Matthews: Welcome wrestling fans, to another episode of NextGen on XWA.TV. I am your host, Josh Matthews. He is The Cat, Ernest Miller. And tonight we continue the tournament to crown our first ever Women's Champion.
Cat: Yeahhhh Man! I can dig it! We finish the 1st round tonight with 2 matches but we have some big news concerning our Main Event.
Matthews: That we do. Anthony Bowens was scheduled to defend the NextGen Title tonight. But after what happened on XWA last week. Robbie Eagles was injured at the hands of Bad Luck Fale and will not be able to make that challenge tonight. We were told by NextGen President Jack Tunney that Bowens would indeed defend that title tonight. But against who we don't know and there's a reason we don't know. Jack Tunney also announced there were going to be some roster changes. The Premier Athlete Brand are no longer here neither is ACH who was graduated to the main roster. We have been told there have been new young talent signed to compete here. So we have no idea who Tunney is choosing. But that's later. (Ariel has an advantage in power & experience. But Vipress is just mean. She stands on Monroes hair then pulls her upwards by her arms. Seemingly trying to pull out the braids by the roots. Vipress is choking Big Swole on the ropes then snaps her back to the ring. She goes for a Senton and misses. Now Monroe hits some big power moves. She goes for a clothesline but Vipress ducks and goes into a Back slide but Monroe rolls through, lands a hard knee then hits Dirty Dancing. 1.. 2.. 3.)

(Star Fire starts fast and that Lucha style has the more ground based Blake at a loss. She does a Spinning Flying Headscissors that sends Brittany to the floor to regroup. Star fire goes for a Plancha but Blake catches her and tosses her back first onto the corner of the apron. From there Briittany works the back. She goes for a Powerbomb but Star Fire Counters into a faceplant. She goes for a Senton from up top but misses. Brittany locks in Bad Omen. Star Fire fights as long as she can but finally taps.)

Matthews: We now have our 4 semi-Finalists. Cat what do you think?
Cat: Well the first thing is how can these women look so good and be so damn tough? Those were some hard-hitting matches there. I got to say right now my pick is Ariel Monroe. I mean, MAN! Big Swole is JACKED!
Matthews: We still have our Main Event but first we go to our Spotlight of the week. (Spotlight is on TK Cooper, 6'2", 196 Lbs, from London, England. A member of South Pacific Power Trip. TK was born in New Zealand but came to the UK to further his training to become a wrestler. Cooper wrestles a break neck, devil may care style. Lots of high risk maneuvers. He is willing to put his own body on the line just to dish out pain to others. Cocky but with the inherent skills to usually back it up. His Finishers are a Belly to Back Piledriver & The Loverdose Corkscrew Splash that he sometimes hits out on the floor.)
(NextGen Champion Anthony Bowens walks to the ring with his title belt. Out walks Jack Tunney to the stage.)
Tunney: Due to the injury to Robbie Eagles we will have a substitute Challenger. Mr Eagles will receive a future title match when he feels ready. But this unfortunate circumstance came at an opportune moment to rectify a situation with lineage of this Championship. Because Mr Bowens, tonight you will face the man who never lost that title.... (The fans are on their feet in anticipation. The return to NextGen of former Champion, Josh Briggs. Now he's here to try to reclaim that crown, but Bowens wont just lay down and what we get is a fight. Bowens and Briggs are trading heavy rights and both men taking each other's Sunday bests. Then Bowens hits a Dropkick that sends Josh to the Buckle. Anthony charges and nails a Corner Lariat. He pulls him out and suplexes the huge Briggs. Bowens waits then goes for The End Complete but Josh catches him on his shoulders and hits a Fireman's Carry Backbreaker. He covers for two.
They continue the slugfest. Briggs goes for a Chokeslam but Bowens slips free and Scoop Slams Josh which gets a huge reaction. He goes up top. Flying Fist Drop. Some fans are chanting "Jerry!" after that. Anthony goes for a Crossface. Briggs is wide-eyed but he is so large that he is able to get his leg to the bottom rope for the break. Bowens starts rocking Briggs with rights. He goes for a Quebrada Back Elbow but Briggs turns him into an over the knee Backbreaker. He hits a Double Underhook Backbreaker called Back Ache. He goes for the M5 but Anthony breaks the grip and hands a thrusting headbutt. Bowens climbs the ropes but so does Josh. He now gives Bowens a few Headbutts then goozles him and Chokeslams him from the top rope onto the ring apron!
Bowens is down out on the floor and is barely moving. Briggs goes out and gives him a Fallaway Slam on the hard floor. Then sends him back in and covers 1.. 2.. No! Briggs charges the Champion but Bowens gives him a Flapjack onto the top Buckle!. Briggs is dazed as Anthony hits the ropes... The Complete Shot! 1.. 2.. NOOOOOO!!!!! Anthony tries to muster a last bit of energy. He rises and hits the ropes for another Complete Shot. but Josh turns and delivers a Spinebuster. He lifts him up by the neck... M5!!! 1.. 2.. 3!!!!)

Matthews: Josh Briggs has regained the NextGen Championship he never lost!
Cat: Got Dayummnn. That was one hell of a war! SOMEBODY PLEASE CALL MY MOMMA!
Matthews: I think we need to call Anthony Bowens' Momma. That boy may be in some need.
Cat: Yeah well look at Briggs. I mean he won but he is still down on the mat.
