WOMEN’S STRONG STYLE /strôNG/ /stīl/ 1. ‘... A style of wrestling evolved from Japanese Puroresu (プロレス) and traditional British Catch wrestling that incorporates full contact martial arts kicks and strikes with a strong emphasis placed on submission wrestling ...’

The show starts out with 3-time former women’s World Champion Cindy Rogers in the ring, and she brings out IWA world champion ASUKA!  


Asuka comes out to a big pop, and Cindy gets right down to business .... tonight she faces Awesome Kong!  Asuka says everyone wants Asuka, but no one is ready.  But Asuka IS ready!  She is ready to face the best in the world, from Kong, to Melanie Cruise, to Io Shirai!  She tells Io that she has not forgotten about what Io did to her ....

Asuka is cut off by the entrance of Tessa Blanchard, Bayley, and IWS All-stars women’s champion Sasha Banks .... Tessa says Asuka wants to face the best, but she didn’t mention any of their names .... They are the top females in the world and they’ve already got some GOLD .... (Sasha shows off her All-Stars Women’s title) .... Tessa calls their group VALKYRIE ....

Asuka says Tessa likes to talk but Asuka doesn’t like to talk ... she drops the title and is ready to fight .... Valkyrie slowly climb in the ring and they circle Asuka, BUT KONG’S MUSIC HITS!  Kong comes out, but she isn’t out to attack Asuka .... She enters the ring and Valkyrie immediately back down and leave the ring!  We are left with a stand-off between Kong and Asuka, and Kong reaches down and picks the women’s title up .... Kong smiles at Asuka and then just tosses the belt to her and leaves ....

We kick off the first-ever RISE show with a 4 corner elimination match between EMBER MOON, SANTANA GARRETT, JORDYNNE GRACE and IVELISSE ....

We start with a real banger that really gets the crowd going .... each woman gets time to shine in this one .... Ivelisse is the first one out, as Santana Garrett eliminates her with the shining star press .... Moon eliminates Santana with the Eclipse, and it’s down to her and Grace .... They battle it out with the fans loving every minute of it with each strike thrown ... The finish sees Moon set Grace up for the Eclipse, but Grace uses her crazy power to catch Moon in mid-move and hit the Fall from Grace (pumphandle half nelson Driver) for the 3 count ....


Up next, Lacey Evans comes out to ringside and talks with Cindy .... Lacey’s gimmick is that of the strong All-American Woman: Super Mom and Wife, and former US Marine .... This rivalry began on Laceys first night with Beyond, as Tessa and Valkyrie came out and tried to bully her in front of her daughter .... a few weeks ago, Lacey hit Tessa with the Woman’s Right and gave her a black eye, winning their match by DQ ....




Lacey cuts an impassioned promo about how important it is to her to be a wife and a mother, and how she served the country in the Marine Corps .... She comes from a broken home filled with abuse and addiction, and she’s living proof that your circumstances don’t define who you are or what you can do .... We live in a free country, so Tessa Blanchard can come out and say whatever she wants .... but she messed up when she involved her family .... Lacey says her momma taught her to stand up for what’s right and that’s what she is teaching her daughter .... She has a right to do so, a ‘Woman’s Right’ .... and she knows her daughter will be watching when she kicks Tessa’s butt later tonight ....


Up next, THE BELLA BRAND (Nikki & Brie) make their debut in tag team action against The KIMBER BOMBS (Allie & Kimber Lee) ....

Twin Magic comes in to play in this one, as Nikki does the switch-a-roo with Brie who was about to be pinned by Kimber Lee .... Kimber goes to pick Nikki up, but she gets her with a quick roll-up for the 3 count!


Toni Storm comes out next to talk with Cindy at ringside .... Toni’s arm is taped up from her match against Deonna Purazzo on the last episode of BEYOND, and Cindy asks for a health update .... Toni is interrupted by Deonna Purazzo .... Purazzo cuts a promo and respects Toni, but says she dominated the match and still lost .... She wants Toni to give her a rematch .... Toni says ‘any time’ and they shake hands BUT THEN HITS A DIVORCE COURT ON TONI!  She tosses her into the ring and calls for a ref!  Toni said ‘any time’ ... so that time is RIGHT NOW!


A ref comes out, and we’ve got TONI STORM vs. DEONNA PURAZZO in an impromptu match! ....

Deonna zeros in on the injured arm and mauls Toni .... Toni tries to battle back, but Deonna stops all that with an arm-wringer than slams her down on the injured arm .... Deonna slaps on the Crowbar and Toni immediately has to tap out ....  



PURPLE RAYNE (Madison Rayne & Lana Star) take on VALKYRIE (SASHA BANKS & BAYLEY) coming up next ....

This has great, hard-hitting tag team action .... It goes a solid 15 minutes, with both teams appearing on the verge of victory .... Rayne hits the ‘Off with Her Head’ finisher on Banks, but Bayley pulls the ref out of the ring before the 3!  Rayne is tossed, and Banks hits a backstabber on Star and holds her in place for Bayley, who comes off the top with an elbow drop as Star is laying across Banks’ knees and that’s enough to put the former world tag team champions away ....


Up next, MIA YIM battles AJ LEE ....

Both ladies get love from the crowd, so they give them some action that they can really enjoy and they are able to cheer for both .... AJ gets the Black Widow, but Yim is able to survive and get to the ropes .... Yim is able to hit Protect Ya Neck kind of out of nowhere to get the surprise win ....

POST MATCH: SoCal Val makes her entrance and has a mic ... She puts over how she is the hottest talent manager in women’s wrestling .... she’s looking for her next big client and she wants Mia Yim to be it .... Yim isn’t sure, and Val tells her to think about it and she gives her a card ....



