(8 woman tag match with a couple of newcomers to RSW involved. Antonio Inoki has an open door policy here, so many Freelancers appear semi-regularly. Lots of action here early on. Nozaki catches Wolf with a Missile Dropkick. Nakano hits Cherry with a Neckbreaker. Hamada superkicks Hashimoto only to get caught with a Lariat courtesy of Raquel.

We see the leader of Onna-Musha, Kagetsu, come out and watch the match from the rampway. Back in the ring Wolf powerslams Chisako for a two count. She tags in Raquel who lands a few elbows here sending her to the corner. She charges with a boot but Dash escapes and tags Hamada. Ayako lands a sries of kicks. Then hits Raquel with a Northern Lights Suplex. 1.. 2.. No. Hamada picks her up but Raquel catches her with a Jawbreaker. Tag into Hashimoto. She tells her partners to keep everyone away. She powerbombs Hamada! 1.. 2.. NO! Chihiro looks for a Belly to Belly but Hamada headbutts her. Jumping DDT from Hamada. Now with everyone else engaged elsewhere she hits the Hamada Driver (Leg hook sitout scoop slam piledriver). 1.. 2.. 3!)

Winner: Ayako Hamada (2-1)

(As Hamada and her team celebrate she is attacked from behind by Hana Kimura. Kimura has her down on the mat and is pounding down on her. Finally the other women pull them apart. Hamada is furious as Kimura blows her a kiss. Then gives her the finger. That makes Hamada break free and attack Kimura. She gets in a couple of licks before they are pulled apart again.)

2ND BATTLE

The Eliminators w/Larry Sweeney vs Taiji Ishimori & Kaz Hayashi

UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 Eliminators...VS...UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 Latest?cb=20140712143454UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 05-13

(At Road to Sunrise the Eliminators made their surprise entry into RSW. Attacking both Sho Tanaka and Yohei Komatsu during their singles match. Sweeney explained how a mix-up with scheduling cost them from being present for the Tag Title Tournament. Now they are here and are going to take that out on everyone.

Ishimori is a Young Lion that has really garnered a following from the Japan crowds. Kaz is a veteran who is looking to help guide the young Ishimori. Eliminators come out fast attacking their opponents. They have Hayashi in the corner as Kronus is hitting him him with some Martial Arts kicks. Saturn Gives him an overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. He covers but Kaz kicks out. He goes for a Vertical but Kaz floats out and nails a couple of dropkicks then an armdrag. He tags in Taiji who comes off the top rope with an elbow to the bicep. They continue to make a few tags and try to work the arm of Saturn but he cuts Ishimori off with an eye rake. Then a side suplex. Kronus is back in and nails a jumping elbow in the corner. Gourdbuster from Kronus but Hayashi breaks up the ensuing cover.

All 4 men are in now. Taiji ducks a jumping roundhouse from Kronus and hits him with Telaraña (Hammerlock cradle DDT). 1.. 2.. NO! Broken up by Saturn! Reverse DDT from Saturn. Kronus is getting to his feet they are looking for Total Elimination but Kaz shoves Ishimori out the way. Saturn takes his head off with a Lariat as Kronus sends Taiji to the floor. They stand Kaz up and hit him with Total Elimination. 1.. 2.. 3.)

Winners: The Eliminators (1-0)

3RD BATTLE

(The AoP have been very impressive here in RSW. Yoshi-Hashi & Goto have formed themselves a partnership from time to time. We get a great exchange of elbows from Goto and Rezar. Then Akam comes in and Goto exchanges blows with both men. All 3 are getting rocked Finally they drop Goto with a double elbow but they are then hit with a Flying Double Clothesline from the top from Yoshi-Hashi. Maria yelps in surprise. He covers both men but they powerfully toss him off.

Battle continues Goto hits Akam with the Shouten Kai (Vertical Suplex Sitout Side Slam) for a near fall as Maria has the referee momentarily distracted. Goto is blasted from behind sending him to the floor. Yoshi-Hashi is hammering away with closed fists but Akam nails him. They give him The Last Chapter (Russian legsweep / Lariat combination). Goto looks to enter the ring for the save but Maria stands in his way as the 3 count is made.

