First three matches televised live on TBS!
1st Match: The SHEEPHERDERS open the television portion of FRIGHT NIGHT by decimating the game but overwhelmed COLE TWINS ! After some double teaming and a beatdown,LUKE WILLIAMS gets the pin on KENT COLE!
2nd Match:JYD vs GEORGE WELLS
These two have a hard hitting but scientific match that eventually ends when JYD pins WELLS after hitting the Big Thump powerslam! The men shake hands afterwards!
3rd Match: SECW TV Title match
New SECW TV Champion: DON MURACO defends against former champ SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM
SBG is especially aggressive here as he takes the fight to MURACO in hopes of getting his title back! But MURACO is ready for it and fights fire with fire eventually hitting MURACO with the asiatic spike which stuns the big man ! MURACO then wows the crowd by hitting the tombstone piledriver on SBG and getting the pin to retain in his first title defense as the crowd pops!
4th Match: RICK RUDE w/ PERCY PRINGLE returns to SECW after a tour of Europe and faces MAGNUM TA!
This match is a great back and forth contest which eventuallyn ends in a 20 minute time limit draw as the bell rings as RUDE has TA covered after the Rude Awakening!
5th Match: NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion CHRIS JERICHO defends against BRAD ARMSTRONG! BRAD gives the champ some rough moments but JERICHO prevails and after softening BA up with a code breaker JERICHO applies the Walls of Jericho and BRAD ends up submitting ! Of note,during this match PAUL JONES watches t
most of the match from ringside before heading to the back!
6th Match: SECW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
DEMOLITION (c) vs THE ZAMBUII EXPRESS w/ PERCY PRINGLE
Another slobberknocker between these two where once again PERCY tries to interfere but is stopped by AX! The champs eventually get then pin on ELIJAH MUHAMMED after a double powerslam and pinfall!
A crestfallen PRINGLE gets frustrated and just heads ton the back without his men ! The ZX look a bit confused but soon follow him to the back!
The champs then hold their belts high in celebration and do not see the SHEEPHERDERS enter the ring and attack the champs!
DEMOLITION is taken by surprise and the HERDERS beat the hell outta them and stun the crowd by grabbing the tag titles and leaving the ring!
7th Match: This is a CHAIN MATCH where the only way to win is to drag your opponents around the ring and touch all four corners consecutively!
The ONE MAN GANG w/ SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK vs BLACKJACK MULLIGAN
BJM is still wanting revenge for what OMG did to his son BARRY WINDHAM and he's looking to get it here! But this chain match is one OMG is very familiar with ! Both men use the chain liberally and beat each other with it and soon both are battered and bloody ! Both men attempt to touch all 4 corners but none are successful!
On BJM'S last attempt,he hits three of the four corners before SOH throws powder which blinds the big texan !
PMG takes advantage and after hitting the 747 splash ,he finally drags the bigb texan around to all four corners and gets the win!
8th Match:RICKY STEAMBOAT vs JAKE ROBERTS
JAKE has spent several weeks on TV coming out to watch STEAMBOAT'S matches and they finally meet in the ring ! A very close bout here but both men end up shoving he ref as he tries to keep some sense of order and he has to calll for the bell and renders a double dq for both men!
MAIN EVENT
SECW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
RIC FLAIR (c) vs "THE AMERICAN DREAM" DUSTY RHODES
Lots of action as these two both go at it from the onset! DUSTY is bloodied but that just seems to fire him up!
Dusty eventually knocks the champ silly with a few well placed bionic elbows! As FLAIR stumbles around,DUSTY comes off the top turnbuckle and goes to hit the champ with a double axe handle!
The quick thinking FLAIR ,however, grabs the ref and drags him in front of DUSTY who hits the ref!
The ref goes down but DUSTY backs FLAIR into the corner and starts firing away!
The crowd is shocked as BRUISER BRODY runs down to the ring and clobbers DUSTY from behind with his chain!
DUSTY hits the canvas and is out !
A smiling FLAIR extends his hand out to BRODY who promptly clobbers FLAIR with the chain as well, busting him open and knocking him out !
BRODY then puts FLAIR on top of DUSTY, and keaves the ring going back to the dressing room !
The ref has now recoverd,and seeing nothing of what BRODY did, makes the three count as FLAIR successfully defends his belt ! Both men are bloodied and quite out of it as both the champ and challenger end up being helped to the back!
