CWX PRESENTS
THE ROBERTO CLEMENTE MEMORIAL SHOW
From the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico
(We get a video about the humanitarian exploits of Roberto. Then the Puerto Rican National Anthem is sung by Victor Manuelle.)
1. 20 Man Invitational Battle Royal.
Entrants in order of elimination.
1. Cuban Assassin 2. Bengala 3. Mr Cisco 4. Juventud Guerrera 5. Super Fly 6. Delirious 7. Jose Maximo 8. Joel Maximo 9. Mistico 10. Texano 11. Mil Mascaras 12. Tiger Mask 13. Amazing Red 14. Hercules Ayala 15. Cortez Castro 16. Tigre Uno
The last 4 in the ring are Alberto Del Rio, Cibernetico, Hernandez & Sabu. Cibernetico and Hernandez decide to team up. They wage war for a bit. Sabu avoids a Corner Avalanche from Hernandez. He races to the other corner and hits Air Sabu but his momentum takes him to the top rope and Hernadez flips him over to the floor. Now He and Cibernetico stalk Alberto. ADR comes out fighting. Hitting haymakers on both men but a knee to the mid-section by Cibernetico stops his barrage. Double Suplex to Del Rio. Fistdrop by Hernadez. Legdrop by Cibernetico.. They drag him towards the ropes. They look to send hi over but he hooks the ropes. then rakes the eyes of Cibernetico. Hernadez charges but gets a Superkick to the sternum. Jawbreaker by Alberto. He goes to send Hernadez over but he now is trying to hook the ropes but Cibernetico grabs both their legs and flips them over.
Winner: Cibernetico
2. TNT vs Tetsuya Naito
Naito wanted real competition tonight so Catrina gave him Puerto Rico's own TNT. Naito comes to the ring in a white suit. Looking like he has no interest in doing any fighting. He He just sits in the corner like he has no care in the world. Almost bored. The ref keeps asking him if he's ready but he just sits there. Finally he slowly stands and the bell is rung.TNT starts off quickly with his patented Martial Arts strikes. He whips Naito to the ropes but he ducks a Spin Kick and nails a Lariat. Then a Swinging Neckkbreaker. He removes his suit to reveal his wrestling gear. They continue to fight back and forth but Naito hits Gloria (Lifting hammerlock cradle hold dropped into a sitout side Powerslam). 1.. 2.. kickout by TNT. TNT hits a Bicycle Kick that stuns Naito. He goes for a Scoop Powerslam but Tetsuya counters into Destino (Somersault reverse DDT). He this time gets the 3 count.
Winner: Tetsuya Naito
3. ACR vs Sara Del Rey vs Meiko Satomura
Very hard hitting affair. At one point Meiko has both ACR & SDR on their knees and she is ripping off shoot kicks to their chests alternately as the crowd counts along in Spanish. ACR catches Satomura with a Jumping DDT but Sara breaks up the cover. In the end Satomura is trapped in the ropes as Sara hits the Royal Butterfly on ACR and gets the victory.
Winner: Sara Del Rey
4. Aerostar vs El Dandy vs Gran Metallik vs Adrade "Cien" Almas - 4 Corners match
Dragon Azteca Jr. was originally booked to be in this match but due to the attack from the Gangstas he had to be removed. In the crowd we see a girl with a Gran Metallik t-Shirt on. She is cheering wildly for everything he does. El Dandy Suplexes Almas out on the floor. Aerostar nails him with a Suicida. The action is fast and furious. Andrade hits Aerostar with Cien-sational (Inverted facelock backbreaker into spinning inverted facelock elbow drop) out on the floor. Metallik catches Dandy with a Springboard Blockbuster. He covers but Almas cracks him with a Chair. The woman in the front row with the Metallik shirt is horrified. She jumps over the railing and runs in the ring. She snatches the chair away from Almas. He turns to her with an icy glare. But is rolled up by Metallik! 1.. 2.. No! Pushes him off and Metallik lurches towards the woman...
