Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 9: Meanwhile, Across the Pond 9636A8A6-174F-4A24-9BB9-67B239BD2803_zpsl9helqag

INTRODUCTION

Renee Young, the voice of RPW, is here to start us off ....

GUEST COMMENTARY: JAY LETHAL

Once again Lethal is on commentary, still nursing the sprained AC joint injury he suffered at Battle of Britain .... Tonight we have the qualifying matches for the 'High Stakes' men's Fatal 4 way, plus in the main event it will be The Project vs Decay in a tag team war!

*RPW has a 'Code of Honor' similar to RING OF HONOR where opponents show respect with a handshake to begin the match .... sportsmanship is encouraged in all matches .... outside the ring has 20 count to get back in the ring instead of the standard 10 seconds*

Women's match:
Winter (UK)
- vs -
Hannah Blossom (UK)

We get the show started with the in-ring debut of Katie Lea, now using the gimmick of 'Winter' .... with Paul Burchill and Bram both gone from RPW, Winter is on her own .... she has a successful debut here, pinning Blossom after the 'Ice Breaker' (swinging side slam backbreaker)

INTERVIEW - Tye Dillinger talks .... He says he came up just short last week but this week he's got another chance and this time he's going to make good on it .... RPW needs a champion that's a 'Perfect 10' ....

Jimmy Havoc and Rosemary interrupt .... Havoc asks how many chances Dillinger is going to get? .... Havoc has had to scrape and claw and fight the GM just to have a job here, while Dillinger has been handed opportunity after opportunity .... Dillinger says he hasn't been given anything, he earns everything he gets in that ring and tonight he's going to earn it again .... Havoc and Dillinger get nose to nose, but Crazzie Steve nails Dillinger from behind .... they put the boots to him and then walk away ....

'High Stakes' qualifying match:
Adrian Neville (UK)
- vs -
Tye Dillinger (USA)

Dillinger's music hits but he doesn't come out .... Neville shows some subtle heel tendencies here, ordering the ref to count Dillinger out .... The ref starts the count, but this time Dillinger's music hits again and he comes out limping!  Dillinger is already in bad shape from the attack backstage, but when the ref tries to check on him Neville just attacks anyway .... Neville hits a few big moves but Dillinger keeps kicking out!  He starts to get discouraged in the match, and the announcers comment on how he's losing confidence .... Dillinger comes back, but Neville misses a Phoenix splash and comes up acting like his knee is hurt .... Dillinger pauses for just a moment and that is enough to break the momentum and Neville gets a sneaky roll up for the 3 count!  Neville qualifies for the High Stakes 4 way ....

Neville's antics continue to play on the fact that Marty Scurll insists he can't win being a 'nice guy' and playing by the rules ....

'High Stakes' qualifying match:
Eli Drake (USA)
- vs -
Hideo Itami (JAPAN )

Drake takes some time to address the crowd and Hideo Itami before the match .... 'LET ME TALK TO YA!' .... Drake talks in a fake English accent and claims to still be the top draw around here .... Hideo Itami wins the match following the Busaiku flying knee to qualify for 'High Stakes' ....

PROMO - we get words from Truth Martini .... standing behind him are the Authors of Pain .... Martini puts himself over first, then his 'Book of Truth' .... he says that his new team, the Authors of Pain, have written the last chapter in the Book of Truth .... and they will write the last chapter in RPW's tag team division ....

'BROKEN DREAMS' by Downstait hits and out comes Drew McIntyre .... McIntyre calls himself the 'Last King of Scotland' and says if not for a a referees taking a decision into his own hands he would already be the Fighting Spirit champion .... he was supposed to face Jay Lethal tonight but Lethal is a coward and knows that he dominated him at the Battle of Britain and he doesn't want to face him .... Lethal stands up at the announce table and takes off his headset but Renee grabs his arm and tries to calm him down .... McIntyre tells the ref to do his job and start his 10 count and award him the match .... this brings out Finlay!  He says that's not how we do things in RPW .... Mcintyre doesn't justs get a free pass .... Finlay has found a replacement for Jay Lethal ....

TOMMY END!  The crowd damn near explodes into a chant of 'Tommy! Tommy! Tommy fucking End!'

'High Stakes' qualifying match:
'Last King of Scotland' Drew McIntyre (SCOTLAND)
- vs -
'The Anti-Hero' Tommy End (NETHERLANDS)

The crowd is MOLTEN for Tommy End .... he attacks the head of McIntyre with innovative striking offense, but McIntyre hits a 2nd rope air raid crash to regain the advantage .... McIntyre goes for the future shock ddt but End escapes and then hits a leaping bicycle knee strike to the head of McIntyre!!!!  It's a KO as McIntyre crumbles to the mat!  He immediately tries to get to his feet, but his legs are all wobbly and he is glassy-eyed .... the ref waves the match off and rules he can't defend himself .... Tommy End advances via ref stoppage ....

What a debut for Tommy End!  Meanwhile, McIntyre is FURIOUS after the match and the ref hightails it to the back .... McIntyre destroys some stuff at the timekeepers table in his anger ....

IN-RING SEGMENT

Caprice Coleman comes out to the ring and demands that Cedric Alexander come out and face him .... he goes over their partnership and how they broke in together, but Alexander threw all that away when he bailed on him .... the half-hearted apologies aren't going to work this time ....

Alexander comes out and seems apologetic at first, but then turns into a cocky prick .... he says he made a 'business decision' last week and he had to 'protect his 'brand' because no one else will .... he's been talking to someone that has smartened him up and encouraged him to lose the dead weight .... he's the star, and C&C is officially DONE!  Alexander walks off but Coleman grabs him and tells him not to turn his back on him .... Alexander spins around and drills Coleman with an enziguri!  Alexander sneers down at Coleman, then picks him up and drills him with the lumbar check!  Alexander leaves Coleman laid out in the ring ....

Tag Team Match:
The Project (Tommasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) --- (USA)
- vs -
Decay (Abyss & Crazzie Steve) w/ Rosemary --- UNKOWN

Rosemary gets involved in the match, using the red mist to blind Johnny Gargano while he has Steve trapped in the Gargano-escape .... Gargano is blinded, and he falls victim to the black hole slam from Abyss for the pin ....

'High Stakes' qualifying match:
Zack Sabre Jr (UK)
- vs -
Jimmy Havoc w/ Rosemary & Decay (UK)

Big fight feel here .... the crowd HATES Havoc and loves Sabre Jr, who hasn't done much to capitalize on his victory in the round robin challenge at Chapter 2 .... Still, Sabre Jr is one of the greatest technicians on the planet while Havoc is just crazy .... back and forth they go for nearly 20 minutes and surprisingly no interference from Decay .... Sabre Jr gets the cross armbreaker on Havoc late in the match, but Rosemary distracts the ref .... Havoc taps out but the ref doesn't see it .... Abyss comes in and choke slams Sabre Jr, but when Havoc covers he kicks out at 2!!!!  Tye Dillinger runs out with a chair and attacks Decay!  Havoc goes after Dillinger, which allows Sabre Jr to grab him from behind and hit a regal plex for the 3 count!!!!

Sabre Jr becomes the last man to qualify for High Stakes!  An incensed Jimmy Havoc tries to get back in the ring but Dillinger and Sabre Jr both have chairs and hold Decay off .... the show ends with Sabre Jr celebrating ....

CHAPTER 10: 'HIGH STAKES'
