LAST TIME ON PROGRESS ....

- Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett were both arrested for an out of control brawl to start the show ....
- Killian Dane refused to rejoin Sanity, laying out Alexander Wolfe and Eric Young instead ....
- Dain then challenged Pete Dunne to a match for the UK title
- The match was interrupted by Marty Scurll, who attacked both men with a chair and then even attacked GM William Regal when he tried to break it up
- Darby Allin continues to show up during Aleister Blacks matches
- Taya Valkyrie retained her Shimmer title over Paige after interference from Toni Storm
- Nigel McGuiness def. Finn Balor




Show opens with William Regal addressing Marty Scurll’s actions on the last show .... Regal says he should suspend or fire Scurll, but that’s not what he’s going to do .... as a villain, Regal kind of admires what Scurll did .... so Regal is going to give him what he wants .... Tonight it will be Scurll vs Pete Dunne for the UK title ....


**** (USA) War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe) def. (ENGLAND) British Strong Style (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) ****  Very solid opener that sees War Machine get the win after hitting the Fallout on Tyler Bate ....

After the match, Rowe and Hanson call out Sanity .... they want a title shot .... Sanity’s music hits but they come out of the crowd behind War Machine and attack .... Sanity lays Hanson and Rowe out, then Eric Young cuts a promo on Killian Dain and how he is going to destroy him when they meet in the 1st round of the Atlas title tournament ....


Seeds are shows for the 4 tournaments in the Atlas title tournament .... the winners of the 4 tournaments will face each other in a Fatal 4 way iron man match to crown the first champion ....

Paige is interviewed about what happened last week .... she threatens Toni Storm to stay out of her business because she cost her the Shimmer title .... Storm comes out and confronts Paige, which leads to another pull-apart brawl between the two ....


Up next, we get the debut of the ‘House of Couture’ stable of Jinny Couture, Tyler Breeze and Zema Ion .... Couture plays a self-obsessed fashionista with Breeze as the arrogant male model obsessed with his own face and Ion as their ‘DJ’ ....


**** (USA) Tyler Breeze w/ Jinny Couture & Zema Ion def. (ENGLAND) Jack Gallagher ****  Breeze hits the Beauty Shot for the 3 count ....


Aleister Black is interviewed about Darby Allin showing up during his matches .... Black doesn’t comment, but says he’s going to be watching the next match closely to get a look at his opponent in the Atlas title tournament ....


**** (USA) Shane Strickland def. (USA) Drew Gulak ****  This is Strickland’s debut with Progress and he’s doing the ‘Swerve’ gimmick .... Strickland wins with the Swerve Stomp (diving stomp to seated opponent)


After the match, Aleister Black’s music hits and he comes out to the ring .... he faces off with Strickland and then sits Indian style in the middle of the ring .... he takes the mic and welcomes Strickland to Progress, and then tells him when they face each other in the atlas title tournament he will ‘fade to black’ ....


William Regal announces Sanity vs War Machine for the Progress tag team titles on Night 2 of the Atlas title tournament in London ....


**** (SCOTLAND) Drew McIntyre def. (ENGLAND) Wade Barrett in a street fight ****  McIntyre pins Barrett in a brutal match following a Claymore kick


**** (ENGLAND) ‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll def. (ENGLAND) ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne to capture the United Kingdom championship ****  Great match here .... these guys are both brutal and heelish so they try to kill each other .... Scurll brings the umbrella into the match but Dunne takes it from him .... the ref stops Dunne from using it, but this allows Scurll to low blow Dunne and roll him up in a small package for the 3 count!


Regal comes out and congratulates Scurll, but then tells him he is going to have his first title defense RIGHT NOW!  


**** (IRELAND) Killian Dain def. (ENGLAND) ‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll to win the United Kingdom championship ****  Dain squashes Scurll, who just went 15+ minutes against Dunne .... Dain puts him away with the Ulster Plantation while Regal watches on ....

After the win, Dain leaves the ring and Regal enters and calmly removes his jacket and tie before viciously attacking Scurll!  Regal bloodies Scurll with left hands and has to actually be pulled off of Scurll by Progress officials .... The fans are chanting Regals name as he is led away from the ring and Scurll is attended to ....
