| XWA PRESENTS Match 1: X1 Climax Block A: Apollo Crews vs Karl Anderson W/Doc Gallows
(Thanks to some distraction by Gallows, Karl is in control most of the way here. He hits a TKO for a two count. Apollo Rallies back, hitting a Fall away Slam. He covers for 2. Then Gallows tries to interfere again but it backfires as Karl and Doc's heads collide. Crews capitalizes and hits the Apollo Landing (Press Slam followed by a Standing Moonsault). 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winner: Apollo Crews (+2 Points)
Match 2: X1 Climax Block B: Tommy Dreamer vs Bad Luck Fale w/Lauren
(Fale attacks Dreamer before the bell and is pounding away on him, but Tommy begins to fight back. He is rocking the huge Tongan with haymaker rights. And has him in the corner. He sends to the far buckle and charges but id met with a boot. He goes for a big splash but misses. Dreamer is fired up. Lauren gets on the apron but Tommy gives her a stare and she wisely steps back down. Out to the ring comes The Future. They Tommy sees this as he nails a basement dropkick to the back of Fale's head. Tommy wants the Death Valley Driver but then the Future walk towards the ring. Tommy stops readying himself for them but the referee gets in between and warns them to leave. From the other side slides in Raven. He spins Tommy around and nails the Evenflow DDT. Then leaves as Fale gets to his feet. The Future back away as Fale grabs Dreamer and delivers the Grenade. 1.. 2.. 3.)

Match 3: "Bullet Babe" Amber Gallows vs Melissa Anderson
(Surprising that no one from Bullet Club is here with Amber. But Anderson is still looking around to see if anyone is lurking about. Match starts off slow as both women decide to feel each other out. But it doesn't take long for it to heat up and its Melissa who has the advantage. She sends Amber into the ropes and nails a Leg Lariat. She looks for the Curb Stomp but Amber fights it off. Amber then yanks Melissa by the waist band and sends her to the floor. Baseball Slide connects for the Bullet Babe. She goes out and slams Melissa to the floor. She tries to ram Anderson's head into the apron but it's blocked and its Mrs Gallows' head that is rammed into the apron the count is at 7 and Anderson sends Amber into the ring. at 8. Then as she goes to enter someone from under the ring grabs her foot. She can't pull away quick enough as the count reaches 10.)

(Melissa is incensed. And now goes under the ring and pulls out....
Sable!! Melissa is besides herself and starts beating the hell out of her. Whipping her into the guard railing. Then sends her in the ring. Amber sees this and just shakes her head at Sable and leaves her there alone. Melissa is in with eyes of fire. Sable is begging off but Melissa wont hear it. She kicks her right in the face. Then pulls her up... Air Raid Crash!!. She is not done though. She grabs her arms... Curb Stomp on Sable!!!! Sable is out cold as the crowd cheers her getting her receipt cashed in. Melissa doesn't really acknowledge the cheers though as she leaves the ring.)
Match 4: X1 Climax Block A: Juice Robinson vs Raven
(Juice got this opportunity when Okada refused his invitation. He wants to make the most of it especially against this man. Raven seems dismissive of Juice which proves to be a mistake in the early going as Robinson is a house of fire from the start. He lands a series of jabs followed by a haymaker that drops Raven to the mat. Big dropkick by Juice. Then a Vertical Suplex. He covers for two. Juice goes up top but Raven hits the ropes causing Juice to crotch himself. Raven then connects with a big Knee lift. He sends him into the buckle and hits his Corner Lariat/ Bulldog combo. Then Hits the Evenflow DDT and gets the victory.)

