Renee Young and Matt Striker are in the ring to start the show .... Renee welcomes Striker to his first night announcing for Shimmer, and he’s glad to be here .... he puts over tonight’s show ....

Paige comes out and talks about wanting a shot at the Shimmer title .... she says Shimmer is HER house .... this brings out Allysin Kay .... she says she saved Paige’s ass at Shimmer Vol. 4, but they ARE NOT friends .... she’s all about the Shimmer title and it’s time she got her shot .... Ember Moon comes out and says she’s undefeated in Shimmer .... if anyone should get a shot, it’s her .... This brings out Becky Lynch, who say none of them have a claim to the title .... she’s the former Shimmer Champion and she never got her rematch .... if anyone wants a title shot they are going to have to go through HER first!  

This leads to the main event, which will be Paige vs Allysin Kay vs Becky Lynch vs Ember Moon to determine the No. 1 contender for the Shimmer title ....

Premier Athlete Brand (Laurel Van Ness & Santana) ~ vs ~ Winter & Priscilla Kelly

This is a hard fought match with the fans not really sure who to cheer for .... Santana plays the face in peril for most of the match as she is worked over .... Van Ness gets the hot tag and runs wild, but the action breaks down with all 4 ladies going at it .... Santana hits the Shining Star Press on Winter, but Kelly pulls the ref out of the ring .... Santana hits the Sole Food on Winter, but is unable to cover before the time limit expires and we have a 15 minute draw ....

Bianca BelAir w/ Naomi ~ vs ~ Mandy Rose

BelAir is pissed at what Rose did at Shimmer Vol. 5 when she set her up to get attacked by Rosemary .... this is also a battle of two of the young stars in Shimmer .... BelAir hits the ‘Kiss of Death’ (spear) on Rose, then finishes her with a breath-taking 450 splash ....

Cherry Bomb ~ vs ~ Dakota Kai

Probably the 2nd best match of the night .... fans are evenly split on who they want to cheer for .... Cherry Bomb continues to gain momentum since her singles debut in Shimmer, getting the pin on Dakota after reversing the TTYL and hitting the codebreaker for the 3 count ....

Both ladies shake hands after the match, and Dakota raises Cherry Bombs Hand ....

BEST OF 5 MATCH 1: Toni Storm ~ vs ~ Sasha Banks

Match of the night hands down .... these two are friends, but are out to prove who is truly the best and who is next in line to be the top female in Shimmer .... Storm hits Banks with all her big moves, but Banks survives all of them .... Banks manages to lock on the Banks Statement, and Storm is trapped but she fights like hell to get to the ropes .... just as she is about to get there Banks puts her feet on the ropes and kicks off, rolling them back into the center of the ring with the hold still locked on .... Storm has used all her energy to try to get out, and she has nothing left and she is forced to tap out ....

Sasha Banks gets her hand raised, and she takes a 1-0 lead in the best of 5 ....

SHIMMER TITLE MATCH: (Shimmer Champion) Rosemary ~ vs ~ Rhea Ripley

Ripley was another one of the ladies that was a victim of Rosemarys attack on the last Shimmer show, and she gets fed to her here this week .... Ripley is a promising young talent, and she looks like a Star .... she gets a decent amount of offense against the Champion, hitting some nice strikes and dropkicks .... but Rosemary overwhelms her and finishes her off quickly after that, forcing her to tap to the Last Chancery ....

A promo for ASUKA shows on the big screen ....



We get some Asuka highlights when ....


United States Champion Charlotte comes out screaming and yelling ‘CUT!  CUT!  CUT THIS OFF!’ .... Charlotte says that Shimmer is rolling out the red carpet for Asuka, but this is HER Kingdom!  She is the Queen and everyone will bow down to her, even Asuka!  There should be videos and celebrations in HER honor because she is the greatest woman’s wrestler in the WORLD!  Charlotte says the videos are going to stop, and if Asuka shows her face in Shimmer she will make Nia Jax crush her!

When she says that Jax just looks at her and rolls her eyes ....

NO. 1 CONTENDER FATAL FOURWAY: Paige ~ vs ~ Ember Moon ~ vs ~ Allysin Kay ~ vs ~ Becky Lynch

The bell rings and all 4 ladies start going at it .... there are no alliances here .... Paige and Allysin Kay have their first face-off, and just start beating the Shit out of each other until Ember Moon flies in and breaks it up with a crossbody to both of them .... Becky Lynch turns in an impressive display of suplexes on the other 3 women .... Kay tries to cut her off with the Silencer, but Lynch dodges and Kay goes shoulder-first into the turnbuckles!  Lynch goes to work on the arm, locking on the Disarm-Her but Paige breaks it up with a Superkick .... Paige tries for the scorpion crosslock on Lynch, but Ember Moon breaks it up with a Superkick of her own!  Moon goes to the top rope, and the fans are on their feet!  But Priscilla Kelly shows up at ringside and knocks Ember Moon off the top rope!!!!  Paige doesn’t see this, and she scoops up Moon and drills her with the Ram-Paige to win the match!!!!

Kelly looks on from the ramp as Paige celebrates, but then the lights drop .... Rosemary shows up on her balcony and holds up the Shimmer title as a red spotlight shines on her ....
