Match #8: HLW: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Yuji Nagata

Results: Nakamura is accompanied by The Black Tiger & Hiroshi Tanahashi. The crowd is really getting on them. Then the lights go dim we hear some Ominus music and we see slowly come out Yuji Nagata wearing his mask and a Black Robe with a hood. Nagata enters the ring and stands there motionless. The Japanese contingent look less than completely confident. Tanahashi & BT leave the ring. Nakamura turns to them and says, "Remember...I need to do this alone". They step to the center of the ring. The bell sounds and Nakamura kicks Yuji in the gut. He nails him with a hard right. Then a gut wrench suplex. Nakamura turns to the crowd and raises his arms but Nagata stood up immediately. Totally no-selling the attack. The fans are cheering. Naka turns around and is shocked. Yuji hits a kick and an Exploder Suplex. Yuji is all over Shinsuke. Unleashing one brutal kick after another. The sounds of the impact are echoing throughout the arena. Shinsuke is able to roll under the ropes to get referee to stop Nagata's attack. Yuji however doesn't care he reaches down to pull Naka by the hair but Nakamura is able to drop Yuji's neck across the top rope.

Now Naka goes on offense. Working on the shoulder of Nagata. Arm locks, hammerlock slams. Hard kicks. All zeroed in on the right shoulder of Yuji. Yuji just continues to absorb the punishment but never quits. Nakamura goes for a Cross Armbreaker but Yuj gets his hands clasped to counter it. The hold is released and Yuji quickly gets off a big kick to the chest of Naka. He then lays in a couple of chops to his chest. Nakamura fires an elbow to the head of Yuji. Nagata fires back. These 2 men now stand center ring trading stiff elbows to each other. But Nagata seems to be getting stronger. As if he is calling up some reserve from deep within himself. He has Naka rocked. He hits another Exploder Suplex. He covers for a 2 count. Yuji goes for a Powerbomb but his bad shoulder gives out. Naka hits a ruthless boot to Yuji's face. Nakamura backs off then as Nagata rises Shinsuke nails the Boma Ye! Yuji lies motionless as Naka covers. 1.. 2.. NO! Yuji gets his shoulder up. Nakamura stomps down on Yuji some more. He gets him up and hits the Landslide (Samoan Driver). The fans groan as Nakamura covers 1.. 2.. NOOO!!!! Yuji kicks out again as the fans cheer. Naka looks frustrated. He goes for a Yakuza Kick but Yuji catches it. He turns it to a Dragon Screw Legwhip. Then Applies the Nagata Lock. The fans are on their feet. Nakamura is yelling in pain. He looks like he wil tap but makes the ropes for the break. The fans applaud the effort of these 2 men. Nakamura keeps ahold of the ropes. Yuji is trying to pull him off. The ref tries to get in between. Yuji shoves him away. As that happens Black Tiger nails Yuji in the face with what seems to be Brass Knucks. Yuji falls back into the ring. Tanahashi is shocked asking BT what is he doing? Tiger shoves him away and focuses on the ring. Nakamura is up. Nagata is starting to stir. Naka hits the Shining Triangle Choke. It looks like the end for Yuji here. He is barely moving but hasn't tapped. He seems to have been rendered unconscious. The ref see and this and looks to time keeper to call this match over.

But Yuji then cries out a guttural scream. He somehow gets to his feet with Naka still clamped on and drives him to the mat breaking the hold. Both men are down now. The crowd is on their feet trying to rally behind Yuji. Nakamura is up first. He goes to the corner and stomps his foot as he usually does before delivering his finisher the Boma Ye. Yuji slowly tries to stand but can't. He is too beaten down. Naka is yelling at Yuji. "GET UP" Yuji tries again and collapses before Shinsuke can deliver the blow. Naka then walks over and picks him up for another Landslide. But Yuji counters into the Nagata Lock IV (Lebell Lock). The crowd is going crazy. Naka's arm and legs are flailing wildly. HE TAPS!! HE TAPS!!!!

Winner: Yuji Nagata (33:06)

After the match Black Tiger runs in and attacks. Stomping away at Nagata as Tanahashi checks on Nakamura. Tiger hits the Black Suplex then rips off his mask to reveal it's Kurt Angle. Tanahashi seems surprised. Now Nakamura is up. He and Angle Double Power Bomb Yuji. Angle grabs the ring bell as Naka is screaming at Yuji. Nakamura ties up Nagata in the ropes. Angle is going to smash the bell across the face of Yuji. But then Tanahashi grabs the bell away from Kurt! Nakamura slaps Tanahashi telling him to follow orders. Tanahashi smashes the bell over Nakamura's head as the crowd pops! He turns to Angle who angrily jumps out the ring. He goes and tries to help Shinsuke out the arena. As Tanahashi frees Yuji. Yuji collapses and medics have entered to check on him as Hiroshi stands guard. The crowd chants "Ta-Na".

