1. NextGen Battle Royal (Mario Bokara, Anthony Bowens, Fallah Bah, The Rascalz, HIKULEO, Sammy Guevara, DOUKI, Caleb Conley, Tony Nese, Robbie Eagles & Trent Baretta)
The young guys get to show a little on the opener. The Rascalz are causing havoc as they Eliminate Guevara, Baretta & DOUKI but Wentz is tossed out by HIKULEO. Fallah Bah eliminates Nese. Eagles is able to execute a Hurracanrana that sends Trey Miguel to the floor. HIKULEO and Bah begin crashing into one another. Bah gets staggered by the ropes and everyone left work together to get him out. Bokara eliminates Conley. But is then clotheslined over the top by Bowens.
That leaves Bowens, Desmond Xavier, Robbie Eagles and the huge Tongan, HIKULEO. Xavier and Eagles work together as they attack HIKULEO with kicks and chops but he weathers the storm and shoves them down to the mat Bowens charges but right into a big boot. He puts him on his shoulders to throw him out but as he approaches the ropes Eagles and Desmond kick out both his legs he falls to his knees as Bowens lands on the apron. Double kick to HIKULEO by Eagles & Xavier. but when they turn around they are met with a Springboard Double Clothesline by Anthony Bowens.
HIKULEO has Xavier and puts him over the top rope but Desmond has a front chancery locked in and wont let go. HIKULEO is being weakened and is slowly being pulled over. Bowens and Eagles run over and finish the job by grabbing his legs and flipping him to the floor. Desmond who was still on the apron tries to do his own slingshot move back in but is hit with an Eagles Superkick that sends him to the floor. Bowens sends Robbie over but he skins the cat. He catches an unaware Bowens with a Reverse Frankensteiner. He sends Anthony over the top....
But he skins the cat too! Robbie sees this though and charges but right into an Overhead Belly to Belly that sends Robbie flying to a sick bump out on the floor.
Winner: Anthony Bowens
2. The Ascension vs The Young Bucks - XWA Tag Team Championship
The Champions are not joined by The Fallen Angel tonight which really works in the Bucks favor. And they use that advantage quickly as they dominate the early going of the match but Nick is caught with a Spinning Spinebuster by Viktor. The Ascension go on the offense for a while. Konnor hits a Powerslam from the 2nd rope for a near fall. But then the YB make a rally and go for More Bang For your Buck on Viktor. They hit it. Then when the ref drops down the lights go out. When they return The Fallen Angel is at ringside looking angry. Viktor has gotten back to his corner and in comes Konnor.
The battle continues a bit as Caruso points out if the lights didn't go out when they did we may have new Champions already. Things breakdown eventually as The Bucks hit a Superkick Party on Konnor. They are going for the Indytaker but Daniels grabs the leg of Nick and he crashes into Viktor and Matt. Konnor delivers the Downward Spiral to Matt and gets the 3 count.
Winners & STILL Champions: The Ascension
(The Young Bucks protest and we get a decision that Father Daniels interfered and the decision is reversed.)
Winners By DQ: The Young Bucks
(But the title doesn't change hands on a disqualification so The Ascension retain. Saxton calls this a moral victory for the Bucks.)
3. Aja Kong & Dump Matsumoto w/Gedo vs The Canadian Ninjas
Gedo had his new team attack the Ninjas at a recent TV Taping. A save was made by the NextGen Team, The iiConics. The Ninjas have been in a bit of a more no-nonsense mood since losing the World Tag belts. But this is different, now they're pissed. Kong and Dump have the obvious size advantage and use that early on the try to control the pace. Dump hits a running Powerslam on Matthews. Aja Choke Slams Portia. Aja goes to hit the ropes and Nicole holds the top rope down causing Kong to spill to the floor. Baseball Slide by Perez that drives Kong into the steel barrier.
The iiConics come out to the ramp to watch the match. Perez goes to apron and jumps at Aja with a Double Axe Handle but Kong catches her and dumps her into the crowd. The ref is trying to restore order and doesn't see Gedo trip up Matthews which allows Matsumoto to drop a giant legdrop on her. She covers for two. The iiConics did see it however and come down ringside and chase Gedo back up the ramp as the crowd cheers.
