The show begins with the arrival of US Women’s Champion Charlotte .... she tells the people in Manchester that their TRUE Queen is finally here!  And ‘Your Queen is angry because SHE WANTS HER TITLE!  She won the match, she tapped out Molly Holly in the middle of this ring and she should be standing here the Champion .... But instead we have to have some bogus rematch so YouTube can get some more views and the UWF can continue to protect Molly Holly .... well, when the name on the marquee says ‘Flair’ on it, you know it’s the hottest ticket in town .... And tonight, she says she is not only going to take the UWF title once and for all, she promises to put Molly Holly in the figure 8 and not let go!  The bell can’t save Molly tonight, because the Charlotte is going to take her rightful place on the throne!


We go to Renee Young and Matt Striker at ringside and Renee puts over tonight as one of the biggest shows Shimmer has ever seen .... In addition to the UWF world title on the line WITH NO TIME LIMIT, the Shimmer title will also be defended .... plus we will have match 4 of the ‘Best of 5’ series between Sasha Banks and Toni Storm, and the debut of Asuka is tonight!  We’ve got the ok from the executives at YouTube to go as long as we need to in order to make sure there is a winner tonight!


Out come the Shimmer tag team champions Peyton Royce and Billie Kay .... Kay cuts a promo about how they are so dominant that there are no teams to challenge them anymore .... They aren’t just Shimmers’ Femme Fatales, they are now the ‘Icons of Shimmer’ .... This brings out Santana Garrett to confront them .... she wants to challenge them .... Royce and Kay laugh at her, and say she doesn’t even have a tag team partner anymore (Laurel Van Ness signed with WOW) .... Santana challenges Royce one on one, and says if she wins then she gets a tag title match .... Royce and Kay agree and say they are going to destroy her ....


Singles match:
Peyton Royce w/ Billie Kay

Santana

Every time Santana gets an advantage, Kay interferes and allows Royce to take back over .... Santana rallies, and avoids a double team attempt and super kicks Kay off the apron to the floor .... Royce nails the spin kick, but Santana kicks out!!!!  Royce tries for the fisherman buster but Santana reverses it into the Sole Food!  Santana hits the Shining Star Press and gets the 3 count before Kay can make the save!!!!

Santana gets a good response from the crowd as she celebrates outside the ring ....


IN THE BACK -

We see Ember Moon getting ready for her match tonight against Priscilla Kelly .... Naomi comes in and says she’s got Embers back tonight .... Bianca BelAir is there too, but she doesn’t look very enthused with Naomi and Ember talking ....

Singles Match:
Ember Moon w/ Naomi & Bianca BelAir

Priscilla Kelly w/ Winter

This match is a result of Vol. 6 where Kelly interfered and cost Moon the fatal 4 way #1 contender’s match .... Moon and Kelly have a very INTENSE match with a lot of stiff strikes early on .... BelAir and Naomi counter the presence of Winter at ringside .... eventually both parties get involved, and Naomi and Winter end up fighting .... in the meantime Kelly takes a shot at BelAir, which gets her involved as well .... Kelly and BelAir mix it up, but this allows Moon to recover and come off the top, hitting the Eclipse on BOTH BelAir and Kelly at the same time!!!!  Moon pins Kelly for the 3 count ....

After the match, Moon and BelAir get in each other’s face, and eventually get into a shoving match .... Naomi tries to play peacemaker between the two, but Moon tells her that she didn’t need their help in the first place ....


Asuka is shown with her back to the camera .... she turns around, revealing her mask which gets a pop from the crowd ....

Serena Deeb

The crowd LOVES Asuka .... Serena is no slouch either, having spent time in APW recently .... this is both ladies’ first appearance in Shimmer ....

Asuka works leg kicks and strikes, and they go to the mat .... Deeb tries to ground Asuka to avoid the strikes, but Asuka escapes and lays in kicks .... Kitchen sink knee of the ropes by Asuka .... Deeb rolls to the floor, and Asuka follows with a hip attack off the apron .... Deeb fires back with forearms, then hits a back suplex on the floor!  Deeb rolls her back in and lays in with some mounted strikes, but again Asuka back to her feet and hits a pop up knee strike and follows with kicks .... Deeb goes down and Asuka drills her with the sliding knee strike .... Deeb kicks out at 2!  Asuka goes up top, but she misses a high cross!  Spear by Deeb!!!!  1 ... 2 ... Asuka kicks out!!!!  Deeb can’t believe it!  Deeb looks to attack, but runs into a knee strike from Asuka!  Spinning back-fist!!!!  Deeb let’s out a scream, but charges right into a flying armbar from Asuka!  She’s trapped in the middle!  Deeb fights to the ropes, but Asuka pulls her back into the center and locks on the Asuka Lock (crossface chickenwing) and this time Deeb taps out!