Tony Schiavone: What a gutsy performance from Yuji Ngata to get the win. I thought he was done for sure.

Gus Johnson: I did as well. Kurt Angle? He and Nakamura had plans, but I guess Tanahashi had enough of the situation.

Tony Schiavone: I don't know what caused him to turn on Nakamura, but I am glad he did. Yuji is the worse for wear. We will need to get him medical attention quickly. Well, folks, we have reached our intermission after that brutal battle. We'll be back shortly.

Match 13: UWF World Tag Team Titles: Power & Glory © w/Slick v. Skyscrapers

Results: The capacity crowd begins booing and buzzing as ''The Doctor of Style'' Slick leads the UWF World Tag Team Champions Power and Glory to the ring. Power and Glory seem unphased as the crowd really rains down the jeers. Paul Roma stands in center ring as Hercules pulls his shirt off for him, then both men begin posing and flexing their muscles as Slick grabs the housemic.........

Slick: ''It saddens the Slickster to have to inform all you Jive Soul Suckas that their aint gonna be no World Tag Title match here tonight! Cause for one thing those roodypoo Nasty Boys still cant be found, so they are a no factor. And the Slickster has it on good authority that those two steroided freaks, The Skyscrapers aint here either! Seems they would rather spot each other in the gym than taking a beating from the greatest tag team going today baby, my men, the Power and the Glory! So Mr. Referree, if you dont mind ring that bell and award my men the winners once again Daddy-o!''

The ref has the UWF World Tag titles in hand and looks to the dressing room area and we still dont see any sign of the challengers. That is until the ref begins making his mandatory ten count! Then the next thing we see is The Skyscrapers rush the ring with manager Bill Alphonso right behind! The Scrapers enter the ring and are all over Power and Glory! The ref calls for the bell as Sid nails Hercules with a vicious clothesline that literally knocks him out cold and to the arena floor! Slick tries his best to revive him. Inside the ring, Spivey hits a overhead fallaway suplex on Roma! As Roma gets up staggering, Sid hits a big boot to the face. The Scrapers then hit a double clothesline on Roma, whos in big trouble now. Sid powers Roma up for a military press slam as Spivey follows with a legdrop. The crowd is pumped as Alphoso yells for the Scrapers to finish Roma off. Sid grabs Roma and hits a Powerbomb like never before! The crowd is deafening as Sid looks out into the crowd before dropping down to cover Roma, 1.......2.........3!!

The Skyscrapers are the new UWF World Tag Team Champions!!

Bill Alphonso hands his team their newly won title belts and Sid drops down to one knee posing as Spivey stands behind him as the photographers at ringside snap away taking pictures of the wrestling history that has just been made!

Tony Schiavone: Slick tried to backtrack from this match, but it was too late. Maybe it was wishful thinking on his part. But, the Skyscrapers did what they do best and get the win.

Gus Johnson: Sid and Dan Spivey are now the first ever three-time champions in the UWF. Congratulations to them.

The bell rings they circle and tie up. Rock pushes Savage into the ropes. They break clean. They tie up again and Savage pushes Rock into the corner. Another clean break. The atmosphere is thick with anticipation of the violence that is soon to come. They go to tie up again but Savage slaps the face of Rock. The crowd lets out a "Oooooohh". The Rock walks right up to Savage and Macho slaps him again. The Rock at first looks shocked then nods and smiles. Savage tries again but rock blocks it and starts firing right hands. The fight is on now. Both men have pulled out all stops. The action spills to the outside. Randy rams Rock's head into the guard railing. He quickly slides in the ring and goes up top for his Double Axe handle to the floor. But Rock is waiting and delivers a big punch to Savage's abdomen. Now Rock is laying the boots to him outside. Rock rolls in to stop the count then rolls back out and suplexes Randy on the floor. Rocky is back in the ring as the crowd starts a Rocky chant. You can also hear a "Let's Go Randy" chant too. 11 minutes have gone by and both men are still wailing at each other. Rock goes for a Rock Bottom but Macho elbows his way out of it. Then he grabs Rock and hits a Rock Bottom of his own. He covers...1.. 2.. NO!

Rock kicks out. Randy starts punching Rock in the forehead. He then gets up and points to the sky as he twirls. The fans pop for this. Randy waits for Rock to get to his feet then hits the ropes and delivers his Flying Clothesline. He covers but gets just 2. Randy tosses Rock over the top rope. He climbs the turnbuckle and this time connects with the Flying Double Axe Handle. He rolls Rocky in. He bodyslams him then motions that he's going up again. As he gets there Rock jumps up he grabs Savage and Delivers a Super-Plex from the top buckle! Both men are down on the mat. Were approaching 18 minutes. Rock is up first. Rock Bottom again! 1.. 2.. 3!!!! Winner: The Rock (28:58)

Tony Schiavone: That was a nearly a half hour clinic in wrestling and brawling by the two former World Champions. The Rock may have won the battle, but both men can stand tall after that mach.