Winners: Authors of Pain (4-1)

(After the match as AoP celebrate Goto comes in and clotheslines both men through the ropes. Maria slaps the face of Hirooki. He just takes it. She goes to slap him again and he grabs her by the wrist. Maria drops to her knees in pain. He wags his finger in her face. She spits at him and Goto, now enraged grabs her for te GTR. But The AoP run back in. Goto drops her as he and Yoshi-Hashi fight them off. They lead Maria to the back who is sending threatening looks towards Goto.)

(Kagetsu is in Ohka's corner for this match. HZK is pissed at both these women who conspired to get her out of the Championship Match at Sunset. HZK dominates Yumi early on in the match then goes out the ring and attacks Kagetsu. But Ohka comes off the apron with a Double Axe Handle Then Ohka & Kagetsu double suplex her on the floor. Ohka now takes over for a while. Wearing HZK down with a nerve pinch.
The referee asks but HZK still has some fight in her.

She is able to break free with some elbows to the mid-section. She hits the ropes but is caught with a Yumi Dropkick. She follows with Sakura☆Star (Sitout inverted front powerslam). She goes up for the Sanma Drop (Diving turning splash). But HZK rolls out the way! STO from HZK. She goes up... HZKrunch! 1.. 2.. 3!)

5TH BATTLE

Minoru Suzuki 0-1      VS      CIMA 1-0

UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 250?cb=20170907123222......VS......UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 Cima

(Suzuki is joined by the rest of Suzuki-gun. CIMA is on his own. CIMA knows the reputation of Minoru and throws caution to the wind by attacking right at the onset. He nails a spinning back kick to the solar plexus of Suzuki. Then executes the Nakayubi (Front chancery transitioned into a DDT). No cover for CIMA as he knows Suzuki is as tough as they come and needs to keep on the attack. Basement dropkick to the head. He then locks in Turkey (Arm triangle choke). The crowd is starting to buzz but Suzuki is able to pull himself up and Powerbomb CIMA to the mat. He then tosses him to the floor and starts screaming at the referee. This was just a queue for Suzuki-gun to attack CIMA on the floor. They stomp and kick him a while before rolling him back in.

Suzuki now lays in some hard overhand slaps to the chest of CIMA. You can see it turning red right before our eyes. He then performs the Saka Otoshi (Inverted headlock takeover) He continues to grind the smaller man down on the mat. Minoru executes a little ground and pound. Then puts CIMA in a sitting position and hits the ropes for a running Penalty Kick. But CIMA Lays flat to avoid it then springs up and nails a Superkick! He follows with Perfect Driver (Cross-legged Sitout scoop slam Piledriver). He goes up... Mad Splash connects! 1.. 2..

NOOO!!! Minoru barely kicks out! CIMA goes for the Schwein (Over-the-shoulder back-to-belly Piledriver). But Suzuki fights lands a big knee to the jaw. then a vicious headbutt. He nails him with a Roaring Elbow. CIMA is out on his feet. Gotch-Style Piledriver spells the end of this one.)

Winner: Minoru Suzuki (1-1)

INTERMISSION

Mao, The Yellow Barbie steps into the ring for her interview segment.

UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 O0480031812379744588

Mao: Please welcome to the ring.... Daisuke Sekimoto. Sekimoto-san. You are one of the younger competitors here in RSW. You previously worked in the states with NextGeneration. Now you are here but it doesn't seem like you've found your footing yet.

Sekimoto. Yes I am still young and learning but I disagree about finding my footing so to speak. I love it here in RSW but its up to Inoki-san and the bookers to get me into higher profile match-ups.

Mao: Well you're record here in RSW is just 1-0.

Sekimoto: And that's my point. Undefeated here but on a night like tonight I'm not on the show. People say I have to prove myself but how can I do that without the opportunities?

(Out walks YAMATO. He has a look of disdain on his face. For the fans, For Mao and especially Sekimoto.)

Mao: YAMATO, This is not your time...

YAMATO: WHAAAAA!!!! WHAAAA!!!! I was sitting in the back... Minding my own business. Playing Sudoku on my phone and I heard the annoying wail of a child. Then I realized that child was you. "Nobody gives me a chance... WHAAA!!!" Oh shut up. You're 1-0? Who cares? People like you always cry and beg for opportunities. Guys like me make our own. Grow up kid. Or get out the business. But either way... Stop whining in the ring.

