INTRODUCTION

Show starts out with Fighting Spirit champion Marty Scurll coming out to the ring .... Scurll cuts a promo and says he doesn't care who wins .... he talks about each person and how they are motivated to be the champion for different reasons .... but his motivation is simply to continue to be the best .... the difference between he and then is that he is willing to go further than any one of them to make sure he is the best .... he takes off his glasses and tells them all to look in his eyes  .... these are the same eyes you will be looking into when you beg for mercy, but villains have none .... long live the era of wickedness ....

Marty Scurll joins Renee Young for guest commentary for this chapter of RPW ....

*RPW has a 'Code of Honor' similar to RING OF HONOR where opponents show respect with a handshake to begin the match .... sportsmanship is encouraged in all matches .... outside the ring has 20 count to get back in the ring instead of the standard 10 seconds*

We get the in-ring action started with the announcement of the 'Heart of Shimmer' tournament .... this is a joint venture of both the RPW and Wrestle Kingdom women's rosters (both owned by Disney) and takes the place of the women's top prospect tournament .... the winner is guaranteed a Shimmer roster spot and a shot at the Knockout title at the first Shimmer show ....

Heart of Shimmer tournament round 1 match:
'The Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein (USA)
- vs -
Raquel (BRAZIL)

Klein is a veteran of the women's independent scene in the Midwest, and she employs a physical, no-nonsense style .... Raquel is a Brazilian fitness model that is new to the game, but she seems like a natural .... Klein wins the match by making Raquel tap out to the front guillotine choke ....

Heart of Shimmer tournament round 1 match:
'The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard' Nixon Newell (WALES)
- vs -
Daria Berenato (USA)

Daria Berenato is a former American judoka and former mixed martial artist known as the 'Jersey Devil' .... Nixon Newell is a Welsh professional wrestler that is well known on the British independent scene .... she calls herself the girl with the 'shiniest' wizard, and she is pretty over here with the fans in London .... Newell picks up the win with, you guessed it, a shining wizard ....

Renee announces that the final 2 matches in the first round of The Heart of Shimmer tournament will be held on the next episode of Wrestle Kingdom ....

Next up, we get Cedric Alexander coming to the ring .... We see highlights from Chapter 9, where Alexander turned on his partner Caprice Coleman .... Alexander is displaying his new cocky heel persona .... he says that he tried to do everything right so people would cheer him, but he was tired of carrying all the dead weight around .... he is the best pure athlete in RPW, and maybe in the entire UWF .... someone has been trying to tell him that for a long time and he finally started listening ....

singles match:
Cedric Alexander (USA)
- vs -
Caprice Coleman (USA)

Competitive match .... Coleman gains the momentum late, and he goes up top to finish Alexander off with a leg drop .... Tony Nese comes out of the back, which distracts Coleman and allows Alexander to hit an enziguri that knocks him off the top to the floor .... Nese grabs Coleman and tosses him back in, and Alexander drills him with the Lumbar Check and gets the pin ....

After the match, Laurel Van Ness also comes out and joins Nese and Alexander in the ring .... Nese joins Alexander in putting the boots to Coleman and they toss him out of the ring .... Van Ness cuts a promo and says they are establishing the 'Premier Athlete Brand' all across the U.K. and all across the world because they are the best pure athletes in wrestling .... They are the blue chippers of RPW so it's time for Finlay to 'do business' where they are concerned ....

PROMO - Adrian Neville cuts a promo in the back .... Molly McGrath asks Neville about his heelish behavior in beating Tye Dillinger to qualify for 'High Stakes' .... Neville says he did whatever he had to do to get in this match, because he is tired of being everyone's hero while guys like Marty Scurll own the world .... Tonight, the stakes are high for him, and again he is going to do whatever it takes to win and eventually become the fighting spirit champion ....

Singles Match:
'The Bruiserweight' Pete Dunne (UK)
- vs -
Wolfgang (SCOTLAND)

Wolfgang is much bigger than Dunne, so Dunne responds by slapping the bigger man across the face!  Lots of brawling in the match, but it's Dunne that comes out on top, pinning Wolfgang after his finisher 'The Bitter End' (pumphandle facebuster) ....

PROMO ----

Jimmy Havoc is in a dark room .... you can see Rosemary and Decay moving around in the shadows behind him .... Havoc says Tye Dillinger made the biggest mistake of his life at Chapter 9 when he cost him a chance to qualify for High Stakes .... tonight the stakes couldn't be higher for Dillinger because it's not just about his career, it's about his LIFE .... Havoc is going to make him SUFFER, then he's going to watch him DECAY!

IN-RING SEGMENT

'The Boss' Sasha Banks comes out to a big pop .... Banks gets right down to business and says she is owed her one on one rematch for the Knockout title because she was never pinned or submitted in that match .... she wants Becky Lynch tonight!  Becky comes out to the ring and Banks says they are friends, but Becky didn't beat her, she beat Allysin Kay .... and until she beats her she can't stand here and rightfully call herself the champion .... Becky agrees, saying that she and Sasha always bring out the best in each other ....

