Strong talks to Aries in the back …. Strong says he is facing Killer Kross tonight and asks if Aries has his back …. Aries says he is his friend and he always has his back …. They broke into this business together and that will never change …. What about Undisputed Era? Strong says that is just a ‘business arrangement’. Aries knows better than anyone that in this business you make a lot of acquaintances but very few friends …. * * * * * SHOW OPENING * * * * * We are in Boston, Massachusetts for MLW at the TD Gardens …. It’s standing room only tonight, and the fans are RABID as Pyro erupts from the ringposts and above the entranceway …. We get camera pans over the capacity crowd as MAURO and PAT MCAFEE billboard tonight’s show, welcoming those at home and setting up what we are going to see tonight …. We get a video recap of FIGHTLAND #2
• Becky Lynch defeated Bianca BelAir in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, but Lacey Evans saved BelAir from a post match beatdown ….
• Bobby Roode defeated Jungle Boy with help from The North
• Solo Sikoa made his MLW debut
• Tian Sha was victorious over Tegan Nox & Dakota Kai
• Charlotte Flair made her surprising debut, calling out Raquel Gonzalez …. Flair claimed that Gonzalez holds a title that she never lost, and indicated that she would not ‘get in line’ for a title shot …. Gonzalez accepted her challenge for a match TONIGHT …. Mauro and Pat take note that a steel cage is hanging ominously above the ring for tonight’s show ahead of next week’s steel cage match between Adam Cole and Killer Kross …. Roderick Strong makes his way out, but instead of having the rest of the Undisputed Era with him, he has Austin Aries in his corner …. Kross and Scarlett make their way out, and that match will kick off tonight’s show ….

KILLER KROSS VS. RODERICK STRONG w/ Austin AriesIt is strange that the Undisputed Era is not out here with Strong, but Austin Aries is …. Kross dominates early, tossing Strong around the ring with his power advantage …. Aries distracts Kross, allowing Strong to hit a dropkick …. Strong takes over, showing his power in hitting several backbreakers on Kross …. Kross stops all that with a roundhouse kick and then lines him up for the Order 66 but Aries is on the apron …. Aries gets hit with the forearm, allowing Strong to hit a jumping knee and then he hits End of Heartache BUT KROSS KICKS OUT AT 2!!!! Kross fires up and hits a Doomsday Clock on Strong, then sizes him up …. Execute Order 66 (killshot forearm) finishes Strong for the 3 count ….

POST MATCH: Cole, Fish and O’Reilly hit the ring and jump on Kross 3 on 1 as the cage starts to lower! Kross turns the tables and starts fighting off the UE, and they quickly bail out as the cage lowers, leaving Kross in the ring with just Strong and Aries! Kross hits Strong with a Doomsday Clock while never breaking eye contact with Cole …. He picks Strong up and locks on the Kross Jacket Choke, choking Strong out as he stares down Cole and is screaming his name!!!! Cole looks afraid as Fish & O’Reilly drag him to the back …. IN THE BACK – Miro is in a dark room, and he cuts an ominous promo ….
MIRO: “There are people here that have accepted things that don’t belong to them. People like Will Ospreay, people like Davey Boy Smith Jr. … I am a reasonable man, so I will forgive you, but you must know that standing between a righteous man and his path is like standing between a cleaver and it’s meat! My vindication will come, either at their expense, or the expense of every champion in this company. Donald Trump can put me through all the hoops and diversions they want, but they cannot keep me from my divine right. No one can!!!! I WILL fulfill my destiny of becoming a champion. So, if you work for this company, and you have gold around your waist, I highly recommend you disappear, before I come looking for you. If you have a title, or a briefcase, you’ve got a problem. So I guess the real question now is, whose attention will I get first? .…

JORDYNNE GRACE VS. RED VELVETGrace charges at the bell and tackles Velvet back into the corner, laying in some shoulder blocks …. Velvet with some rights, but Grace catches her off the ropes and hits a spinning worlds strongest slam …. Grace is in control but Velvet fights back with an enziguri …. Velvet tries to pick up the pace but walks right into a spinebuster from Grace …. Finally, Grace picks her up in a Torture Rack and finishes it for the tapout to win her debut match ….

IN THE BACK – Roderick Strong confronts the rest of the Undisputed Era and wants to know why the hell they left him hanging out there …. Cole is apologizing to Strong when Aries busts in and he’s pissed too …. He goes after Cole, but Strong has to hold him back …. Aries tells Strong that the UE are not his friends! Cole tells Aries to look around and think it through because there are 4 of them and only 1 of Aries …. Aries says he only sees 3 …. Cole looks at Strong and asks ‘Is that true Roddy?’ …. Strong says yes and turns to stand next to Aries …. O’Reilly tells Strong he’s making a mistake, and Roddy says ‘Let’s find out.’ Aries then challenges ReDragon to fight him and Strong on the New Years Eve edition of FIGHTLAND!!!! Strong and Aries leave together! As Mauro and Pat talk about the brewing problems in the Undisputed Era, up next we will see Will Ospreay in action. Mauro reminds everyone that Ospreay has the MLW title shot briefcase affording him a title shot at any time ….

WILL OSPREAY VS. CARMELLO HAYESGood, competitive match that shows off what Ospreay can do …. The action goes back and forth for a few moments, but Ospreay scores with the Hidden Blade followed by Stormbreaker to put Hayes away ….