Sekimoto: YAMATO: You have a big mouth... Maybe instead of shutting mine I should close yours, permanently. Let's go!

YAMATO: What? For free? You see kid you have so much to learn. I don't do anything for anyone but myself. And that means unless I'm getting paid. Find some other sucker to build your name on.

(YAMATO walks out the ring.)

Mao: Well I apologize for that interruption, Daisuke.

Sekimoto: Just another big mouth hat doesn't have the nerve to face me and back it up, Mao. But I thank you for the  time and I want to let you guys know. I will make my mark here in 2018!

Mao: I believe you will. Thank you.

(Sekimoto raises his fist to the crowd then is Pearl Harbored from behind by a returning YAMATO. He is stomping on the head and neck of Sekimoto. Then pulls him up and sends him to the corner and hits Go to Hospital II (Running single leg dropkick to the side of a cornered opponent head). He drives a few knees to the prone body of Daisuke. Then pulls him up once more and delivers a Release German Suplex. Then applies his finisher, CBV – Cross Bone Vanguard (Chickenwing over the shoulder crossface). Officials are now in the ring trying to get YAMATO to release him. He finally does and is led out the ring while others are looking at Sekimoto.

First time we have seen a 10 Man Tag here in RSW. The rules are like the 8-Man matches as only those involved in the fall have their records reflected. LOt of action here. Some of the highlights were a nice Double Team sequence from Speed Muscle on Noam Dar. Shiozaki choke slamming Dragon Lee. Yuji getting Takagi in his seated armbar but Yujiro Takahashi breaking up the hold. Kamaitachi & Dar hitting dual springboard Legdrops on Marufuji.

Shingo powerslams Yoshino for a nearfall. He tags in Go. And they hit a Double back elbow smash. Yoshino scoots undet Shiozaki's legs and tag in Marufuji who is chopping the you know what out of Go. He rolls from the ring and Naomichi follows him out. Shingo starts to help his partner and Naruki Doi goes at him. Nagata slams Takahashi's head into the apron. Then looks for a running boot but Yujiro pulls Pieter in front of him. Nagata stops in his tracks as the #1 girl of Takahashi looks terrified. Yuji bows in respect to her but is waylayed by Yujiro. Dar and Yoshino are going at it in the ring. Noam has him in the corner and nails a Corner Dropkick. Then backs out and unleashes a Running European Upercut in the same corner. He goes for his Airplane Spin into a Northern Lights suplex. Which he calls The Foxcatcher in honor of his companion, Alicia. But Yoshino turns it into a Tornado DDT. He covers but is kicked in the face by Kamaitachi.

He pulls him up and nails Dynamite Plunger (Fireman's carry lifted into a sitout side powerslam). But Dragon Lee is in and snaps off a reverse Frankensteiner. Them hits a running Shooting Star! 1.. 2.. No! These two go back and forth for a bit. Then Kamaitachi hits a Fisherman suplex. He then goes for the Time Bomb. But Lee floats free and hits a juming Enzuguiri. He quickly moves in and hits Mother of Dragons (Bridging package fallaway powerbomb). 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner: Dragon Lee (1-0)

UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 DRrXYOzV4AAWLdF......VS......UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 IoShirai

(The rest of the CPC are ringside as you would expect. Azumi and Starlight Kid work as many of the young wrestlers do as security to keep fans away and to take the ring entrance gear from the competitors. Io hands the belt to the referee, Red Shoes, who holds it up then hands it to Starlight Kid to place on the Timekeeper's table.

Kiera and Raquel are already trash talking to the champ. The male audience is usually quite smitten with this threesome but tonight they are fully behind the fan favorite Io. Match starts off a bit slow as they are trying to figure each other out. Candy lands a knee to the bread basket and whips Io to the ropes. She drops her with a shoulder block. Then hits the ropes again but Io Leap Frogs her and then snaps her over with a Japanese Armdrag. Then she nails her with a dropkick and Candy rolls out the ring to regroup.

