Npw what a lot of people are failing to take into account is what frame of mind are the stars of the UWF in as regardless of what happens here tonight that their promotion's life is literally on the line tomorrow night as they face Progress ion a winner take all event!! This has got to be on the minds of the men from the UWF and i wonder how that will play into tonight's match ups! Well let's go up to the ring and find out !"
1st Match: NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion- CHRIS JERICHO vs Brian Pillman!
Pillman takes the fight to the champ at first and catches JERICHO by surprise as for the first several minutes, Pillman tosses the champ around with arm drags and after hitting a leapfrog over the champ as he was trying to hot a back body drop,Pillman rebounds and hits a picture perfect dropkick that sends the champ outside to the floor ! As a pissed off JERICHO gathers his thoughts, the crowd is loving it!
The action returns to the ring and a low blow by the champ earns him an advantage for the next several minutes as he uses his normal bag of tricks to keep Pillman grounded!
A reversed whip into the corner ,follewd by a back body drop has Pillman take over as the champ begs off!
Pillman slams the champ and follows up with a double axe handle from the second rope!
A dazed JERICHO stumbles around as the fans cheer as Pillman climbs to the top rope! Pillman flies off toward JERICHOwho's instincts take over and ducks at the last secomd whuch cayses Pillman to hit the canvas hard!
JERICHO takes this opportunity to apply the Walls of Jericho and after struggling for aboit 30 seconds, Pillman finally submits!

2nd Match:KAMALA vs SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM
Akbar leads his charge to the ring and SBG goes right at the Ugandan in hopes of catching him by surprise! Ofc a few of Kamala's big chops pit and end to that ! A stunned SNG then spends the next several minures suffering the agony of a nerve hold on him courtesy of the african AS he squezzes hard down on the former SECW tv champ!
The crowd gets behind GRAHAM who reaches to his feet and after some clubbing rights, breaks free! Kamla is reeling as GRAHAN bounds of the ropes several times before falling the ygandan who hits the mat!
SBG then stops Akbar from interfering as he hits him as he tries to enter the ring and falls to the floor!
Kamal goes over and looks down at Akbar laying on the floor but as he is distracted, SBG hits him from behind with a running knee to the back...Kamala falls onto the mat and GRAHAM covers, grabs the leg and gets the win!
THATCHER:" Well that was a helluva battle and GRAHAM pulled it out as Kamal was distracted by his manager on the arena floor and GRAHAM took advantage!?
3rd Match: SECW TV Champion- DON MURACO vs LEX LUGER
MURACO and LUGER start fast and never slow down as both men seem to be at their peak! Luger has the strength advantage but not by much! MURACO near the end tries to hit Luger with the tombstone but Lex backdrops him and whenn DON turns around he is put in the torture rack! MURACO tries to free himself but to no avail and has no choice butb to submit!
The stunned crowd boos loudly as Lex flexes before exiying the ring!
THATCHER:" Well there's one focused man as Lex Luger seems primed and ready for the war tomorrow night! Now up next is gonna be a toss up in my opinion as we go to the ring!"
4th Match: RICK RUDE w/ PERCY PRINGLE vs STING
These powerhouses go at it head on here and RUDE, with some timely distraction from PERCY gets the jump on STING for the most part. However in the end, STING reverses a whip into the ropes that causes RUDE to collide with PERCY which stuns RUDE who is then whipped into the corner and hit with the Stinger Splash!
RUDE tumbles onto the canvas and STING clamps on the scorpion death locj! RUDE fades and before the ref can call for a submission win, PERCY jumps in and hits Sting and the ref signals for the bell dqing PERCY for his interference!
An angry Sting then whips PERCY into the corner and crushes him with the STinger Splash ! Sting yells to the crowd who is going nuts for this before he leaves the ring as both RUDE and PERCY are left laying!
THATCHER:" Well,if anyone didntknj0ow just how damn good the man they call Sting is, well he just showed everyone!!"
5th Match: SECW Heavyweight Champion - RIC FLAIR vs Barry Windham
FLAIR is out to prove he can wrestle with the best of him and for the next 20 minutes these two go back and forth with a fairly scientific display ! However near the end Windham is getting the best of FLAIR, even reversing the figure four but eventually FLAIR catches Barry in a sunset flip and with the help of the nearby ropes FLAIR gets the tainted pin!
THATCHER:" Well they dont call FLAIR the dirtiest player in the for nothing! But i can guarantee you that this next matchup is gonna be the exact opposite!"
6th Match: BRUISER BRODY vs ABDULLAH the Butcher w/Gary Hart
Theses two meet in the aisle and start fighting all over the place and the fans scatter as they just beat the hell outta each other ! Hart has no control over Abby and BRODY loves this type of shit! The brawl has both men bloody and the action never stops ! Unfortunately this never makes it to the ring and the ref has no choice but to finally count both men out!
THATCHER:" Bloody as advertised and i think those two are still fighting in the back!"
7th MatchUWF Heavyweight Champion- Kerry VonErich vs ONE MAN GANG w/ SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK!
KERRY has trouble from the outset with just the sheer size and mass of OMG and the big guy tales it to Kerry!
SOH is smiling at ringside as his man is putting on a show! OMG goes for the 747 splash but somehow Kerry has the gumption to move outta the way and after OMG hits the mat and staggers up, Kerry shocks everyone by actually bodyslamming the GANG!
OMG again staggers up on;ly to be met by not one but two discus punches which puts the big man down and Kerry covers and gets the pin as SOH ttries to run in to interfere but trips over the bottom rope as he enters the ring!
THATCHER:" Fans ,i know that lately the VonErich name has been tarnished as of late but Kerry has shown that he is his own man and he just accomplished the slam heard round the world and beat aman that has rarely tasted defeat!
Now up next is our main event as NWA World Tag Team Champions-TERRY GORSY...MICHAEL HAYES- The FABULOUS FREEBIRDS face thge tandem of BLACKJACK MULLIGAN and The American Dream...DUSTY RHODES!!
MAIN EVENT
FOR THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE FABULOYS FREEBIRDS vs DUSTRY RHODES AND BLACKJACK MULLIGAN
The FREEBIRDS are anything but fabulous as the brawn of MULLIGAN and the shuckin and jivin of RHODES dominate from the outset! But the BIRDS arent the champs by letting a little adversity stop them ! By any means needed,they fight their way back into this and cheat their way back into this fight!
DUSTY and Gordy take the fight to the outside while the legal men, BJM and Hayes battle it ouit in the ring ! MULLIGAN applies the claw but the ref is preoccupied in tryting to break up the fight ion the outside ! This gives Buddy Roberts a chance to come down to the fracas and enter the ring! He clobbers BJM from behind with a chain, grans Hayes and drags him on top of MULLIGAN! Ref Mike Smith makes the three count, not seeing Robert's interfernece and the Freebirds retain their world tag titles!
Post match all three Freebirds beat down DUSTY and MULLIGAN in the ring!
The crowd buzzes and gets on their feet as Crusher Blackwell and Ken Patera run down and jump in and clear the ring and the Birds make a hasty retreat!
The show ends as Blackwell AND pATERA STARE DOWN THE CHAMPS A STHE HEAD BACK TO THE SAFETY OF THE DRESSING ROOM!
