Lance Russel : Oh what a month it’s been . Hello folks Lance Russel here with you for Pro Wrestling Insider with Bill Apter . We are in Memphis , Tennessee this week at the old number 5 studio . We got a great show planned . Jerry Lawler and Austin Idol taking on the Road Warriors . Buzz Sawyer vs David Von Erich and IWA All Stars Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu taking on Shawn Michaels . But first here now with the most recent updates is Bill Apter .
Bill : Thank you Lance . Fans we are just two weeks away from the IWA’s Parade of Champions . The festivities kick off in Los Angelos where 3 World Champions will be crowned .
Jack Tunney announced that the IWA Parade of Champions will now go on your the month of August . Of course your host for the big two night event , Beyond Wrestling . And then the tour will run through the following promotions . APW , WCCW , WWF , Glory , XWA and WCPW .
Other news recently , IWA was able to purchase the libraries of XWA , CWX , SSW , Wrestle Kingdom and Progress they are available on the IWA’s website .
Congratulations are in order to Jacob Fatu the newly crowned IWA All Stars Heavyweight Champion , The Lucha Brothers the IWA All Stars Tag Team Champions and Tiger Mask the IWA All Stars Junior Heavyweight Champion all we’re crowned recently on a tour in Monterey, Mexico . IWA All Stars next stop the UK .

Lawler and Animal start things off and Lawler is no dummy . He uses his best weapon against the powerhouse . His fist !!! He has Animal reeling until a kick in the gut and a press slam by Animal puts a stop to it .
Lawler tags in Idol and the Roadies punish him for 10 minutes before ending it with the Doomsday Device for the 1...2....3 !!!

Bill . Thanks Lance , fans it’s time for names making news .
Texas : Ted Dibasie and Dr. Death recently won a huge upset victory over the team of Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody . This promoted officials to remove Hansen and Brody from the tag team battle royal at POC and replace them with Doc and Ted .
Maryland : The Buzz Sawyer vs Tazz feud continued this week as the two men became involved in a match during a tv title match . Can any arena hold these two ?
California : Lacey Evans this week got the attention of Tessa Blanchard , Sasha Banks and Baylee when she came to the rescue of Kari Sang .
Chicago : Jungle Boy recently turned on Dusty Rhodes in a tag team match against the champions Nick Bockwinkle and Harley Race . It was later revealed that Gentleman Jack Perry is now part of the Gentlemen’s Club .
New York : Big news in Glory this week . It seems my momentum by The Undisputed Era has taken a turn . Jay Lethal , Edge and Johnny Gargano seem to have the number of Adam Cole and company lately .
Florida : XWA had their debut this week and Tommy Dreamer in a great match retained the XWA Heavyweight Title against none other than the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels.
Finally from the land down under this week . Owen Hart has returned to APW . This could be bad news for the rest of the APW roster . He’s one of the top wrestlers in the world and can be a tag team specialist. Nobody is more versatile.

Lance : Fans this next match is one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Maddog Buzz Sawyer taking one David Von Erich
Buzz unleashes a major duplex offense on David . But David’s endurance pays off and he gets Buzz going with a flurry of high flying moves and then a body slam . Buzz bites him to gain an advantage . And as he’s punishing him with a Bear Hug . Tazz comes out and distracts him . David takes advantage with a school boy for the 1...2...3 !!!
Tazz and Buzz brawl all over the studio .
Lance :Oh boy . Bill said it earlier nothing can keep these two separated and now it played out here on Insider . Bill is that Gorgeous George Wagner there with you ?
Bill : Yessir Lance and Mr . Wagner is our interview spot light this week . You are coming in to the IWA with no contract and basically a Wild card .
Wagner : Wild card , Mr. Apter ? How dare you ? I am one of the top heavyweight champions in history . Two time NWA World Champion . The man who headlined the first UWF Wrestlemania. And I should have been UWF World Tag Team Champion , but sometimes apple carts get turned over and blocking takes place . I am far from a Wildcard .
Apter : Now , there were rumors you retired .
Wagner : And Mr. Apter the rumors are true . After the political game and realizing the powers that be were never going to allow me to be on top , I like one promoter suggested , took my ball and went home . And I was fine there . Sitting on a Greek island surrounded by gorgeous women and men at my beacon call . Keeping myself in shape , by swimming and wrestling every day . Yoga and martial arts . Running 3 and half miles a day . I was happy .
I enjoyed snorkeling and saw some amazing dance recitals . Spending time in my garden growing the most beautiful flowers and some of the best quality fruits and vegetables and signed a major Blu Ray deal with IWA . The Best of Gorgeous George Wagner .
Then IWA came calling and asked me to come in and give their already great World Heavyweight Title Tournament some legitimacy , although really not needed . But yes , I deserve this . Once again a major pay per view is being built on the back of the most important wrestler ever . Gorgeous George Wagner .
Apter : Will you come out of retirement and maybe sign with a promotion in the IWA ?
Wagner : Honestly , Mr. Apter I am living in paradise . But one can never say never . I will insist on the biggest money deal ever in pro wrestling . If they want me , they have to be willing to make history . Make me the highest paid man ever and you might have a deal , otherwise I’ll continue living the good life . Now if you’ll excuse me Mr . Apter , Dawn Marie and Michael Shane are meeting me at the airport. The three of us have a delightful week in store . Thank you oh and to coin your phrase , see you at the matches .
Apter : Well Lance , that just about sums it up . It’s main event time .
Lance : And what a main event we have . Shawn Michaels taking on the IWA All Stars Champion Jacob Fatu !
A great back and forth match . The two men push each other to the 45 minute mark . After a top rope elbow drop , HBK tunes up the band , but Fatu catches the leg and turns it into a Samoan Drop and then from there hits a Shooting Star Press for the 1....2....3 !!!