Great showing by Deeb here, and both ladies shake hands after the match .... Deeb leaves the ring and Asuka celebrates ....


It is announced that Asuka will face Santana Garrett on Shimmer Vol. 8 ....

Matt and Renee talk about the Toni Storm/ Sasha Banks ‘Best of 5’ .... Banks took a 2-0 lead, but Storm avoided being swept with a victory at the recent Progress UK show .... what started as a friendly contest to see who is the better wrestler has now turned into an intense rivalry .... the handshakes and hugs are gone, and now both ladies will do whatever it takes to win the others respect, and the shot at the Shimmer title ....

Toni Storm

Neither woman even tries for a handshake this time .... this has gone from a rivalry between friends to both women almost hating each other and doing whatever it takes to win .... Storms shoulder is still taped up from the first 2 matches, and now Banks is dealing with a neck issue after taking a piledriver on the ring apron in the last match ....

They meet in the middle and start talking trash to each other .... Banks slaps the taste out of Storms mouth!!!!  Storm responds with rapid fire forearms and hammers Banks to the mat .... Storm with the theatrics and the hip attacks, but Banks avoids one and school boys her for a close 2 .... Banks with chops and sends Storm to the floor .... METEORA OFF THE APRON!  Storm is now holding her shoulder .... Banks goes to work with a fujiwara armbar, but Storm escapes .... Banks then tosses Storm shoulder-first into the ring post .... Storm can’t even use her arm at this point .... Storm fights back with her good arm but runs into the pop up into a knee strike from Banks for a 2 count .... Banks goes for the double knee drop in the corner but Storm avoids it and hits a hanging backstabber on Banks for 2!!!!  Banks is holding her neck and now she’s hurt too!  Storm goes for the Strong Zero but she can’t lift Banks because of the hurt arm .... Banks with a hard forearm spins Storm around .... BACKSTABBER INTO THE BANK STATEMENT!!!!  Storm is trapped!  Banks is gonna end up .... but Storm shifts her weight and reverses it into a pin .... 1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Banks has to let go to break the hold!  Both ladies pop up, and Storm nails Banks with a HUGE roundhouse!  Storm with a running yakuza kick in the corner!  Banks is down in the corner .... CHARGING DOUBLE KNEE SMASH!!!!  1 ... 2 ... 2.99999!!!!  Banks kicks out!  Storm goes right into an anaconda Vice!!!!  Banks is trapped in the middle, and Storm cranks back on the hold putting pressure on the injured neck!  Banks taps out!!!!

Both ladies brought a new level of intensity that hasn’t been seen in their previous matches, and Storm once again showed her desperation to win by busting out the Anaconda Vice submission .... we are now tied 2-2 and going to the 5th and deciding match!

Matt Striker and Renee Young break down our next match, which is for the Shimmer title .... Paige won a Fatal 4 way at Shimmer 6, and she was attacked by Rosemary on the recent Progress UK show ....


For the Shimmer title:

The bell sounds and they brawl right away .... Rosemary takes control with a Russian leg sweep for 2 .... Paige battles back and things spill to the floor, and Paige returns the favor by hitting a Russian leg sweep INTO the guardrail .... Paige ties Rosemary up in the ropes and hits some rapid fire knee lifts .... Rosemary comes back with a spear, then hits a skyward suplex (angle slam) for a 2 count!  Rosemary hits the corner elbow charge, but Paige counters with a German suplex .... Paige sits Rosemary up top, but Rosemary fights her off with rapid fire headbutts .... Rosemary locks Paige in the Upside Down (hanging figure four headlock)!  Rosemary has to release the hold, but then she charges for another spear but Paige with a super kick!  Paige hits the Paige-Turner!  1 ... 2 ... Nooo!  Rosemary kicks out!  Paige sits her on the top again, but this time hits a super-plex!  Both ladies are down!  They climb to their feet, trading hard forearms in the middle .... Rosemary gets the advantage and drills Paige with an exploder suplex .... Rosemary looks for Red Wedding, but Paige escapes and goes for the Ram-Paige but it gets reversed into the Red Wedding!  1 ... 2 ... Paige gets a foot on the ropes!  Rosemary argues with the ref, then goes outside and gets a steel chair!  The ref stops her from using it, but while he is putting the chair away Rosemary has the Shimmer title .... BELT SHOT!  1 ... 2 ... 2.99999!!!!  Paige kicks out!!!!  Rosemary goes for the mist, but Paige blocks it by putting her hand over Rosemarys mouth!  Rosemary starts to choke on the mist, but Paige charges and she’s able to scoop Paige up on her shoulders .... Paige counters the Red Wedding by rubbing the mist, which is on her hands, in Rosemarys eyes!!!!  RAM-PAIGE!  Paige doesn’t go for the cover, and instead locks on the Scorpion Crosslock!!!!  Rosemary taps and we have a NEW Champion!!!!

