Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 12: Dead Men Tell No Tales

We go live to a shot of the crowd at Bethnal Green as RPW is live in Greater London at York Hall .... ARE YOU READY FOR A REVOLUTION!!!!





Renee Young is in the ring to welcome the fans to the show .... Tonight's main event is Tye Dillinger vs Jimmy Havoc in a death match, plus Fighting Spirit champion Marty Scurll will compete in a 'Proving Ground' match ....

Speaking of Fighting Spirit Champion Marty Scurll, 'MACHINE GUN' by Portishead hits and he comes out to the ring .... Scurll is not happy .... he feels disrespected because Finley got Zack Sabre Jr a Junior title shot instead of him .... Scurll says he's the man in RPW .... Zack Sabre Jr can't hold a candle to him and that's why he lost the last time they were in the ring ....

This brings out Zack Sabre Jr to a monster pop .... ZSJ says as soon as he gets his shot, he's going to take the belt from Scurll .... Its looks like they might go at it, but Scurll just backs away and leaves the ring ....


*We get the disclaimer about how RPW has a 'Code of Honor' similar to RING OF HONOR where opponents show respect with a handshake to begin the match .... sportsmanship is encouraged in all matches .... outside the ring has 20 count to get back in the ring instead of the standard 10 seconds*


Tag Team Match:
Premier Athlete Brand (Cedric Alexander & Tony Nese) w/ Laurel Van Ness --- USA
- vs -
British Strong Style (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) w/ Pete Dunne --- UK

This is a rematch from Chapter 11, where Premier Athlete Brand won the match by using the tights .... British Strong Style are out for revenge here and they get it in a good tag team contest of 2 teams on the rise .... BSS overcomes the shenanigans of Van Ness and get the win when Trent Seven pins Nese following the 'Seven Stars lariat' (rainmaker) ....




PRE-TAPED SEGMENT ---- Winter confront Paige backstage and talks about how she admires her and has been watching her .... very stalker-like .... you can tell this makes Paige uneasy and she tells Winter to just stay away from her ....


Singles Match:
Adrian Neville (UK)
- vs -
Matt Riddle (USA)

Riddle is one of Wrestlings rising stars, and the British fans treat him like a big deal when he comes out to the ring .... Riddle is the replacement for Eli Drake in this match .... it's Riddles wrestling and striking ability vs Nevilles high flying and these two tear it up .... Neville has to break out all his best high-flying moves and even then he fails to put Riddle away .... this starts to get inside Nevilles head a little bit and he starts to doubt himself and it shows .... Neville goes for the Red Arrow but Riddle catches him as he comes down .... mount by Riddle and he rains down elbows on Neville and then locks in the 'Bro-mission' (twister lock)!  Neville holds on but just for a moment and he has no choice but to tap out!  






Riddle plays to the crowd, who absolutely LOVE him while Neville is dejected in the ring .... he glares at Riddle with a look of pure hatred ....


IN-RING SEGMENT ---- Knockout Champion Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch comes out and cuts a promo on Rosemary attacking her at Shimmer 1 and blinding her with mist  .... She says she's standing right in the middle of the ring and wants to know if Rosemary wants to try it again .... she says she's the Irish lass kicker and she is going to kick Rosemary's ass .... LIGHTS GO OUT!  

A spotlight shines in the crowd and we see Crazzie Steve and Abyss, but Rosemary isn't with them .... the lights come back on and Rosemary is right behind Lynch!!!!  She nails Becky from behind and tosses her to the floor .... she scoops her up and hits the Red Wedding (F-5) into the ring post!!!!  Lynch is clutching her knee after it went into the post and Sasha Banks runs out to make the save for Becky!  Rosemary backs away as Banks checks on the injured Becky Lynch ....  