Match 5: X1 Climax Block B: Baron Corbin w/Dijak & Lee vs Ricky Steamboat
(The other members of the Future come out with Corbin. The referee warns them to not get involved. They raise their hands as if to see "Not us". Corbin gets in the ring slowly Taking his time to remove his jacket then charges Ricky looking to catch him by surprise. However Steamboat was ready and flips Corbin over three times with textbook arm drag takedowns. Then a Knife hand smash for good measure. Baron rolls out the ring and is livid, He kicks the ring steps as his teammates try to calm him down. Corbin comes back and catches Steamboat with a kick. Then Baron uses some brawling techniques on Ricky a bit. Corbin sets him up for a Superplex but Ricky lands some chops and punches to his head and Corbin falls backwards to the mat. Ricky stands looking for the Flying Body Press but instead dives out on Dijak and Lee! The crowd loves it. Steamboat climbs to the apron where Baron wants to slingshot him in but Steamboat is able to counter it and slingshots Baron out the ring and into the Future! Dijak and Lee are down for the count. Ricky jumps off the apron and hits Baron with a Flying Chop. He sends him back in, climbs the ropes, and hits the Fling Body Press! 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winner: Ricky Steamboat (+2 Points)
Match 6: The Young Kings vs The Young Bucks
(This match resembles their first encounter quite a bit. Both teams hitting some fan friendly double team spots. But a Double Superkick by the Bucks seems to have turned the tide here for good. They Set up for the Indytaker on D.Young but when Matt leaps he is met by a Superkick from Kenny! Young is able to twist his body and instead he Piledrives Nick! 1.. 2.. NO! A running blockbuster on King from Matt. He covers 1.. 2.. No! Bucks hit the Standing headscissors dropkick spot on King who falls to the floor. They hits a double suplex on Young Then go for More Bang For Your Buck. But D.Young gets his knees up on Nick. Then catches Matt and nails a Falling Powerslam. He puts him on his shoulders as Kenny is back to the apron and King hits a Springboard Cutter on Matt. 1.. 2.. 3!)

Match 7: X1 Climax Block A: "Magnum" Adam Cole w/Lauren vs "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka
Back and forth match. No matter what Cole seems to do to Jimmy, he keeps coming back. Even a trip up y Lauren doesn't stop Snuka for long. He is continually raking Adam's chest with hard chops. A Corona Kick connects then Cole goes for the Panama Sunrise (Super front flip Piledriver) But Jimmy's Strength has him counter it into an Alabama Slam. He signals to the crowd as he climbs the ropes but Lauren distracts him which allows Cole to go up and give Jimmy a Fireman's Carry Neckbreaker from the top rope. He then hits the Florida Key! 1.. 2.. 3!)
Winner: "Magnum" Adam Cole (+2 Points)
Match 8: X1 Climax Block B: Doc Gallows w/Amber Gallows vs Hiroshi Tanahashi
Tanahashi starts off fast, using his superior mat skills and speed to ground the big man. He starts to work the leg of Gallows a while. But Doc uses some dirty tactics to turn the tide. He is choking Tanahashi on the 2nd rope. When the ref puts the count in, Doc breaks but starts arguing with the referee. This is just to allow Amber to choke Hiroshi further across the ring rope. Gallows continues to maul at Tanahashi. His wife is shouting encouragement to him and insults at the ringside fans. Doc goes for a Savate Kick but Hiroshi catches it and executes a Dragon Screw Leg Whip. He puts on a Figure Four Leglock. Gallows fights and uses his long arms to barely grab the rope for a break. Amber swipes at Tamahashi's leg which causes him to get caught with another Savate Kick attempt. Doc goes for the Gallows Pole. But Tanahashi breaks free and hands an elbow to the top of his head. He hits the ropes and nails a Sling Blade. Tanahashi goes up but Amber is on the apron. The ref threatens a DQ if she doesn't get down. He doesn't see Karl Anderson has run down and shoves Tanahashi off the top rope. Anderson ducks down and rides by the ring apron as Doc gets up and gives Tanahashi the Gallows Pole! 1.. 2.. 3)