Who cracks him in the head with the chair! Almas has him... Hammerlock DDT! 1.. 2.. 3!
Winner: Andrade "Cien" Almas
(The woman pulls off the Metallik T-Shirt and throws it down on the prone body of Metallik. Then she hugs and celebrates with Almas.)
5. Dante Fox(c) vs Matt Sydal - SKY Championship
It was Sydal who Dante defeated to becomethe SKY Champion. They go at it again here tonight. Sydal does a a flying Hurracanrana off the guard railing out on the floor. Dante hits a Double foot Stomp out on the apron. Matt gets Fox in a Reverse Sunset Flip. Dante pushes out Sydal hits the ropes with a hanstand and goes for a Stunner but Dante counters into a Backstabber. He covers for 2.
Late Fox goes for a Moonsault but Sydal rolls away. But Dante lands on his feet and goes into a Running Shooting star but Matt gets his knees up. Sydal now goes for a Powerbomb but Dante counters for a Hurracanrana but its blocked and Sydal hits a Modified Styles Clash. 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! Matt goes up for Air Sydal. But Dante is up and hits Lo Mein Pain (Rope bounce Spanish Fly). He goes back up... 450 Splash! 1.. 2.. 3!

6. Mil Muertes vs Carlito
Carlito gets a huge ovation from his homeland fans. Mil is booed heavily. Mil doesn't wait for introductions he comes right at Carlito who fires the apple right into the face of Mil and he goes down. When the camera zooms in on the apple we see its actual a red pool ball! Carlito is stomping away at Mil. Then lifts him up and gives him a Samoan Drop. He covers but Mil flings him off of him. We see walking out and watching from afar is Kevin Sullivan, Melina & Chicky Starr. Carlito is rocking Muertes with big right hands then goes for the Backstabber but hooks the ropes. Carlito scrambles to his feet only to be clothesined over the ropes.
On the outside Mil is tossing Carlito into the ring barrier, The ring steps, And throws him on top of the Timekeepers table. Mil grabs the the hammer that rings the bell and blasts Carlito with it. We see Carlito is now bleeding. Mil stands on the table and is looking for a Flatliner but Carlito elbows his way free then DDTs Mil through the table! The crowd is going crazy. Carlito picks up a piece of the broken table and slams it over the head of Mil. Now Carlito is ripping at the mask and tears it. He walks to the corner and grabs the red pool ball from earlier. He begins wailing at the head of Mil with it and we can see is now busted open as well.
These two men wind up in the crowd as fans who usually want to be right in the action are running away as these 2 men are grabbing anything not nailed down to hit each other with. They make their way back to ringside. Mil has Carlito against the pole and goes to spear him but he moves. Mil hits the steel then Carlito nails the Backstabber!!!! The crowd is in a frenzy. Carlito has been battered and is trying to lift the huge man up. He finally is able to roll him in but it took a lot out of him. Carlito covers 1.. 2.. Muertes reaches out and grabs the bottom rope! Carlito is spent he again grabs that pool ball. He he winds up to crack him with it but he is met with the Deadly Right Hand! Carlito is down as the ball rolls out the ring. He is on dream street... Neptune's Trident!!! He just cut Carlito in half!. He pulls him up... Flatliner!!!! 1.. 2.. 3!

INTERMISSION: During the Intermission we see Juventud Guerrero and La Rosa Negra out signing autographs for the fans. Then from out of nowhere the Gangsters run out and attack Juvi with the blackjacks. Then he is wallopped with a Steel Chair from Mustafah. Rosa tries to intercede but is laid out with a chairshot as well. Then security is coming and the Gangsters make their escape. The fans are livid and Dario appears yelling at security, wanting to know how they got in the building.
