Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 19: The Great American Bash

We get a small set from England's own Ed Sheeran as the show is ready to start ....

Pyrotechnics go off and we are ready for the very first RPW show on US soil .... THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH!!!!

The fans are rabid as we start this .... RPW has developed a cult following in the states but this is the first time anyone in the US has got to see a show live ....


British Warfare Match:
Tye Dillinger (USA)

RULES: 2 people start .... a new entrant comes in every 90 seconds .... elimination is by pinfall or submission ....

CJ Parker starts and the next entrant is 'Limitless' Keith Lee making his RPW debut .... Lee is a 335 lb monster that can fly around like a cruiserweight .... Parker tries to run right at Lee, which is a mistake, and he gets tossed around .... Parker outside and Lee hits a springboard dive that squishes Parker on the floor!  Next out is Travis Banks, and he tries to attack Lee but gets the same treatment .... Lee continues to dominate, and the ring starts to fill up with people .... The final entrant of the Battle Royal is the returning DREW MCINTYRE!!!!  The first elimination comes when Lee drills Parker with the Spirit Bomb and pins him .... CJ PARKER IS ELIMINATED ....Crazzie Steve comes out, but Jimmy Havoc appears and attacks him on his way to the ring!  Havoc beats the hell out of him and tosses him in the ring, where Davey Richards KO's him with the Creeping Death kick .... CRAZZIE STEVE IS ELIMINATED .... the crowd favorite, Tye Dillinger, gets into the act by eliminating Travis Banks with the Tye Breaker .... TRAVIS BANKS IS ELIMINATED .... Davey Richards has Lee trapped in the Kimura, but Lee just powers clean out of it and turns it into a jackhammer to eliminate Richards .... DAVEY RICHARDS IS ELIMINATED .... .... it's down to the final 4 of Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre, Tye Dillinger, and Keith Lee .... everyone tries to team up and eliminate Lee, but he fights them all off .... he tries for the Spirit Bomb on Dillinger, but McIntyre cuts him off with a claymore kick!  Riddle follows with a V Trigger knee strike and then Dillinger hits the 'Perfect 10' (codebreaker with exposed knee)!  Dillinger covers and eliminates Lee .... KEITH LEE IS ELIMINATED .... .... it's a free for all now with all 3 men going at it .... Dillinger tosses Riddle, but McIntyre grabs him and goes for the future shock .... Dillinger reverses into the Tye Breaker!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Riddle back in and Dillinger goes for the Tye Breaker on him but Riddle escapes .... V TRIGGER!  He scoops him up .... BRO 2 SLEEP!!!!  1 ... 2 ... 3 .... TYE DILLINGER IS ELIMINATED .... it's down to McIntyre and Riddle .... fans want Riddle to win BADLY .... they brawl back and forth, and McIntyre hits a running powerslam on the ring apron!  McIntyre locks on the Iron Maiden but Riddle won't tap .... Riddle fires up but eats an air raid crash .... NO SELL!  Riddle fires back with the V Trigger, then scoops McIntyre up for the Bro 2 Sleep .... McIntyre escapes and fires back with the Claymore kick!  Riddle is on dream street as McIntyre drills him with a 2nd claymore kick!  1 ... 2 ... Riddle kicks out!!!!  Riddle fires up, no selling everything and unleashes open hand strikes on McIntyre .... he misses the up kick, allowing McIntyre to score with a lariat that turns Riddle inside out!  McIntyre hits a 3rd Claymore kick, and that is enough to get the 1 ... 2 ... 3! MATT RIDDLE IS ELIMINATED ....



McIntyre celebrates, and the fans seem to be embracing him this time .... McIntyre now becomes the #1 contender for the Fighting Spirit title ....


6 man elimination match
British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) --- (UK)
- vs -
Premier Athlete Brand (Tony Nese, Cedric Alexander & Tyson Kidd) --- (USA)

Kidd and Bate start it off and we get some nice chain wrestling .... Kidd does some jumping jacks in the ring to taunt Bate .... Seven and Alexander are tagged in quickly, and Alexander uses his quickness to get the advantage .... Seven battles back, but Nese interferes from the outside allowing Alexander to hit the Lumbar Check!  Kidd follows with the springboard elbow drop and Trent Seven is eliminated ....

