BTW # 15 : The Bunkhouse Stampede
Sam : Hello fans , July is Bunkhouse Month . And we kick things off back here in our AMC Grand Hotel and Studio . As you can see we have moved things outdoors for this event . Here is a rundown of our show tonight . Five big matches . The Bunkhouse will be your main event . First up The Armstrongs have made their way here to BTW . They look to climb the ladder and secure a title shot against the North American Tag Team Champions the Pain Makers . Tonight however they take on The Samoan Wrecking Crew .
From there , Thunder Rosa and Nikita Lyons will lock horns again tonight . This time it will be in a Hardcore Match . Anything goes . This will be an unsanctioned Lights Out Match . Wally Karbo has washed his hands .
Following that we have the Bunkhouse Brawl Champion Bruno Sammartino taking on Harley Race the Heritage Champion . Only Bruno Sammartino’s belt is on the line .
Then we go to our semi main event , North American Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund will defend against Fred Blassie . Jimmy Lennon is on vacation this week , so own Elizabeth Savage will have ring announcing duties . We’ll have our first match when we come back .

The Armstrongs vs The Samoan Wrecking Crew : Fatu and Umaga are brutal in this . Brad has taken a beating for 9 minutes . After a Hip Attack in the by Fatu , Umaga comes in and tries for one . Brad moves out of the way and Umaga hits the turnbuckles . He stumbles out of the corner and then gets a Side Russian Leg Sweep for his troubles . The tag goes to Bob . Superkick by Bob . Brad catches Junior with a cross body coming in , while Bob pins Umaga . 1..,.,,2…..3 !!!
Liz : The winners of the match Bob and Brad Armstrong.

Sam : Fans you can see the outside lights here are being lowered . While we are waiting for them to come back up , let’s talk to Elizabeth Savage . Elizabeth , I’m told you have news about a house show at Olympic Stadium in Montreal .

Sam : And we should remind fans there is no home television for this event . You need to be there live . Right now the lights are up . It’s time for the Hardcore Match .
Nikita Lyons vs Thunder Rosa : These two pull out all the stops . Lyons takes a Superplex off a ladder . Rosa gets her back beaten with a steel chair . In the end though it’s Lyons with a Tiger Driver through a table for 3 . Thunder Rosa lays in a heap .
Sam : Fans , could that be the end of this finally ? We’ll be right back .

Bunkhouse Championship Bruno Sammartino vs Harley Race : These two beat the bloody shit out of one another . Race hits a Piledriver on the grass , but Bruno somehow kicks out at two . I’m the end , it’s Bruno with Liz’s mic cord wrapped around Harley’s neck to choke him out for the victory .
North American Heavyweight Title Bob Backlund vs Fred Blassie: : It seems like it’s never over between these two . This match goes for nearly 30 minutes . Blassie almost has Backlund submitted with the Mandible Claw, but Bob finds his way to the ropes . Backlund gets an O’ Connor Roll on Blassie with a bridge for the 1…..2…..3 !!!
Liz : The winner of the match . Bob Backlund , still your North American Heavyweight Champion .

Liz : One Man Gang is eliminated.
Blassie has Cena In the Mandible Claw, but Cena is able to power up and FU Blassie over the top rope .
Liz : Fred Blassie is eliminated.
Michael Elgin is a beast in this , tossing out Suzuki with an Over The Head Belly to Belly . Clotheslines Blackwell over the top rope . And takes Tommy Rich’s discarded Boot and knocks him out cold . Elgin pins Rich for the 3 . But runs into a Backfist by Eddie Kingston and Elgin spills out if the ring .
Liz : Suzuki, Blackwell , Rich and Elgin are eliminated.
Abdullah runs into a big boot by Taker and then a Tombstone. Taker covers for the 3 .
Liz : Abdullah is eliminated.
Sawyer with a Powerslam on Dustin Rhodes for 3 .
Liz : Dustin Rhodes is Eliminated .
Austin with a Stunner on Cena and gets the pin .
Liz : John Cena is eliminated.
The Devil’s Duo and Zambuii lock up and it’s a battle . All four men spill out over the top rope down to the floor .
Liz : Sawyer , Sullivan , Akeem and Mohammad are all eliminated.
Austin falls victim to a Backfist by Kingston . Kingston gets the 3 . When Kingston stands up , it’s Taker with a chokeslam and The Last Ride !!!!
Liz : The winner of $50, 000 and moving on to the Elimination Chamber . The Undertaker !!!!
Sam : The first Bunkhouse winner is in the books . We will see you tomorrow night in Montreal fans . I’m Sam Menekar.