POST MATCH: As Ospreay pauses at the top of the ramp to hold up the briefcase, he is confronted by Paul Heyman! Heyman says something to Ospreay and hands him something (a card perhaps?) and smiles …. * * * IN THE BACK * * *
Raquel Gonzalez and the rest of Valifornia are in the locker room …. Chelsea Green still isn’t too happy about Raquel hitting her by mistake during her confrontation with Charlotte Flair on FIGHTLAND #2 …. Gonzalez apologizes for what happened, but tells So Cal Val and Green to stay in the back for this one …. She is going to do this alone …. * * * IN-RING PROMO * * * LACEY EVANS comes out on the stage for an interview with CHARLY CARUSO …. Evans will make her in-ring debut on FIGHTLAND #3 …. Evans says that she came to MLW for a clean slate but apparently Becky Lynch has a problem with her because she interrupts her every chance she gets …. Evans is playing an ‘all american’ girl gimmick now …. Lacey is very genuine here, not over the top with this new character …. …. She talks about her past serving in the Marine Corps and her family values etc. about standing up for what is right …. Evans points out her daughter sitting in the front row, and she talks about how your responsibilities change when your children are watching you …. Total white meat babyface here …. She is a strong, sophisticated woman and has a right to stand up for what she believes in …. A ‘womans right’ …. Evans wants her baby girl to know that she can achieve anything she wants as long as she works hard and stands up for what’s right …. Becky Lynch used to do that …. She was supposedly here for the fans who made her who she was, but then she turned around and called them fickle …. That makes Becky Lynch a liar …. She knows her daughter is always watching her and she is going to know that her momma has a responsibility to stand up to bullies like Becky …. * * * IN THE BACK * * *
We get a promo from Bobby Roode and The North …. Ethan Page pats on the tag title shot briefcase and says it looks like there is trouble in paradise with the UE, and that is ‘undisputed’ …. They will be watching Fightland #3 very closely …. Jungle Boy interrupts and says he isn’t done with Bobby Roode …. Roode tells him to just go away and it looks like the North are about to jump Jungle Boy but Luchasaurus shows up and has Jungle Boy’s back …. The North back down, and Jungle Boy challenges them to a tag team match at Fightland 3

DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. VS. JOSH WOODSMauro and Pat talk about how Smith has the Openweight title shot briefcase and had a face to face with champion Samoa Joe at FIGHTLAND #2 …. Woods looks impressive and matches power and striking with Smith Jr. early in the match, but Smith hits a big overhead belly to belly suplex …. Smith hits the delayed vertical suplex for a 2 count, and Woods starts to fire up for a moment before Smith stops him with the running powerslam …. Smith finishes Woods with the Bulldog Bite (Dragon Clutch) and Woods taps out ….

POST MATCH: Pat McAfee interviews Davey Boy Smith Jr. at ringside and asks when he is going to cash in his Openweight title shot …. However, before Smith can even answer, all of a sudden MIRO shows up in the crowd and he is carrying Tyson Kidd on his shoulder!!!! Miro dumps Kidd over the railing and leaves him at ringside, while Smith rushes to check on his tag team partner …. Miro leaves through the crowd, looking into the camera and asking “DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION NOW???” * * * IN THE BACK * * *
We get a pre-taped promo from Candice LeRae …. Candice says that she just left the hospital and had to have 25 pieces of glass pulled out of her back. But she is feeling no pain right now because she knows that Mickie James had to have the same if not more pulled out of her back. She says that is going to make it a little more uncomfortable for Mickie when Storm & Grimes run the train on her later ….
Candice takes off her shirt and shows her back to the camera, revealing the marks on her back from the glass ….
She says these marks on her back aren’t going to stop her from being at FIGHTLAND on New Years Eve, and if Mickie wants to finish what they started at MLW #42, they can leave the boys at home and they can fight at FIGHTLAND #3 ….

MLW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: (Champion) RAQUEL GONZALEZ VS. CHARLOTTE FLAIRThe crowd chants for Raquel, which makes Charlotte flip them off and let out a ‘Woooooo’ …. Charlotte is extra arrogant in this match …. Raquel overpowers her and sends her to the floor, but Charlotte turns the tide and sends Gonzalez into the front row with a big boot that takes her over the railing …. Charlotte with chops, but Gonzalez no sells and hits a fallaway slam …. Charlotte with a chop block to the knee and then follows with the figure four around the ringpost! Gonzalez fights out and reverses the hold, but the damage has been done here …. Gonzalez shoots Charlotte into the corner and she flips upside down to land on the apron …. She runs down the apron and goes to the top, but Gonzalez catches her coming down with a huge lariat! Charlotte kicks out at 2!!!! Gonzalez goes for the Chingona Bomb, but the bad knee buckles and Charlotte nearly steals the match with a rollup and her feet on the ropes! Another chop block and Charlotte goes for the Figure 8 …. She bridges! Gonzalez will not tap out and she claws her way to the ropes to break the hold …. Gonzalez rolls to the floor, and Charlotte follows her out and they exchange shots on the apron …. Charlotte knocks Raquel to the floor, then she goes up top …. SKYTWISTER PRESS TAKES OUT GONZALEZ!!!! Both women are down as the ref puts on the count …. Charlotte stirs and looks to beat the count back into the ring, but Gonzalez, on one leg, pulls her back and keeps her from getting back in! Gonzalez with a powerbomb on Charlotte onto the ring apron!!!! Charlotte is hurt, but Gonzalez is down on the floor clutching her knee and is unable to beat the count back in as well! Both women are counted out! ….

POST MATCH: Both women have an intense staredown, with Charlotte’s back hurt and Gonzalez’s knee hurt as nothing has obviously been settled between these two …. - Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus vs. The North - Lacey Evans in-ring debut - Candice LeRae vs. Mickie James - MLW Tag Team titles: Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilley vs. Roderick Strong & Austin Aries | |