Up next, Becky Lynch’s music hits and the place pops big for her .... She is announced as doing guest commentary .... However, Becky’s entrance is cut off by the arrival of VALKYRIE (Blanchard, Banks & Bayley) for the next match .... Tessa hijacks Becky’s mic time so she can cut a promo on Lacey Evans (her opponent tonight) and Asuka .... Tessa is talking, but Becky jerks the mic out of her hand which surprised everyone .... Becky says everyone either seems like they want to talk for her or not let her talk at all .... well that’s fine because she really doesn’t want to talk, she would rather fight .... And she will fight anyone .... she will fight EVERYONE .... and it doesn’t matter what their last name is ....

Becky walks off, leaving everyone standing their looking shocked ....  Lacey Evans’ music hits and she comes out for the next match ....


In what has become a heated rivalry, TESSA BLANCHARD faces LACEY EVANS next....

This is a very aggressive match with lots of brawling, and surprisingly no interference from Valkyrie .... Lacey hits Tessa with the TKO, but Tessa gets her foot on the ropes .... when Lacey protests, Tessa shoves her into the ref from behind and we get a ref bump .... Tessa gets a chair and whacks Lacey with it, but the ref is slow to recover and Lacey kicks out at 2!  Tessa goes up top for Magnum, but suddenly Becky Lynch’s music hits!  Becky comes strolling back out doing her Connor McGregor walk, and she walks to the announce table and takes Mauro’s headset like she’s gonna do commentary!  This distracts Tessa for a brief moment, but that allows Lacey to cradle her for the 3 count!!!!  

POST MATCH: Tessa can’t believe what happened and Becky simply stands, shakes her head, and takes the headset off .... she walks out, but Sasha and Bayley come out and confront Becky on the ramp .... they seem puzzled as to why Becky did what she did, but Becky doesn’t really indulge them at all and instead just walks past them and goes through the curtain .... Meanwhile, Tessa is FURIOUS in the ring ....  




We get a video package of Asuka winning the IWA world title at Parade of Champions ...


We come back and it’s almost time for the main event .... but before we get there the fans are treated to the surprise appearance of RONDA ROUSEY!!!!  




We get full heel Rousey here, as she is met with boos from the crowd .... Rousey is basically the equivalent of Brock Lesnar .... she calls this place a dump and says it’s a good thing she’s getting paid to be here .... She’s making more for this appearance than everyone in the crowd will make in their lifetime .... How dare these people boo her in her hometown?  It’s real simple, she’s not here to talk, she isn’t here to tear the house down or steal the show .... she’s here to destroy dreams and rip bitches’ arms off their bodies .... Rousey says she’s a real fighter, but the RISE locker room is full of entertainers and ‘fake fighters’ .... Shes insulted just being in the same building as them .... She says these people know who she is and they know why she’s here ... she’s a force of nature that has left women like Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in her wake .... and she’s just getting started ....

Rousey walks off ....




In our main event, The IWA world heavyweight title is on the line as ASUKA defends against AWESOME KONG! ....

Neither woman is showing any fear .... Asuka goes behind and Kong but Kong tosses her off .... Asuka with a spin kick that Kong dodgers and they stand off .... Kong muscles Asuka back and then she viciously tosses her across the ring, then lays in some shoulder blocks in the corner .... Asuka avoids a charge and gets the octopus hold, but Kong breaks free and hits a big backbreaker for a 2 count .... Kong picks Asuka up in a torture rack but grabs the feet more like a bow and arrow .... Asuka hits some elbows to the side of the head and breaks the move and transitions into a guillotine choke!  Kong starts to fade, but then powers out into a suplex and both ladies are down .... Kong goes for the Awesome Bomb but Asuka fights out of it and into a triangle choke!  Asuka rains down nasty elbow strikes to the top of Kongs head!  Kong battles out by hitting a buckle bomb to Asuka .... Kong hits the Implant Buster!  1 ... 2 ... Asuka with a foot on the ropes!!!!  Kong goes to the top ... AWESOME SPLASH MISSES!!!!  Asuka pulls herself up .... missile dropkick connects!  Kong kicks out at 2!  Asuka hits the running hip attack, then goes back up top .... she comes off but Kong catches her by the throat!  She goes for the choke slam, but Asuka transitions into a flying armbar!  Kong is trapped!!!!  Kong uses her power to muscle Asuka up into the Awesome Bomb!  Kong is gassed and slow to pin, but the ref counts 1 ... 2 ... Asuka kicks out!!!!  Another implant buster but Asuka flips over the top to land behind Kong ... roundhouse connects!  Kong drops, but only to her knees .... SLIDING KNEE STRIKE BY ASUKA!  1 ... 2 ... Kong kicks out again!  Asuka waits for Kong to get up .... DRILLS HER WITH ANOTHER ROUNDHOUSE!  Kong no sells and lets out a primal scream .... a 3RD ROUNDHOUSE and Kong drops like a ton of bricks ... 1 ... 2 ... 3!  Asuka retains in a war!

Man that beginning was intense !!!!

Ah the old twin switch ! One of my favorite tricks .

I am loving Lacey !!! You are killing it , writing for her . She and Becky are your top two babies here .

This Valkery group is amazing . It’s like a female four horsemen , only missing a member .

I already want go see Rhonda get her ass kicked .

That main event was fantastic ! I like that it took like 3 round kicks to put Kong away .

And the bullseye on Asuka's chest just became very huge

I would love to see an Ivelisse push

Purrazo takes full advantage of "any time!"

Still not sold on Becky's agenda quite yet

Ok....I'm probably the biggest Lacey Evan's fan there is. I know your pushing her.... but so far shes only winning the "bigger" matches via distractions etc. She needs that win of her own to declare she can hang with the big name gals you have IMO

What a win for Asuka! She keeps that up she will wear that strap a very long time