7. Fenix(c) vs Rob Van Dam - Aztec Championship
Fans were looking forward to this one and were treated to good match. RVD really thrives with the laxed rules in CWX. He catches Fenix with a Spinning Head kick. Then places a chair on his chest and nails Rolling Thunder on the chair. 1.. 2.. No. We see Famous B has come out. He's not handing out business cards tonight as he seems focused on the action in the ring. RVD gets Fenix on the outside he drops him ribs first across the guard railing then jumps on the apron and hits a spinning Axe Kick across the champ's back.
Rob rolls him in and goes for a Split-Legged Moonsault but Fenix sticks hid boot straight up and catches RVD on the chin. The champ follows up with La Garra del Fénix (Diving double knee drop to a seated opponent's chest). He gets a 2 count. He looks for the Fenix Driver but Rob counters into a Rear Sitout Slam. RVD goes for the 5 Star.... but he misses! Springboard Dropkick from Fenix... Fenix Driver! 1.. 2.. 3!

8. The Latino Nightmare vs The Colony - Trios Championship
The fans of Puerto Rico are in full support of the Colony tonight and early on it seemed to fire them up. Soldier Ant hits Pentagon Dark with a Spinning Spinebuster for a quick 2. Green & Fire Ant a pair of Springboard wheel kicks to Vibora & Drago. The Colony really putting the pressure on the champs but Pentagon catches Green with a Superkick. Vibora comes in and chokeslams him on the apron. Fire runs in and is delivering a series of rights that are rocking Vibora. Then he gets him up for the Burning Hammer. But Drago spits Black mist in his eyes. Fire Ant drops Vibora but Soldier clotheslines Vibora over the top. Then he catches both Vibora and Pentagon with a Springboard Plancha. Green Ant kicks Drago the gives him a falling Powerbomb! 1.. 2..
NO!!!!! Gourdbuster by Green 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! Green goes for a Thesz Press but he is dropped throat first across the top rope. Then Drago hits Dragonfire(Flip DDT) He gets the 3 count.

9. Pedro Morales vs Jinder Mahal - Leather Strap Match (If Pedro wins he gets 5 minutes with Chicky Starr.)
Pedro comes to the ring wearing an eye patch over his left eye. Apparently that eye is still giving him problems. Chicky leads Jinder to the ring. Starr gas a look of confidence but you can also see a bit of concern. They go at it right in the aisle before ever getting to the ring. Pedro slams Jinder's head into the ring steps. Then rolls him into the ring.The referee quickly attatches the strap to Jinder's wrist. Then Pedro attatches the other end himself. He wraps the strap around his fist as the crowd is hyped. Bell is rung as these two men tear into one another. No wrestling holds in this one. It's a fight. Pedro is wallopping Mahal with big left hooks he is starting to wobble. In a desperate but smart move he lands a thumb jab right to the eye patch.
Then Jinder wraps the strap around Morales' throat and eyes. Chicky is cheering him on. Perdro is able to flip Jinder over to free him self but Mahal is now whipping Pedro across the back. You can see the welts. Mahal now grabs Pedro and delivers a Chokeslam. 1.. 2.. NO! The crowd is chanting "Pedro!" Starr is telling them to shut up which only makes them chant louder. Jinder looks yo clothesline Pedro with the strap. But he gets his arms up to block it then lands a headbutt, and another one. Pedro wraps the strap around the head of Mahal who is down on the mat. Then Pedro is landing piston punches right to his face. It seems like he lands 60 straight punches each one driving the coarse leather hide into Mahal's face.
He unwraps the strap from his face. Then climbs up as Jinder is completely dazed. Pedro wraps it again around his left fist and hits a Flying fist drop from the 2nd rope. He covers 1.. 2.. kickout by Jinder. Chicky's had enough. He grabs a chair and runs into the ring. He goes to crack Pedro with it just like he did at the TV Taping but Pedro sees him coming. He kicks him in the gut and lands a big left uppercut. Chicky rolls to the outside. Jinde is starting to stand Pedro picks up the chair and slams it over his head. Jinder is out on his feet. Pedro gives him the Backbreaker and covers 1.. 2.. 3!
