Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 18: Settling the Score 9636A8A6-174F-4A24-9BB9-67B239BD2803_zpsl9helqag

INTRODUCTION ----

This show broadcasts more like a DVD like the old ROH shows release rather than a live show like Raw or Smackdown .... the backstage segments are pre-taped and most of the action takes place in the ring ....

center]--- OPENING SEGMENT ---[/center]

Finlay comes out and really promotes the RPW Great American Bash in Tampa, Florida .... He is interrupted by the Fighting Spirit Champion, 'The Villain' Marty Scurll .... Scurll cuts a promo and wants to know if he has Finn Balors attention now .... Finlay wouldn't do his job and get him a Junior title match, so he took matters into his own hands .... He wants to face Finn Balor for the Junior title at the Bash ....

Scurll is interrupted by the surprise appearance of TJ Perkins!  Perkins calls out Scurll for costing him the match against Balor at the Wrestle Kingdom Bash .... Scurll says TJP is a nobody and he doesn't matter .... Scurll wants Balor and he doesn't care who he steps on along the way .... Finlay books Scurll vs TJP in a non-title match tonight ....

*We get the disclaimer about how RPW has a 'Code of Honor' similar to RING OF HONOR where opponents show respect with a handshake to begin the match .... sportsmanship is encouraged in all matches .... outside the ring has 20 count to get back in the ring instead of the standard 10 seconds*

Tag Team Match
'Iconic' Billie Kay & Peyton Royce (AUSTRALIA)
- vs -
Paige & Winter (UK)

This is a wild brawl from the start .... Paige and Winter are unlikely allies, but work well together here .... There is a point where it looks like Paige is going to walk out on Winter, but the fans will her to return and make the hot tag .... Paige cleans house and all 4 ladies are going at it .... Paige goes for the Ramp-Paige on Royce but Kay comes with a big boot that takes out Paige .... Royce then makes the cover to steal the win while Kay keeps Winter held off ....

Tag Team Match
British Strong Style (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) -- UK
- vs -
#CCK (Chris Brookes & Kid Lykos) -- UK

Fans can already see that British Strong Style is the future of RPW .... they look good here against good competition, getting the win after Seven pins Brookes after Bate and Seven hit the '7th Heaven' (package piledriver/ yakuza combo) ....

After the match, Premier Athlete Brand comes out at the top of the ramp .... Tyson Kidd says it's time to have a fact check, and says PAB are the future of this business .... FACT .... and they will beat British Strong Style at the Bash .... FACT ....

PRE-TAPED SEGMENT ---- Crazzie Steve confronts Jimmy Havoc because of what he did to Rosemary (accidentally) during his cage match with Tye Dillinger at Chapter 18 .... Steve is alone and there's no Rosemary or Abyss with him .... Havoc is unapologetic for what happened and says Rosemary is to blame for him losing to Tye Dillinger .... Crazzie Steve wants to fight Havoc for hurting 'his' Rosemary .... Havoc says Rosemary was his before she was Steve's and walks off ....

Singles Match
Hideo Itami (JAPAN)
- vs -
Mark Andrews (UK)

Andrews puts up a good fight, but Itami is ready for his match with James Gibson at the Bash .... Itami finishes Andrews here with the Busaiku flying knee ....

Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 18: Settling the Score F9E7E541-1B22-4941-82CE-06981D2F95F8_zpsxburzenc

Becky Lynch returns to a big pop .... She says what she did to Rosemary at Shimmer Vol. 2 is just a taste of what's to come .... she's medically cleared now, and she wants Rosemary at the Bash in Tampa .... She hasn't been able to stand for 10 weeks, so she's going to make sure Rosemary can't stand anymore .... she challenges her to a 'Last Woman Standing' match at the Bash ....

Non-title Match
(Fighting Spirit Champion) 'The Villain' Marty Scurll (UK)
- vs -
TJ Perkins (USA)

This match is moving right along and both men are putting on an excellent show .... Marty tries to go to his villainous tactics but he is stopped by UWF Junior champion Finn Balor!!!!  Balor attacks Scurll, resulting in a DQ win for 'The Villain', much to the dismay of TJ Perkins ....

