Nigel McGuiness & Kevin Kelly are in the ring to start us off, and they sell tonight’s card ….

* * * * BEFORE THE SHOW * * * *

We get a promo from Bronson Steiner responding to last weeks match …. He talks about being a 2nd generation talent when we hear clapping from off camera …. In walks MJF …. He says Steiner may be a 2nd generation talent, but it doesn’t take Steiner Math to realize that between the 3 of them they only share one brain …. Meanwhile, MJF is a generational talent …. He’s been labeled toxic in every locker room he’s been a part of, and a lot of promotions in the NWA have their head up their ass and wouldn’t touch him …. but you can’t argue with the results, he was the longest reigning world champion in the history of the IWA and he retired the X-Division title …. Steiner asks how things worked out in the IWA?  He says MJF stole the win from him last week so how bout they go one on one …. MJF accepts ….

Ricky Starks comes out to start the show …. Okada got all the attention last week but Stroke Daddy is here and he’s the future of this company …. He’s pissed off so he challenges anyone in the back to a fight and it’s accepted by ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne to a big pop ….

’Absolute’ Ricky Starks -vs- ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne

Dunne punishes Starks with joint manipulation much to the delight of the crowd …. Starks survives, then hits the spear for a near all …. With the refs attention diverted, Starks kicks Dunne low, then hits the Roshambeu for the 3 count ….

Backstage:

Charly Caruso is at the door to Paul Heyman’s locker room and she knocks …. Charly asks who is going to be Okada’s opponent, and Heyman says they are lining up to face one of the greatest international stars …. And HE is the one that brought him here …. He says Charly can trust him, he has a suitable opponent …. Now, if you’ll excuse me …. Heyman opens the door and steps back into his offices and we see Nick Aldis sitting inside!  The fans pop …. HEYMAN: “Now, where were we?”

Rob Van Dam -vs- Miro

Miro interrupted RVD on the debut show, attacking him and locking him in the Accolade …. RVD is pissed and attacks Miro sending him to the floor for some brawling …. RVD hits some signature spots but Miro stops all that when he catches RVD in a swinging urinage …. Miro wears RVD down with a beating but he fights out and hits a leaping sidekick to take down Miro …. Split-legged moonsault gets a 2 for RVD but Miro stops him as he goes up top for the Frog Splash …. Miro hits a backbreaker across the top turnbuckles and RVD is in bad shape …. Miro hits the Matchka kick but RVD kicks out!  Miro gets frustrated and goes after a chair, which backfires as RVD hits the Van-Daminator!  1 … 2 … 3!  Miro kicks out just as the refs hand slaps the mat for 3!

POST MATCH: Miro argues with the ref that he kicked out …. The refs decision is final, so Miro attacks the ref and locks him in the Accolade!  RVD comes back for the save, but Miro takes him out with the Matchka kick and then gets the chair!  Miro with several chairshots across RVD’s back, then locks the Accolade on RVD!   More refs come out to break it up ….

Matt Riddle -vs- Fit Finlay w/ David Finlay

This one is as hard hitting as you would expect, with both men battered by the end …. Riddle survives the contest, hitting the Bro 2 Sleep followed by Bro Derek to score the win ….

After the match, Fit shows Riddle respect with a handshake while David Finlay clearly doesn’t approve …. David tries to get in Riddles face, but Fit backs him off and they leave …. Riddle celebrates, but David slides back in and cracks Riddle with the Shileleighli!  Fit seems surprised and he pulls David away ….

Up next, Imperium comes out to the ring, with Ludwig Kaiser doing a grand introduction of ‘Der Ring General’ WALTER …. Charly is in the ring and asks the appearance of CM Punk to end the show last week, and WALTER says that he is not going to waste his time talking about someone like Punk …. Punk is not the best in the world, instead he disrespects the mat …. William Regal arrives and shows WALTER respect …. He wants a match …. WALTER laughs …. He is a super athlete, but Regal is past his prime …. It would be a massacre and WALTER has too much respect for Regal to do that …. Regal slaps the fuck out of WALTER!  Imperium starts to step to Regal but WALTER holds up his hand …. WALTER says if Regal is looking for the end, he’s found it …. The match will take place next week ….

Backstage: Sheamus & McIntyre promo …. Drew says they both have designs on representing their home countries but they talk about their history together and say they have their eyes on the tag titles first …. FTR approaches them and gives them respect for the win last week …. They want to run it back sometime …. Paul Heyman approaches them from off camera and says “Gentlemen, let’s talk.”

Maxwell Jacob Friedman -vs- Bronson Steiner

MJF comes out wearing the old IWA X-Division champion, and then demands that the ring announcer announce him as “The longest reigning champion in wrestling AND a generational talent” …. Steiner is more of a no-nonsense ass kicker …. Steiner dominates MJF with power moves early, but of course MJF cheats to get the advantage …. Steiner rallies, hitting the spear but MJF rolls under the bottom rope to the floor as Steiner slowly moves to cover him …. MJF baits Steiner into chasing him, allowing him to hit the Heat Seeker but Steiner kicks out!  Steiner escapes the Salt of the Earth, but is distracted as Richard Holiday makes his debut and gets on the apron!  MJF grabs the X-Division title and smashes Steiner with it, then locks the Salt of the Earth on the unconscious Steiner!  The ref checks his arm and it drops so he calls for the bell ….

Backstage:

Paul Heyman is watching on a monitor when Charly comes in …. Heyman says she is a journalist so he has a scoop for her …. The first champion here in KPW that will be crowned will be the tag team champions and a tournament starts next week with a rematch of Sheamus & McIntyre vs. FTR …

There is a knock at the door and in walks … LANCE STORM!  “If I can be serious for a minute …”  Storm discusses the fact that he’s the best technical wrestler in KPW, but apparently Paul Heyman isn’t interested in technical excellence …. This place is a zoo where people cheer people like Bryan Danielson, who isn’t even in Storms league …. Because he’s not from Calgary …. Alberta, Canada …. Storm can’t even get a match …. Heyman says he has an idea and promises Storm a match on next weeks show …. Against Jon Moxley!

It’s time for the main event, and the debut of Okada is treated like a big deal as they recap his accomplishments in Japan …. Aldis comes out as his opponent, which gets a great reaction from his home country ….

Kazuchika Okada -vs- ‘National Treasure’ Nick Aldis

This is everything you would expect from these two …. The match centers around Aldis avoiding the Rainmaker at all costs while going to work on the back to set up for the cloverleaf …. Aldis finally gets it but Okada is able to fight out of it without tapping …. Okada comes back with a tombstone and then a top rope elbow but Aldis gets a foot on the ropes …. Aldis avoids the Rainmaker and hits a northern lights bomb for a close near fall …. Aldis tries to come off the top but Okada cuts him off with a dropkick!  Okada with a lariat but maintains wrist control, then turns it into the Rainmaker to finally put Aldis down for the 3 count!

Show ends with Okada celebrating for the crowd ….

Steiner just put a big load on his shoulders..... if he can beat MJF he is a made star, if he loses, hes just another guy

I would have swore that Pete Dunne would have won this

Heyman landed a gold mine landing Okada. That being said, hes gonna have to do something to get Aldis over with me

RVD gets the questionable win.....but man does he pay the price for it afterwards

Glad to see Riddle starting off hot here

Good gawd..... Regal just committed career suicide

Just as i said earlier, even with the interference, MJF sends Steiner back to the bottom

Sweet tournament time here in KPW

Lance just let his mouth override his ass

Yes.....glad to see Okada get the win over mr vanilla...... i see big things here for Okada

Good stuff
