| NEXTGENRISING STARS WOMENS TAG TEAM TOURNAMENTNight 3   Matthews: Hello everyone and welcome to round 2 of the NextGen Rising Stars Womens Tag Team Tournament. I'm your host Josh Matthews alongside Ivory. Ivory, we have all gotten a look at these teams once. A lot of the mystery is over how do you handicap this the rest of the way?
Ivory: Well I think experience, not just as a team but also in the business would play a big part. It's why the 3 teams I am looking at are Team Sea Stars, the iiConics & the Owens Twins.
Matthews: Interesting, I am thinking more of the just physical attributes of the Amazons, they're my pick But lets get it started.
TEAM SEA STARS (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo)
***VERSUS***
BETTER THAN YOU (Marti Belle & Jayme Jameson)
(Fans are solidly behind TSS. The sister duo are very animated and fan friendly. High fiveing fans as they head to the ring. BTY are the opposite. They show disdain to the West Virginia crowd. Team Sea Stars offer their hands but the heel team turn their backs. So TSS shake the referee's hand instead. As they turn away Better Than You attack from behind. Jayme rams Exo's head into the buckle. Marti snaps Ashley Vox over by her hair then kicks her in the small of the back.,The referee finally gets Jameson to go to her corner and he calls for the bell.Better Than You take over. Making lots of tags and taking lots of shortcuts. Vox gets in a lick every now and then but BTY never allow her any momentum. Then Ashley counters a Double suplex into a pair Reverse Neckbreakers. She makes the hot tag to Delmi who is cleaning house. She gives Jayme a Spinebuster. Then whips Belle into the corner and gives her a back drop. Fallaway Slam to Jayme. But then she is speared by Marti! She covers but Ashley breaks up the cover!
Everyone is brawling now. Jameson gives Delmi a DDT. She covers for two. Vox gets off a Round the World facebuster on Marti. She is clotheslined through the ropes by Jameson. But Ashley grabs her by the ankles and pulls her out to the floor. In the ring Delmi grabs Belle and locks in Exocution (Bridging double Chickenwing). Marti taps out.)
***WINNERS - TEAM SEA STARS***
Matthews: Team Sea Stars are in the Final Four!
Ivory: It didn't look like it was their night early on but they presevered.
Matthews: This team is just 2 wins away from winning this. Now who will join them?
FALLEN FROM HEAVEN (Zoe Lucas & Erin Angel)
 
***VERSUS***
THE OWENS TWINS (Kasey & Leah)
(Despite FFH being heels they give the pre-match handshake. The match is pretty standard affair early on. Both teams making tags and working a mat based style. Leah does a leap frog then a dropkick to Erin. She is pissed now. They go to tie up and Angel kicks the knee of Leah then connects on a uppercut. In comes Lucas and they hit a double clothesline. They get Leah in their corner and continue to double team her. Erin puts her in a Backbreaker and Lucas comes off the middle rope with an elbow. They cover. 1.. 2..
No. Kickout. But they continue to try to work her over. But Leah ducks a clothesline and hits a Bulldog on Erin. She crawls over and tags her sister. Kasey dropkicks both Zoe & Erin. Scoop slam on Angel. Then grabs Lucas and slams her on top of her partner. Zoe rolls over as Leah comes back and sends Angel to the outside then follows her out. Kasey waits and applies a Cobra Clutch on Lucas. She's flailing away. Leah is trying to keep Erin out but she gets away from her and smashes Kasey from behind to break the hold. Zoe is down as Erin dropkicks the leg of Leah who was on the apron. She crashes her to the floor. Kasey dropkicks Angel in the back and she falls into the corner. She looks to reapply the Cobra clutch but Lucas hits a Stunner. Then she dives out on Leah through the ropes. Angel has scaled the ropes... Wings of an Angel (Moonsault). 1.. 2.. 3!)
***WINNERS - FALLEN FROM HEAVEN***
Ivory: I consider that an upset!
Matthews: This team from Britain has definitely impressed. They also move on to the Final Four. But before we see the other 2 teams are. We have some ladies of
NextGen who are not part of the tournament in action.
Ivory: Single Ladies action!
PEYTON GATES vs TESHA PRICE
(Hard fought, stiff match. Gates has the strength advantage and uses it to execute some high impact offense. Tesha gets the fight to the floor and sends Peyton into the guard railing. She gets back in as the referee counts but Gates beats the 10 count. Price is now blatantly choking Gates on the ropes. Then she gives her a rope burn across the eyes. Fans start to try to rally behind Gates. Tesha goes for a vertical suplex but its blocked and Peyton instead suplexes her.
Fight continues and Gates sends Price into the corner. She charges but is met with a jumping knee. Tesha signals for Pay The Price but when she pulls Peyton up she gets caught in a small package! 1.. 2.. 3!)
***WINNER - PEYTON GATES***
Matthews: Peyton Gates gets a slick victory tonight, Ivory.
Ivory: Both these woman put on quite a show, but its time to get back to the Tournament.
Matthews: THIS is the match I most wanted to see tonight.
BRITISH BOMBSHELLS (Holly Rocamora & Heidi Katrina)
 
