere formality as RIKISHI makes a very impressive debut and the fans seem solidly behind him!
MATCH # 2- FINAL FOUR TV Title Tournament Match
SAMOA JOE vs DR. D DAVID SHULTZ
SHULTZ is on fire tonight and after absorbing some of the power of the big Samoan, SHULTZ uses shortcuts,fists and whatever tactics it takes to get the advantage !
After hitting JOE with two top rope fist drops,SHULTZ shocks the crowd by executing a piledriver on the big guy and getting a very surprising win !
SHULTZ advances to the finals of the TV Title tournament!
MATCH # 3- SABU vs STEVE LOMBARDI
The wildman lives up to his name here as he just demolishes LOMBARDI,eventually hitting a moonsault to get an easy pin fall win in his debut match !
Of note : During this match, KEVIN SULLIVAN and BUZZ SAWYER make their way down to ringside to observe the debuting SABU!
MATCH # 4- FINAL FOUR TV Title Tournament match
OLE ANDERSON vs SHANE DOUGLAS
This match is a definite clash of styles but both men are giving it as well as they are taking it!
SHANE hits OLE with a belly to belly but OLE kicks out at two !
As SHANE goes to pick OLE up,OLE gets a small package on SHANE and rolls him up for a shocking three cont!
What the ref failed to see was OLE holding onto the bottom rope fr leverage and preventing SHANE from kicking out !
OLE advances to the finals!
