Gordon : Hello and wow what an amazing introduction by Sylvester Stallone . Welcome to a sold out Madison Square Garden . We have two days of Wrestlemania here . Tonight 6 matches and tomorrow night six matches . Joining me tonight on co hosting duties a world renowned wrestler . Mr . Gorgeous George Wagner .
Wagner : Mr . Solie , I know the pleasure is all yours . At the end of the weekend , I will have a surprise announcement that was in-trusted to me by Vince McMahon , but tonight it’s about Wrestlemania . All the bright lights and the stars are out , but no star brighter than me .
Gordon : Well interesting comments to say the least . Let’s go to the ring for our first match .
Taz vs Goldust : Before the match Jimmy Lennon Jr tells us that this is a survival match . The loser of this match will go on to face Honky Tonk Man Wayne Farris on tv next week to keep their spot in the WWF . Taz goes right at Goldust , hitting a series of Suplexes . He then goes for T Bone Suplex , but Goldust is able to grab the rope and keep himself from going over . He elbows Taz to the side of the head and then a drop-down punch , sends Taz spiraling out of the ring . Goldust with a baseball slide dropkick hurls Taz into the railing . Taz grabs his ribs . Goldust rolls his man back in and goes in after him . Taz goes for a side saltue Suplex and gets it , but grabs at his ribs . When he slowly approaches Goldust , he runs into a big foot . Goldust gets up and now just works a simple Bearhug . Gordon and Wagner talk about how this move is not in Goldust’s arsenal. Wagner tells us today it is because Taz’s ribs hurt . Taz gets his base . Release Over The Head Belly to Belly Suplex . Taz again grabs at the ribs . Goldust up to his feet , Kneelift blast Taz and then a Bionic Elbow . He then hits Final Curtain for 3 !!!
Gordon : A upset here .
Wagner ; Upset yes , but let’s talk about the fact that Goldust not only just beat a former World Television Champion , Mr . Solie , but dominated him .
Gordon : I wouldn’t say dominate.
Wagner : Then you’re watching another match Mr . Solie . Do you have Gateway on your monitor ?
Gordon : It’s going to be a long night . Let’s get back up to the ring for our next match .
NWA National Tag Team Titles Stan Hansen and Terry Funk vs Bob and Brad Armstrong : The Armstrongs start off very fast . Funk thought he would throw Brad off by charging at the younger man , but Brad hits a back body drop and then a dropkick . From there a left arm ringer and tags in Bob . Bob blast Funk with a chop to the chest and tags Brad back in . Funk rakes the eyes and then a clothesline . He Bodyslams Brad and then slams his head into his corner turnbuckle and tags in Hansen . Hansen lays in some big nasty knees to the gut and then a big elbow smash to the head . He and Funk use double teams on Brad , while Bob waits on the corner . Wagner criticizes Bob for noe trying to get in and help his son . Gordon tells Wagner , that by not rushing the ring , he’s helping Brad , because Hansen and Funk are having to be watched by the ref at all times . Wagner says that makes sense . Right on cue , Hansen misses an elbow drop and Brad makes him eat a dropkick and tags in Bob . Bob with a Superkick on Hansen !!! 1………2………Funk breaks it up !!!! Brad goes to help his father and Funk knees him in the gut coming in and then a Piledriver and kicks Brad out of the ring . Bob stagers to his feet . Larait !!!!! Hansen covers 1………..2……….3 !!!!
Gordon : And that’s all she wrote . This team of Hansen and Funk are a force .
Wagner : Odd . Bob wouldn’t come in to help his son , but as soon as his father was in trouble , Brad tried to save him .
Gordon : Mr . Wagner , I think you’re trying to find an issue where there I no issue.
Wagner : Perhaps Mr . Solie . Oh we have a good one here . Tiger Mask is going to be deported back to Japan tonight .
Gordon : I wouldn’t exactly say that . He doe have an opportunity to win the WWF Cruiserweight Championship. That match is up next .
WWF Cruiserweight Championship CM Punk ( w/ Fred Blassie ) vs Tiger Mask : The two open with some great countering and chain wrestling . They both try for round kicks and miss . They bump into each other mid ring and hit the mat and Kip up to their feet at the same time . They circle and it’s Tiger with the first move . A deep arm drag and then a step over arm bar . Punk works to his feet . He pushes Tiger back toward the ropes and Blassie grabs the leg . Punk unloads with a spinning back hand and then a front kick that knocks Tiger down to the floor . Wagner comments that Mr . Blassie has taught the young man well . That front kick was almost as good as his . Punk goes up top and comes off with a Randy Savage flying double axe handle to Tiger’s back ! Punk now goes for a Piledriver on the floor , but Tiger backdrops out of it . Punk lands on Blassie . Tiger rolls back in the ring . Punk and Blassie are getting to their feet ……. FLYING TIGER SPACEDROP !!!!!! Tiger rolls Punk back in . Tiger goes up top . Flying Cross Body . Punk catches him and puts him on his shoulders for the GTS , but Tiger rolls it into a Crucifix Slam and pin , but only gets two .