Balor takes the mic and says he accepts Scurlls challenge for the RPW Bash show .... TJP jerks the mic out of Balors hand and says he has unfinished business with him because Scurll cost him the match at the WK Bash show, then Balor cost him the match tonight .... Balor says he will fight both of them and lets make the match a triple threat!  Scurll doesn't like the idea, but TJP does .... he offers Balor a handshake and Balor takes it .... THEN TJP LAYS HIM OUT WITH THE DETONATION KICK!!!!  TJP stands tall after this ....

Womens Match
TONI STORM (NEW ZEALAND)
- vs -
Alexa Bliss (USA)

Toni Storm pinned Alexa Bliss to win a fatal 4 way match at Shimmer Vol. 2 and this is a rematch from that .... Storm is becoming one of the most over women in RPW as well as Shimmer .... This one goes back and forth the whole way .... In the end, the surprise arrival of Allysin Kay provides the distraction that Bliss needs to send Storm shoulder-first into the ring post, followed by the hammerlock DDT and Bliss gets the win ....

After the match, Kay lays Storm out for Bliss to hit the Twisted Bliss splash .... Alexa and Kay leave together ....

Singles Match
Crazzie Steve w/ Abyss (UNKNOWN)
- vs -
Jimmy Havoc (UK)

Still no Rosemary here, and Abyss is nowhere to be found either .... this issue is strictly between Crazzie Steve and Jimmy Havoc .... This is vicious as both guys brawl out into the crowd to begin .... Havoc suplexes Steve on the bleacher steps!  Steve fights back, hitting the pumphandle neckbreaker but Havoc kicks out!  Havoc tries to finish Steve off with the acid rainmaker but Abyss finally appears in the ring!  While Havoc and Abyss get nose to nose, Steve grabs a chair and blasts Havoc across the back with it!  Abyss follows with the Black Hole Slam on Havoc onto the chair!  Steve covers and gets the 3 count ....

Decay leave the ring, but Havoc is shown smiling .... he takes the mic and wants to fight Abyss at the Great American Bash, in MONSTERS BALL!!!!  Abyss comes back to the ring and choke slams the injured Havoc, then accepts his challenge ....

PRE-TAPED SEGMENT ----

Aelister Black cuts a promo about facing AJ Styles for the UWF Television title .... He says it is time for AJ to 'fade to black' ....

Singles Match
Adrian Neville (UK)
- vs -
Zack Sabre Jr (UK)

Lots of bad blood in this one after Neville cost Sabre Jr the Fighting Spirit title at Chapter 17 .... ZSJ works leg kicks and uppercuts to start, then the action spills outside and ZSJ locks on an octopus on the barricade .... ZSJ goes for the PK but Neville avoids it .... ZSJ transitions into a hanging kimura in the ropes .... Neville catches ZSJ with a spin kick and then POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO THE APRON!  Neville doesn't let him breathe, hitting a dive over the top that takes him out .... ZSJ fights back and hits a tornado DDT, then follows with uppercuts .... he goes for the PK but Neville catches it!  Neville spins him into a snap German suplex!  Neville up top and hits the Red Arrow!  Sabre kicks out at 2!!!!  Neville tries to lock on the rings of Saturn but ZSJ fights out with straight headbutts .... ZSJ connects with the pele to the arm then locks on he Jim Breaks armbar .... Neville powers him up into a buckle bomb and then a kicking combo!  Neville back up top, but ZSJ meets him and they fight .... Neville headbutts him to the mat and tries the Red Arrow again but ZSJ catches him on the way down .... TRIANGLE CHOKE!  ZSJ lays in elbows to the top of the head!  Neville escapes but ZSJ hits the PK!!!!  Neville fires up at 1!!!!  Another PK by Sabre Jr!  Neville won't stay down and eats a 3rd PK!  Finally the 4th brutal PK finishes Neville off and Sabre Jr gets his revenge in this brutal encounter ....

ZSJ celebrates, and the announcers make one final push for the RPW Great American Bash show on the 18th ....