4 corner survival Match:
'Bruiserweight' Pete Dunne (UK)
- vs -
Tyson Kidd (CANADA)
- vs -
James Gibson (USA)
- vs -
CJ Parker (USA)

This spotlights the newcomers to RPW recently .... CJ Parker has a flower child/ eco warrior gimmick and he comes to the ring carrying signs that are pro-environmental .... James Gibson is doing his 'country boy can survive' gimmick which instantly gets him heat with the crowd .... the most 'over' guy in the match is Pete Dunne .... Tyson Kidd is probably the most impressive though, showing a mix of mat style and high-flying ....

During the match, the Premier Athlete Brand comes out and attacks Pete Dunne, continuing what happened earlier with the Brand and British Strong Style .... this allows Tyson Kidd to hit the springboard elbow drop on Dunne, but Parker pulls Kidd out of the ring .... Gibson cleans up the scraps and hits the Gibson Driver on Dunne to pick up the pin ....


IN THE LOCKER ROOM ---- We are shown a segment taped in the locker room where Fighting Spirit champion Marty Scurll confronts Adrian Neville after his loss earlier tonight .... Scurll flaunts the Fighting Spirit title and tells Neville he will never be able to challenge for the title as long as he is champion and that's going to be a loooooong time .... it may very well be forever .... he suggests that Neville go find a partner and go after the RPW tag titles because he won't ever be a singles champion in RPW .... not unless he makes a change ....


Womens Match:
Paige (UK)
- vs -
Peyton Royce w/ Billie Kay (NEW ZEALAND)

Winter comes out and watches the match but doesn't get involved, even when Billie Kay interferes .... Kay's interference leads to Royce picking up the upset win after hitting the 'Venus Flytrap' (leg sweep DDT) ....

After the match Winter just looks on and shakes her head at Paige ....

'Fighting Spirit' champion Marty Scurll comes out and cuts a promo about the 'Proving Ground' .... he says he will fight anyone but no one off the streets are good enough to challenge him for the Fighting Spirit title .... he calls out his opponent and is surprised when out comes ....



Proving Ground Match:
(Fighting Spirit Champion) 'The Villain' Marty Scurll (UK)
- vs -
'Diehard' Eddie Edwards (USA)

The ring announcer gives the audience a refresher on the rules for Fighting Spirit matches as the introductions are made ....

- Three 3 minute rounds, with title matches going to 5 minute rounds
- 10 point must system

- Judging categories: Physicality, aggressiveness, controlling the action

- Wins can happen anytime via pin or submission

- If there is no winner after three rounds, a winner is decided by judge's decision

This contest goes to the 3rd round, with the unofficial scorecard showing each man having won a round .... we are tied 1-1 when there is a ref bump .... Scurll goes after his trademark umbrella and tries to use it on Edwards, but his partner Davey Richards comes out and stops Scurll .... this allows Edwards to score with the 'Boston Knee Party' out of nowhere for the 3 count!!!!

The fans, and especially Marty Scurll, are in shock!  Eddie Edwards earns himself a future title shot at the Fighting Spirit title at a time of his choosing ....

Death Match:
'Perfect 10' Tye Dillinger (USA)
- vs -
Jimmy Havoc w/ Rosemary (UK)

Dillinger shows a complete new side, matching Havoc's sadistic nature in these matches .... Dillinger wears out Havoc with a chair, but Havoc goes under the ring and gets a staple gun .... several staples to the head and Dillinger is bleeding .... Havoc brings in light tubes but Dillinger turns the tables and smashes them over Havocs head and now he's bloody too!  Dillinger stacks several chairs on top of each other and hits a Death Valley driver onto the chairs!  Havoc brings in thumbtacks and pours them on the mat before power-bombing Dillinger into them .... Dillinger gets a handful of tacks and puts them in Havocs mouth, then superkicks the shit out of him and sends tacks flying everywhere .... Dillinger goes for the 'Tye Breaker' but doesn't see that Havoc has the stapler .... he staples Dillinger in the eye!!!!  Havoc slips behind and drills him with the Acid Rainmaker!  1 ... 2 ... 3!  


Both guys have to be helped out by trainers and staff and the fans give them a standing ovation for the war they just went through ....
