Azumi has been rechristened as AZM by her new partner. Professor Tanaka notes the strides she has made in the last 3 months and says he thinks she is the future of the division. These women have had a ton of issues with Onna-Musha and are looking to put a final win tonight. Back and forth action with lots of tags on both sides. HZK hits a Scoop Slam and Elbow Drop on Sumire. Later Tam catches AZM with a knee lift. She covers for a quick 2 count. The Onna-Musha team begins to take control. But AZM makes a come back she spears Tam. 1.. 2.. No! Broken up by Natsu! AZM crawls to make the tag but then someone comes out and pulls HZK's legs causing he to crash into the apron. The person is now stomping away at her ans we see it's....

Rising Sun Wrestling: GREAT JAPAN BASH (Night 1) 7/11/19 Static

KRIS WOLF!

AZM has no one to tag as Sumire laughs. She goes for a Back Suplex but AZM floats out she shoves her and she and Tam knock heads! She rolls her up in a Reverse Sunset! 1.. 2.. 3!

Winners: HZK & AZM (1-0)

(Sumire, Wolf & Nakano are all stunned and then furious but HZK & AZM celebrate on the outside.)

5TH BATTLE

Rising Sun Wrestling: GREAT JAPAN BASH (Night 1) 7/11/19 Suzuki_towel.....VS.....Rising Sun Wrestling: GREAT JAPAN BASH (Night 1) 7/11/19 Profile_cima

Minoru Suzuki 6-2 vs CIMA 8-5

This is all that has consumed CIMA for months. A rematch against Suzuki. Widely considered one of the most dangerous men in Japan. Last time CIMA gave a great effort but came up short. He went through all of Suzuki-gun to get this chance. He comes out firing. Using an array of strikes, holds and impact maneuvers. Minoru seems taken a bit off guard but is able to hip lock CIMA over the ropes to the floor. Suzuki follows and starts beating on him. He rams him ribs first into the apron then delivers a vertical suplex on the hard floor. Minoru is really opening up now and yelling the whole time in Japanese. "You asked for this!"

Suzuki sends him back in. He drops a knee and covers for 2. He goes right into a Heel Hook. CIMA is feeling it but doesn't quit. He eventually gets to the ropes. Suzuki goes for a dropkick but CIMA evades it. He then executes a Nakayubi (Front chancery transitioned into a DDT). He then goes into a Blood Silk Road (Arm trap inverted Gannosuke Clutch). 1.. 2.. No! Hard Chop by CIMA but its answered by one from Minoru. They begin trading them but Suzuki's hit harder. He whips him hard into the buckle. CIMA drops down and Suzuki hits a Running low-angle dropkick. He pulls CIMA out and locks in his Rear Naked Choke. Then he releases and spins a groggy CIMA around for the Gotch Piledriver. But CIMA had it scouted. He Backdrops Minoru then hits a Superkick. He grabs him...  Crossfire (Double Pumphandle Sitout Powerbomb, sometimes transitioned into a straight jacket triangle choke)! The referee is asking... Minoru is getting glassy eyed. But he reaches out his leg and gets the ropes!

CIMA is exasperated. He grabs Minoru and goes for the Schwein but Minoru counters into a Cross Armbreaker. CIMA is in trouble but is able to clasp his hands together. . He powers up and drops Suzuki on the back of his head. He lifts him again... Egoist Schwein! He goes up... Mad Splash!! 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!!!!! CIMA can't believe this is happening. He rises up and looks for another Crossfire. But Minoru headbutts him in the face. He then gives him the  Gotch Piledriver. He doesn't pin him instead he signals for another.  He pulls him up but CIMA lands a palm strike to the jaw then he goes into the Jorge Clutch (Arm drag transitioned into a modified reverse rolling prawn hold). 1.. 2.. 3!!!!! CIMA has pulled off the incredible upset!

Winner: CIMA (9-5)

INTERMISSION

Mao, The Yellow Barbie steps into the ring for her interview segment.

Rising Sun Wrestling: GREAT JAPAN BASH (Night 1) 7/11/19 O0635096012674717817

Mao: Please welcome returning to RSW, Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis. You guys went out to New Orleans for a while. Now you're back but where is your alliance? Is it the Kingdom or Bullet Club?

Maria: Apparently you weren't watching us in NOW!. We are The Bullet Kingdom.

Bennett: And we have combined forces with Takahashi and are one group. Our mission.... to rule RSW.

