Show opens with a shot of the crowd inside Du Burns arena, on the shores of the inner harbor in Baltimore, Maryland .... We hear the voice of XWA announce team Tom Phillips and Renee Young, and they welcome the fans to this weeks show and they talk about what we are going to see tonight ....
'MAN IN THE BOX' by Alice in Chains hits and brings out Tommy Dreamer .... He wants to thank the man that came to his rescue last week, his friend, 'Mr. Wrestling' Kevin Steen! Steen comes out to a big reaction from the XWA fans .... Dreamer and Steen are looking for a fight tonight ....
They are interrupted by Eric Bischoff's legal counsel and part-time wrestler David Otunga .... Otunga has had his problems recently with Dreamer on the first 2 episodes of XWA television .... Otunga says he's a graduate of Harvard law school, but he isn't afraid to fight .... He says he accepts Dreamers challenge, and he will go find his partner somewhere in the dark corners of the arena because his partner is going to be Abyss!
IN THE BACK - Josh Matthews catches up with CJ Parker .... Parker cuts a promo on the Sandman .... Sandman says he's hardcore, but Parker is hardcore too! He is hardcore about the environment! He criticizes everyone for being the ones that are destroying the environment, and he reminds them there is 'No Planet B'
Back in the arena, 'ENTER SANDMAN' hits and the crowd goes wild .... Sandman comes out through the crowd, but as he is doing his signature entrance he is attacked from behind by CJ Parker! Parker gets in a cheap shot and tosses Sandman in the ring and we have an impromptu match!
Sandman -vs- CJ Parker
Because of his pre-match attack, Parker has the advantage for a good part of the opening moments .... However, Sandman puts a stop to all of that .... Sandman introduces the plunder to the match and CJ takes a couple of signature cane shots .... It's all Sandman in this environment .... He sets up a table, then puts Parker through it with the 'Heineken-rana and gets the 3 count ....
After the match, the Sandman pops a beer and pours it on Parker .... However, 'DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS' by Disturbed hits signaling the entrance of Eric Bischoff's hand-picked XWA superstar, 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan! Morgan comes out, but Sandman is obviously not intimidated .... Morgan lays Sandman out with a big clothesline, then he picks Sandman up and hits the 'Hell-evator' (vertical Suplex spun into a Urinage) right on top of a trash can!!!!
Morgan poses, then turns and leaves the ring .... Meanwhile, Parker has recovered somewhat and he re-enters the ring and takes the Sandman's cane! Parker leaves the ring before Sandman can recover ....
IN THE BACK - more shenanigans backstage from Enzo Amore & Colin Cassidy backstage .... They are interrupted by the appearance of the Fortunate Sons, Ted Dibiase Jr. and DH Smith .... They are well-dressed in suits .... There are some words exchanged, and of course Enzo wants to fight .... Cassidy holds him back, but then a tag match is made for later tonight ....
Mandy Leon is out in the parking deck with a bunch of people dressed in various Cosplay outfits .... They are all waiting for the arrival of Adam Rose, who will make his debut tonight .... The 'Exotic Express' bus pulls up, and the crowd goes wild .... Adam Rose debuts next ....
Adam Rose makes his debut, bringing out his entourage of followers to the ring .... However, before the match can start they are interrupted by a man that comes out to the ring in street clothes .... It's Tomasso Ciampa! Ciampa interrupts and says that this is the 3rd XWA show, and yet he isn't on the card .... Instead, we get a sideshow freak like Adam Rose .... He is giving Paul Heyman a week to fix this, or he will take matters into his own hands ....
Adam Rose w/ the Entourage -vs- 'Mr. Pectacular' Jessie Godderz
Lots of comedy in this match with Rose, who has very bizzare antics .... But he shows he can get dirty and wrestle as well .... After taking some offense from
Jessie, Rose stops him cold with the 'choo choo' lariat that nearly takes his head off .... Rose connects with the 'Party Foul' for the 3 count ....
Ciampa, who is seated ringside, just stands up and gives a condescending clap before he just walks off ....
PROMO - a promo for the upcoming XWA Cup airs .... This years XWA cup will crown the new XWA champion .... The promo introduces the first competitor in the XWA cup, JOHN MORRISON!
