As the show begins we see XWA General Manager, Dixie Carter in the ring.
Carter: You know... When I took the position to become the General Manager of the Xtreme Wrestling Association I knew it would not be an easy job. But I never thought it would be as hard as the last week has been. I am stuck with making a tough decision. But one I knew I wouldn't make is just awarding the X1 Championship to "Magnum" Adam Cole. You want to win the X1 you do it in the ring!
(Crowd Pops. Then chants "XWA")
Carter: But how do I decide who he faces. Hiroshi Tanahashi or Tommy Dreamer? Well It was very hard choosing one. So instead I chose both! Tonight the X1 Climax will be decided in a Three Way Dance! Now a Three Way Dance is a little different than a Triple Threat Match. This is an Elimination match. So the last man standing will be the winner! In the end there will be no doubt who deserves to go on to the XTREME WARFARE Main Event! So I'm going to get out of this ring and get this show started. Enjoy the show!
"The Sniper" Corey Graves w/Amber Gallows vs "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka w/Melissa Anderson
This all started because of Graves attacking Melissa a few weeks ago and putting her in the Lucky 13 submission. Jimmy has taken offense and wants to serve up some retribution for Anderson. The match starts off all Snuka. Chops, punches, Headbutts. Graves is taking a beating and the crowd loves it. Jimmy whips Corey into the ropes and then does the double leapfrog but on the second Graves stops and dropkicks Jimmy in the back of the head. Then he sends him to the floor and whips him into the Railing. Then rams him kidney first into the ring apron.
He rolls him back in and begins to stomp the knee of the Superfly. Atomic Shinbreaker from Graves as he continues to look to soften the leg up. Amber is clapping in approval while Melissa is shouting words of encouragement. Graves applies the Lucky 13 and it looks like its over but Jimmy refuses to tap. Instead he drags himself by his fingernails and gets the rope break. He immediately rolls to the floor holding his knee. Graves goes to the apron then leaps down at a just rising Snuka. But Jimmy was ready and chops him right out the air. He slams Corey's head into the railing then is about lay him out with a Haymaker when Amber steps in-between. Jimmy holds up the punch which allows Corey to sucker punch him in the eye.
Corey sends Snuka back in as the crowd is booing. But here comes Melissa who drops Amber with an elbow then puts her on her shoulder and carries her to the back. Corey rains down some punches to Jimmy. Then sees Anderson leaving with Amber. He yells at the ref for allowing that. He then signals for the Lucky 13 he bends down to apply it but Jimmy hooks him into a Small Package! 1.. 2.. 3!
Winner: "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka
(Jimmy gives the adoring crowd the "I Love You" sign but is wallopped from behind by Graves. He goes outside and grabs a chair and slams it across Jimmy's back. Then drives it into the knee. He then applies Lucky 13. The ref is calling for the bell but Corey wont release the hold. Officials have to come from he back to get Graves to finally give up the hold. The crowd is booing as Jimmy is in bad shape they bring out a gurney for him but he refuses to get on it. Instead two officials have to help him to the back as Snuka can not put any weight on the knee.)
Briscoes vs Charm City Squad - XWA Tag Team Championship
Both teams respect one another but the Briscoes aren't much for handshake. The bell rings and we get a very hard fought Title match. Swann snaps off a Hurracanrana that sends Jay to the outside. Swann hits a Suicide Dive out on him. He celebrates but is caught with a Blockbuster from the apron by Mark. Fans are loving the action.
Later Mark goes for Froggy Bow on Swann but misses. Swann does a Headstand Spinning headscissors Takedown. He tags in Moose who Slams both Mark and Jay to the mat then hits a Double Elbow drop to both of them. Pop-up Clothesline on Jay connects and he covers as Swann keeps Mark away. 1.. 2.. No! The fight wages on. with both teams getting near falls. The Briscoes look to hit the Doomsday Device on Swann but Moose Spears Jay. 1.. 2.. No!
Mark unleashes some Redneck Kung Fu on Moose. Then Jay hits the Jay-Drilla! 1.. 2.. No!!! Swann breaks it up! Moose sends Mark into the corner and follows with the Spear but Mark moves and Moose hits the post. Swann hits a Uranage on Jay and goes for the 450. But Mark has him and slams him from the top. Mark goes up as Jay tosses Moose from the ring. Froggy Bow connects! 1.. 2.. 3!

Main Event: "Magnum" Adam Cole vs Tommy Dreamer vs Hiroshi Tanahashi - Three Way Dance
(All 3 men make their entrances. All 3 get some cheers but it was probably Dreamer who got the most. Strategy in a Three Way Dance is a bit different. Here you could work with your opponent to eliminate an other. But these three have a bit too much pride to start and look to do this on their own.