Mao: So who is the leader? Takahashi was leading this is it you now?

Bennett: The leader of Bullet Club is "Magnum" Adam Cole of course but here in RSW We have decided that it will be my lovely wife who is the spokesperson for this group. But we are a unit. No one is bigger than an other.

Maria: Exactly, Between us, Takahashi, Chase Owens, Cody Hall & The Bone Soldier. It is Bullet Kingdom who truly has the power here in RSW as we do all over the UWF.

Mao: Does this mean you will be challenging for titles? As I remember it you came up short on your bid against KENTA.

Maria: Watch your mouth. My Husband NEVER comes up short. We want ALL the titles here in RSW. Including Junior, Tag & Women's.

Mao: Wait... Women's? Do you mean yourself or is someone new coming in?

Bennett: Wouldn't you like to know? Haha! Patience grasshopper. All will be revealed in due time.

6TH BATTLE - RSW JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Kamaitachi w/Mio Shirai 9-1 vs Dragon Lee 7-1

Both these men's 1 loss came against the other. Here is the rubber match with the Junior Heavyweight title on the line. These guys know each other well and neither comes out to their usual fast paced start. Lee has the champ down on the mat and is working the shoulder. Kamaitachi comes back with headscissors takeover. He charges but is drop toe holded and he crashes shoulder first into the corner. Lee continues to work that arm. The Champ is able to fire Dragon into the ropes where he is tripped up by Mio allowing Kamaitachi to hit a Single knee Facebreaker. Now the Sadist Colony member takes over.

He hits a German Suplex on Lee.He then tosses him onto the apron and connects on a Sunset flip Powerbomb off the ring apron. He returns to the ring as the referee counts. We see Takahashi looking to stretch out that injured shoulder. Lee returns at 18. Kamaitachi lands some kicks. Then looks for D Driver (Double Overhook Piledriver). But Dragon escapes and counters with a Round-The-World Facebuster. Now the Champ rolls out the ring but is met with a Tope Con Hilo.  Lee sends him back in... Springboard Clothesline. He has him... Desnucadora (Vertical Suplex Powerbomb)! 1.. 2..

NOOOO!!!! Lee stays on him. He goes for the Mother of Dragons but Kamaitachi had it scouted and turns it into a Dynamite Plunger! 1.. 2.. NO! He goes for the Time Bomb but Lee counters that into a Fujiwara Armbar!. Kamaitachi is shouting in pain. The ref is asking him but he says no. Finally he is able to get to the ropes. That arm is hanging now. Lee starts hitting roundhouse kicks to it. Then Kamaitachi catches his leg and hits a jumping Enzuguiri. He calls for the Time Bomb again but as he lifts him his shoulder gives way and Lee turns it into a Codebreaker. He grabs him... Mother of Dragons! 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner & NEW Champion: Dragon Lee (8-1)

The Velveteen Dream w/Prince    vs    Naomichi Marufuji

Prince leads his charge to the ring. Japanese fans are fairly respectful and give a nice hand for the Champion. Prince says to Dream "I was always pretty big in Japan." Marufuji gets a huge response from the Korakuen Hall crowd. These 2 are polar opposites. TVD is a flamboyant flashy spectacle while Marufuji is emotionless and very business like in his approach. You would think this would mean Marufuji would own Dream in a mat battle but Velveteen surprises many by going hold for hold with him down on the mat. A fact that the audience gives a nice ovation to. Tanaka wonders aloud if this can be a blow to the confidence of the challenger.

But Naomichi is a seasoned pro and switches up into a striking offense. Laying in chops and kicks to the IC Champ. He fires him into the corner and follows in with a Dropkick. He looks to Suplexes him out the corner but TVD floats over and hits a Reverse STO twisted into a DDT. Prince is clapping in appreciation. TVD takes over for a bit. Hitting a scoop slam and a running leg drop. He goes up and connects on a Flying Double Axe Handle. He covers for a 2 count. Dream goes for a vertical suplex but Marufuji counters into a Stunner! He grabs him and hits an Australian Suplex. Springboard Moonsault! 1.. 2.. No. He puts him in the Perfect Inside Cradle (Wrist-clutch inside cradle). 1.. 2..