It's 3-2 in favor of the Brand, and Dunne enters and fights it out with Kidd .... Nese is in and the Brand push the advantage but Bate comes back in and all 5 men are going at it .... Nese goes for the running knee strike in the corner on Dunne, but Bate blocks his path .... BIP & BOP BY BATE!  He hits the Tyler Driver 97 and pins Nese to eliminate him!  

Dunne and Kidd go at it back and forth and we get the double clothesline spot with both men down .... Kidd tags in Alexander who flies in with a springboard clothesline that stops Dunne from making the tag to Bate .... Alexander goes for the Lumbar Check but Dunne flips out to land on his feet and turns Alexander inside out with a lariat .... Dunne crawls over and makes the hot tag to Bate, who runs wild .... dead lift German to Alexander but Kidd breaks it up .... Dunne back in and all 4 men battle it out .... Dunne gets sent to the floor, and Bate goes for the Tyler Driver 97 on Kidd but Alexander clips the knee!  Kidd and Alexander hit a modified Hart Attack, and then Kidd locks on the Dungeon lock on Bate!  Bate taps out, and we are back to 2-1 ....

Dunne runs wild on both guys, scoop slamming Kidd into the ropes .... he hits the Crash Landing (rolling release vertical suplex) on Alexander .... Dunne goes for the Bitter End on Kidd but gets hit with an enziguri .... Kidd with a swinging neck Breaker and tags in Alexander, who goes for the 5 star frog splash .... MISSES!!!!  Dunne cradles Alexander for the 1 ... 2 ... 3!!!!  

Down to 1-1 now .... Kidd comes in quickly and rolls up Dunne for the surprise pin but he kicks out at 2.999!  

Kidd stomps away, then locks on a sharpshooter!  Dunne fights to the ropes .... Kidd goes for a blockbuster but Dunne moves and Kidd crashes and burns!  Dunne fires up and hits a tiger suplex but Kidd with a super kick!  2 count!  Kidd goes for the springboard elbow drop but Dunne is on his feet .... KIDD LEAPS RIGHT INTO A KO ELBOW FROM DUNNE!  Dunne tosses him into the ropes .... GO 2 EUROPE (pop up European uppercut)!!!!  1 ... 2 ... Noooo!  Kidd kicks out!  Dunne to the 2nd rope but Kidd catches him on the way down and goes for the Dungeon Lock again!  Dunne fights free and catches Kidd in the Bitter End out of nowhere!  1 ... 2 ... 3!  British Strong Style win the 6 man elimination match!





Monsters Ball match
Jimmy Havoc (UK)

Abyss (UNKNOWN)

Havoc tries to attack with a kendo stick to begin, but that doesn’t work too well as Abyss takes control .... Abyss with a corner splash and then sends Havoc to the floor .... They brawl at ringside and Abyss sends Havoc to the steps .... Abyss goes under the ring and starts pulling out plunder and tossing it into the ring ....  Havoc gets his hands on a trash can lid and nails Abyss with several shots .... Havoc retrieves a board with barbed wire on it from under the ring and sets it up in the corner .... He tries to whip Abyss into it but they counter each other, each man teasing going into the barbed wire .... Havoc counters with a low blow to Abyss, then gets a metal turnbuckle rod and tries to skull Abyss with it .... But Abyss has a cheese grater!  RAKES IT ACROSS HAVOC's BALLS!  HOLY SHIT!!!!  Abyss goozles Havoc and choke slams him through the barbed wire board!!!!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Somehow Havoc kicks out!!!!  Crazzie Steve comes down to ring side and is carrying something .... Janice (Abyss' 2×4 with nails coming out of it)!!!!  Abyss tries to Negan Havoc in the corner but he misses and Janice gets stuck in the turnbuckle!  Abyss tries to pull it loose, allowing Havoc time to grab a chair and smash Abyss in the head with it .... Steve on the apron and Havoc swings but misses and gets taken down with a big boot from Abyss .... Steve goes under the ring and pulls out a black bag and hands it to Abyss .... THUMBTACKS!!!!  The fans are actually chanting 'JIM-MY HAV-OC! (Clap, clap, clap clap clap) .... Abyss goozles Havoc, but he bites Abyss' hand to break the hold!  Abyss charges Havoc but he dodges and Abyss crashes through the barbed wire board that was propped in the corner earlier!!!!  Havoc gets a trash can and smashes Abyss with it .... Abyss is wobbly and almost falls into the tacks but Steve comes in and stops him from falling .... Havoc smashes Steve with the trash can instead!  ACID RAINMAKER TO STEVE!  He's not don't and he picks Steve up and Piledrives him onto the trash can!!!!  Abyss is back up and grabs Havoc from behind and hits the Shock Treatment backbreaker!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Abyss drags Havoc over to the tacks, but Havoc low blows Abyss using a kendo stick!  Havoc hammers Abyss with multiple shots from the kendo stick!  Acid Rainmaker wind up, but Abyss counters .... BLACK HOLE SLAM ONTO THE THUMBTACKS!!!!  1 ... 2 ... 3!!!!


