 | ‘Hello fans and welcome to Progress on YouTube! I'm your host Kevin Kelly and we are coming to you live from the Electric Ballroom in London. We are fast approaching summer time and you know what that means: the Great (American) Bash .... we are one week away from the Cruiserweight Classic and in our main event tonight we will see all 8 men from the classic competing in an 8 man tag .... but up first, let’s bring out the brand new Progress tag team champions, Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae, after their history-making win!!!! .... |
Johnny & Candice come out to a tremendous ovation .... not only the first inter-gender team to win a title, but the first husband-wife team to do it also .... Johnny cuts a promo about how the Vets started all this by attacking him, then they put their hands on Candice .... as a husband he wants to protect his wife, but they’ve got each other’s back and there was no way he was keeping her away from this .... and now they have made history and are the tag team champions!
The Briscoes interrupt .... they give Candice respect for not wanting to be treated different and for fighting .... but they are the baddest tag team around and they have sat back week after week and watched everyone else get their shot .... they aren’t out here to bitch, they are just out here to lay out a challenge .... Candice accepts the challenge and says they would gladly make their first defense against the Briscoes ....
This brings out the former champions, Grizzled Young Vets .... They say no one needs to be out here making matches without their names being involved .... the tag titles were stolen from them because they didn’t even lose the match .... Imperium are the ones that lost their belts .... the Briscoes don’t get the jump in line because they want their belts back ....
Out comes EC3 .... simple fix to this problem .... tonight we will have Briscoes vs Grizzled Young Vets and the winner can fight Johnny & Candice on Progress TV .... Jay & Mark are cool with this, Drake & Gibson are not .... but we’ve got our main event ....

Out comes Jinny Couture .... Jinny days only one woman has an undefeated record so far and that’s her .... She accuses BelAir of being the one that is running .... Jinny and Nox talk back and forth, which ends up breaking down into a brawl that has to be separated as Belair watches on and laughs ....Progress’ new online correspondent Gia Miller is here with a thisisprogress.com update ....
This segment hyped the women’s title match this week between Rhea Ripley and Tessa Blanchard .... we get comments from both Tessa and Rhea about the match and it is put over as having a real ‘big fight’ feel to it ....8 MAN TAG MATCH:

We get a promo from Karrion Kross, intercut with shots of him bludgeoning Shawn Michaels with a taped fist on the last episode of Progress ....
Kross: ‘Fear is a funny thing .... fear was meant for the art of survival .... but somewhere along the course of history men began to believe that fear was something to be embarrassed about .... that made their pride and ego fragile .... there is a big difference between courage and intelligence .... the big question everyone was asking is ‘why’? The answer is simply why not? .... but that wasn’t enough for some people .... they want continuity or some nicely framed narrative .... but there isn’t, there is only mayhem .... I would encourage people like Shawn Michaels to exercise a little fear in these circumstances.... I am going to turn this place upside down and dive bomb it on its head .... and then see where the pieces fall .... because I am the new beginning .... tick tock
