2. LoVE w/Candice Michelle vs "The Dark Angel" Sarah Stock
Stock looking to get a measure of revenge for LoVE stealing a pin from her on her CWX debut. Sarah controls early but LoVE gains control a While. She goes for Love Sick but Stock counters into a Reverse DDT. She then goes for the Fall From Heaven but as she has her up Candice runs in and attacks her. Candice is given a yellow card but there are no DQs in the Temple. They give her a Double Hot Shott and LoVE covers for 3.
3. TNT & La Parka vs Abdullah The Butcher & Delirious w/Chyna
Dario Cueto's henchmen are a vicious duo and take apart TNT and La Parka. Delirious hits TNT with Shadows over Hell then tags in Abby who drops the elbow. 1.. 2.. 3!
Carlito is in the ring but doesn't know his opponent. Out walks Dario Cueto.
Dario: Tonight we have a special treat for the Temple. A brand new fighter is here and he will face you Carlito. He is... My BROTHER..... MATANZA!!!!
Out walks this hulking mass of a man. He walks with a purpose but there is no emotion. He enters the ring and Carlito attacks immediately. But Matanza absorbs it all. Then shoves him to the mat. When Carlito rises he is turned inside out with a clothesline. Karelin Lift Suplex by the masked brute. He sends Carlto into the corner but Carlito runs up the ropes and hits a Cross Body for two! But Matanza Snap mares him over by the hair and kicks him right in the face. Sitout Chokeslam Bomb. But Carlto kicks out at 2.
Dario is telling his brother to not let up. "Hurt him". Matanza is choking Carlito across the ropes. German Suplex connects. Carlito is in trouble but fires right hands to the bread basket then the head. He drives Matanza back. He whips him to the ropes but Matanza reverses it and presses Carlto then drops him on his face. Dario yells to finish it. Matanza executes his finisher (Reverse-spin scoop powerslam). It's all over.
These 2 women have been feuding a while. The hatred is stronger than the want of a victory. They battle all over the Temple. Star gets sent face first into a fire extinguisher. She is cut. Jennifer concentrates on that. Sexy refuses to give up and hits a Tilt-A-Whirl faceplant out on the floor. Soon they both wind up back in the ring. Sexy hits a Jawbreaker and goes up top. But when she jumps Blake tries to catch her. However, she stumbles backwards and Sexy lands headfirst. Jennifer quickly realizes she has an opening and hits the Earth-Blake. 1.. 2.. 3!
3 Fan favorites going at it. Each man hits a spectacular spot at some point. Mistico catches Sydal in La Mistica. He is about to tap when Aerostar gits a Slingshot Legdrop to break it up. Sydal is out the ring holding his shoulder while Aerostar and Mistico go at it. Aerostar hits a few knee strikes then goes for a Hurracanrana but Mistico turns it into a an Alabama Slam. He covers 1.. 2..
No! Aerostar kicks out. Mistico hits the ropes but Aerostar leapfrogs him but Mistico dives thru the ropes onto Sydal. Now here cones Aerostar and he dives on them both as well. Slowly all three men return to the ring. They start trading forearms. Matt does a Legsweep on Mistico. Aerostar then does a Flying Headscissors on Sydal. Then a Double foot stomp on Mistico. He covers for two. Sydal Germans Aerostar for two. But right after the kickout Sydal is dropped with a superkick from Mistico. Sydal down in the corner. Aerostar and Mistico do a criss cross. Mistico drops down then pops up for a Leap Frog but Aerostar catches him and does a sitout Powerbomb. 1.. 2.. No!
They now trade elbows. Mistico hits the ropes. He ducks a clothesline and executes La Mistica on Aerostar! He is in the center of the ring and is about to tap. When Sydal has climbed up top. Shooting Star Press on top of both men! He covers Mistico, 1.. 2.. 3!
(Out walks the Trios champions, The New Latino Nightmare and Carlos Colon. Colon says due to their actions on the last show they were left off tonight's card. Carlos says that's Okay. He needed to make an example out of Juventud Guerrera. No one better run their mouth about He or his family or suffer the consequences. Then he also stated that the World 6-Man Tag Team Champions, The Riot Squad are running scared. They know they have never seen a force like his Nightmare and very soon the titles will be theirs.)