NO! Marufuji goes for Pole Shift (Fisherman driver) but Velveteen blocks it and hits a Spinebuster. He hits the ropes and connects on a Powerline. Prince is telling him to go up for The Purple Rainmaker. He climbs but Marufuji is up. He goes up and gives TVD a One-Handed Bulldog from the top. He goes up now.... Shooting Star Press!!!! MISSES!!! Dream has him... Dream Valley Driver! He goes up again for The Purple Rainmaker. This time he connects! 1.. 2.. 3!

Winner & STILL Champion: The Velveteen Dream

(After the match the crowd gives a standing ovation to both men. Marufuji steps towards Prince and an exhausted Dream and raises his hand before leaving the ring.)

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff    vs    Sadist Colony w/Mio Shirai

EVIL & Sanada are RSW Tag Champions for about a tear but they don't come out with their belts. Tonight they only care about the ones Piper & Orndorff brought with them. Introductions are made neither team show much in the way of emotion. The bell rings and it starts fairly standard feeling out process but then EVIL lands an elbow on a break and the fisticuffs begin in earnest. Orndorff catches Sanada with a big clothesline. He and the Rowdy One deliver a double Vertical Suplex. The Champs control the match for a bit but then Sanada does a Quebrada into a double Revese DDT. He rolls to his corner and tags in EVIL who begins delivering German suplexes galore to both Piper & Orndorff.

EVIL then gives Paul an Exploder. He goes to Piper but he pokes him in the eyes. Bulldog by Piper then he waits and slaps on a Sleeper Hold. EVIL is starting to fade. Sanada runs in to break it up but Orndorff heads him off at the pass. Red Shoes is trying to get them back to their corner and doesn't see Mio slip in and give Roddy a low blow. She slides right back out. EVIL though is still dazed and can't follow up. But he does make it to tag in his partner.  Sanada gives Piper a TKO. He covers for a near fall. He then locks in Skull End. Piper is flailing about but Orndorff runs in and stomps the head of Sanada to break it up. Now EVIL runs in And gives Orndorff This is EVIL (STO). Red Shoes is getting EVIL out the ring as Sanada goes after Paul but Piper kicks him between the legs!. Piper rolls out as Orndorff grabs Sanada and gives him a Piledriver and covers for 3.

Ruby Riott   vs    Io Shirai

The crowd is in unison for their favorite daughter, Io. They are chanting her name at the start of the match. Ruby looks out at the crowd with disdain. They lock up and immediately Ruby takes her down by the hair which makes the crowd even more hostile towards her. She openly smiles at the reaction.  They tie up again and Ruby takes her over in a side headlock. She works that for a while. Io is able to get a headscissors to stop the hold. Ruby pops out and looks to grab her by the head again but but Io slips it and applies a horizontal Hammerlock. Ruby works to a sitting position. She gets to her feet and hip tosses her over but Shirai lands on her feet and dropkicks Ruby who rolls out the ring as the crowd applauds.

The match goes this way for about 12 minutes with each woman taking turns in control. Then Ruby hits a Swinging Neckbreaker. She follows with a Diving double knee drop. She pulls her up for a Brainbuster but Io blocks it and then gives Riott a Gourd Buster. Io Galaxy Meteor (Running Shooting Star Press) to the back of the Champ. She rolls her over and hooks the leg for 2.  Io has her and executes a bridging Tiger Suplex. 1.. 2.. kick out. Io pops up but is met with a Superkick then Ruby goes right into The Love Lock (Body scissors, transitioned into a Fujiwara Armbar). Shirai is shouting in agony. Riott is yelling at the ref to end it but he says Io hasn't tapped. She finally releases the hold and stomps the arm. She pulls her up and goes for a STO but Io is firing elbows to the head. Ruby is dazed and Shirai hits her own STO. She goes up top for the Iosault (Double Stomp Moonsault).

But Ruby rolls towards the corner as Io lands on her feet. she hits Riott with a roundhouse kick that drops her to a seated position. Shirai runs yo the far corner and then charges hitting Shinkanesen Attack (Corner Double Knee Attack). She now lifts Riott and sits her on the Top buckle. She is looking for a Super Frankensteiner. Io is out as Ruby heads up for We Riot (Diving Senton). She flies but Io gets her knees up! Io has her...Io de Janerio! 1.. 2..

NOOOO!!!! Ruby barely kicks out. She crawls to the corner. Io charges again but Ruby catches her and lifts her like a Hott Shot but Io hits her head on the ring post. She is is completely out of it. Ruby moves in... Riot Kick! 1.. 2.. 3!