It’s time for our HUGE main event and this one has a big fight feel to it .... both ladies enter the ring, and we get the ring introductions with both inside just like a big time heavyweight fight .... Molly Holly can’t be 100% after her previous match with Charlotte, and Charlotte’s confidence is at an all-time high .... YouTube TV will go as long as it takes to have a winner in this one ....


Main Event: No Time Limit for the UWF world title

(United States Champion) Charlotte w/ Nia Jax

From the beginning, Charlotte goes after the knee but Molly keeps her at bay with some big forearms .... Molly hits a back bodydrop, forcing Charlotte to roll outside .... Molly goes to the top to test the knee early, but Nia Jax steps in front of Charlotte .... Jax helps Charlotte in the ring, but then gets hit with a baseball slide from Molly!  Charlotte clobbers Molly from behind and tosses her into the corner but Molly gets the boot up and then comes off the 2nd rope with a European uppercut!  Molly tosses Charlotte into the corner and she does the Ric Flair up and over to land on the apron, but Molly dropkicks her to the floor!  Molly comes up limping a bit but follows Charlotte outside to continue the attack .... Charlotte tries to get away and Molly gives chase but runs right into a big clothesline from Nia Jax!  The ref sees this and immediately ejects Jax from ringside!  Jax is throwing a fit as she leaves, but Charlotte uses the distraction to clip Molly’s injured knee from behind!

From here it’s all Charlotte as she attacks the injured knee of Molly .... Molly takes ALOT of punishment to the knee including taking a figure four around the ring post from Charlotte .... Back in the ring, Charlotte goes for the figure four again but Molly kicks her off and she goes face-first into the buckles!  Molly tries to roll her up from behind but Charlotte holds on to the turnbuckle pad to block it!  Molly pulls harder and gets the roll up, with Charlotte pulling the turnbuckle pad off in the process!  2 count!  Charlotte back up and charges but Molly hits a drop toehold into the unprotected buckle!!!!  Both women are down!!!!  Molly gives zero fucks and starts climbing the ropes, injured knee and all, BUT THE MOLLY GO ROUND MISSES!!!!  Charlotte hits Natural Selection!!!!  Charlotte is slow to recover, and she climbs the ropes instead .... MOONSAULT!!!!  1 ... 2 ... 2.99999!!!!  Molly barely kicks out!!!!  Charlotte grabs her leg and goes for the figure four .... SMALL PACKAGE!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Charlotte kicks out, then takes Molly down and gets the figure four this time .... Molly won’t tap!  Charlotte tries to bridge into the figure 8 but Molly stops her, and rolls to her stomach to reverse the move!!!!  Now the pressure is on Charlotte’s knee!  Charlotte yells in pain and has to grab the ropes before having to tap out herself!  Molly limps to her feel and yells for Charlotte to get up .... Charlotte looks close to being in tears and she yells at Molly ‘YOU CANT BEAT ME!’  Molly scores with a discus lariat that nearly takes off Charlotte’s head!!!!  1 ... 2 ... Charlotte kicks out!!!!  Molly tries for the Psycho Driver, but her knee buckles and Charlotte scores with a big boot out of nowhere!  She looks down at Molly, but instead of covering Charlotte starts to ascend the ropes for another moonsault .... Molly gets up at the last second and kicks Charlotte’s legs out from under her and she straddles the top rope!!!! Molly gets behind Charlotte and is able to scoop her off the top rope onto her shoulders .... PSYCHO DRIVER!!!!  Molly doesn’t cover as much as she just falls on top of Charlotte .... the ref drops down ... 1 ... 2 ... 3!!!!

OH MY GOD!  Molly Holly retains the UWF women’s title in an absolute WAR!!!!  The fans are on their feet giving BOTH women a standing ovation as trainers attend to both of them .... Molly manages to gather the strength to pull herself to her feet and hold the world title up for a brief moment before letting the trainers help her from the ring ....[/i][/i]
