CM Punk arrives at the building with Paul Heyman …. Tonight is hyped as the biggest night in IWA history as we have match 3 of the ‘Best of 3’ series to unify the IWA and UWF world heavyweight titles inside a steel cage …. Punk cuts a promo about how he is the best wrestler in the world ….


We hear a car horn honking and a fancy Bentley pulls into the arena …. The door opens up and out steps Cameron Grimes??? He is wearing a top hat and a tuxedo jacket but no shirt underneath …. He has a wad of cash in his hand and he walks to the ring, stopping to hand out money to random little kids only to take it back from them …. He says the last time you saw Cameron Grimes he was in WORLD CLASS and poised to be the next big breakout star …. He was gonna be a Freebird …. Then the pandemic hit and he gets a phone call that says WCCW was suspending operations and Cameron Grimes was now unemployed …. So what did he do? He did what everyone else did, he went home and played video games …. He went to Gamestop to try to get him a PS5, and he thought maybe he should invest in it. He got some stocks real cheap and next thing you know it made him rich! Now he’s so rich that he can do what he wants, and he wanted to come to LA . . . . He says money is power, and if you don’t like that then you can kiss his grits! Cameron Grimes is ALL ELITE …. Grimes throws a bunch of money in the middle of the ring and makes a snow angel in it ….

ALEISTER BLACK’S MUSIC HITS!

We saw Black make his debut during AEW REBORN, and now he slowly comes out to the ring to confront Cameron Grimes …. Grimes isn’t sure how to react, so he offers Black some cash …. BLACK MASS LAYS OUT GRIMES! Black says nothing and walks away ….

Match 1: The Revival vs. Stampede Bulldogs (Tyson Kidd & DH Smith)

REULTS: The Revival win an entertaining tag team match over the young, upstart Bulldogs after pinning Tyson Kidd following the Shatter Machine (8:55)


Up next, we get the arrival of ELITE Champion Chris Jericho and he is NOT in a good mood …. How dare that degenerate Shawn Michaels defile him with Sweet Chin Music? Jericho got his payback with a steel chair shot, costing Shawn Michaels his match against the Rock later on in the night …. Jericho says he is not afraid of Michaels’ little ‘clique’ ….


This brings out Shawn Michaels to interrupt, and he is accompanied by Diesel …. HBK says Jericho has made a BIG mistake …. Before, HBK just gave him the courtesy of letting him know his days as ELITE champion were almost over, now HBK and his little ‘clique’ are going to run him out of AEW altogether …. Jericho is not impressed and asks Michaels if he will please ‘SHUT . . . THE HELL . . . UP!’

‘IF YA SMEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL . . . WHAT THE ROCK . . . IS COOKIN’ hits and brings out The Rock to thunderous applause …. Rock says these two jabronis have wasted a good 10 minutes on The Rock’s show and haven’t said anything …. Rock makes fun of both of them and talks about whipping Shawn Michaels’ monkey ass all over the arena last week …. The Rock has a real simple solution to this problem: The Rock takes Shawn Michaels, shoves him up Diesel’s candy ass, then takes both Diesel AND Shawn Michaels and turns them both sideways and STICKS THEM STRAIGHT UP JERICHO’S CANDY ASS! Then The Rock, The Great One, becomes the ELITE champion! Jericho laughs …. Rock comes back after 7 years in Hollywood and thinks that he is on the same level as a mega-star like Chris Jericho???? Jericho is a rock star, and he is a GOD of pro wrestling …. As a matter of fact, neither one of them are even on his level …. So his answer is NO ….


