Gordon Solie : It’s summertime . There are big shows everywhere . WCW kicks off its summer tour tomorrow . But for us , we come to the homestretch tonight . Welcome to the Star Spangled Bash. And look here . A man pulling overtime tonight , my good friend Jim Ross from WCW is joining us . Jim welcome .
Jim : Gordon, it’s always a pleasure being here with the Dean of Pro Wrestling. Right now we have a Women’s American Tag Team Titles match .
Gordon : Indeed we do , let’s go to the ring . Jimmy Lennon Jr .
Jimmy Lennon Jr . Fans this is our opening contest and it is a tourney final for the American Tag Team Titles. First team number one . Sensational Sherri Martel and The Fabulous Heather Monroe. They are Sensationally Fabulous.
Their opponents , Jessie Jones . Amber O Neal ! The Bullet Babes !!!!
Amber and Heather start things off . Amber with a very fast arm drag takes Heather over and quickly tags Jessie . Jessie now works an armbar . She tags back off to Amber who hits an Anderson Slam on the arm and then tags off to Jessie .
Jessie hits a Bulldog , but gets to close to the corner and Sherri pulls her down by the back of her hair . While the ref is admonishing Sherri , Heather is using a nerve hold taught to her by Kabuki , when she was with Hart . She makes the tag to Sherri . Sherri chokes Jessie in the ropes , when Amber comes in it pulls the ref to her and Sherri and Heather double team Jessie .
The ref turns around and again sees Heather using a nerve hold . Jessie somehow falls into the ropes and then fires elbows to the gut of Heather . Jessie gets off a stunner . She rolls and makes the tag to Amber .
Amber blast Heather with a clotheslines and then picks her up … Spinebuster !!!! She covers 1…..2….. Sherri breaks it up . Sherri tosses Amber to the outside and she hits her head in the time keepers table . When she stumbles back Heather scores with a gut wrench sit out Powerbomb . She makes the tag to Sherri who hits a STO and then floats over to a Koji Clutch . Jessie tries to get back in and Heather cuts her off with a flying forearm that knocks her to the outside . Amber taps out .
Gordon : And there you have it . Sensationally Fabulous are your first American Tag Team Champions .
Jim Ross : Gordon , Heather Monroe is a well groomed wrestling machine being a former charge of Gary Hart and a student of Kabuki . Then you have Sherri who is a crafty veteran , can counter almost any hold and a former Women’s World Champion. Who can stop these two ?
Gordon : It will be a long time , Jim that’s for sure and right now it’s time for the Windy City Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship. Let’s go to the ring .
Windy City Women’s Championship Carmella ( C) vs Gail Kim : The two lock up collar and elbow , Gail slips behind and hits a release German Suplex . She follows it up with a dropkick and then clamps down on a headlock . Carmella counters out with an Atomic Knee Drop and then a variation of an STF . Gail gets to the ropes . Carmella hits her with a big running boot . She then drives both knees into Gail’s chest , she covers 1…..2……Nooooo Gail kicks out .
Gail gets to her feet , Gail with an enzuguri. Then goes up and hits a Missile Dropkick . Then a face buster !!! Gail hits Eat Defeat , but on the cover Carmella is in the ropes . Gail works a Cross Arm Breaker !!! Carmella gets to the ropes . Off the break Carmella hits a Frankensteiner and then follows it up with Code of Silence . Gail has nowhere to go out to tap out .
Jim : And the Staten Island Princess does it again .
Gordon : Week after week she turns heads . She’s making a lot of those ladies in the top ten nervous . But right now we have a match with huge implications.
Jim Ross: Gordon , this is the loser leaves town Dog Collar match .
Gordon : Ever since their falling out , Dynamite Kid and Chris Adams have been trying to run the other out of Windy City. Their feud has been historic to say the least . It’s crossed over into various parts of the IWA and has brought in such men as Jerry Lawler and Eddie Gilbert . Gino Hernandez has joined Windy City as a result . Let’s go to the ring for this final battle .
Loser Leaves Windy City Dog Collar Match Dynamite Kid vs Gentlemen Chris Adams : Before the match begins , Ultimo Dragon tries to attack Adams but Gino stops him . The two men fight all the way to the back . Security escorts Gary Hart out of ringside .
The two men put the collars on and tussle o over the chain . Dynamite takes his half of the chain and swings it upward , hitting Adams . Now Dynamite hits a Thesz Press rolls up the chain and rains down punches . He then rakes the eyes of Adam with the chain .