Their are no Dqs in this type of match which works to Cole's advantage as he continuously breaks the rules. He sends Tanahashi to the floor and then hurls him into the 2nd row. Tommy comes out And starts connecting with right hands to Adam's head. He Irish whips him and Cole hits the ring steps knee first. He is down and in pain as Lauren is over to check on him Then Tommy is Back Suplexed on the floor by Tanahashi. Hiroshi sneds Tommy in Then goes up top and hits a Cross Body 1.. 2.. No! Dreamer kicks out and Tanahashi hits the ropes but Dreamer follows and nails a back elbow to the jaw of Tana. Cole is starting to get up and slowly returns to the ring. There is a noticeable limp.
In the ring Tommy has put Tanahashi in the Tree of Woe. He runs back to his corner Then charges for his basement dropkick but he is met with an Adam Cole Superkick. Then Cole hits a running knee to the chest of the upside down Tanahashi. But we see after impact Cole grimaces and rubs that knee again. He goes to pick up Dreamer for the Florida Key but Tommy fights it and Snap mares Adam over and dropkicks him in the back of the head. He lifts him up on his shoulders and hits the Death Valley Driver! 1.. 2.. NO! Dreamer now puts Cole in the Tree of Woe. Tanahashi comes over and lays in a chop to Tommy's chest. He looks for a Suplex but Dreamer blocks it and Suplexes Hiroshi instead. He now once again puts Tanahashi in the Tree of Woe and runs out and grabs two chairs. He puts them both over the heads of his opponents and hits Basement dropkicks to both of them as the crowd erupts.
Tommy pulls Cole down. Then places the chair in the center of the ring. He drags Adam over and signals for the Piledriver. He gets him up over the chair when from behind...
It's Raven! He clubs Dreamer from behind. Then gives him the Evenflow on the steel chair! The crowd is booing loudly as Raven strikes his pose...
Raven leaves the ring as Adam Cole staggers up. He hooks Tommy from behind... Florida Key! Tanahashi is freeing himself as the ref counts 1.. 2.. 3! Tanahashi tried to save Tommy but was a second late!
Tommy Dreamer is eliminated.
Now its down to Cole and Tanahashi. Cole starts slugging Hiroshi with Forearms but Tanahashi fires back with elbows to the jaw. Adam is staggered and Tana hits a Slingblade. He goes up for the High Fly Flow but Adam is up and dropkicks Tanahashi Then hooks him and nails a Superplex. He covers 1.. 2.. No! He pulls Hiroshi up and hits the Corona Crash. Lauren is clapping ringside as Adam pulls up Tana for the Florida Key. But Tanahashi is elbowing himself free. Then does a switch and hits a SnapDragon Suplex. Cole folds over like an accordion. Both men are slow to rise. They trade elbow shots then Adam tries to sneak in a kick but Tana catches it and delivers a Dragon Screw Leg Whip.
Adam is down clutching his knee. Tanahashi locks in a Sharpshooter. Magnum is yelling out. Lauren is telling him to fight. Adam almost gets to the ropes when Tanahashi pulls him away. The crowd buzz is getting louder now as they sense the end is near. But Cole fights still and again gets himself to the ropes and this time grabs the bottom rope. The crowd gives Cole a round of applause for his intestinal fortitude.
Tanahashi goes after the leg again but Cole hits an enzuguiri. Tanahashi is down as Cole pulls himself up but you can see he can't put much weight on the knee. But he grabs Tanahashi and delivers Coleateral. He collapses on him 1.. 2..
NOOO!!!! Cole punches the mat in frustration. Cole shakes out his bad knee. He hits the ropes... Shining Wizard! Cole grabs at his knee again. He doesn't cover. He pulls Tanahashi up for the Florida Key. But his knee buckles and Hiroshi lands on Coles head. Tanhashi rolls away Adam struggles up but is met with another Slingblade. Tanahashi goes up. High Fly Flow! 1.. 2.. NOOOO!!!!! Cole somehow got his shoulder up!!! Tanahashi looks determined and hits Twist and Shout (Snap swinging neckbreaker) But doesn't cover. Instead he locks in a Texas Cloverleaf. Cole is waving his arms frantically. Lauren is pleading with him. Cole refuses to quit. But Tanahashi is pulling with all he has left. Cole then goes limp. The ref checks his arm... He's out! He calls for the bell.
Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi
Finally after 1 year. Hiroshi Tanahashi will get his long awaited rematch against Okada. The fans are on their feet chanting "XWA".