Adrian Neville -vs- The Great Sanada
Action is quick and fast-paced as you would expect .... Sanada is doing his Great Muta gimmick that he has in TNA right now .... Neville is pretty over with the fans due to his unique move set, and he sends 'oooohs' and 'aaaahhhs' as he finishes off Sanada with the 'Red Arrow' ....
INSIDE XWA segment with Josh Matthews ....
The XWA cup is fast approaching, and we heard earlier the first announced entrant into the tournament: John Morrison .... Matthews announces the 2nd entrant into the tournament: Adam Cole ....
Cole cuts a promo about how people tell him all the time that he is the future and he is going to be great one day .... He is tired of hearing that crap because he is great right now! Everyone wants him to wait his turn and give everyone their chance in the spotlight, but there is no way in hell he is going to do that because you are looking at the next XWA champion ....
'The Shooter' Brent Albright -vs- 'Pro Wrestlings Last Real Man' Silas Young
This match stems from an incident between the 2 on the last XWA show .... They meet nose to nose in the middle of the ring and Silas slaps Albright .... Albright tears into Silas, but Silas gives as good as he gets .... This is a very stiff and hard-hitting affair .... At one point Albright manages to trap Silas in his 'crowbar' Fujiwara armbar submission, but Silas bites his own hand to keep from tapping out .... Silas reverses it and slaps the Fujiwara armbar on Albright instead! Albright struggles but manages to make it to the ropes .... Silas goes for the turnbuckle handstand into his signature split-legged moonsault, but Albright breaks up the move and drills Young with 4 consecutive rolling German suplexes! Silas is out on his feet, and Albright drops him right on his head with a half Nelson Suplex! This is enough to get the 3 count!
After the match, the fans give them a standing ovation and chant 'THAT WAS WRESTLING!' Albright offers a handshake to Silas, but Silas blows snot at him instead and just walks off holding the back of his neck .... Albright tries to go back after him but is restrained by the referee ....
IN THE BACK - Paul Heyman is with Josh Matthews backstage .... He talks about the XWA cup, and says for the first time the entire XWA roster will have a chance to become the XWA champion .... Eric Bischoff comes in and interrupts .... Bischoff steals Heymans thunder in announcing the format of the tournament, which will be laid out like the NCAA tournament with seedings and such .... Bischoff announces that his hand-picked superstar Matt Morgan is the 3 seed in the tournament
The Fortunate Sons (Ted Dibiase Jr & DH Smith) -vs- Enzo Amore & Colin Cassidy
Enzo and Big Cass come out first .... Enzo is a 'certified G and a bonafide stud, and you can't teach that' .... Meanwhile, Big Cass is 7ft tall and you can't teach that .... Bada Boom! Realist guys in the room! Enzo starts out the match and we get some comedy spots, but when Big Cass comes in it's a different story .... He and DH Smith match power early on .... Enzo plays the face in peril as the fans rally behind he and Cassidy, and Big Cass gets the hot tag and cleans house .... Cass has Dibiase at his mercy until he is distracted by a woman at ringside that turns out to be Lacey Von Erich! DH takes Cass out of the match, leaving Enzo and Dibiase in the ring where Dibiase is able to hit the 'Dream Street' for the 3 count!
Lacey leaves arm and arm with Dibiase and Smith as this 2nd generation stable continues to grow ....
It is now time for the main event ....
Street Fight: Tommy Dreamer & Kevin Steen -vs- Abyss & David Otunga
Otunga comes out before the match and 'recuses' himself from the match .... Instead he introduces his replacement, the 'Blueprint' Matt Morgan .... Morgan & Abyss vs Steen & Dreamer and the fight is on .... Steen is super over .... It doesn't take long for this to break down into a street fight, and Dreamer disappears to the back and wheels out a dumpster full of weapons .... Abyss takes some shots with a trash can from Steen .... Dreamer bridges a guardrail across some chairs and then tries to super-plex Morgan onto it, but Morgan fights him off .... Abyss ends up choke slamming Steen onto the bridged guardrail instead! Dreamer hits a DDT on Abyss, then is going to Piledrive him on a stack of chairs but Morgan takes out Dreamer with the carbon footprint! Morgan picks Dreamer up and plants him with the 'Hell-evator' and that's it! Morgan gets the 3 count!
Morgan stands tall in the ring, with Bischoff singing his praises as the show ends ....
