Gordon : Welcome to the weekly home of AWA . There is wrestling tonight at the Players Club in Lake Station , Indiana . Freddy Miller will be along a bit later with details . In just a little while , we will have the WGN Television Title Rumble . Right now the AWA Tag Team Champions are in the ring .
Nontitle Match Up Leather and Lace / Babydoll and Tyrus ( AWA Tag Team Champs) vs Jimmy Backlund and The Grappler # 7 : Jimmy doesn’t do well against the champs . Wagner and Street make an example of him . But after Street submits him in a full Nelson , the Grappler , hits a DDT post match on Wagner and then on Street . He dives out of the ring onto Tyrus and beats the hell out of him . He pulls off the mask and takes his leave .
Gordon : Wait a minute , that’s Wildfire Tommy Rich!!! Oh brother !! He has upset the apple cart here . We have to get order restored . We’ll be back . Freddy Miller tell us about tonight at the Players Club .
The AWA comes to the Players Club bar at 10:30pm tonight . In Lake Station , Indiana.

The World Midget World Championship is on the line the champion Little Tokyo taking on Cowboy Lang
AWA Junior Heavyweight Title. Kazuchika Okada taking on Tiger Mask .
Jungle Boy , Dynamite Kid, Jushin Thunder Liger and a surprise guest in a fatal four way elimination, winner to receive a World Heavyweight Title Match on March 11 .

Gordon : Welcome back and don’t forget tomorrow night , the Clash of Champions Harley Race taking on Dusty Rhodes for the AWA Heavyweight Title. It’s now time for me the WGN Television Title Rumble!!!!
Jon Moxley and Nick Bockwinkle who comes out with Paul Ellering start . Mox is chopping away and has Bockwinkle near the ropes , he tries to get Nick out , but Nick hits a back body drop. Mox hits the ring apron and rolls under the ropes , back into the ring . 3….2…..1 !!!!!
Big John Studd enters the ring . Studd grabs up Mox, Mox rakes the eyes and then he and Bockwinkle work together and get Studd near the ropes Bockwinkle lifts the legs , while Mox hits a Jawbreaker Larait knocking Studd out of the ring !
Gordon : And wow !!! That’s all she wrote for Big John Studd .
. 3…..2….1 . The fans explode as Wrestling 2 makes his way down . Dropkick sends Mox to the mat . He blast Bockwinkle with his Kneelift . Nick is on the mat . Two pulls up Mox 3……2…..1.
Dick The Bruiser becomes the 4th man to enter this contest . Bruiser puts the claw on Bockwinkle, moving him by the ropes . 3….2…..1 .
The Destroyer comes on as entrant number 5 . He grabs Two from behind and starts choking him . Now Mox is putting the boots to Two at the same time . 3…..2…..1 !!!
Wahoo McDaniel joins us at entrant number 6. Wahoo chops Destroyer . Dropkicks Mox out of the ring . Two hits his Million Dollar on Destroyer blasting him out of the ring .
Gordon : Both Jon Moxley and The Destroyer have been eliminated. 3….2….1 .
Entrant number 7 is Bob Armstrong . He Superkicks Wahoo . Knife Chops Two sending him down . 3…..2….1 .
Great Kabuki enters at number 8 . Ellering directs Kabuki over to Bruiser . Kabuki kicks Bruiser in the back of the head . Bockwinkle tosses Bruiser out .
Gordon : And there goes Dick The Bruiser . 3….2…1 !!! A bloody Tyrus staggers down to the ring , behind him Tommy Rich . He tackles the 9th entrant and they spill out over the top rope down to the floor.
Gordon : Tommy Rich is not part of this match , but he doesn’t care . He’s not finished with Tyrus . Who has been eliminated.
Kabuki and Bockwinkle under the guidance of Ellering toss out Bob Armstrong .
Gordon : And there goes Bob Armstrong . And brother , I’ll tell you , we now have a 4 way piersixer going here . Nick Bockwinkle is mixing it up with Wrestling Two and Kabuki is in a chop fest with Wahoo .
3…..2…..1 !!!
Ray Stevens now comes in . He goes right at Wahoo . He gets off a Piledriver on Wahoo and then Kabuki with a step up enzuguri knocks Wahoo out of the ring . Ellering organizes Kabuki , Bockwinkle and Stevens . Two is their target but ……
3…..2….1 !!!
Tiger Mask enters at 11 !!! Spinning back kick takes out Kabuki . Thrust kick sends Stevens into Two , who knocks him out with that Million Dollar Kneelift.
Gordon : Two eliminations here . Kabuki and Ray Stevens respectively. 3….2….1 .
Brian Cage comes in at 12 . Much to his surprise , Bockwinkle, 2 and Tiger Mask mug the big man and force him out and over .
Gordon: I’m shocked how quickly the big men are getting eliminated from this match . So long Brian Cage .
3….2…1….
Crusher comes in !!! Polish Hammer to Tiger Mask , sends him out .
Gordon : Tiger Mask is now out .
James Storm enters at 14 . He and Crusher are mixing it up . Bockwinkle has Two in a Sleeper . He gets Two near the ropes and then clotheslines him out and over .
Gordon : An impressive showing here , by Mr . Wrestling Number 2 , but he is now eliminated. Verne Gagne is our final entrant .
Storm hits a spinbuster on Crusher . Verne with a dropkick sends Bockwinkle to the ropes , Verne rushes Bockwinkle setting up for a flying head scissors, but Bockwinkle pulls down the top rope and ducks out .
Gordon : Out goes Verne Gagne!!! We have 3 men left .
Storm hits a Last Call on Crusher , but doesn’t see Bockwinkle coming in from behind and hits him in the back of the head with a forearm knocking him out . Crusher staggers up , clothesline by Bockwinkle!!!
Gordon : And that is all she wrote !!! Nick Bockwinkle is your WGN Television Champion . We are out of time . For Freddy Miller, I’m Gordon Solie saying so long from the Windy City of Chicago.
