I hear all the critics! They say Adam Cole is out of his league against guys like The Rock.....Mr. Perfect ..... and Razor Ramon. I guess they didn't know that I've made a career out of beating the very best in this sport! Isn't that right HBK? Those same critics say that Adam Cole can't win the big one on his own. And I say to those same critics..... leave your Mom's basement..... go buy a ticket to Saturday Nights Main Event...... and get a up close look at me once again proving your asses wrong! I don't need The Young Bucks! And I damn sure don't need your opinion. Your looking at the next NWA National champion....... Adam Cole!!!!"

Match Two: The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli for the Progress Tag Team titles
Moxley and Claudio come through the crowd and it’s a brawl to start and they fight into the crowd with the Bucks being sent into a variety of hard objects. Nick comes back in to jump Castagnoli and the bell rings. Castagnoli backdrops Nick and a double clothesline puts him down again. Moxley comes in so Matt yells, allowing Moxley to do the fake tag to another big reaction. Claudio STO’s Nick for two but a Matt distraction allows a poke to the eye. Matt dropkicks Moxley through the ropes and it’s a Cannonball/enziguri combination to Castagnoli. A double back elbow lets Nick do the Macho Man finger point but Castagnoli catches him in a hot shot.
Matt sends Moxley into the barricade and some running clotheslines have Castagnoli knocked into the corner. Ten right hands go down but Claudio is back with an exploder suplex. That’s enough for the hot tag off to Moxley and house is cleaned, including a piledriver for two on Nick. Nick has to break up a bulldog choke as everything breaks down again.
Matt uses the distraction to take down Moxley with a superkick to the head for two. Moxley is busted open and an Indytaker on the ramp knocks him silly again. Back in and Moxley gets kicked down as The Bucks go demolish Moxley, who counters an attempt at a Shield powerbomb. Moxley hammers away and the hot tag brings in Claudio to clean house. Nick’s right hands to Castagnoli just make him glare back and knock him down without much trouble.
A shot to the knee works a bit better on Claudio and an assisted Sliced Bread gets two. Castagnoli fights over and makes the hot tag to Moxley, who is immediately superkicked down. A 450 gets two but Castagnoli is back in. The referee yells at Matt and it’s a Doomsday Device to Nick. The Paradigm Shift to Matt is countered into a Sharpshooter but that’s broken up as well.
Now the Paradigm Shift can connect, 1......2...... with Nick making another diving save. Another double superkick to Moxley sends him into the ropes but he comes back with the double clothesline. The double superkick connects for two and a pair of superkicks (one to the knee and one to the face) drops Castagnoli. Back to back to back to back BTE Triggers drop Moxley. Matt covers, 1......2.......3! Your winners....... and NEW PROGRESS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS...... THE YOUNG BUCKS!!!!

Joey Styles: "The Bucks have done it! We have brand new Progress tag team champions! And you can...... what is this? Is that...... it is...... it's Dawn Marie!"
Dawn enters the ring and walks around the Bucks in a circle, taking her finger and running it down Matt's chest. Dawn then leans up against the ring ropes flirting with the Bucks and then..... .
Two men Rush the ring and attack The Bucks! It's Justin Credible and Lance Storm..... The Impact Players! They take the tag titles and nail both Matt and Nick with them. The Bucks are down and out. Storm and Credible take the Progress tag titles and put over their own shoulders.
Lance Storm: "If I could be serious for a moment......."
Justin Credible: "That's not just the coolest...... that's not just the best...... that's JUSTIN CREDIBLE!!!"
Renee Young: "Bizarre chain of events there as Dawn Marie has clearly led the Impact Players here to well..... pardon the pun..... make an impact. I'm joined now by the NWA Super Juniors champion.... Chris Jericho, who is just moments away from defending the title against El Generico!"
Chris Jericho: "Which really disappoints me..... because I thought Bryan Danielson was supposed to be the top guy around here. I mean hasn't Danielson ran his mouth off for several weeks asking for me? Well..... here I am! But nonetheless..... it doesn't matter who...... now what can I do for you? Let me guess..... you want a titke shot too?"
The cameras pans and we see...... Kevin Owens!
Kevin Owens: "Ya know something Jericho...... while that title would look great around my waist, I'm here for something you can do for me! Call it an added bonus if ya like. All ya gotta do is take that mask off Generico...... and that $50,000 bounty is all yours!"
Chris Jericho: "You do realize who your talking to right? I'm the Ayotollah of Rock..... and Rolla! $59,000 is pocket change to me junior! But.... if for some reason that mask may fall off during our match..... I will be looking you up after the match!"