Jericho leaves, but Rock blocks his path. Jericho and Rock are nose to nose. Jericho smiles and turns to walk the other way, but HBK blocks his path this time! Jericho smiles because he realizes he is caught between them and has nowhere to go …. Jericho with a right to The Rock! HBK fires off some rights on Jericho, then lays him out with the flying forearm! HBK starts tuning up the band, but Rock is up and fires off some rights on Michaels! Jericho is back up and takes Rock out with the Judas Effect! Jericho picks up the ELITE title and is going to hit HBK with it, but Diesel steps in the way. Jericho thinks better of it and just decides to leave, while Diesel turns his attention to the Rock instead! Diesel picks Rock up, but Rock fires off more right hands …. Spit punch sends Diesel over the top to the floor! Rock doesn’t see HBK behind him, and he goes for Sweet Chin Music but Rock ducks it and back drops HBK over the top to the floor on top of Diesel!!!! Rock stands tall in the ring to end the segment ….


It is announced that Samoa Joe has signed with AEW and will make his debut next week ….


Match 2: Nigel McGuiness vs. Barry Horowitz, Attorney at Law

REULTS: Horowitz comes out handing a card for his services to the fans in the front row …. This is Nigel’s debut with AEW and basically this match showcases his style. Nigel dominates and wins via tapout to the London Dungeon (4:12)


Match 3: Daniel Bryan vs. Buddy Murphy

REULTS: These two have a banger of a match with both guys hitting big moves …. Bryan gets the win after hitting the Busaiku Running Knee (14:19)

POST MATCH: Bryan’s post-match music is cut as out comes Eli Drake!

DRAKE – “Daniel Bryan. Everyone’s favorite underdog who became a big star. Well, well, well. When I look at you all I see is a guy that has been handed opportunity after opportunity, main event after main event, while a guy like me has had to scratch and claw just to get his foot in the door. We get a video package with footage of HULK HOGAN vs. CM PUNK in Match 2 of the ‘Best of 3’ from Chicago … Punk and Hogan engaged in a straight up wrestling match, which Hogan won with a small package …. We then get some clips of both guys cutting promos on each other …. Tonight, the title will be unified inside a 15ft Steel Cage!!!!!


Match 4: Miroslav Barnyashev (RUSEV) w/ Ivan Koloff vs. Hangman Adam Page

REULTS: Miro controls early using his power to overwhelm Page …. Page fights back with the crowd behind him, hitting a fallaway slam and showing power of his own …. Miro avoids the Dead Eye and gets free, but Page avoids the Accolade and rolls Miro up for the surprise 3 count …. (7:39)

POST MATCH: Ivan Koloff berates Miro for the loss as Mauro and Graves comment on how things have not been going well for the Russians lately


IN-RING SEGMENT w/ CODY & DUSTIN RHODES ….

Cody Rhodes comes out to the ring and calls out his brother Dustin Rhodes …. We get a highlight clip of last week’s show, with Dustin’s frustration boiling over resulting in him kicking Cody in his injured knee and walking off after the match …. Dustin comes out in tears …. Dustin says he has been calling Cody all week because he is sorry for what happened …. Cody says that he didn’t answer his calls because last week Dustin chose to air their dirty laundry in front of the world, so Cody thought it was only fitting that they bring this in front of the people again …. Dustin is very contrite here, bringing up his troubled personal life and saying that Cody teaming with Scott Steiner against the Revival and putting that match ABOVE their tag team title match is what drove him over the edge and he made a terrible mistake …. What we get here is a very heart-felt reconciliation between these two brothers and the fans pop huge as the brothers bury the hatchet and embrace in the middle of the ring … They turn to leave BUT CODY HITS DUSTIN WITH A LOW BLOW!!!! Dustin falls to his knees in front of his brother with a look of ‘Why, Cody why?’ on his face …. Cody grabs him and hits the Cross Rhodes!!!! Cody walks off with a snarl on his face, but then turns and looks back to the ring to see Dustin laying there …. He comes back and continues the attack, grabbing a chair and putting it around Dustin’s neck and then throwing him into the ring post! Cody would then pick Dustin up and hit another Cross Rhodes on the floor!!!! The fans are in stunned silence as Cody walks out and leaves the trainers to tend to his brother ….



The Rock vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels for the ELITE title is announced for next week’s main event ….