Kiera Hogan jumps on the apron yelling at Shirai. The referee is warning her to get down. The distraction allows Candy to slip in behind Io and club her to the back of the head. German Suplex from Candy connects. Candy laughs as the crowd boos. She rams the head of Io into the top turnbuckle. Then fires her across the ring to the far corner. She follows in with a corner splash. She looks for a Vertical Suplex but Io blocks it and gives her one of her own. She quickly hits a Lionsault. 1.. 2.. No!

Shirai goes up looking for her Moonsault Double Stomp. but Candy is up and delivers a Back Superplex.. She covers 1.. 2.. No! She hits Hard Candy (Twisting Facebuster)! 1.. 2.. NOOO!!!! Io gets her foot on the bottom rope! She drags her away from the ropes and hits Candy Crush (Cartwheel into an Elbow drop) Candy hooks the leg and tries again but Shirai kicks out. Cartwright takes a deep breath from a kneeling position. She pulls Io up and looks for Candy Kick but Io ducks the kick and gives her a Rolling Sole Butt Kick to the head. Then she grabs her and delivers Suplex de Io (Bridging package German suplex). 1.. 2.. 3!)

Winner: Io Shirai (4-0)

After the match Shirai is attacked by Kiera and Raquel. Azumi and Starlight Kid try to intervene but are taken out as well. Then HZK runs down and clears the ring.

UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 CeQYVpGWAAAR6il.....VS.....UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 200full-kenta-kobayashi

(These two men have been feuding since day 1 here in RSW. Bennett holds a victory over KENTA from the Awaken show. Now KENTA gets his shot at redemption. Bennett gets a kiss from his wife. Then charges KENTA but he's ready and ducks a clothesline and begins unleashing a series of strikes. He ends it with a spin kick that sends Mike over the ropes and to the floor. Action continues out there as they are trading elbows. Bennett goes to the eyes then fires KENTA into the ring steps.

Bennett returns to the ring as the referee puts the count on KENTA. He is able to return at 14. Bennett is right on him though. Battering him with punches. He sends him into the ropes and nails him with a Spinning Spinebuster. He goes right into an Anaconda Vise. KENTA refuses to quit and eventually wiggles to a rope break. Bennett stays on the attack but KENTA is firing back. He lands a few knife hand smashes across the pectoral region of Mike. He then lets off a Koutoubu Kick that sends Bennett into the corner. KENTA follows up with running big boot to the head of Bennett. He sits him on the top rope. Then gives him a Falcon Arrow from the top! 1.. 2..

NOOO!!!! Bennett barely kicks out! Maria is besides herself. Now trying to get the referee's attention. But this time KENTA doesn't let her distract him. He picks him up for the GTS. But Mike elbows free and hits a Backstabber on KENTA. He lifts him up for Kingdom Come (Samoan Driver). He nails it! 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!!!!! KENTA kicks out! Blonde Bashers 3-2

UWF- Rising Sun Wrestling: SUNRISE 2018 News_13393_8

Rematch form the Grand Prix Tag Team Finals and again the RSW Tag Titles are on the line here. Kelly points out how this team of Sanada and EVIL have never tasted defeat here in RSW. Tanaka predicts that changes tonight. The match is hard hitting and stiff as you would expect from these teams. Makabe press slams Sanada to the mat. Then in comes Honma for a Kokechi but he misses. Tag into EVIL who hits a spin kick on Honma. He then goes for a German Suplex but Honma blocks it does a switch and tries his own. But EVIL blocks that as well. So Honma headbutts EVIL in the back of the head and then delivers the German Suplex.

Togi is back in and fires EVIL into the corner he comes charging and nails a corner clothesline. Then goes for a Bulldog but EVIL counters into a German Suplex. In comes Sanada who is stomping the head of Makabe. The tag champs continue to make tags and work over Togi. They try a few covers but can't keep him down. Mio is barking out instructions to keep up the assault. Not to give him time to recover. They go for a double suplex but Honma runs in and catches his partner. They then hit a pair of clotheslines. Then they connect on a pair of Powerslams. Honma hits both of them with Kokechis. He covers EVIL for 2.

Makabe comes in and gives Sanada a Powerbomb. Tetsuya Bushi jumps on the apron. But Honma hits him with a Torpedo Kokechi driving him to the floor.