Winner: Pedro Morales
Chicky is taking off down the aisle. But out walks Dario Cueto. He has a microphone and announces that he always gives the fans what they want and he never skips out on a stipulation. If Chicky doesn't get in the ring he is fired from CWX. Chicky is almost in tears as he slowly heads back to the ring. He warily enters the ring as Pedro waits patiently. Jinder slips in from behind and clobbers Pedro. Now Chicky is smiles as he and Mahal put the boots to him. But running down the aisle is Alberto Del Rio. He goes right at Jinder and batters him from the ring. Now Chicky is alone with Pedro who rises to his feet. The announcer says there are 4 minutes left and Pedro smiles as he begins to unleash a barrage of left handed smashes to his former manager. The crowd is cheering the loudest they have all night as their favorite son is exacting revenge. Pedro gives Chicky a Double Underhook Powerbomb. The applies the Boston Crab. He keeps it on 2 minutes as Chicky is tapping away and crying. Finally the 5 minutes is up and Starr has passed out. Jinder pulls him from the ring and carries him away over his shoulder. Alberto enters the ring and comes face to face with his most hated rival. He extends his hand to him. Pedro seems unsure but the crowd is chanting "Si!" Pedro looks down and then shakes Del Rio's hand as the crowd cheers.
10. Ivelisse Velez(c) vs Sarah Stock - La Reina Del Templo Championship
The last time these two faced each other Jennifer Blake got involved. The referee has ordered Las Sicarias to the back. He wants no controversy tonight. Introductions are made and the match begins. Very measured pace and this is more like a chess match. Ivelisse has Stock down in a side headlock. Sarah uses a headscissors to free her self. Velez does a headstand escape. She tries to drop an elbow but misses. A pair of dropkicks from the challenger drive Velez into the corner. A Handspring Back Elbow for Sarah. She connects on a Bulldog. She coves for 2. She tries to get the Stock Market Crash but Ivelisse slips out and German Suplexes her 1.. 2.. No!
Ivelisse stays on her and nails Disdain. 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!! Sarah kicks out! She goes for Vertigo (Tornado kick) but Sarah catches her and gives her a Capture Suplex. Stock Market Crash! 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! Ivelisse kicks out. Sarah goes up for a Moonsault but Ivelisse is up. She gives her a Back Superplex. She is signalling for the Desert Eagle (Sunset Flip Powerbomb). But Stock counters into a Alabama Slam. She pulls her up and puts her in a Spinning Backbreaker Rack. The announcers refer to it as La Reinera. The perfect name as Ivelisse holds out as long as she can but finally submits.

11. Eddie Guerrero(c) vs Matanza - Intercontinental Championship
Matanza stands in the ring and out comes Eddie. He is very much in a more focused mood as he eyes the imposing figure standing in the ring. When the referee presents the title to Matanza he doesn't even glance at it. He is just staring a hole through the IC champ. Bell rings and Matanza begins to stalk. Eddie hops out the ring to try to mess with the monster. But Matanza just continues to stalk him from the ring to the outside to back in the ring. Finally Eddie attacks hitting series of kicks to the gut. But Matanza is unfazed. Then Guerrero lands a series of forearms to the head. Matanza just shoves him down to the mat.
Matanza grabs him and hurls him into the buckle. Corner Lariat follows. For the next couple of minutes Eddie is manhandled and tossed around the ring. He goes for another corner Lariat but Eddie catches him with a Pendulum double boot. Then hits a Springboard Dropkick to the back of his head. Eddie goes up... Flying Bulldog! 1.. 2.. NO. Slingshot Rolling Senton by the Champion. Eddie hooks him for the 3 Amigos but Matanza blocks it and hoist Eddie up. He nails a Jackhammer! 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! Eddie kicks out! Matanza goes for a Chokeslam but Eddie counters into a DDT. Matanza is starting to show the wear from the match. Pulls him up and nails the 3 Amigo suplexes. He does his shimmy then climbs the ropes but Matanza begins to rise he is staggering around Eddie hits him with a Blockbuster! Matanza is out as goes up again for the Frog Splash....