3 way dance (Eddie Edwards' Proving Ground title shot on the line):

Adrian Neville (UK)

Balls to the wall action in this one .... starts out with Edwards and Sabre Jr taking turns beating the hell out of Neville, then end up getting into it with each other .... the action is very stiff between all 3 of these guys .... ZSJ has a cross-arm breaker on Edwards but, before Eddie can tap, Neville comes off the top with the Red Arrow to break it up .... Neville lands on ZSJ but also on Edwards injured arm .... Neville goes right into the rings of Saturn on Edwards and gets the tapout to win the proving ground title shot!


Singles match for the UWF Television title
(Champion) AJ Styles (USA)
- vs -
Aelister Black (HOLLAND)

There is a lot of chain wrestling to start, and the fans are marking out early in this one .... they trade reversals with neither man getting the advantage and we end up in a stalemate .... standing ovation from the fans .... another lockup and reversal and AJ manages to connect with the phenomenal dropkick .... AJ takes control, hitting a sliding forearm followed by a knee drop for 2 .... Black tries to come back but AJ catches him in the kip up headscissors .... AJ tries a slingshot move but Black is out of the way and AJ lands on the apron .... Black with a big roundhouse that kicks AJ's legs out from under him and he crashes on the ring apron!  Back in the ring Black hammers AJ with shoot kicks while he's on his knees, then nails a running dropkick .... AJ fires back with a corner clothesline followed by the Ushigoroshi for a 2 count .... AJ goes for the phenomenal forearm but Black connects with a kick that knocks him out of the air!  Black locks on the Anti-cross!  AJ battles his way out of it without tapping and they spill out of the ring .... Black takes AJ down and then hits a vicious double stomp right to the knee!  Black gets back to the ring and AJ barely beats the count in at 9 but eats a PK from Black!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  Black charges AJ but AJ catches him in a snap suplex into the turnbuckles!  Now AJ works on the knee with the Muta lock .... Black breaks it and AJ goes for a basement dropkick but Black leaps over him and double stomps AJ!  AJ ducks the Black Mass and hits a pele kick!  He goes to the apron .... PHENOMENAL FOREARM!  1 ... 2 ... Noooo!  AJ unleashes the phenomenal blitz, but Black blocks the spinning back Fist and unleashes a striking combo of his own!  He charges but AJ catches him and rolls him right into the calf killer!!!!  Black bites his own hand to keep from tapping out!!!!  He breaks the hold and AJ goes for the styles clash but Black flips out to land on his feet .... JUMPING KNEE STRIKE RIGHT INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX!!!!  2.99999!!!!  Both men to their feet .... BLACK MASS CONNECTS!  AJ is knocked out of the ring and Black can't cover .... he goes out and gets AJ but AJ is dead weight .... he rolls him in and covers .... 2 count!  Black is frustrated now .... he goes for Black Mass again but AJ ducks .... PELE!  He hooks him .... BLOODY SUNDAY!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  AJ goes for the phenomenal forearm but Black moves and AJ rolls to his feet .... Black goes for the jumping knee strike but AJ catches him in mid-air and power bombs him!  AJ holds on and picks him up again and goes for the styles clash!  Black blocks it, but AJ drops straight down into the Hollow Point!  AJ still holds on and picks Black back up .... STYLES CLASH!  AJ rolls him over and gets the 1 ... 2 ... 3!