Match 9: reDRagon w/Scarlett vs Tongan Mob Bosses (Tama Tonga & Tanga Roa)w/Fale - UWF World Tag Team Championship
(The announce team talk about reDRagon's recent troubles with Bullet Club, The Briscoes, Dudleys and Road Warriors and how they are looking over their shoulders all the time. This is a hotly contested match. Both teams having thier moments. reDRagon hit Double Dragon on Tama for a 2 count. Tanga Roa nailed Bobby Fish with a Powerslam from the 2nd rope but Kyle broke up the ensuing cover. At one point Fale trips up O'Reilly which causes Tama to nail a perfect dropkick. but when he hits the ropes to follow up with his leaping splash he is tripped up by Scarlett. Who gives Fale a middle finger to boot.
Later in the match the Tongan team are in control. As they have Kyle in their corner. But O'reilly hits a double pendulum lariat on both men and makes the hot tag to Bobby who hits a Sick Kick on Roa which sends him to the floor. They signal for the Chasing The Dragon on Tama but Fale runs in and attacks reDRagon and the referee calls for the bell.)

(reDRagon are taking a beating but Scarlett runs in and sprays hair spray in the eyes of Fale. Kyle and Bobby double Clothesline him over the ropes as the other members of TMB take off.)
Main Event: OMEGA vs Kazuchika Okada w/Gedo - XWA Championship
(Many wondered if OMEGA's win was just a fluke, Okada had been so dominant. Well this had been heard by the champ as well. And he was determined to prove it was no fluke. Instead of the great wrestling match they had at BURN. This one was a slugfest from the start. Okada firing Elbow Smashes at the head of the champ. OMEGA answered in kind. The fans are on the edge of their seats. The desperation from both men permeates the air, or is that the onions on the guy's hot dog sitting in front of you? Regardless this is not a match anymore. OMEGA lands a boot and whips Okada towards the corner but he reverses and fires the champ in. Okada follows with a back splash. then snap mares him over and nails a Basement Dropkick to the side of his head. Heavy Rain by Okada. He covers for a quick 2. OMEGA battles Back and catches Okada with the Dragon Revolution Suplex (Pumphandle Flipping Release Half Nelson Suplex). The crowd pops for that. OMEGA goes for the One-Winged Angel but Okada rakes his eyes Then hits a Backstabber. Okada sits OMEGA on the top rope then dropkicks him off it and to the floor as Gedo applauds.
Okada doesn't let OMEGA catch his breath out on the floor he is right out there and goes to whip OMEGA into the steel barrier but OMEGA reverses and sends Okada in. He then dropkicks him over the railing into the laps of the ringside fans. Referee Paul Turner is being lenient due to importance of this match, but demands OMEGA return to the ring and then starts a count on Okada. Okada returns at about 7.
They continue to trade move after move. Okada goes for the Reverse Neckbreaker but OMEGA fights free and tries for a Cutter but Okada shoves him off and OMEGA clashes his head with that of referee Paul Turner. OMEGA staggers back right into the arms of Okada. who hits the RAINMAKER! He covers.... but Turner is shaken up by the collision. He slowly shakes it off and counts 1.. 2.. NOOO!!!! OMEGA barely beats the 3 count. Gedo is insane with anger. Okada grits his teeth. He pulls him up again. Rainmaker attempt.... OMEGA ducks it and dropkicks Okada in the back and he collides with Turner! Okada is stunned. OMEGA hits a Reverse Frankensteiner! He covers as a groggy referee crawls over and counts. 1.. 2.. 3! However Okada's foot was on the ropes. but Turner didn't realize it and counted to 3!!!!
Winner and STILL XWA Champion: OMEGA
(Gedo and Okada are going crazy. They are screaming at referee Turner. But he says he never saw it. OMEGA has his belt and is outside the ring high fiveing fans. Okada has Paul Turner by the collar but he lets him go fearing a suspension. Gedo and Okada leave the ring with Gedo screaming that XWA asked for this. Now there will be CHAOS.) | |