7. Shinsuke Nakamura w/Black Lotus vs Rey Mysterio Jr
This match was made after both men wanted a shot at the Aztec Champion. Regardless Nakamura is the number 1 contender but a victory tonight for Rey could get him right back in the title hunt. We notice Melina Perez is once again in the audience to watch this match. Its a fast paced affair but that works in Rey's favor. Some arm drags and a few Headscissors have Shinsuke off balance. But Rey tries a Cross Body and is caught. 2 Side Backbreakers by Nakamura. He lays Rey on the top Buckle, then backs away. Then charges with a high knee lift right to the ribs of Mysterio Jr. Nakamura has Rey down in the corner and begins grinding his foot into the clavicle of the Legendary Luchador.
Nakamura looks for his Inverted Exploder but rey lands some knees and escapes and dropkicks Naka in the back and he falls into the ropes. Rey goes for the 619 but Shhinsuke has it scouted and evades it and counters with a Knee strike that sends Rey to the floor. Nakamura follows out there and hits a Reverse Suplex right on the floor. Naka looks to send Rey into the railing but Rey jumps on it and uses it as a Springboard and catches Nakamura with a Flying Cutter.
Both men are down. The crowd is on their feet chanting for Mysterio. No countouts in the Temple so the referee just makes sure neither is injured and then backs off. Both men slowly stir. They both climb up to the apron. Lotus is yelling something to Nakamura in Japanese. Now Melina who is rinside is yelling in Spanish to Rey. As they both face each other Shinsuke hits an Axe Kick on Rey. Then he hooks him for a Piledriver on the apron! Rey fights it. He then Rey is now trying to get what looks like a Fisherman Buster out there. But Naka gets out of that and gets Rey on his shoulders... Death Valley Driver on the apron!!! The crowd is chanting "Holy Shit!" Lotus instructs Nakamura to end it. He rolls Rey into the ring. Nakamura backs off, readying for the Boma Ye. He charges... but Rey drop toe holds him right into the ropes. Rey jumps up... 619!!!!! He drops the Dime! 1.. 2.. 3!!!
Winner: Rey Mysterio Jr
(After the match. Lotus cracks Rey with the Kendo Stick across the back. The crowd is booing. She winds up to strike again when rushing into the ring and snatching the stick away is Melina! Lotus is yelling that she can't be in there, but Melina takes a swing that Lotus barely ducks and she wisely scrambles out the ring.)
8. Sabu & Texano vs King Cuerno & Pedro Morales w/Chicky Starr - Temple of Doom Match
This match is a war. A Temple of Doom match are Falls count anywhere and there are weapons around the Temple to use. All of it takes place throughout the Temple. They never fight in the ring. Sabu and Cuerno brawling on one end, Pedro and Texano in the other. Texano finds a Chain and begins pounding Pedro with it. Meanwhile Cuerno is choking Sabu with a Leather strap.
The brawl continues as Sabu smashes a broomstick over Cuerno's head. He tosses him on a merchandise table and climbs to the top of Dario's office. e does a Moonsault off it but KC had moved and Sabu went right thru the table. Cuerno crawled over and covered for a near fall. Chicky hands Morales a Grabage can which he uses on Texano. He then lays in on the ground and Suplexes Texano on iy. The crowd lets out a groan after that. Pedro covers the anguished Texano. 1.. 2..
No! Pedro locks on a Boston Crab. Cuerno goes for the Thrill of the Hunt on Sabiu but he floats out and hits a Back Suplex into the broken table. The action has moved and all 4 men are on the same side now. Sabu sees Texano in the Boston Crab and cracks Pedro with a piece of the broken Table. Chicky tosses the chain from earlier to Cuerno. He lays out Sabu with it. He scoops him up. Thrill of the Hunt! 1.. 2..
Texano smashes a Mariachi guitar right over Cuerno's head. He turns and Pedro gives him a Spinebuster. He locks on the Boston Crab. The ref is asking Texano but Texano who is almost out from the pain points over at Cuerno and Sabu. The ref sees Sabu's arm is draped over Cuerno. He counts 1.. 2.. 3!
