Announce Team - Renee Young & Matt Striker---- ALL SHOWS AVAILABLE ONDEMAND ON THE SHIMMER YOUTUBE CHANNEL OR ON SHIMMERWOMEN.COM The show starts out with the entrance of the Women’s ‘Universal’ Champion, Charlotte Flair .... Flair tells the peasants to quiet down, because their Queen is about to speak .... Charlotte cuts a promo about her HUGE victory over Molly Holly on Progress USA #4 .... she says that for over a year she’s been the best in the world but has had to chase the UWF title .... She is responsible for Molly Holly being the world champion because she broke Kong down for over a year and made her easy prey .... well, now it’s time for Molly to pay up .... This brings out the surprise appearance of Shayna Baszler, Nicole Savoy and Sonya Deville .... Charlotte introduces them as the ‘Submission Sorority’ .... Speaking of ‘paying up’, she hands Baszler a briefcase full of money .... Charlotte says they took care of her little problem with Nia Jax, and it was money well spent .... Baszler says it was a pleasure doing business with her .... Out comes Serena Deeb and she issues a challenge to Charlotte for tonight! Charlotte says after she just beat the world champion you think I am going to wrestle ... YOU? The best in the world and your Queen doesn’t soil herself wrestling peasants .... Instead, Shayna Baszler takes Charlotte’s place in the match, and says this one is a ‘freebie’ .... Singles Match

Serena DeebThis is basically just a squash match for Baszler as she attacks with kicks and strikes .... Deeb has no answer for her style .... Shayna works the arm, then does her arm stomp spot (re: Takeover Philly) .... the ref immediately rushes in and stops the match, and Deeb appears to have a broken arm ....* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Renee and Matt Striker are at ringside and they talk about what just happened .... Serena Deeb has been taken to a local hospital with a possible broken arm .... they talk about the rest of the show, and how BOTH the Shimmer title and Shimmer tag titles will be on the line .... Ember Moon challenges Paige, while Santana Garrett will challenge the Iconic Duo for the tag titles .... but who is Santana’s partner????Singles Match

Becky LynchBecky Lynch has been trying to find her place and not get lost in the shuffle here in Shimmer, while Naomi has been running with Bianca BelAir .... BelAir’s recent heelish behavior hasn’t rubbed off on Naomi, who continues to be a babyface .... However, BelAirs presence at ringside plays a part in the finish, as she interferes without Naomi knowing about it and nails Becky with a right hand .... This allows Naomi to hit the ‘rear view’ and get the 3 count on Lynch ....* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Renee and Matt are in the ring to start the next segment, and they have an announcement to make .... on April 4th, all 3 phases of Progress wrestling will converge on New Orleans to present Progress: UNIFIED!

Kelly Kelly & Barbi HaydenAnother squash match .... this was originally intended to be Hayden/ Kelly vs Blossom Twins, but the Sorority comes out and intimidates the Blossoms into leaving .... they attack quickly and dominate, with Kelly and Hayden barely getting any offense .... They finish off Hayden with a wheelbarrow suplex/ codebreaker combo they call the ‘Initiation’ .... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Singles Match:
Lacey Evans

Cherry BombEvans plays up the Southern Lady gimmick, but when the bell rings she turns the aggression on .... Cherry Bomb battles back, but Evans stops all of it with a straight right hand .... Evans hits the slingshot elbow drop, but Bomb comes back with a codebreaker but Evans survives with a foot on the ropes .... Cherry Bomb goes for a tilt a whirl headscissors, but Evans blocks it and turns it into the Lady Lace-Up (back to belly kneeling piledriver) for the 3 count .... After the match, Evans cuts a promo on her heel turn on Rhea Ripley last week .... She really plays up the southern belle gimmick and says that she lost her manners on the last show because Ripley is not a dignified lady, and says that her head banging and death metal are not ladylike .... she says she is going to show all of Shimmer how a lady should act .... This brings out Rhea Ripley! Ripley hits the ring but Evans escapes out the other side of the ring .... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *For the Shimmer title:

Ember MoonIt’s a slow start to this one with both girls feeling each other out .... the fans are split on who to cheer for so we get dueling chants .... we get lots of chain wrestling but Paige strikes with a Superkick for the first big move of the match .... Paige takes over and the fans rally behind Ember Moon and she fires up .... Ember hits a Superkick of her own and goes up top for the Eclipse but Paige cuts her off and hits a super-Plex! Paige goes for the Ram-Paige but Ember counters into an inside cradle for a close 2! Moon pops up and hits a discus elbow strike on Paige, then goes for a handspring elbow but Paige catches her and hits a snap German Suplex! Paige tries for the Scorpion Crosslock but Ember fights out of it with kicks .... Paige sits Ember on top, but once again Ember fights out and hits a tornado Suplex! Ember fires up now, and she once again goes for the Eclipse but Paige is able to trip her causing her to fall on the top rope .... Paige pulls her off into an elevated Ram-Paige! 1 ... 2 ... 3! Paige retains ....Paige celebrates her hard-fought win when Toni Storms music hits! Toni comes out for the first time since winning the ‘Best of 5’ series against Sasha Banks, and she makes her intentions known that she wants her title shot against Paige .... she turns and points to the Wrestlemania sign, indicating that she wants her shot at Progress ‘UNIFIED’ .... Paige nods her head and points at the sign while holding up the Shimmer title .... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *This feud began with the Iconic Duo making fun of Santana after her partner, Laurel Van Ness, left Shimmer to sign with WOW .... left on her own, Santana challenged Peyton Royce to a match where she would get a tag title shot if she won, despite not having a partner .... Santana won the match, setting up tonight’s main event even though Santana doesn’t have a partner ....Main Event: For the Shimmer tag team titles:

Santana GarrettThe ref almost doesn’t let the match start here, but Santana insists .... she’s going to go it alone! Royce attacks, but Garrett fights back and controls the match despite being outnumbered .... She thwarts the Iconic Duo every time they try to get the advantage, but eventually the numbers catch up with her .... Kay and Royce take over, and it gets to the point where they are just toying with Santana .... suddenly, familiar music hits and out on stage walks ....
.... ALEXA BLISS!!!!
Bliss comes out and gets in the corner of Santana and reaches her hand out!* Santana and Bliss used to be tag team partners until Bliss turned heel and attacked Santana and injured her. Bliss would say it was because she was tired of being in Santana’s shadow, and then she followed that up by defeating an injured Santana for the Shimmer title (formerly knockout title) .... Bliss hasn’t been seen in Shimmer since Shimmer Vol. 1 * Santana finally sees her “partner,” who reaches her hand out for the tag .... Santana reluctantly tags out and Bliss hits the ring and runs wild on Royce and Kay .... Santana is back up and she and Bliss come face to face for the first time since Bliss injured Santana years ago! They are face to face in a tense moment but then both turn at the last second and nail Kay with a double super kick! Santana wipes out Royce with a suicide dive while Bliss goes up top .... TWISTED BLISS!!!! 1 ... 2 ... 3!!!! New champs!!!!Bliss grabs both belts and holds them up, then hands one to Santana, who eyes her cautiously .... Bliss backs away, holding up the belt and leaving a stunned Santana in the ring holding the other belt ....  | |