Adams finds just enough of the chain to coil around his hand and strike Dynamite in the inner thigh . Now he fights up to his feet . He whips Dynamite off the ropes and clotheslines him with the chain . He covers 1…….2…….. Noooo ! Dynamite kicks out . Dynamite gouges the eyes and now wraps the chain around Adams ‘ ribs . He leans back putting more pressure on . Gordon and JR talk about how this is like a Bearhug effect only worse . Adams is bleeding out if the mouth .
Dynamite is imploring Adams to quit , but Adams throws short elbows to the side of Dynamite’s head . Adams gets free and gets off a DDT . He covers , but Dynamite is out at two . Dynamite grabs Adams by the front of the trunks and hurls him into the turnbuckles From there he tosses Adams over the rope , then basically tries to hang him .
Adams skins the cat , flips back in and hits a reverse kick to the gut and then a spinning clothesline . From there he whips Dynamite into the corner . Dynamite gets caught in kind of a tree of woes and Adams ties the chain around his legs . Adams drives knee after knee into Dynamite’s face . The ref waves it off . Dynamite is out cold . Both men bloodied and battered as the ref raises a victorious hand of Chris Adams . Gino comes in and hugs his partner .
Jim Ross it is all over , folks .
Gordon : Dynamite Kid must now leave Windy City Pro Wrestling. Interesting side note , Jim . Gary Hart only has one man left .
Jim . If I know Hart , it won’t be long until a new stable is built .
Gordon : Indeed . And Jim I know this is one of the matches you wanted to see the most , coming up .
Jim : Yes Gordon , the Unlimited Championship . This title and its rules you have here are made for these two .
Gordon : No doubt , our champion James Gibson taking on Jushin Thunder Liger. Let’s go to the ring .
Unlimited Championship James Gibson ( C) vs Jushin Thunder Liger : The two men circle and Gibson ducks under a lock up and then comes in behind and gets off a waist lock takedown . He now puts a knee in Liger’s back and pulls up on the chin . Liger gets to his knees kind of hits a backward up kick with both feet , smashing into Gibson’s chest knocking him out of the ring . Liger goes for a Suicide Dive . Gibson just moves out of the way and Liger hits the railing . Gibson now drops a series of elbows to Liger in the outside .
Gibson puts the boots to his man and then works a body scissors. Liger is really struggling , but he powers his way up and hits a sort of spine buster move . Now Liger lifts Gibson up and drops him on the ring apron stomach first . He rolls Gibson in the ring and now Liger just works a good old fashioned Bearhug. Gordon and JR tell us , that Liger is using this as wear down hold , not a submission. Gibson gets to the ropes . Off the break , Liger hits a roaring elbow , then chops Gibson in the chest several times . Liger hits a snap Suplex . He covers 1…..2……Noooooo !!! Gibson kicks out .
Liger pulls his man up and sets for a running Ligerbomb , but Gibson turns it into a DDT . He covers 1….2…..Nooooooo !!!! Liger kicks out . Now Gibson goes for his Guillotion Choke , but Liger breaks it up and turns it into a bridging Suplex . 1……2……Noooo . Liger now transitions into a Koji Clutch . Gibson gets to the ropes and off the break hits Liger with a left hand and then hits a gutbuster !!! Gibson sets for a Piledriver , but Liger backdrops out it !!! Liger waits for his man to get up and goes for the Shotay Palm Strike , but Gibson turns it into a arm bar , but steps through that , into a rolling pinfall . 1….2…..3 !!!
JR : Gordon , this was everything we thought it would be .
Gordon : Indeed and right now , it’s time for the American Television Title Match .
Jim Ross : Kerry Von Erich barely got by Barry Windham last time . Can he get the job done again here tonight .
Gordon : Let’s find out .
American Television Title Kerry Von Erich ( C ) vs Barry Windham: This picks up right where it left off . Barry hits some huge right hands and then a boot that knock Kerry out of the ring . Kerry now plays a game of cat in mouse , taking almost a ten count and rolling in and out of the ring . This frustrates Barry to no end , so he goes out after him .
Kerry runs around the ring and ducks inside . When Barry tries to get in Kerry tries to kick him , but Barry grabs his leg and hauls him to the outside . He slingshots Kerry into the ring post , busting him open . He press slams Kerry in the ring and then goes after him . Kerry staggers up , Barry has The Claw !!!!
Kerry falls in between the ropes , Barry goes to Suplex him back inside , but Kerry’s feet hit the ref . Barry has the Claw on again and Gordon and JR talk about how you could count to 200. Batista and Orton hit the ring . Steamboat comes down and gives chase with a chair . They take their leave . Steamboat follows . Leaving the chair behind . Barry turns around . WHACK !!!! Kerry nails him with it and then tosses it out .
