Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 22: Scum and Villainy Latest?cb=20140429200830

We go live to a shot of the crowd at Bethnal Green as RPW is live in Greater London at York Hall .... ARE YOU READY FOR A REVOLUTION!!!!

Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 22: Scum and Villainy Revolution_pro_wrestling-4577074963

PREVIOUSLY ON REVOLUTION PRO WRESTLING:

- Marty Scurll challenged Finn Balor to a match for the Junior title, leading to tonight’s main event
- Decay made their intentions known to challenge the Authors of Pain for the RPW tag team titles by taking out Truth Martini and destroying the Book of Truth
- British Strong Style continued their hostile takeover of RPW, taking out Tye Dillinger and Aleister Black before Pete Dunne defeated GM Fit Finlay in the main event

INTRODUCTION ----

NOTE *** This show broadcasts more like a DVD like the old ROH shows release rather than a live show like Raw or Smackdown .... the backstage segments are pre-taped and most of the action takes place in the ring *** ....

RENEE YOUNG and WILLIAM REGAL are once again on commentary ....

ON TONIGHT’S SHOW:

Finn Balor defends the Junior Heavyweight title against #1 contender Marty Scurll

Authors of Pain defend the RPW tag team titles against Decay

‘Limitless’ Keith Lee
- vs -
Darby Allen

This is basically a squash match for Lee, who they call the ‘Black Godzilla’ .... Lee wins with the Spirit Bomb (Pop up Last Ride)

British Strong Style hits the ring and attacks Lee after the bell .... it’s a 3 on 1 beat down until Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle hit the ring to make the save .... British Strong Style heads for higher ground, but out comes Fit Finlay .... Finlay makes an impromptu 6 man tag match, RIGHT NOW!  And McIntyre & Riddles partner will be .... ALEISTER BLACK!!!

6 man tag team match:
British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) ... UK
- vs -
Drew McIntyre, Matt Riddle & Aleister Black

British Strong Style is able to get the win in this one as Pete Dunne hits a low blow on Riddle followed by the Bitter End for the 3 count ....

Aleister Black doesn’t appear to be on the same page as his other teammates, and he walks off after the match is over ....

Zack Sabre Jr (UK)
- vs -
Cedric Alexander w/ Santana, Laurel Van Ness & Tony Nese

Very athletic match .... ZSJ gets the win after a Penalty Kick followed by the European clutch for the pinfall ....

BEST OF 3 SERIES (Series tied 1-1)
American Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards)
- vs -
The Project (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano)

Both teams go balls to the wall in the final match of this series .... the action spills outside the ring and the ref lets a lot of it go .... it’s about proving who is the best .... The Project hits ‘meet in the middle’ on Richards, but Edwards breaks up the pin .... the Wolves come back and hit the Force of Nature on Ciampa, but he kicks out at 2!!!!  Gargano back in and runs wild as a baby face, hitting the lawn dart on Edwards followed by a superkick for 2!!!!  He locks on the ‘Garga-No escape’ and Edwards looks like he’s about to tap but Richards grabs an ankle lock!  Ciampa with a high knee strike breaks it up!  Project Ciampa to Richards!  Edwards takes out Ciampa with a codebreaker!!!!  Gargano charges, but Edwards trips him up and locks on the Achilles lock!  Edwards stomps on the back of Garganos head repeatedly!  HE’S OUT!  The ref calls for the bell!

The fans give all 4 guys a standing ovation after this one .... they are all exhausted and they get the ice pack treatment as they soak it in .... they all meet in the middle and shake hands, although Ciampa is resistant at first .... finally he shakes hands and all 4 men embrace and raise each other’s hands to the delight of the crowd ....

Womens Tag Team Match
Winter & Priscilla Kelly
- vs -
Holly & Hannah Blossom

Winter and Kelly play a borderline lesbian succubus gimmick where they feed off the sexual energy of others .... they are very sensual in their mannerisms and their interaction with each other .... Kelly appears to be under the ‘power’ of Winter ....

Winter has the pin after hitting the Ice Breaker, but instead she tags in Kelly and lets her lock in the ‘trapped in sin’ for the tap out .... Kelly keeps the hold locked on even after the bell rings ....

For the RPW tag team titles
(Champions) The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) ... UNKNOWN
- vs -
Decay (Abyss & Crazzy Steve) w/ Rosemary ... UNKNOWN

Decay attacks AOP as they make their way to the Ring, and they handcuff Akam to the railing in the isle .... Rezar has to battle both guys and gets worked over, but Akam pulls the section of railing loose and tries to climb in the Ring with it .... this match has no semblance of order and is just a big brawl .... Rosemary tries to get involved but accidentally sprays mist in the face of Steve!!!! .... Abyss hits the Black Hole slam on Rezar but he kicks out at 2!  Akam rips loose from the handcuffs and rejoins the match, and the AOP hit the super collider on Abyss and Crazzy Steve!  Last Chapter on Crazzy Steve that’s enough to get the 3 count to retain the titles!

AOP celebrate with the titles when out comes ...

... REDRAGON!!!!

The former world tag team champions are in RPW!!!!  O’Reilley and Fish  stand face to face with the AOP, then suddenly attack!!!!  Renee says that AOP are a team that Truth Martini brought together, but Redragon were brought together by Martini as well!!!!  AOP just went through a war with Decay and they are vulnerable, and Redragon take advantage .... they take out BOTH Akam and Rezar!  CHASING THE DRAGON TO REZAR!!!!  They aren’t done there, and they turn their attention to Decay .... CRAZZY STEVE GETS CHASING THE DRAGON TOO!!!!  ReDragon stand tall, then leave the ring with both Decay and the AOP laid out ....

MAIN EVENT: for the UWF Junior Heavyweight Championship
(Champion) Finn Balor (IRELAND)
- vs -
(Fighting Spirit Champion) ‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll (UK)

These 2 finally meet one on One for the first time, and its everything that you would expect .... they battle back and forth, each man getting their signature spots and moves in .... Marty Scurll even has part of the crowd cheering for him by the time this match is over .... Scurll works over the shoulder of Balor for much of the match, setting up for the chicken wing .... Balor hits the coup de grace but Scurll kicks out at 2!!!!  He goes for Bloody Sunday, but the arm is weakened and Scurll breaks it .... FINGER BREAK SPOT!  Scurll locks on the chicken wing!!!!  Balor battles to his feet and nearly breaks the hold, but Scurll takes him back down with body scissors!  Balor is trapped .... THE BELL RINGS!!!!

The crowd erupts as we have a NEW Junior Heavyweight Champion!!!!  Scurll grabs the title and holds it up, but the ref takes the belt away .... apparently Balor did NOT submit and the 45 minute time limit expired instead!

Balor and Scurll meet in the middle of the ring, and Balor offers Scurll a handshake .... The fans are cheering for both guys at this point .... Scurll fakes the handshake and instead attacks Balor!  He rams him shoulder-first into the ringpost multiple times!  Chicken wing locked on again!!!!  It takes multiple referees to pull Scurll off of Balor, and he holds up the Junior Heavyweight title over the fallen Balor as the show ends ....