The match evens out from this point with both teams gaining some near falls. Matthews hits the Vancouver Maneuver on Kong. She covers but the ref is distracted by Gedo on the apron. Perez pulls him off the apron and drops him with a Superkick. In the ring Dump hits Nicole with a Corner Avalanche. She nails a seated Splash. 1.. 2.. Broken up by Portia! Aja runs in. She goes for the Spinning Backfist but Perez ducks and Kong drops Matsumoto with it. Matthews gives Aja an inverted Suplex. Kong rolls to the floor as the Ninjas hit Dump with Northern Lights-Out. 1.. 2.. 3!
Winners: The Canadian Ninjas
(After the iiConics come to the ring and lift the Ninjas hands in victory.)
4. Kenny Omega vs Dolph Ziggler
Kenny has been on a winning streak and Dolph has come up short in some Title matches as of late. Good time to get back on track tonight. This is really fun back and forth tug of war. Both men hitting their signature spots. Kenny hits a Dr Willy Bomb followed by a Kotaro Krusher (Leapfrog transitioned into a one-handed bulldog). He covers for 2. Later Dolph hits a German then as Kenny slowly rises in the corner he hits a Stinger Splash. He then gives him the Takeover (Fireman's Carry Gutbuster). He covers 1.. 2..
No. Dolph sets up for the Zig Zag but Omega hooks the ropes. Then he nails Dolph with not one but 2 V-Triggers. Then a Reverse Frankensteiner. He hoists him up... One-Winged Angel connects. Omega gets the 3 count.
Winner: Kenny Omega
5. Finn Balor vs Will Ospreay w/Priscilla - World Junior Heavyweight Championship
When this match was signed it was Hayabusa that was scheduled to defend tonight. Finn decided he would honor the previously signed deal. The 2 men meet center ring and shake hands. The bell rings and we're off. This is a wild one that the fans loved. Finn hits Will with a Shotgun Dropkick that sends him crashing into the buckle. Ospreay hits the Champ with Pip Pip Cheerio (Springboard Forearm Smash). Ospreay follows with the Hidden Blade and gets a near fall. Balor comes back and connects on a Float over DDT. Balor goes up and hits a Flying Senton. 1.. 2..
No. Will kicks out. Balor goes for Bloody Sunday but Ospreay is able to counter into a Corkscrew falling Stunner. He follows with The Robinson Special (720° to the back of the head of a rising opponent). Ospreay goes up for the Air Assassin (Imploding 450° Splash). He misses! Balor hits a Sling Blade. He goes up... Coup de Grâce.... but Will moves at the last second and School Boys Finn! 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!! They both hit the ropes and each connect on a Lariat at the same time. Both men are down. Will is up first. He pauses... then goes for the OsCutter. But Balor was ready... He catches him... Reverse Bloody Sunday (Lifting inverted DDT)! Finn goes up again... Coup de Grâce!!! 1.. 2.. 3!!
Winner & STILL Champion: Finn Balor
6. The Triad w/AJ Lee vs CHAOS w/Gedo - World 6-Man Championship
Gedo has been trying to get his men a title shot for a while but despite his teams winning streak they are never put in the rankings. So tonight they have a chip on their shoulder and it shows as they dispense with any wrestling and just turn this into a fight from the opening bell. Referee Paul Turner is letting it go as this is for the World titles. Ishii hits Joe with a stiff headbutt that busts him open. Punk catches Okada with a high knee followed by a Bulldog. Nakamura has Daniel laying across the top buckle and he hits a running high knee right into his solar plexus.
The fight continues as we see Bryan laying in the YES kicks on Ishii. Okada gives Punk the Over The Knee Reverse Neckbreaker. A bloody Joe and Nakamura are brawling at ringside. Joe gives him an Exploder out on the floor. Okada nails Bryan with the Okada Dropkick. He poses for the Rainmaker. He gets him up but Punk grabs his arm and puts him in an Anaconda Vice. Punk is being asked but before he can answer Joe is back in and stomping Okada. Ishii German Suplexes Samoa Joe then hits a Sliding Lariat. He covers for 2. Shinsuke is readying and as he comes charging with the Boma Ye he is met with Knee Plus (Running single leg high knee) from Daniel Bryan. He covers and gets the 3 count.
