Announcer Gus Johnson welcomes everyone to the show. He plugs tonights Main Event featuring Blake & Murphy vs Speedball Mike Bailey and Tevita Fifita. Then he sends it up to the ring.
Match 1: Juice Robison vs Baron Corbin
(Very stiff bout. Juice hits some nice calf kicks. Corbin hits a Choke slam for 2. Juice hits a Jackhammer then transtions into the Juice Maker (Kimura). Corbin taps.)
(Rebel is giving up a lot of weight in this one. She uses her speed and guile to try to steal a win. But after a School girl attempt fails she walks right into a Discus Elbow. Seiko follows with Scorpio Rising (Axe kick to a kneeling opponent while using their knee for leverage). Then finishes her off with a Death Valley Bomb that Gus says is called Black Rain.)
General Manager Jack Tunney addresses the crowd. He puts over the new show as the place the Future Begins. Out walks Richie Steamboat. He says he's not some rookie. He has been a success in the UWF. He was the Shogun. It was due to a knee injury that set him back. But he worked hard to come back and now if he has to start at the bottom he will. But know he will one day be back on top.
Out walks Rush. He says no one wants to hear his whining about who he used to be. If he wants to cry do it on Instagram. This place is for wrestlers.
Tunney says this sounds like something to be settled in the ring. So next week that will be the Main Event. Rush vs Richie Steamboat.
Match 3: Mixed tag match: Athena & Willie Mack vs Kobra Moon & Dragon Azteca Jr
(The girls start it out with Moon using some Martial Arts moves to get the advantage. But Athena catches Kobra in a Belly to Belly Suplex. In come the men. Dragon Azteca does a Fallaway Slam on Mack. Willie connects on a Enzuguiri. In the end Kobra catches Athena in a Snake Sleeper. Athena taps out.)
Devin Taylor is in the back with David Finlay Jr. She brings up his appearances on XWA TV. He says he's happy for the exposure but he is not some scrub on tv who is there to make others look good. He is a brawler like his dad. And he doesn't just love to fight... He loves to win the fight.
Match 4: Evil Watanabe w/Tetsuya Bushi vs Evan Karagias
(Evan tries to wrestle the larger man but to no avail. Watanabe rakes the eyes of Evan, then hits a Lariat. He drives his shin into the throat of Evan. Then he hits 3 German Suplexes. He ends it with Darkness Falls(STO). Its an easy three count.)
We get a video package for Donovan Dijak. Talks about his short stint in SSW. He claims to have the best finisher in the business. The Feast your Eyes.
Main Event: Blake & Murphy vs "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Tevita Fifita
(Tevita starts it off doing well on both men then tags in Bailey who wows the crowd with some amazing high flying moves. He catches both opponents out on the floor with a double jump moonsault to the floor. He gets cut off though and Blake and Murphy begin to use double teaming to take control.
Bailey finally makes the hot tag and the Tongan native runs wild. Chopping the hell out of both Blake & Murphy. He gives them both headbutts as well. He hits a Spinning Spinebuster on Blake but Murphy breaks up the cover. Speedball is back in and does a Flying headscissors om Murphy sending him to the floor. Fifita goes up for a Flying Headbutt but misses! On the outside Baley is whipped into the railing. Murphy runs in and clobbers Mike from behid. He hits a Running Brainbuster as Blake comes off the top with a Frog Splash! 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winners: Blake & Murphy