Tiger up to his feet . Spinning jump back kick by Tiger . Double Underhook Suplex !!! Punk flies and lands on the second rope . Tiger Feint Kick !!! Tiger pulls his man up . Tiger Driver ‘85 !!! 1………2………Blassie puts Punk’s foot in the ropes and points it out to the ref ! Tiger pulls his man up , Bridging German Suplex !!!!! 1………..2………Punk rolls out . Leaping Calf Kick by Punk !! Punk now with a snap Suplex !!! From there he hits a spinning neck breaker !!! Punk hits a Piledriver !!! He covers 1………2……..Noooooo !!l Tiger with a foot on the ropes ! Punk pulls Tiger up and whips him in the corner . Punk with a running Kneelift and Bulldog !!! Punk now locks in the Anaconda Vice !!! Tiger very close to tapping , but somehow maneuvers and contorts his body to make it to the ropes for the break .
Punk with two European Uppercuts and then pulls his man up into his shoulders for the GTS !!! Tiger gets out the back though and gets off a Release German !!! Tiger now goes up . He waits as Punk staggers to his feet . Top Rope Drop Kick . Punk pushes the ref in the way ! The move draws boos from the crowd . Punk shrugs his shoulders as to say ooops . Punk pulls Tiger up . GTS !!!! Punk covers as Blassie revives the ref . 1……..2…….Nooooo !!!! Tiger kicks out . Punk pounds the mat in frustration. He goes to pull Tiger up , but Tiger hits a Saito Suplex !!! Tiger sets for a Tombstone, but Blassie hooks his leg with his cane . This trips up Tiger . Punk lands on top and grabs the top rope for leverage . The ref doesn’t notice . Tiger’s shoulders are down . 1…….2……3 !!!
Gordon : A rather controversial win for CM Punk .
Wagner : Now from what I understand Tiger Mask has to leave . Correct .
Gordon : Yes , it was part of the stipulation he made to get this match . Well good riddance . I will say Mr . Punk has my full endorsement. What a champion .
Gordon : Well we are far from done . We have more action now . Let’s go to the ring .
NWA World Television Title Roddy Piper vs David Von Erich : Michael Hayes comes out and David points to the back . Out comes his manager when ever he’s in Japan , Hiro Matsuda . Hayes nods in agreement, he shakes Hiro’s hand and takes his leave . As David goes to lock up , Piper thumbs him in the eye and then Piper kicks him in the gut and slams his head into the turnbuckles . He stomps on David until he rolls out of the ring . David in the outside , grabs Piper’s leg and pulls him out . David slams Roddy’s head into the ring apron . Then , under guidance of Matsuda rolls Piper back in and works a two handed claw hold on the left shoulder . Piper gets to the ropes , David strikes him in the throat of the break . Wagner tells Gordon , that David is out Pipering Piper . Von Erich with a Bulldog and now under Matsuda’s advice puts a claw hold on Piper’s stomach. Gordon tells us that he uses that claw like a lethal weapon, when Matsuda is near .
Piper is having to battle the pain of the claw and keep his shoulders off the mat . Piper reaches up grabs two handfuls of hair . He pulls David off him . Piper now lays down heavy handed punches . He gets to his feet and starts stomping on David . He knees him in the face several times in the corner breaking just before 5 . Now he two hand chokes Piper in the corner and hip tosses him out . Piper puts on uses a surfboard stretch . He’s yelling at Von Erich . David gets to the ropes for the break . He backdrops Piper over the top rope .
The two exchange punches on the floor . They somehow both make it back in the ring . Piper now shows off his boxing skills . He drills David with a right to the jaw . He covers 1…..2…..Noooo . Piper now waits until he gets to his feet . Piper puts on his sleeper !!! David fights for all he’s worth . He falls into the ropes . Piper on David’s back falls outside the ring . Piper puts something in his hands . He gets up on the ring apron and David meets him and Suplexes him back in , Piper in mid air blast David and he goes down quickly . Piper is on top and gets the 3 !!!
Gordon : There appears to be a bunch of quarters in the ring . Apparently Piper used a roll of quarters .
Wagner : I think this New York crowd realized what a great match they witnessed . They threw money in the ring .

WWF Tag Team Titles The Mega Powers vs The Gunn Club : Both teams walk out with tag titles . Gordon tells us that the real champions are the Mega Powers , Wagner disputes it as The Gunn Club beat the Mega Powers during the National Tag Tournament. Hogan and Savage are dominating the early going . Lots of power moves that obviously are wearing down Colton and Austin . Hogan goes for a leg drop on Austin , but he moves . He gets the tag to Colton . Colton hits a back stabber on Hogan . Now they work over his back . Tagging in and out , using a Camel Clutch variation. Now Austin hits a back breaker . Colton gets the tag , Full Nelson Slam !!! He covers 1………2……..Nooooooo !