The ref now recovers , a bloody Windham staggers to his feet !!! Discuss Punch by Kerry . Kerry makes the cover 1….2…..3 !!!!
Jim Ross : That damn Kerry Von Erich is the luckiest S. O. B . , on the face of the earth .
Gordon : For sure , but week after week , he is victorious. He’s broken the top ten and soon , Hulk Hogan may be looking over his shoulder . Right now , it’s intermission.
Intermission
IWA X Division Championship MJF ( C) vs Jeff Hardy : Hardy starts off very quickly . Some fast arm drags then a front dropkick MJF powders out and Hardy hits a springboard Whisper In The Wind . He rolls MJF in and tries for a twist of fate , but MJF grabs the top rope and stays put . Then clotheslines Jeff over the top rope . He tosses Jeff into the steel stairs and then rolls him and works over his left shoulder and arm . Jeff fights out of it and gets off a pele kick . From there , Jeff goes up for a Swanton and MJF gets his knees up . After that he hits Salt of the Earth and gets the 3 count .
Jim : A valiant effort by Jeff Hardy .
Gordon : Yessir , but MJF showed why he’s the X Division Champion . Up next is a big one .
Jim : Gordon , I watch your show every week and this has been in the making for some time .
Gordon : Jim , yessir . Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkle taking on the champion’s Evolution. Some were beginning to wonder if this match would even happen at all . Let’s go to the ring .
Windy City Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles Evolution ( C) vs Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race : As Race is taking off his robe , Orton spins him around , RKO !!! Batista is choking Bockwinkle with his own towel , the ref orders Batista out before the count . He hurls Bockwinkle out to the floor . Orton now covers and the ref drops 1……2….. Noooooo !!!!!! Race kicks out !!!! Orton works a chin lock . Then tags in Batista ! Batista hits a Bucklebomb on Race !!! He covers 1…….2……Nooooo Race’s foot is on the ropes . Batista now lifts Race in the air choking him with two hands . He slams Race down and tags Randy back in . Randy swings Race around and drapes his feet on the middle rope . HANGMEN’s DDT !!!!! Now he backs up waiting for the punt , but as he’s coming across the ring , Bockwinkle jumps in and cuts him down with a clothesline .
Bockwinkle back on his corner urging Race to get to his feet Orton is back up and setting up for the RKO . Race gets to his feet , Race blast him with a Kneelift !!!! Race stumbles across the ring and makes the tag . Orton gets to his feet and he’s met with a head scissors takeover by Bockwinkle . Orton gets to the ropes SBD Bockwinkle knees him in the head . Bockwinkle the hits a double underhook Suplex and tags in Race . Race hits a falling headbutt on Orton and tags Bockwinkle back in . Bockwinkle with a spinning neck breaker . He tags Race back in . Harley with a kind of front Stunner and tags Bockwinkle back in , Bockwinkle with a side belly to belly .
Race is back in . Race hits a back breaker . Now he and Bockwinkle take turns putting Orton in a half crab or a Boston Crab . JR and Gordon talk about how in the last 11 minutes , the team of Race and Bockwinkle have made 51 tags . And how the attention is on Orton’s back and head .
Orton gets off a standing dropkick on Race and makes the tag to Batista . SPEAR BY BATISTA !!!!! 1…….2……Bockwinkle breaks it up .
Now Batista whips Race into the corner and nails him with shoulders in the midsection!!! Batista with a hangman’s back breaker . Race’s feet find the ropes however and he pushes off . Race with a knee to Batista’s back . Sends him headfirst into the turnbuckles . Race tags in Bockwinkle , Death Drop by Bockwinkle !!!! He tags Race back in Piledriver . Race covers , Randy Orton is laying on the ring apron still trying to recover . 1…….2……3 !!!!
Gordon : And that is all she wrote , Jim!!!
JR : Gordon , Windy City has new tag team champions !!!!
Gordon : Yessir and now the big one .
Jim Ross: The IWA World Heavyweight Title . Ric Flair taking on the World Heavyweight Champion, Hulk Hogan.
Gordon : Hulk Hog…..
JR ; What the hell ????
Hogan and Flair are fighting down the aisle . Hogan press slams Flair onto the guard rail back first . Hogan picks Flair up clamps down on a Bearhug . Flair with a thumb to the eye . Flair with a low blow. Now he grabs a chair and hits Hogan right on the knee . He rolls Hogan in the ring and goes for the Figure Four , but Hogan grabs him by the hair and pulls him down into a small package . 1…..2…….Nooooo ! Flair gets out of it .