Match 6: RPW tag team title match
(Champions) Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) --- UNKNOWN
- vs -
The Project (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) --- USA

Ciampa & Gargano throw everything that they have at the AOP to start, but it doesn't work .... They manage to isolate Akam and double team him, then send the champs outside and hit a series of suicide dives!  PROJECT IS FIRED THE FUCK UP!  AOP don't stay down for long, and Gargano is slammed to the barricade and then tossed back into the ring .... The Authors take over on Gargano .... Gargano plays such babyface in peril, selling everything like death and drawing sympathy .... he gets the hot tag to Ciampa, and he runs wild with some sick looking strikes .... CIAMPA HITS GERMANS TO BOTH OF THE GIANTS!  Running knee by Ciampa for a good near fall on Rezar .... Akam stops all that with a lariat that nearly takes Ciampa's head off!  Ciampa is worked over but Gargano is back in and the Project hit a double spear on Akam for a nearfall!  Gargano with superkicks to both Authors, and he and Ciampa hit the double corner boot!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!!!!  Rezar pulls Gargano to the floor and slams him into the barricade, leaving Ciampa alone against both of the monsters .... They drill Tomasso with the double team powerbomb for the 1 ... 2 ... 2.999999!!!!  Cosmos digs deep for the kick out!!!!  AOP go for the Last Chapter, but Gargano returns and hits a super kick to save Ciampa .... Gargano gets tossed to the apron by Rezar, but Ciampa hits a jumping knee and then Gargano follows with the slingshot DDT .... The Project lock on DOUBLE SUBMISSIONS on the Authors!!!!  Gargano with the 'Gargano-escape' and Ciampa with the bridging fujiwara armbar!!!!  AOP looks like they might BOTH tap out, but then suddenly they flip the switch and Akam powers up and slams Gargano on top of Ciampa to save his partner!  HOLY SHIT!!!!  They all trade strikes from their knees, but the Project explode with stereo jumping knee strikes that take down the champions!  The Project goes for their 'Meet in the Middle' finisher, but the Authors catch both of them coming in and power Bomb them to the mat!  They pick them back up, SUPER COLLIDER!  The Authors then hit the Last Chapter on Ciampa for the 1 ... 2 ... 3!





Singles match
Hideo Itami (JAPAN)
- vs -
James Gibson (USA)

No feeling out process here, as Itami attacks immediately .... he wears Gibson out with kicks and strikes and Gibson bails out of the ring .... Itami goes after him but Gibson grabs his leg and slams it into the ring apron .... Gibson on the offensive but Itami cuts him off with the kitchen sink knee, but hurts himself in the process .... Gibson retakes control, scooping up Itami and hitting a double knee gutbuster for a near fall .... Gibson chokes Itami with his boot in the corner, breaking at the count of four .... Gibson attacks the knee, going for the Trailer Hitch but Itami counters with a small package for a 2 count ....  Hideo fires up with a series of kicks before sweeping the leg .... He hits a running knee in the corner before flying off the top with a clothesline .... The crowd wants the GTS but things go outside .... Gibson goes for the Gibson Driver on the floor but Itami elevates out of it .... He tosses Gibson in and goes to the top but Gibson stops him .... Gibson goes for a super-plex but Itami kicks him off and then hits a tornado ddt over the top rope, dropping Gibson throat-first on the top rope!  Itami waits, BUSAIKU FLYING KNEE STRIKE!  1 ... 2 ... Itami pulls Gibson up at 2!  Scoops him up .... GO TO SLEEP!!!!  Itami covers for the 1 ... 2 ... 3!


Last Woman Standing Match for the Knockout women's title
(champion) Becky Lynch (IRELAND)
- vs -
Rosemary (UNKNOWN)

Becky attacks and beats down Rosemary as we start .... Rosemary doesn't fight back and just let's her beat on her!  And she's smiling about it!  Becky tosses her and goes for a baseball slide, but Rosemary catches her in the ring skirt and ties her up .... Rosemary lays into her with stiff forearms .... anything goes in this one and Rosemary starts pulling chairs out from under the ring ....  she sets Becky up for a suplex but Lynch fights her off .... Rosemary gets sent into the ring steps .... Becky goes under the ring and pulls out a trash can and puts it over Rosemary's head and hits a dropkick off the top rope!  Becky adds more chairs to the pile outside the ring and tries to super-plex Rosemary onto the chairs!  Rosemary fights her off and tosses Becky into the pile of chairs off the top rope!!!!  Holy Shit!!!!  The ref starts the count, but Becky is up at 9 .... Rosemary grabs the Knockout title and charges at Lynch, but runs right into a 'Becksploder' suplex right onto the pile of chairs!!!!  The ref starts the count, but Lynch picks Rosemary up before the count!  She tosses her back in the ring .... STRAIGHT FIRE!!!!  Becky with a series of leg drops but Rosemary is up at 7 .... Becky locks on the 'Disarm-her' but Rosemary tapping out doesn't matter .... RED MIST!!!!  Becky is blinded and as the ref tries to pour water in her eyes Rosemary stacks more chairs outside the ring .... She shoves the ref away and tries to suplex Becky from the ring to the outside onto the chairs but Becky fights her off .... she hits a sunset flip to the outside and power bombs Rosemary onto the floor!!!!  The ref starts the count .... ROSEMARY UP AT 9!!!!  They brawl outside and make their way up onto the stage near the announce table area .... Rosemary gets the advantage and produces a ladder from the production area!  Becky fights her off and then KO's Rosemary with the ladder!  She lays Rosemary on the announce table and starts to climb, but Rosemary stirs and starts to climb with her .... GREEN MIST TO BECKY!!!!  Rosemary grabs Becky .... SUPER-PLEX OFF THE LADDER THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!!  Both ladies are down and the ref starts the count .... he reaches 7 and no one is moving, but somehow Rosemary is able to barely get to her feet as the ref reaches 10!  We have a new champion!