Hogan kicks out . He’s up and fires right hands to Colton . Big Boot . Tags in Savage ! Savage with with a running elbow smash and then and big bodyslam !! He goes up ……. Leaping Elbow Drop !!! 1……….2…….. Austin breaks it up with a kick to the head !!! Famouser by Colton . He gets the tag to Austin . Austin with a Famouser now !! He covers ……1…………2………Hogan breaks it up , dropping an elbow on the back of the head . Leg drop by Hogan on the back of the head . Colton comes rushing in , Savage clotheslines him over the top rope . Hogan puts Austin up on his shoulder . Savage goes up …… Mega Bomb !!! Savage covers 1……..2…….3 !!!

Wagner : How much illegal double teaming by them . The Gunn club does it they get booed out of the building . Hogan and Savage do it and they throw them a parade Mr . Solie .
Gordon : Well some see it differently than you , Mr . Wagner . Right now it’s time for our main event . The NWA World Heavyweight Title is on the line . Let’s go to the ring .
NWA World Heavyweight Title Lex Luger (w Medusa ) vs The Rock : Medusa leads her man down to the ring . Rock lets her know , he’s well aware of her . The two meet in the middle and exchange punches . Rock gets the better of Luger and then spits on his hand and slaps the shit out of him , knocking the World Champion to the mat . Luger staggers and Rock explodes across the ring with a variant of the Ace Bomber ! Luger powders out . Rock goes out after him , smashing Luger’s head on the ring apron and then the time keepers table . Rock rolls Luger back in and before The Rock can get in the ring , Medusa grabs the leg and trips up the Rock . Luger kinda knees him in the gut and then Suplexes him back in . Luger moe feeling humiliated, just rains down punches on Rock , who is now bleeding from the forehead . Luger uses a chinkock to wear Rock down . Rock gets to the ropes . Luger clotheslines him over the top rope down to the floor . Luger hirs a Piledriver on the floor and rolls in the ring . Wagner talks about the brilliant move . Take the count out victory and end the night .
The ref gets to 9 and half and Rock rolls under the ropes . Medusa calls for a second Piledriver . Luger follows her instructions. He hits another Piledriver . Gordon tells us , that’s probably “ that’s all she wrote. “ Luger covers 1………2……..Noooooooo ! Rock is too close to the ropes and gets a foot on them !! Medusa orders Luger to pull Rock to the middle of the ring and finish him . Luger pulls Rock up for a third Piledriver , but Rock counters into Samoan Drop !!!!! Both men stagger to their feet . Rock with a DDT !!! He doesn’t capitalize though . Wagner tells us that the blood loss might be effecting Rock . Luger is up . He hits an elbow drop and covers . 1………..2.,……..Noooooo !!! Rock kicks out ! Luger picks Rock up . Torture Rack !!! Rock gets out the back and puts Luger in a Sleeper !!! Luger goes to one knee and then two ! Rock all of a sudden just stops and falls down !!! It seems as though Wagner’s suspicions are confirmed . Luger now laughing . He kicks one of Rock’s arm and then mocks the People’s Elbow !!!
Rock moves however !! Rock now with a dropkick , knocks Luger backwards into the turnbuckles !! Rock mounts Luger and does the old ten count punch !!! Rock bites Luger on the forehead . Gordon tells us that this is unusual for the Rock . Wagner tells us , it’s probably desperation . Luger now wears the crimson mask !!! Rock unloads another right hand that would make his father proud . Rock pulls Luger to his feet ……. ROCK BOTTOM !!!!!! 1……….2………Medusa puts Luger’s foot on the bottom rope. Rock and Medusa are jawing and Rick Rude comes down to ringside and hands Luger something . Rock spins around and Luger clocks him !!! Luger puts it under his stomach and covers 1……..2.,………Kick out by the Rock !!!!! Wagner tells us , he’s only going on instinct now . Ventura has come
to ringside . Medusa is up on the ring apron . The ref is arguing with her . Rude and Ventura help Lex get a spiked Piledriver on Rock !!! Now the Mega Powers come out . Hogan and Ventura fight it out at ring side . Savage kicks Rude in the nuts and throws him out of the ring . Savage with a DDT on Luger . Savage goes to pull Rock up , but Rock delirious , clotheslines Savage . Hogan sees his partner in trouble and hits an Ace Bomber on Rock ! He and Savage take their leave to a heard of boos . The ref turns around and sees Luger hit a fourth Piledriver on Rock . Luger covers 1……..2…….3 !!!!
Wagner : What does Mike Tyson say about one having a plan until they’re punched in the mouth , Mr . Solie ?!! Rock did not execute his plan , but Lex Luger did .