Takeshita attempts another Backdrop Driver but Joe counters and cinches deeper on the Rear-Naked Choke, grapevining the body with his legs. Takeshita struggles for a moment then outside the ring Shinsuke has a towel......he's going to throw it in to save his protege! Just as Shinsuke is about to throw the towel in, Takeshita points at him, shaking his finger NO!!! The crowd erupts, but Joe is pissed! Joe releases the hold and begins yelling at Shinsuke........ Joey Styles: "Samoa Joe pounded on this young kid for damn near 15 minutes. But it was his obsession with Shinsuke Nakamura that cost him the match. And now the pupil will face the teacher for that Atlas title at BOLA! Fans, this Kenosuke Takeshita is the real deal but can he defeat his mentor next month?"

Ibushi fights out of a standing armbar but Omega hits back with chops and an elevated arm wrench. Then Omega follows with a over-the-shoulder armbreaker which he worsens by twisting Ibushi’s arm so that it’s more likely to snap as it crashes into his shoulder. He charges to the ropes…and runs into a lariat. Last Ride Powerbomb by Ibushi. Omega barely kicks out and then cuts Ibushi off as Ibushi climbs a turnbuckle. Then Omega lifts Ibushi onto his shoulders and lands another Croyt’s Wrath deadlift German but off the top rope this time. Ibushi lands on his head from the top rope but still has the power to kick-out at two.
Ibushi cuts Omega off on the top rope and teases a powerbomb. Omega resists and lifts Ibushi into a backward piledriver position but Ibushi falls to the mat instead and hits a handspring back kick. Desperate, Omega drives Ibushi’s face into the turnbuckle but Ibushi escapes…and jumps onto the top rope. Springboard hurricanrana from the top rope to the floor! Now the fans chant "MATCH OF THE YEAR!!"

Omega blocks another lariat but Ibushi turns that into a backflip kick. Ibushi charges for a lariat. Omega ducks and hits a northern lights suplex into a cross armbreaker. He hammers Ibushi’s hands to break his grip and locks the hold in fully. Walter catches him with a boot as the action spills back into the ring, and he puts Keith in a Boston Crab. Jonah tries to chop Walter out of that hold, and Walter HAS NONE OF IT and chops poor Jonah to the living death. Walter and Lee go at it with chops now, and they go WILD until Jonah intervenes with some chops of his own… only for Lee and Walter to team up and get him out so they can finish things off. Lee and Walter slug it out SOME MORE until Lee tries Ground Zero, but Walter tries to counter into a Sleeper. Jonah tries a Sleeper on Walter, but Lee pounces them both and HITS WALTER WITH THE SPIRIT BOMB! 1......3...... Walter kicks out. Jonah hits Lee with a Half Nelson Suplex, but Walter catches him standing up with a Sleeper, and later on a German Suplex. Lee tries Ground Zero on Jonah, but WALTER GERMANS THEM BOTH Lee and Walter chop Jonah down and fight it out, and Walter SHOTGUN DROPKICKS EVERYONE! Jonah low blows Walter and tries to Schoolboy him, but can’t get the win. He even low blows Keith Lee to get rid of him before hitting Walter with a Brainbuster. Jonah tries another low blow on Keith Lee, but eats Ground Zero… for 2! Keith heads for a moonsault, but Jonah intercepts him and Ligerbombs him for a two count of his own. Jonah heads up top now, but Walter boots him down and HEADS UP TOP! WALTER SPLASH! KEITH KICKS OUT AT ONE~! LARIAT FROM WALTER!!! 1......2....3!!! Walter is still your Progress Heavyweight champion!!!
Joey Styles: "What intensity from those three behemoths! Somehow, some way, Walter shows the preserverance to overcome the odds there and retains the Progress Heavyweight title! But speaking of intensity..... it's time for our Main Event! As we are about to find out, just who is...... The Best in the World!"