Gus Johnson: Back and forth battle for sure. I could have watched these two go at it for another twenty plus minutes.

Tony Schiavone: It will go down as one of the best, for sure. It is time for the World Six-Man Title match featuring the Riot Squad and the Negro League.

Gus Johnson: We mentioned earlier that Cindy Rogers hold the Women's record for most Wrestlemania matches, excluding battle royals. Ron Killings now holds the men's record at three. Can he add to his long list of accomplishments in the UWF with another World Title tonight?

Match #15: UWF World Six-Man Titles: The Riot Squad © w/Sir Oliver Humperdink vs The Negro League
Results: The introductions are made and it seems the fans have decided to mostly back the challengers tonight. Ron Killings starts it out with Johnny Barend. The bell rings and their is no tie ups. These two men just start throwing punches. Killings has the early advantage but a well placed knee by Johnny changes that. Collins is in and hits a running shoulder block then applies a headlock. Ron is able to shove King Ripper to the ropes where Cameron trips him up allowing Truth to hit his Spinning Forearm smash. Tag is made to Brodus who slams Collins to the mat, then drops an elbow. In comes New Jack who just starts to stomp on the back of Collins. NJ and Killings double suplex Collins. Ron covers for 2. The Negro League continue to double team awhile keeping King Ripper in their half of the ring.

Brodus hits a Powerslam but Barend breaks up the pin attempt. New Jack is back in he hits a Side Slam then goes up top for the 187. He comes down but misses. Collins is trying to get to his corner NJ grabs his leg trying to pull him back, but It's too late as the tag is made to to Iaukea.

Curtis "Da Bull" Iaukea was able to use his massive girth and power to turn the tide for his team. The Riot Squad was able to keep New Jack isolated in their corner for the next several minutes. After two failed attempts at a tag, New Jack was finally able to tag in Ron Killings. He came in like a house of fire cleaning house. He took on all three members of the Riot Squad by himself and seemed to have them on the ropes. He took down Barend and Collins with relative ease, but Curtis gave him some major problems. Killings ran into Iaukea like he was a brick wall. Killings then attempted to throw "Da Bull" with a hip toss. Iaukea blocked that and then nearly took Killings out of his shoes with a vicious clothesline. The Riot Squad used this opportunity to regain control. Unfortunately for them it didn't last long. Momentum again grew for the challengers. In almost a last ditch effort the Riot Squad went to their finisher, The Three Man Alley Oops(Double Backdrop into an elevated DDT). New Jack and Brodus interrupted the execution of the move and Killings got a very near fall with an inside cradle on the King that was barely broken up by Barend.

Now all six men were battling in the ring. Sir Oliver Humperdink jumped on the ring apron with Teddy Long soon to follow. Teddy was choking Humperdink with his two hands. As the ref tried to get the managers off the ring apron, The Bella Twins made their way to ringside. They got cut off in the aisle by Naomi and Cameron. Brie Bella managed to throw something in the ring to Johnny Barend. Interception. New Jack caught the object and nailed Barend flush in the forehead with it. New Jack went to make the cover. The ref was still trying to get Long and Humperdink off the ring apron. As this was going on King Ripper Collins reached into his tights and tossed out a huge cloud of powder that went directly into the eyes of New Jack. New Jack walked into Curtis Iaukea and got nailed with a belly to belly suplex. Iaukea's on New Jack for the cover. The referee see's Iaukea making the cover and makes a count. One...two...three !!!

After the match is over Cameron and Naomi chase the Bella Twins to the back. The King is celebrating in the ring when he gets caught with a T-Bone Suplex from Brodus that flattens the monarch. Barend is brawling with Killings. Killings gets in a low kick and then nails the scissors kick laying out Barend on the mat. Iaukea goes after Killings. He goes for a clothesline, but Killings ducks. Giant Back Suplex by Brodus Clay on the humungous Curtis Iaukea. Ron Killings comes off the top rope with a leg drop to the face of "Da Bull". Brodus sees Humperdink and looks to be going after him. Humperdink tries to run away, but Teddy Long tosses him back in the ring. Brodus runs into him like a freight train. The Negro League are now standing over their prey. The referee tries to return the world six man titles to the champion, but the Negro League snatches it out of his hands and hold it above their head to the cheers of the crowd before throwing it on the chests of the Riot Squad as they leave the ring.

Tony Schiavone: I thought New Jack had the win for sure. King Ripper just ripped the World Titles from the Negro League!

Gus Johnson: I thought we had new champions also. The Negro League manage to get the last word. These two teams will have another battle for sure.