Winners & STILL Champions: The Triad
7. Kevin Steen vs El Generico w/Heyman - Mask vs XWA Career
This feud between Steen & Generico has been going on for 8 months with blood spilled, injuries and a constant one upping of each other. Tonight Kevin wants this to end. By taking Generico's identity while Generico and Heyman want Steen gone from XWA altogether. This one is not for the weak at heart. These two men are not trying to win. They want to maim each other. Generico gives Steen a Hot Shott across the steel ring barrier. Kevin's face is turning red as the referee makes sure he hasn't crushed his wind pipe.
Later Steen has taken a section of the guard railing and laid it flat and gives Generico a Spinebuster on it. Then he goes to the apron and leaps with a Senton. He connects but both men are rolling around in pain. Now Steen grabs Generico for a Package Piledriver on the railing but Generico is able to get free and gives him a Lifting Side Slam onto it. Heyman tosses him a Chair and he slams it across the injured back. Generico tosses Steen in the ring and goes under the ring.... And pulls out a ladder!. He slides that in also. Kevin is just starting to pull himself up in the corner when Generico takes his head off with an Ole Kick!
Generico now sets up the ladder as this is a No DQ Street Fight there's nothing Paul Turner can do. Generico goes to grab Kevin but Steen is firing haymakers that rock the masked man. Then Kevin gives him an Avalanche Swinging Fisherman's Buster. Owens sees the ladder he goes up... Somersault Legdrop off the ladder!!! 1.. 2.. NO! Steen then puts him in a Sharpshooter. Generico is in agony he can't take anymore he raises his hand...
But he refuses to quit no matter the pain. He claws his way and gets to the ropes. Steen is trying to pull him away but Generico is clutching his arms around the bottom rope for dear life. Turner tries to back Steen away but Kevin wont have it he takes Turner and shoves him away then he turns back and is hit with a kick to balls. He hits a Spin-Out Powerbomb. He now climbs the ladder.... Moonsault off the ladder! He covers for 2. Now Generico pulls Kevin up he brings him to the ladder and begins to climb but is pulling Steen along with him. Out of instinct Kevin also climbs. They get to the top and Generico is firing elbows to the head of a dazed Steen. Generico makes a throat slice motion. Then he hooks him for.... a Brainbustah!!!!! on top of the LADDER!!! The crowd is on their feet anticipating the epic disaster this could be for Kevin Steen. He looks to get him up but Steen hooks the rung with his boot. Then hits a few shots to the ribs. He stops the move then gives Generico a Pop-Up Powerbomb from the top of the Ladder!! "Holy Shit!" chants ring out. Heyman is almost in tears. Steen stands on the top rung. BULLFROG SPLASH!!!!
But Generico got his knees up! Heyman is in shock. He looked like he might faint. Kevin is coughing up blood. Generico doesn't know where he is. Heyman is screaming for Generico to finish him. Steen is glassy-eyed in the corner. Generico comes in with an OLe Kick... but Kevin Steen ducks and headbutts El Generico right in the family jewels. Generico is hunched over. Steen grabs him... Package Piledriver!. Steen lays across him. 1.. 2.. 3!!!
Winner: Kevin Steen
(Steen yells at El Generico & Heyman to take it off. Generico grabs a microphone and says to Steen...)
Generico: Kevin.... we have been friends for over 20 years. Because of that, my friend, I ask you...to let this end and we go our separate ways and allow me to keep my mask.
(Kevin Steen looks down at the mat. He nods his head and gives his answer.)
Spoiler:
(The crowd pops and we hear chants of "take it off". Generico finally reaches to his mask and removes it.)
(It's Sami Zayn who has wrestled around the UWF before. He drops the mask on the mat and walks to the back with a dejected Paul Heyman. Steen then picks up the discarded mask before walking out the ring.)