Punk comes out first. He is waiting for Hogan in the cage as Hogan’s music plays, but as Hogan comes out he is blindsided by HHH!!!! PEDIGREE ON THE CONCRETE FLOOR!!!! Hogan is busted open from hitting his head on the concrete and tons of trainers and doctors come out to check on him. Punk is pissed in the ring …. They are giving Hogan a concussion test, but Punk leaves the cage and goes and gets in Hogan’s face. He is yelling at Hogan to get in the cage and face him, calling Hogan a coward …. Hogan pushes his way past the doctors and attacks Punk! We get a wild brawl around the ring and the match hasn’t even officially started yet! Hogan gets the advantage and Punk gets back into the cage to get away from Hogan, but Hogan follows him in and shuts the door! The match has officially started!

MAIN EVENT: Match 3 in ‘Best of 3’ series to unify the UWF and IWA world titles

(IWA WORLD CHAMPION) Hulk Hogan vs. (UWF WORLD CHAMPION) CM Punk

REULTS: Punk reveals that begging off was just a plan to lure Hogan into the cage and he attacks again and takes over. He pounds the cut on Hogan’s head, opening it up even further. Hogan hulks up and fights back, tossing Punk into the cage and now Punk is busted open. Hogan with the big boot and the leg drop! THE LIGHTS GO OUT!

GONG!

The lights come on and standing in the ring is the UNDERTAKER!!!! Goozle to Hogan! CHOKE SLAM! Punk is down, but when he sees what is going on he doesn’t look too happy about it! Punk gets nose to nose with the Undertaker. GOOZLE TO PUNK! Now Nicholas DeVannes is at ringside and he and Heyman are yelling something at the Undertaker! Taker finally lets go of Punks throat, but Hogan nails Punk from behind knocking him into Taker! Rollup by Hogan! 1 … 2 … LIGHTS GO OUT AGAIN! They come back on and now THE GHOST is in the ring! Urinage Slam to Hogan!!!! Punk is on his knees looking up at both the Undertaker and The Ghost …. THE LIGHTS GO OUT A 3RD TIME!!!! This time when they come back on, Taker and The Ghost are nowhere to be seen! …. Punk looks around and sees Hogan still down and makes the cover …. HOGAN KICKS OUT!!!! Hogan starts hulking up, and Punk attacks but it does no good …. YOOOOOOUUUUUU! Right hands and then Hogan shoots Punk into the ropes and hits the big boot! Leg Drop! 1 . . . 2 . . . PUNK KICKS OUT!!!!

Hogan is stunned and both guys are bleeding and exhausted …. Hogan goes goes for the Python Clutch, but Punk battles out and scoops Hogan up …. GO TO SLEEP!!!! Punk collapses onto Hogan …. 1 …. 2 …. Hogan kicks out!!!! Punk looks desperate, and he starts crawling for the door of the cage …. He can’t beat Hogan so he is trying to win via escape! Punk goes to exit through the door, but Hogan is up and barely grabs his tights in time to prevent him from leaving! Punk with a back elbow, but Hogan returns fire with some rights and both guys are in the doorway to the cage fighting it out! Hogan with a big right hand and both guys fall through the door to the floor!!!! But who hit first???? The referees at ringside get together to confer and no one knows what happened ….

In the meantime, The Ghost and The Undertaker come back out of the crowd and attack Hogan! Nicholas DeVannes and Heyman are right there in the middle of it, arguing that Punk hit the ground first and should be the winner …. The referees are having trouble comig to a decision despite Heyman and Devannes trying to influence them, and then the UWF faction just start attacking the referees!!!! The UWF guys are wrecking everything while Punk just watches as the show comes to an end in controversial fashion ….

That main event was insane . The UWF boys better watch their step . Anytime you want to use Hogan to further a story , just do it .

I like Grimes..... but i wish you would put your own twist into him as this one is what we are seeing in real life on NXT. Maybe use the same character but put your own blend to it