Main Event: triple threat for the UWF Junior Heavyweight title
(Champion) Finn Balor (IRELAND)
- vs -
'The Villain' Marty Scurll (UK)
- vs -
TJ Perkins (USA)

All three men in and trading shots early, and everyone teases their finishers right out of the gate .... Balor gets dumped out and Scurll and TJP go at it for a bit .... Balor gets up outside only to be taken out by a dive from Scurll .... TJP then does the Tiger feint kick and hits suicide dives on both the Villain and the Demon! All three in and going again, but Scurll gets the arm-wringer on Balor slamming his shoulder hard on the mat .... TJP gets an octopus on Scurll, who gets out and then hits the 'just kidding' superkick to the knee .... Scurll goes for the chicken wing on Balor, but he rolls backward and breaks free and follows with a standing double stomp!  

Perkins back in and hammers Balor with strikes, but Balor comes back with the Slingblade .... this hurts his shoulder though .... Balor to the top, but Scurll stops him and suplexes him hard on the ring apron .... Perkins with a suicide dive into a tornado ddt on Scurll on the floor!  Back in the ring, TJP hits 'Death from Above' (chicken wing double knee gutbuster)!  1 ... 2 ... Scurll kicks out!  Scurll fights back with the 'just kidding' superkick and then hits a Death Valley Driver on TJP into the buckles!  Graduation by Scurll!  1 ... 2 ... NOOOO!  Scurll calls for the chickenwing, but Balor flies in and hits a Slingblade on Scurll!  1619!!!!  1 ... 2 ... TJP breaks it up!  TJP goes for the detonation kick, but Balor catches his leg and then catapults him into the corner .... SHOTGUN DROPKICK!  Balor goes up top for the double stomp, but TJP catches him on the way down and locks on the TJP clutch!!!!  The champ is in danger of tapping but Scurll break it up!  Scurll sends TJP to the floor, but Balor reverses a whip and Scurll elevates him to the apron .... Balor hits the PK on Perkins from the apron on Perkins!  Back in the ring, Scurll hits the 'just kidding' superkick to the injured knee of Balor, but he fires back with the pele!!!!  All 3 men down!

Scurll gets desperate here and goes after the umbrellas outside the ring that the cosplayers brought to ringside .... TJP stops him and grabs the umbrella, but misses Scurll and lays out Balor instead!  Scurll grabs TJP's fingers and does his finger break spot!  Scurll goes for the chickenwing but TJP blocks it so instead Scurll goes for the arm trap elbow strikes!  Cradle tombstone piledriver by Scurll!  1 ... 2 ... Nooooo!  TJP kicks out!!!!  TJP to his knees and flips Scurll off .... FINGER BREAK AGAIN FROM SCURLL!  He has the umbrella .... UMBRELLA SHOT!  Scurll hooks TJP in the chickenwing!!!!  TJP fights it, but Scurll takes him down with the body scissors!  TJP is ready to tap .... COUP DE GRACE OFF THE TOP TO BOTH MEN BY BALOR BREAKS IT UP!!!!  Scurll is on the bottom and is crushed under all the weight, and Balor covers TJP and gets the 1 ... 2 ... 3!!!!  Balor retains the UWF junior title!




Show ends with Balor celebrating as a furious Marty Scurll looks on .... fireworks and all that Jazz send the fans home happy ....
