Revolution Pro Wrestling Chapter 15: The Book of Truth

We go live to a shot of the crowd at Bethnal Green as RPW is live in Greater London at York Hall .... ARE YOU READY FOR A REVOLUTION!!!!



 

Truth Martini leads the new RPW tag team champions The Authors of Pain to the ring to begin the show .... Truth says he has the 'Book of Truth' but his team, the Authors of Pain, have written the book on Pain .... and at Chapter 14 they wrote the last chapter by defeating the best teams RPW had to offer .... Tonight they will make their first title defense against the team they beat in the finals, the American Wolves .... Tonight they will write the Wolves' final chapter in RPW ....

This brings out Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards .... Eddie says there is no reason to wait and the Wolves hit the ring!  All four men brawl, which ends with the Wolves clearing the ring and then hitting stereo suicide dives that take out Akam & Rezar!!!!  The Wolves are back in the ring and the Authors try to go after them but Martini holds them off and says they will take care of them later in the show ....




*We get the disclaimer about how RPW has a 'Code of Honor' similar to RING OF HONOR where opponents show respect with a handshake to begin the match .... sportsmanship is encouraged in all matches .... outside the ring has 20 count to get back in the ring instead of the standard 10 seconds*


Tag Team Match:
The Project (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) -- USA

Premier Athlete Brand (Cedric Alexander & Tony Nese) w/ Laurel Van Ness & Santana -- USA

Energetic back and forth match .... The Project rebounds from their loss in the RPW tag team tournament here, getting the win after hitting their 'meet in the middle' finisher on Tony Nese ....




We get a pre-taped promo from the 'Fighting Spirit' champion, 'The Villain' Marty Scurll .... Scurll talks about his long-awaited match with No. 1 contender Zack Sabre Jr coming up at Chapter 16 .... Scurll says they have called him and ZSJ the 'Leaders of the New School' and that they are friends outside of wrestling .... but this is strictly business .... he is out to show the whole world that he is superior to Zack Sabre Jr in every way, especially in the ring .... there is only one leader of the British revolution, and it's the villain .... long live the villain! ....


Singles Match:
'The Perfect 10' Tye Dillinger (USA)
- vs -
Tyson Kidd (CANADA)

Kidd is very impressive in his first match in RPW .... Dillinger is very over with the crowd, as evident by their constant chants of '10!  10!  10!  10! ....' Dillinger wins a spirited contest by catching Kidd in the Tye Breaker out of nowhere for the pin ....

Dillinger takes the mic afterward and says he doesn't want Tyson Kidd, he wants Jimmy Havoc .... He is going to be the Fighting Spirit champion but he can't go forward until he puts Jimmy Havoc behind him ....

On queue, out comes Jimmy Havoc alone .... Havoc calls Dillinger a glutton for punishment and says gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins .... if Dillinger is ready to pay for his sins then he will do so at the hands of Jimmy Havoc .... but it isn't just going to be any match, it's going to be inside a steel cage!


Womens Match:
Rosemary (UNKNOWN)
- vs -
'The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard' Nixon Newell (WALES)

Newell puts up a little bit of a fight, but Rosemary is too vicious .... she wins a short match with the 'Red Wedding' (F-5) ...

Rosemary isn't done after the match is over and she wants to set an example .... she continues a post-match beatdown of Newell until Sasha Banks runs out and makes the save!  Banks removes all her jewelry, which ends up back-firing on her as Rosemary gets her hand on one of her 'BOSS' rings and punches Banks right in the face with it .... Banks is KO'd and Rosemary leaves her laying ....


Singles Match:
Adrian Neville (UK)
- vs -
'Gentleman' Jack Gallagher (UK)

Neville acts more like a face than last chapter, seemingly back on the right track after his tainted victory over Matt Riddle .... he even honors the code and shakes hands before the match .... the match itself is back and forth, with Neville using aerial moves while Gallagher tries to ground it out on the mat .... Neville survives the vicious headbutt by Gallagher and then moves out of the way of the charging dropkick .... Neville hits a brainbuster followed by the Red Arrow for the win ....

After the match, Matt Riddle leaves the announce booth and takes the house mic to confront Neville .... he challenges him to a rematch at Chapter 16 and Neville accepts .... Neville tries to babyface it up and offers a handshake and says 'may the best man win' .... The crowd boos Neville mercilessly .... Riddle shakes Nevilles hand, then pulls him onto his shoulders and lays him out with the 'Bro 2 Sleep'! .... Riddle stands tall and the fans love it ....






James Gibson comes out and talks about Hideo Itami attacking him at Chapter 13 .... Gibsons character is very over the top redneck and it's easy for the crowd to hate him, especially when he says this redneck from West Virginia can wrestle better than anyone in the U.K. .... Itami comes out and accepts the challenge ....

Singles Match:
James Gibson (USA)
- vs -
Hideo Itami (JAPAN)

The challenge is a setup, as Gibson attacks Itami before the bell and smashes his knee with a chair .... the ref finally gets them separated and starts the match, but Itami is in bad shape .... Gibson continues to attack the knee, and finally locks on the trailer hitch .... Itami is injured and has to tap out ....


Womens Tag Team Match:
'Iconic' (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) -- (AUSTRALIA)
- vs -
The Blossom Twins (Haley & Hannah) -- (UK)

'Iconic' is one of the favorites to become the next Shimmer tag team champions and have had problems recently with both Paige and Winter .... Iconic takes care of the Blossom Twins here, as Billie Kay pins Hannah after a very stiff-looking big boot ....


RPW tag team title Match:
(Champions) The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) w/ Truth Martini -- UNKNOWN
- vs -
American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) -- USA

The Authors attack at the bell, before being sent to the floor .... stereo dives by the Wolves and they take the fight to the champs .... They brawl on the floor, but this results in Akam hitting a urinage on Edwards onto the ring frame .... Solid heat from the Authors on Edwards, and the crowd cheers Eddie on to make his comeback .... Richards gets the hot tag and cleans house with an onslaught of strikes .... Eddie is back up and they hit the alarm clock on big Rezar!  Superkick/ creeping death combo to Rezar but Akam is back in the ring to break it up just in time!!!!  Akam & Rezar go for the super collider, but the Wolves reverse it with dual headscissor takeovers .... Eddie trips up Akam and locks on the Achilles lock while Richards holds off Rezar!  Eddie starts stomping on Akams head while he's got him trapped but Akam holds on and won't tap!  Rezar finally powers past Richards and shoves him into Edwards to break up the move .... Eddie goes for the Boston knee party, but Rezar catches him in mid-air and buckle bombs him into Richards!  The Authors hit the super collider on the Wolves and then hit Eddie Edwards with their Last Chapter finisher for the pin to retain the titles ....

Truth Martini celebrates with the RPW tag team champions as we fade to black ....
