BelAir joins Kevin Kelly at the podium and she’s not in a good mood .... First off she wants to congratulate Rhea for winning the Queen of the Ring .... BUUTTTTT .... it took 2 people to eliminate her from the match, and one of them wasn’t Rhea .... the last time they were in the ring together she beat Rhea, so that means the next time they step in the ring together she will beat her again .... she’s the Internet champion so she’s the automatic #1 contender anyway ....
Tegan Nox comes out and interrupts .... Nox puts BelAir over and says she has been on a roll, but so has Tegan .... Rhea may not have eliminated her in the Queen of the Ring, but Tegan DID! And on top of that she pinned Shayna Baszler on live TV .... she says a #1 contender to anything should have to earn it, and she thinks she’s earned a shot at BelAir .... BelAir says ‘Naw Guuuurl, Uh Uh .... she got a fluke win but BelAir is the EST .... Tegan says ‘let’s find out’ but BelAir shoves Nox! Nox goes after BelAir but Kevin Kelly gets between the ladies to keep some order .... Bianca slips off twirling her hair and popping her gum .... ‘Samoan Werewolf’ Jacob Fatu w/MVP (SAMOA) [1-0]

MVP cuts a promo on Drew McIntyre and says he is bringing the Samoan Werewolf with him to the next TV tapings ....Progress’ new online correspondent Gia Miller is here with a thisisprogress.com update ....
Gia talks about the upcoming Cruiserweight Classic tournament and announces the format .... It will be held in Blocks similar to the X-1 Climax with the winners of both blocks facing off for the title .... She announces that new Progress signee ‘Hangman’ Adam Page has been added to Block B .... 3 more spots are left ....

Kyle O’Reilley comes out and calls out EC3 .... he says last week Roderick Strong cost him a shot at the Atlas title again .... He says he wants him out of his life and wants to finish things in a cage fight! EC3 comes out and wants to hear O’Reilleys grievance .... ‘A cage? Hell Yeah! That has ratings written all over it! Consider it done!’ ’Drew Gulak (UNITED STATES) [0-0]

‘Hangman’ Adam Page (UNITED STATES) [0-0]Fresh off his announcement as being added to Block A of the Cruiserweight Classic, Page turns in a great performance here .... it is a good back and forth contest, but Page looks really strong against the technician Gulak .... Kelly continues to put Page over as a breakout star, and he pins Gulak following the Rite of Passage .... Both men shake hands afterwards .... Lauren Brooke recaps the announcement EC3 made last week about win-loss records .... Next week, Progress will introduce a rankings system based on those win-loss records ....

We also get a recap of the feud between Johnny Gargano and the Grizzled Young Veterans, which began with what was considered a sign of disrespect and has now escalated to involve Imperium also, and ended with the Vets laying out Johnny’s wife, Candice LeRae .... Gargano challenged Gibson to a match to earn a tag title shot but, instead of Johnny, Gibson demanded the match be against Candice instead .... Now we have a triple threat match and if Gibson wins, the Vets don’t have to defend against either team, if Barthel wins, Imperium gets a one on one match with the Vets, but if Candice wins it will become a historical triple threat as Candice & Johnny get added to the tag title match making it a triple threat! Zack Gibson (GREAT BRITAIN) [0-0]Gibson comes down to the ring and jaws with Johnny, but Candice takes advantage of the distraction AND FLIES OUT WITH A SUICIDE DIVE INTO A TORNADO DDT!!!! Candice gets right in Barthel’s face, but it looks like he is hesitant to hit her .... Candice fires off some forearm shots! Barthel misses a clothesline and Candice takes him down with a tilt a whirl headscissors! Candice runs wild, but Gibson is back in and runs through Candice with a clothesline, which gets heavy boos from the crowd .... Gibson powerbombs Candice on top of Barthel, and now Candice is getting thrown around and it’s hard for Johnny to watch .... Gibson keeps taunting him, but Candice rallies and hits the ball-plex on Gibson .... Candice with a Violence Party to Barthel! Gibson grabs her and hits Ticket to Ride! 1 ... 2 ... Johnny Gargano grabs the ref and pulls him out! Aichner is over to attack Johnny and now Drake is involved too! Gibson goes up top and is going to dive out on everyone but Candice stops him with a low blow! CANDICE WITH A HURICANRANA TO GIBSON OFF THE TOP TO THE FLOOR OUTSIDE ON TOP OF EVERYONE!!!! Holy shit!!!! Johnny, Drake, Aichner, Gibson, Barthel and the ref are all down! Candice tosses Barthel into the ring, but Johnny is up too and comes in with a Slingshot DDT to Barthel!!!! Johnny immediately wipes out Drake and Aichner with a suicide dive as Candice covers Barthel! Johnny tosses the ref in and he counts the 1 ... 2 ... 3!!!! She did it!!!! Gibson & Drake are furious as Johnny and Candice escape into the crowd .... The tag title match will now be a triple threat match including the Garganos next week!!!! | |