He is shoved off the ropes and to the floor by El Rey De Lucha!!!!As this is a UWF sanctioned Title Match DQs are in effect and the Referee has called for one. El Rey is stomping the knee of Eddie. Then he puts his leg through the bars of the barrier. He grabs a chair and slams it across the metal and Eddie's knee. Rey is screaming "Soy El Rey!" over and over. Which translates to "I am the King!" Finally Fenix & Mil Mascaras run down to ringside as El Rey De Lucha has to dragged off by Melina.
Winner by DQ & Still Champion: Eddie Guerrero
(The announcers point out how Eddie had Matanza beat but El Rey who was completely left off the show did not want to see Eddie get such a huge victory in a CWX ring. Eddie is offered assistance to the back but he doesn't want any and limps to the back under his own power.)
Main Event: Prince Puma vs Jushin "Thunder' Liger - Universal Championship
These men know each other well. They have faced each other with big stakes in the past. This one though is for the Universal Championship. Jushin gets a nice ovation from the crowd but Puma gets a thunderous one. Liger seems somewhat surprised at this. The match begins and these 2 men put on quite the show. Lots of reverse and counters and for the first 15 minutes it's pretty much a stalemate.
Match continues, Puma gets Liger in a Abdominal Stretch. He works it as best as he can but can't get the submission. Liger gets out of it and lands a series of pectoral chops to Puma. He fires back with elbows. The action has begun to heat up but they still stay within the rules. Back and forth they go. They both get a couple of quick near falls as we hit the 30 minute mark.
Liger is able to get Puma in the corner and Monkey Flips him out but Puma lands on his feet and nails a Dropkick that sends Liger into the buckle. Corner splash from the Universal Champion. He then connects on a Jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick that sends Liger over the ropes. Puma then executes a Springboard Shooting Star Press to the outside! The fans are loving the action. Match returns to the ring. Liger evades a Superman punch and hits a Rolling Kappo Kick. He grabs Puma and nails a Brainbuster. He covers for 2.
Liger then puts Puma in a Surfboard hold. Puma refuses to give in. Liger transitions it into a Dragon Sleeper at the same time. You can hear a large gasp from the crowd as this could be it. However Puma keeps fighting it. Finally Liger releases the hold he looks for a Liger Bomb but Puma counters into a Facebuster. He goes up for the 630 Senton... he misses. Liger nails a running Palm Strike! 1.. 2.. NOOO!!! He looks for the Liger Suplex but Puma blocks it and hits a Northern Lights suplex rolling into a deadlift vertical suplex. He pulls Jushin up... Copter Bomb! 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!!
Crowd is on their feet as both men lay in the ring. They trade strikes again but this time Liger his a Palm Thrust Uppercut the rocks Puma. He hooks hi... Liger Bomb! 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!! Puma barely gets his shoulder up. Liger does not agree and is pleading with the referee. Liger executes Crash Thunder Buster (Belly-to-back lifting Facebuster) on Puma and climbs up... Shooting Star Press!!!
MISSES!!!! Liger is down as Puma goes up.... 630 Senton!!!! Liger gets his knees up!!!! Puma is writhing in pain. He again applies the Surfboard into the Dragon Sleeper combo. The ref is asking Puma who looks almost out. The referee is checking his hand... The bell rings!!! Liger jumps up in celebration. The crowd is giving them a standing ovation. Liger grabs the title and raises it high. But the ref grabs it back as we get the official announcement.
The Time Limit has expired. This match is a DRAW! Still Champion: Prince Puma
Liger is crushed as he drops to his knees. Puma is still laying on his back in the ring. Liger looks over at him. He goes over takes his hand and shakes it and dejectedly leaves the ring. Puma slowly gets to his feet as we get another standing ovation.