Allysin Kay comes out .... she says that the match was a glorified handicap match and it took the other 3 women in that match to beat her .... if it was 1 on 1, she would be the champion .... Kay attacks BOTH Becky and Sasha!  Becky gets tossed out of the ring and a ref comes out and apparently we have an impromptu match!

Womens Match:
Sasha Banks (USA)
- vs -
Allysin Kay (USA)

Kay dominates early, but Banks quickly turns the tide .... Banks hits a meteora for a 2 and then hits the double knees in the corner .... Kay rakes the eyes and then nails Sasha with the 'silencer' (pounce!) .... Kay goes to finish her with the AK-47, but Banks slips out and hits the backstabber!  She floats over into the Banks Statement!  Kay raises her hand to tap out, but Becky Lynch slides back in the ring and grabs her arm and locks on the Disarm-her at the same time as Banks has the Bank Statement locked on!!!!

The ref calls for the bell and throws the match out .... simultaneously, both Banks and Lynch let go of their holds on Kay and get to their feet and are nose to nose in the middle of the ring!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

To start the next segment, the 'Last King of Scotland' Drew McIntyre has come out to the ring .... he claims that there is a conspiracy with the officials in RPW against him .... he says a referees decision has cheated him out of matches twice now .... he complains because he should be in the High Stakes match tonight .... he had Tommy End beaten just like he had Jay Lethal beat in the Battle of Britain ....

This brings out Jay Lethal .... Lethal says that show after show McIntyre is out here and he keeps mentioning Lethals name .... well, he just got clearance from the doctors so if McIntyre wants to scratch that itch they can do it right here tonight .... McIntyre says that Lethal better be sure he's healed because this time hes not going to leave it up to the decision of a referee ....

Singles Match:
Jay Lethal (USA)
- vs -
'Last King of Scotland' Drew McIntyre (SCOTLAND)

There is a ref bump in this one, allowing McIntyre to hit a low blow on Lethal followed by the future shock .... McIntyre has the pin but there is no ref .... another ref runs out, but Lethal kicks out at 2!!!!  McIntyre gets so mad he hits the new ref!  McIntyre pulls the original ref back in and then goes for another future shock but Lethal reverses into the lethal combination out of nowhere!  He locks on the Coji Clutch!!!!  McIntyre is trapped in the center of the ring and he has to tap out!!!!

Singles Match:
Jimmy Havoc w/ Rosemary (UK)
- vs -
'The Perfect 10' Tye Dillinger (USA)

Dillinger continues to be one of the most 'over' guys in RPW .... this match stems from Havoc and Decay attacking Dillinger at Chapter 9, then Dillinger returning the favor by costing Havoc his match against Zack Sabre Jr that same night .... Decay tries to get involved in this one, but Dillinger fights them off .... he takes out Steve with the Tye Breaker, then super kicks Abyss off the apron .... this distraction allows Havoc to hit a lariat on Dillinger, followed by the Go Home Driver for the 3 count ....

VIDEO PACKAGE ----

We get a small highlight package profiling each participant in 'High Stakes 2017' ....

ZACK SABRE JR - widely regarded as the best technical wrestler on the planet .... expert in striking and submissions

TOMMY END - made his debut for RPW by qualifying for this match .... End had an extensive background in martial arts and Pencak Silat and he incorporates those disciplines into his wrestling style .... called the 'Anti-Hero', End is already well known in the British independent scene ....

HIDEO ITAMI - with his feud with Bram and Paul Burchill behind him, Itami looks to break through to the next level .... a former amateur kickboxer and mixed martial artist, Itami may be the best striker in RPW

ADRIAN NEVILLE - once one of the most popular stars in RPW, then fans seem to have soured on Adrian Neville .... still, Neville is the 'man that gravity forgot' and one of the greatest high flyers in wrestling .... does he have to win tonight?  Most think it's do or die for him in his chase for the Fighting Spirit title ....

Main Event: 'High Stakes 2017'
Adrian Neville (UK)
- vs -
Zack Sabre Jr (UK)
- vs -
Tommy End (NETHERLANDS)
- vs -
Hideo Itami (JAPAN)

Tommy End shines in this match, using his unique striking ability to take control .... at one point End and Itami are toe to toe in the middle of the ring and the 2 best strikers in wrestling beat the hell out of each other until Sabre Jr takes them both out .... Neville wipes out everyone with some high flying dives .... Itami hits Sabre Jr with the GTS, but End breaks up the pin .... they brawl outside, which ends with Tommy End putting Itami through a ringside table with a double stomp off the top rope .... in the ring, Neville goes for the Red Arrow on Zack Sabre Jr but ZSJ catches him on the way down in a cross-arm breaker!  Neville tries to get out, but ends up rolling Sabre Jr up in a pin!  2.999999!!  Sabre Jr transitions into the triangle choke!  RAINS DOWN ELBOWS ON TOP OF NEVILLES HEAD!!!!  The ref calls it!!!!

Zack Sabre Jr has won 'High Stakes' and will get a shot at the Fighting Spirit title .... Meanwhile, Neville cannot challenge for the title as long as Marty Scurll is the champion!  The show ends with Sabre Jr celebrating and high-fiving the fans around ringside ....