Both men are receiving chants from the Temple. We see once again Melina Perez at her seat watching the action. They acknowledge the crowd then shake hands. Very clean Mat based style early on but that's not what these guys do best and soon enough the risks start to get bigger as the High Flying spectacle we all expected begins to take shape. Fenix Takes Puma to the floor with a Hip toss over the ropes then follows with a corkscrew Plancha. Fenix returns to the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Puma shakes it off and returns. He hits a low kick the whips Fenix into the ropes. Fenix slides thru the legs of Puma Then does a Hurracanrana but Puma lands on his feet and connects on a Spinning Heel Kick. Release German Suplex by Puma. Fenix is dazed... Puma-Plexes (Northern Lights Suplex followed by a deadlift Vertical Suplex). The crowd gives a great ovation for that as Puma now goes up top for the 630. He leaps but Fenix rolls away. Puma however lands on his feet as he realized Fenix had moved. But when he turns Fenix dropkicks his leg and then DDT's Puma from his knees. He covers 1.. 2..
No! Puma kicks out. Fenix continues the assault. He goes to the apron and hits La Garra del Fénix (Diving double knee drop to a seated opponent's chest) He again covers but Prince Puma kicks out before 3. Fenix tries for a Hurracanrana but Puma counters into a Copter Bomb! 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! This is Awesome Chants ring out as both men lie in the ring exhausted. They know this isn't over though and struggle to continue. Fenix lands a hard forearm shot that knocks Puma back into the ropes but he rebounds with a Superman Punch that rocks Fenix. He He hits a one knee Codebreaker. Puma is feeling it. He puts Fenix on his shoulders and does an Electric Chair Suplex! Both men's shoulders are down! 1.. 2.. 3!
Who won??? The referee raises the hand of
Winner: Fenix
(As we see a replay we see as the ref is counting Fenix lifts his shoulder off the ground. But Puma is complaining to the ref. We then see another replay from the reverse angle and there we see Puma had gotten his shoulder up. The referee never saw that and counted the pin. Puma is exasperated as Fenix celebrates a hard fought win. He offers Puma a hand shake. But Puma is besides himself and just turns and walks away to a spattering of boos.)
Main Event: Alberto Del Rio vs Konnan - CWX Universal Championship
Konnan Asked Dario for this opportunity. Dario was reluctant but told Konnan he would owe him a favor in the future. Konnan agreed. Now Alberto who has had a litany of challengers since winning this title has one different than all the rest. Konnan can brawl with the best but his real strength is on the mat. Alberto can hold his own in that regard but he is more of a striker. Which of these "TWO STYLES!" wins out.
Sure enough Konnan quickly takes this match to the mat. He is stretching ADR as he can. Del Rio is able to switch out of a lot of the holds but usually Konnan finds a way to regrasp the upper hand. Alberto does a nice switch and sit out and pops back up which gets a round of appreciative applause from the Temple.
They tie up and Alberto lands a knee and a scoop slam. He drops an elbow but misses. Konnan drops a knee but misses as well. Del Rio primes for his Low Angle Superkick but Konnan had it scouted and rolled backwards away from harm. Konnan points at his head as if to say he knew it was coming. They tie up again and Konnan lays in a hard chop to the chest. ADR retaliates with one of his own. then they start trading chops. The blows are echoing through the Temple. Soon they turn from chops to punches and a fight breaks out.
Konnan has the bigger punches and sends Alberto into the ropes for his Rolling Thunder Clothesline but when he rolls he is met with Alberto's Superkick! He covers! 1.. 2.. NO! Alberto then goes right after the arm of Konnan. Hitting an Atomic Armbreaker. Then Divorce court. He tries for the Cross Armbreaker but Konnan grasps his hands together to save himself. Alberto is holding on but in a great feat of strength Konnan Lifts Alberto off the mat and suplexes him dowm. Konnan then slaps on the Tequila Sunrise submission. ADR is yelling out and the fans think we may have a title switch right here. ADR is fighting with all he got and barley makes the rope break.
They continue to battle on. Alberto takes a wild swing but Konnan blocks it and hits a STO. Both men are weary. Konnan knows its now or never. He goes for the 187 but ADR was playing possum... He counters into a Rolling Cross Armbreaker and Konnan is center ring. He tries to hold out as long as he can but must eventually tap.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(Alberto and Konnan get a standing ovation from the crowd. But out walks Dario from his office and with him is the Monster, Matanza. They just stare at the Universal Champion as the show ends.)