Hogan fights up to his feet . He lets his fist fly . Then goes goes for another press slam , but Flair gets out the back and then kind of clotheslines the back of the knee . Flair stomps away on the knee and then puts on the Figure Four. Hogan is fighting for all he’s worth . Not only not to tap , but to keep his shoulders off the mat . The crowd gets behind him and he makes his come back .
He fights up . Big fist after big fist ! Ace Bomber !!!!!! Flair falls over the top rope down to the ground . Hogan goes out . PILEDRIVER ON THE GROUND !!!! He rolls Flair back in . Now he goes up to the top rope and the LEG GIVES OUT !!! He hits the ring apron , head first !!! Flair now gets up . Chair to the knee , over and over and over and over again . JR and Gordon reminds us this is no holds barred . Flair rolls Hogan back in the ring . Hogan goes for a desperation clothesline, but Flair kicks him in the knee first . Flair puts on the Figure Four again . The fans try rally Hogan , but not this time . Too much pain . Too much to overcome . Hogan’s shoulder touch the mat . 1……2……3 !!!!!

JR ; Ric Flair has done it !!!
Gordon : Hulk Hogan was one of the most fighting champions we have ever seen . And he fought all the way to the end . But now the Ric Flair era , after one year has begun in the IWA . Jim it’s main event time .
JR : And this has actually been the talk all over the IWA .
Gordon : HHH has been the champion here since it’s inception. He has outclassed and out smarted all his opponents. But his attack on the American Dream Dusty Rhodes might have awoke a sleeping giant . Dusty was out of wrestling for quite some time with a broken arm and was unable to defend the American Television Title, which is now held by Evolution’s Kerry Von Erich .
JR : And when Dusty returned he swore vengeance on HHH and would take his title . This is going to be a damn war !
Gordon : Let’s send it down to Jimmy Lennon Jr ,

This is our main event of the evening and it is for the Windy City Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Title. First the challenger from Austin , Texas . He is THE AMERICAN DREAM DUSTY RHODES!!!!
His opponent from Grenwhich , Conn. , he is the Windy City Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion!!!! THIS IS TRIPLE H !!!!!
The two men meet right in the middle of the ring and the fist start flying . Neither man , giving any quarter !! Now the lock up and tussle in the ropes . They fall out of the ring and the fist start flying again . The ref refusing to count them out . He stands in the middle of the ring with his arms crossed . HHH kicks Rhodes on the nuts and whips him into the railing !!!!
He looks at the ref expecting a DQ, but the ref shakes his head no . HHH slams Dusty’s head into the ring post , busting him open . He rolls Dusty in the ring and mounts him and rains down punches . He pulls Dusty up and gets off a DDT !!! He covers 1…… 2….. Nooooo ! Dusty kicks out .
The fans cheer Dusty on and he responds . Fast jabs and then a big round house right sends HHH onto the mat ! Dusty drops a big elbow and covers , HHH kicks out at two . Dusty now pulls his man up and back body drop !!! Dusty with a dropkick and HHH powders out . Dusty hits a makeshift plauncha using the ropes for a spring !!!! The fans go nuts !!!!
Dusty rolls his man in the ring Dusty goes to bound off the ropes , but Randy Orton gets up on the ring apron ! Dusty nails him with a Bionic Elbow !!! HHH sneaks up from behind and drops him with a reverse DDT . He covers and gets two , Dusty’s foot finds the ropes !!! He pulls his man up , face buster by HHH !!! Now he clotheslines Dusty across the top rope !!!
Dusty rolls out of the ring . HHH grabs a piece of railing . PEDIGREE !!!!! He rolls Dusty in . He covers …. 1…….2…….Nooooooo!!!!!!!!! Dusty kicks out !!!!! HHH pounds the mat in frustration. He sets for a second pedigree , Dusty backdrop out of it , but falls on his face . HHH is the first to get to his feet , spinebuster !!!! He tries to cover , small package by Dusty !!! 1…..2……Nooooo !!!! HHH kicks out . Dusty staggers up , kneelift by HHH !!! Now he clamps down on a Sleeper !!! The blood is pumping harder from Dusty’s head . He’s beginning to go out . His body goes limp . The ref checks the arm . It falls once …. Twice ….. Thr….. noooo !!! Dusty holds up a finger and shakes it .
He dances up . He elbows his way out . Belly to Belly !!! Dusty is up . He whips HHH off the ropes , HHH with holds on , kicks Dusty on the chest and then clotheslines him . HHH now puts on an Indian Deathlock . Dusty fights for everything he’s worth . Then all of a sudden he gets a leg free . He rolls the hold and counters into a Boston Crab. HHH claws and scratches his way toward the ropes , just as the hand is about to touch it falls short . HHH’s body goes limp . The ref checks him and waves him off .