Justin Roberts: "Ladies and Gentlemen..... it is time for your main event of the evening! And at this time I would like to introduce your guest special referee...... CHRIS JERICHO!"
Both Punk and Danielson seem shocked by this announcement. Danielson is especially not happy with it. As Jericho gets in the ring, Danielson warns Jericho he better call this match straight down the middle!
Main Event: CM Punk vs Bryan Danielson
Aggressive tie uo that sends both men through the ropes to the floor. They have a little shoving match on the floor before re-entering the ring to go at it. Punk gives Danielson a cheap right hand then dives to the floor. Dragon responds by choking Punk over the ropes, sending Punk to the floor again. Jericho gets in Danielsons face and Danielsin tells Jericho "I HAVE UNTIL 5 TO BREAK!" Monkey flip from Danielson but Punk claims Dragon pulled the hair. Jericho polls the crowd who obviously deny Punk’s claim. Knucklelock allows Dragon to pull Punk down to his knees, then isolate Punk’s arm by slamming it against the canvas.
Punk again denies Danielson a clean break in the corner, then gives him a back body drop. Rear chinlock applied but Dragon quickly fights free and drops Punk with a knee to the stomach. Abdominal stretch on the mat from Danielson, complete with a nasty-looking head crank for good measure. Danielson looks for a leapfrog, but he gets caught in a slam from Punk. He goes for the split-legged moonsault, but Dragon gets the knees up and continues to work on Punk’s ribs with a duo of headbutts.
Mexican surfboard from Danielson…WITH A SICK FACELOCK! He is just tearing at Punk’s ribs and stomach with that. Dragon tries to go back to the abdominal stretch BUT PUNK BACK SUPLEXES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE FLOOR! On the outside Punk SPEARS Dragon into the crowd barrier. Punk goes back to the chinlock which will give him some respite from his injuries. Backbreaker from CM Punk gets him a 2 before Dragon grabs the ropes. Thumb to the eye from Punk, then a dropkick to the back of Danielson’s head. Danielson again tries to intimidate Jericho then gets punished by almost getting fast-counted for three when Punk rolls him up. Danielson blocks a suplex then front suplexes him over the top rope. Punk with a guillotine over the top rope, then hits a missile dropkick. Camel clutch as Punk applies some pressure to Danielson’s back, which he seems to have isolated.
Punk looks to drop his weight south over Danielson’s back, but he rolls and Punk goes crotch-first over Dragon’s knee. Punk looks for a powerbomb but Danielson counters and almost puts him away with pin. DIVING European uppercut from Danielson. AIRPLANE SPIN! That leaves him dizzy but he still hits the front slam then goes to the top rope to MISS the diving headbutt. Mule kick from Punk, but Danielson catches him...... CATTLE MUTILATION! Punk COUNTERS with an Unprettier. SHINING WIZARD SCORES FOR 2. Punk tries to haul Danielson to the top rope for the Pepsi Plunge. Danielson somehow avoids that and he stands poised on the rope to deliver a superplex. Punk goes for another Shining Wizard, but gets trapped in a Mexican roll up for 2. Dragon goes for a crucifix pun but gets caught in a Samoan drop. Devil Lock from Punk. Punk to the top rope again, flying elbow drop to Danielson but Punk came up selling a rib injury.
Danielson got up and nailed Punk with repeated knees to the ribs. Bryan went to the opposite corner and He went for a running dropkick in the corner, but Punk moved.
Danielson regained offensive control and applied the crossface. Danielson pulled on the Lock and ended up on his back with Punk still in the submission hold. Jericho drops down and begins tp count, 1......2......Punk taps out ....... 3!!!! Danielson acted as if he won the match, but the Jericho awarded the victory to Punk. Danielson was livid in the ring afterwards. Joey Styles said he didn't think Bryan realized that Jericho was counting or did Jericho intentionally ignore Punk tapping out?? Jericho leaves the ring smiling at Danielson looks on show fades to black.
