Sam : Hello fans and welcome to the AMC Grand Hotel and Studio . Tonight we start the show a bit different . Here now is Elizabeth Savage in the Control Center .
Liz : Thank you Sam . Tonight is the last Bunkhouse match we will have our field of six . Here is a look at how the first five got here .
Recap endings show the wins by Undertaker , Maddog Buzz Sawyer , Wardlow , Eddie Kingston and the surprising free agent Earthquake John Tenta .
Liz : Who will join them ? We will find out in our main event tonight .
We have some major announcements . The first , on August 30th , The Open comes here to Detroit and no matter what we will be there . It has been discussed and singed . We will have two big matches , maybe 3 . Here are the two that are signed .
The Bunkhouse Elimination Chamber and no matter what happens over the next month . Bob Backlund will take on Fred Blassie in a steel cage . We recently caught up with the North American Heavyweight Champion and he had this to say .
Backlund : I warned you , Fred Blassie . I warned you , you were going to become the hunted and you laid on the floor last week helpless in my Crossface Chicken Wing and soon . Very very soon . I will have you locked in a steel cage .
I warned you Bill Goldberg . You would also become the hunted . You felt the wrath of the Crossface Chicken Wing. John Cena saved you . Tonight though , Who is going to save John Cena ? Tonight I will put my North American Heavyweight Title on the line against John Cena . John you are my friend , I hope we have a great match young man , but I warn you , I will not go lightly on you and you will understand to not get in the way of a man who is hunting .
Liz : Our next announcement. BTW will be dropping out of the Canadian territory . They will be exclusive here on the states . Along with Michigan , we have purchased territory rights to Minnesota from AWA . We will have our next state announcement soon . To celebrate however , we will be going back to HBOMAX for a special night . On Sunday night September 4 , live from the Target Center we will present The War To Settle The Score !

The Samoan Wrecking Crew vs Martel amd Santana : Umaga and Fatu have pretty much owned Rick Martel. They cut the ring off and work him over . However Umaga misses a running hip attack and Martel lands a dropkick . Martel gets the tag to Tito who hits on off the top rope Flying Forearm !!! Fatu comes in to break up the pin attempt , but Martel hits a dropkick on him while Tito covers 1…….2……3 !
Sam : A big upset here . This does not look good for the team of Umaga and Fatu as we go into the Open . When we come back it’s the final Bunkhouse Stampede . We’ll be back .

Murdoch as he’s walking down to the ring , he’s speared by a guy in a cowboy hat and a mask . James Storm comes out and as Murdoch gets to his feet , Storm hits The Last Call . They mysterious cowboy rolls Murdoch in where he is hit with a Piledriver from Terry Funk for 3 .
Elgin eats a big boot from Brody and gets knocked out . For the rest of the match , Brody is a force , breaking an elimination record in Bunkhouses . Everything is going great until he runs into a mist from Kabuki and then SBG clotheslines him over the top rope . As SBG celebrates , Kabuki mist him and then lands a spinning back kick to Superstar’s head to get the 3 .
Jimmy : The winner of this match and the last man in the chamber on August 30th at the Open . The Great Kabuki !!!!
Sam : The field is set . Kabuki will join , The Undertaker , Buzz Sawyer , Wardlow , Eddie Kingston and The Earthquake John Tenta !!! Up next it’s the main event , Bob Backlund puts his North American Heavyweight Title on the line against John Cena !

North American Heavyweight Title Bob Backlund vs John Cena : Cena early on is all power . Backlund doesn’t know what hit him . Cena with a shoulder tackle and then goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Backlund moves and Cena gets nothing but mat . Backlund hits a series of release Germans . Backlund now closes in for the Crossface Chicken Wing, but Cena counters into the FU !!! Cena covers 1…..2…. Backlund with a foot on the rope . Cena goes for the STF , Backlund powers to his feet and powebombs Cena !! Backlund makes the cover and gets the 3 .
Post match both men shake hands , until Blassie and Goldberg hit the ring . The four men battle all over the studio . All Sam can do is sign off .
