UWF JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: (Champion) Austin Aries -vs- Eric Embry w/ Percy Pringle III
The crowd is abuzz as former UWF WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION as ERIC EMBRY makes his way to the ring accompanied by his long time manager PERCY PRINGLE III! EMBRY looks all business as he ignores some heckling from the ringside fans, however PERCY has no problem yelling back at them! Out comes the WORLD JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, Austin Aries and the crowd pops . . . As the ref brings both men to the center to give instructions, they are nose to nose ... no jaw jacking needed ... just two men about to put it all on the line! The ref holds up the UWF Workd Junior title for all to see ... hands it to a ringside attendant and signals for the bell!
These two lock up and the first several exchanges are tit for tat! For every counter one implores, a counter to that counter soon follows! This bit of chain wrestling has the fans applauding! But these two aren't here to play to the fans...they are here to show the entire world just who the best damned junior heavyweight in the world is! The first several minutes stay this way as neither really gets too much of an advantage in the early going! PERCY is very vocal at ringside,shouting out instructions to EMBRY,but it's almost to the point of him being a distraction! Both men are so far keeping this within the rules but the hard hitting action is soon starting to get both men a bit tempermental! A whip into the corner by ARIES is followed by a running knee at EMBRY, who swiftly moves out of the way,causing the wrold champ to crash his knee right into the corner! Now EMBRY starts to methodically work on ARIE'S injured right leg/knee area! We all know that this is leading up to and ERIC is really concentrating on the leg! PERCY is all smiles at ringside as he reminds all within shouting distance that EMBRY is about to get "his" title back!
EMBRY applies a spinning toe hold...not to get a submission,but to firther weaken the leg of the champ! Finally,with intent in his eyes,EMBRY clamps on the Texas Cloverleaf! EMBRY is really sinching in the hold as ARIES,yelling out in pain already, is digging deep to fight this off! The crowd is into this thing now and seem to be cheering the hold and the attempt to get out of it evenly! PERCY is now screaming for ARIES to give up! The ref is close to ARIES,asking him if he wants to call it quits! AUSTIN ARIES may be many things to many people but a quitter sure as hell is not one of them! As this goes on for a few minutes and ARIES has slowly made his way closer to the ropes, the frustration starts to seep onto EMBRY'S face! He has this hold applied as good as it can be and a lesser man would have done gave up! ARIES waited a long time to get to the top of the heap and he isn't in anny hurry to come back down! Grit and determination are the words that come to mind for both of these during this sequence! EMBRY in tryong to get back what he feels is rightfully his and ARIES showing why he has earned the rgiht to be called world champion! ARIES finally makes it to the ropes,the ref calls for the break and EMBRY is hot!
Now come the stomps to the fallen champ and EMBRY now decides to let his emotions get the best of him and he throws the rulebook out the window! Punches,kicks and some slams are what follows and now EMBRY is in control! PERCY is cheering this on as EMBRY spends a few minutes in charge! EMBRY slams ARIES and follows it up by climbing to the top rope ,going for a leg drop,but the champ moves and EMBRY hits the cnvas hard! ARIES goes to the outside of the ring to walk off the soreness in his leg,which is a smart move as he breaks the 10 count on a few occasions,all the while getting that leg back in shape! Now EMBRY is up and PERCY yells at him to follow ARIES to the floor and get his ass back in the ring! EMBRY does this but a slugfest on the floor favors ARIES and EMBRY is reeling! ARIES rolls into the ring to break the 10 count but returns to the floor! EMBRY is ready and double axe handles the champ...he then whips ARIES into the post and he hits his back pretty damned hard! EMBRY charges..ARIES moves and EMBRY hits the post shoulder first! ARIES grabs EMBRY and tosses him into the ring! Now EMBRY is the one who needs to dig deep down inside as ARIES applies a standing hammerlock on the injured arm of the challenger! EMBRY is fighting for all he is worth as the pain starts to become unbearable! PERCY is freaking out at ringside and screaming at EMBRY to not give up! ARIES ends up releasing the hold,then puts EMBRY'S arm behind his back and hits a thunderous slam with EMBRY'S arm tucked under!
EMBRY screams out in pain as the shoulder is really hurt now! ARIES is getting a bit cocky now as he plays to the crowd a bit ! He then actually locks in an armbar as the crowd pops! With a sub seemingly about to occur,PERCY PRINGLE jumps onto the apron,thusly distracting the ref,who comes over to get him down off the apron! ARIES stops and also goes over to argue with PERCY! EMBRY shakes off the pain as ARIES has now moved the ref out of the way and has grabbed PERCY! EMBRY charges and hits ARIES from behind..sending him crashing to the mat and PERCY hitting the floor! EMBRY goes to pick up the champ and bodyslam him but cannot execute the move due to his shoulder injury! These two then have a quick slugfest and as ARIES goes to whip EMBRY into the corner,the ref is run into ,not fully getting hit,but enough to knock him down! ARIES looks to the ref just long enough for EMBRY to hit him with a drop kick! PERCY has now recoverd,yells to get EMBRY'S attention and tosses him a chain! EMBRY looks at the chain and tosses it back to PERCY! PERCY is livid as EMBRY yells to him that he is the best in the world and doesn't need that to get this win! PERCY is pissed and just walks away from the ring! EMBRY turns around ringht into a waiting ARIES who spears him to the mat ! The ref is up and coherent as ARIES picks EMBRY up and delivers a shoulder breaker onto the already worked over arm! ARIES is a smart man and even with his vast array of moves, he just clamps on another armbar! EMBRY is fighting it as much as he can but the inevitable has to happen and EMBRY taps out!

ARIES looks down on EMBRY as the fans cheer what was one helluva match! No hand shakes here as ARIES wipes the sweat from his brow and flins it in EMBRY'S direction! The fans are booing at this disrespectful act as ARIES holds up his wortld title to the fans and leaves the ring! EMBRY is still sitting on the mat as the fans start to applaud! EMBRY slowly rises and with tears in his eyes,and being extremely exhausted,he acknowledges the crowd a bit with a glance! The crowd is still cheering him as he slowly makes his way to the back!