***VERSUS***
VALENTINE BLACK (Makoto & Misao)
 
(Here's a match-up of two teams that will do anything to win. The Brits have the definitive size and strength advantage while the Japan team has the speed advantage. They start it off and doesn't take long for the cheap shots to begin as Misao lays in a hard forearm to the chest of Holly on the break. She follows with a few hard chops. Holly grabs her and drives gher into the corner. On the break Rocamora lands a hard boot, She suplexes her then tags in Heidi who is pounding down on Misao.
She is able to land a spinning back kick to the bread basket and then a knee lift. Makoto comes in and nails a Blazing Kick to the chest that drives Katrina hard into the corner. Belly to Belly Suplex by Makoto. She covers for two. Back in is Misao. They go for a double suplex but Heidi suplexes both of them instead. In comes Holly who nails Makoto with a Lariat. Holly goes for the Roca-Bomb on Misao but she counters with a Hurracanrana that sends her to the floor. Heidi German suplexes Misao. But is caught with a Springboard side kick to the face from Makoto. She goes up... as Misao positions Katrina... Dead Roses (Rope Hung Reverse DDT (Misao)/ Moonsault (Makoto). 1.. 2.. 3!)
***WINNERS - VALENTINE BLACK***
Matthews: Valentine Black win another one with that finisher. Its quite devastating.
Ivory: It is. I think if they hit that on anyone the match is done.
Matthews: Well we have three of our Final Four locked in, time to find out who will join them.
Ivory: This is going to be a great one!
The iiCONICS (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay)
***VERSUS***
THE AMAZONS (Ayesha Raymond & Kavita Devi)
 
(The iiConics come out dancing and having a good time. The Amazons are no-nonsense. No smiles from them at all. When they go to shake hands The Amazons squeeze the much smaller Australian's hands as hard as they can. They pull away and are shaking their hands as the Amazons grin. It starts off with Royce doing some shaking and baking on Kavita. Devi is trying to corner her but Peyton will get away and hit a leg kick. You can see she is getting annoyed. Finally they both tag out and Billie is doing a similar tactic. but Ayesha is is more agile. She corners Kay but she does a slick move with the ropes and gets behind her and School girls her for a 2 count. As soon as she kicks out Billie jumps up and dropkicks her. Tag into Peyton and They both hit corner lariats. Double Slam. Devi runs in and Royce Drop toes her and she falls on top of Ayesha. They both go up top and wait. When The Amazons stand they both leap.
But are both caught by the neck. Raymond Chokeslams Billie onto the apron. Kavita hoists Peyton up and Press Slams her over the top rope. Royce lands funny and seems to have injured her ankle. Ayesha goes out after Kay and sends her into the ring steps. She hits head first and is busted open. Meanwhile the referee has called out for medical personnel to see about Royce. The doctors check her out then bring her to the back as she's obviously injured. Billie crawls back in the ring. Her face a bloody mess. The Amazons are salivating. The referee stops them as he is going to call it but Billie grabs him by the collar and screams that no way is she quitting.
Devi shoves the ref to the side and begins clubbing away on Kay. Ayesha comes in and does the same. Powerslam and a cover, 2 count. Devi hits her Spin Kick. 1.. 2.. NO! Raymond puts her in a Boston Crab. We can see the blood running down the face of Billie but she wont quit. The referee is practically begging her to just tap out but she refuses. The fans are chanting and stomping their feet. Kavita comes in and goes for The Press Slam but Billie slips free and has her in a Sleeper Hold! Devi is down to a knee. Kay is really torquing but she's lost a lot of blood and her grips loosens just enough for Devi to break free. She tags in Raymond, she goes for her sitout Powerbomb but Billie counters into a Facebuster. She covers 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!!!
Ayesha slowly rises, lungblower by Kay! Another 2 Count! She rises but is wiped out with a Lariat. Both women are down when we hear the crowd erupt. Peyton Royce is limping back to the ring. You can see some medical person is telling her to stop but she shoves them to the ground. She gets on the apron as the crowd chants "iiConics!" A battered Billie and a woozy Ayesha both make the tag. Kavita charges with a big clothesline but Royce does a Matrix type of evasion but She jumps on her back for a crucifix but Devi gives her a Samoan Drop. In comes Raymond for the Double Sitout Powerbomb but as they set up Billie comes off the top rope with a Missile Dropkick that sends Raymond out the ring. Peyton gives Devi a Stunner. Then they hit the Sick Knee From Sydney. Peyton covers. 1.. 2.. 3!!!!!!)
***WINNERS - THE iiCONICS***
Matthews: They did it! Somehow the iiConics withstood everything and won!
Ivory: Listen to this crowd. They appreciate the incredible effort it took to not give up.
Matthews: Folks we have been told the Final Four will face each other on XWA TV then the Finals will be at the XWA Bash Show, and I have been told Ivory. We will call that match at the Bash.
Ivory: That is fantastic news! I can't wait!
