Puerto Rico. A Tropical paradise. Beautiful beaches, exotic food and Gorgeous Women. Some refer to the Island as Borinquen, which means "Land of the Valiant Lord". It's a proud land with proud people and it's also a place rich in Pro Wrestling history. That history returns tonight. We bring you the blood & guts tradition of Puerto Rico. We bring you Caribbean Wrestling Xtreme!

Hugo: Hola damas y caballeros! Welcome to Caribbean Wrestling Xtreme! I'm Hugo Savinovich along with my broadcast partner, "Poncharello" Erik Estrada. Welcome Ponch.
Estrada: I prefer Erik. Ponch was just a character.
Hugo: Of course he was Ponch! Fans tonight we have a great show for you. Tonight is round one of our Universal Title Tournament. Our president Carlos Colon hand picked 8 entrants. Do you have a prediction, Ponch?
Estrada: *Sigh* It's hard to say. But 'Ragin Bull' Manny Fernandez might be the favorite.
Hugo: He's a tough guy, He faces Carly Colon in our Main Event. Now let's send it to Lillian Garcia for our opening match.
Garcia: This is a first round match in the CWX Universal Championship tournament.
George "The Animal" Steele vs "The Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant
The Animal beats down Jimmy most of the way. But then Jimmy gets him with a reverse rollup as George was eating the turnbuckle stuffing.
Winner: Jimmy Valiant 11:08

Hugo: We're back. Erik that was a shocking turn in the opener.
Estrada: It really was Hugo. It looked like George Steele had everything under control until his lack of focus cost him.
Hugo: Let's send it to the back and our correspondent, Raquel Reign.
Raquel: Gracias Hugo. I'm here with Hercules Ayala. Ayala you are not part of this tournament.
Ayala: Y porque? Why? Because Carlos Colon has a grudge against me! He is an unfair president. But even if I'm not in the tournament that title is gonna be mine! So whoever wins...get ready...your trouble's just started!
Hugo: our next match featues Invader III taking on the Monster Lumberjack, Joe LeDuc!
Estrada: Monster...Lumberjack???
Hugo: Stay with me Ponch.
Invader III vs Joe LeDuc
III has the speed advantage. But Joe has a huge advantage in size, strength and brutality. After a series of hard headbutts he hits the Canadian Backbreaker for the win.
Winner: Joe LeDuc 7:47
Hugo: Joe LeDuc was impressive!
Estrada: I guess he was a monster afterall
Hugo: We'll be back!

Raquel: I'm here with CWX President, Carlos Colon. How are you Carlos?
Carlos: I'm very excited! This our first TV taping. The crowd is great! It's a big day for us.
Raquel: We heard comments earlier from Hercules Ayala about he being left out of the Universal Championship Tournament.
Carlos: I heard him. The truth is only 8 guys can be entered and he had not come to terms with us before I had 8 guys lined up. I have no ulterior motive. If he wants to get in the title picture all he has to do is get noticed by the board and he'll get his opportunity.
Raquel: Well thank you, Carlos.
Carlos: De Nada
Lillian Garcia: This next match is a first round Universal Title tournament match.
TNT vs Pedro Morales
TNT uses a lot of Martial Arts kicks and chops. to wear down Pedro. But soon Pedro gets fired up and makes a comeback. He hits a backbreaker then the Caribbean Cannonball (Running Senton). He gets he 3 count.
Winner: Pedro Morales 9:55
Hugo: The legend Pedro Morales moves on, Ponch.
Estrada: I told you my name is Erik!
Hugo: Sheesh! What a grouch. We shoulda got the white guy.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Hugo: It's Main Event Time, Erik!
Estrada: I've been looking forward to this.
Hugo: We are going to take you to pre recorded comments from both men.
Fernandez: You think I don't see what's going on? The President's son is facing me in the Main Event. That boy should not have even been in this tournament! Now you think you're gonna have some Bullshit crooked ref or whatever screw me tonight? No way The Ragin Bull wont stand for it. Get ready kid. You're going down!
Carly: This a Huge night for me. The very first edition of Carribbean Wrestling Xtreme and I'm in the Main Event. Plus a chance to follow in father's footsteps and be a champion in my home country. I know my friends are behind me. My family is behind me. But most important...those fans are gonna be cheering for me. And that...that's cool.
Lillian Garcia: This is your Main Event. It's the final first round tournament match.
'Ragin Bull' Manny Fernandez vs Carly Colon
(Manny attacks before the bell. Beating Colon to the mat. He then hits a side Suplex. Then locks on an elbow lock. Carly fights back with some elbows to the gut. Then a running lariat. The crowd is behind Colon. He slams Fernandez then goes to the second rope and drops a Legdrop. He covers for 2. Fernandez rolls out the ring Colon hits a baseball slide then goes out pounding on the larger man. He sends Fernandez into the post. Bull is cut and is bleeding a little over the left eye. Carly rolls him back in. Then as he enters Manny rakes the eyes of Carly stopping his momentum. Then hits a release German Suplex. Both men are down. Manny is up first and sends him into the buckle he charges but Colon gets both feet up knocking Fernandez to the mat. He goes up and as Manny rises he goes for a Flying Body Press. But his momentum takes him over and Fernandez has a handful of tights as the ref counts to 3.
Winner: Manny Fernandez 14:36
Estrada: Hey he cheated!
Hugo: Is this your first wrestling show? Fans Manny Fernandez has moved on. The crowd here is not happy. That's our show. Next time we will have Rd 2. Plus the debut of the Tag Team Doug Furnas & Phil LaFon. For Erik Estrada, I'm Hugo Savinovich signing off. Buenas Noches, Ponch.
